Final exams, final friendship times, and some final goodbyes for Daisy, Esther, and Susan before the summer term wraps up, and it’s suddenly time to say goodbye to Sheffield!
It's been a busy reading month so far and lately I have not gotten back to Giant Days, one of my favorite graphic novel series of all time. Every time I pick up one of these issues, I feel like I am coming home again. I love the characters, their stories and struggles are relatable, and I always want to see what is next for our group (specifically with graduation on the horizon). So the other night I hopped onto Hoopla and checked out the next issue that I needed to read and I was so glad I did!
SPOILERS AHEAD
This is the last week of college and our trio are planning to make the most of it! But things do not go as planned when Daisy senses there is something is afoot in the residence hall she is in charge of. While Esther and Susan prepare for their finals, Daisy begins to get obsessed with whatever might be having at the residence hall during this last week and she is determined to figure out who is behind it and what they are planning as their grand finale.
I know I am getting very close to the end of Giant Days, and it will maybe be one of the saddest reads (in a happy/sad sort of way) when I come to the end, but I adorded this issue just like I have many others. When I get to the end of the series, I will most likely start all over again reading from the top. This will always be a treasured series for me, that I feel like relates to college life and many of my own real life experiences in so many ways. Daisy, Esther, Susan, and McGraw will always be near and dear to my heart and I am cherishing these last few issues and the end of university with them!
P.S. In this issue in particular, I loved Daisy's new outfit when she becomes obsessed with what is going on in the residence hall.
It's the last week of uni for the girls. Esther is busy studying and taking tests while someone is playing tricks on Daisy. It's off to the last dance of their college lives.
An issue like the end of college: Too soon and while you want to cherish the memories so much stuff happens in the meantime. I loved this one and although I would love to spend 50 more issues with them, it is time to go
Poor poor Daisy going down the rabbit hole at the end of their time at university! Sorry to say that it was still amusing, especially her Girl with a Dragon Tattoo makeover, which was an amazing look for her, speciality flu tablets notwithstanding....
Happy for her and Saffy as well!
I have a feeling once the series ends, I’ll have to obsessively reread everything.

Final everything. I wonder where the story will go after graduation. I really liked Daisy's alternate night persona that came out. I would expect it from Ester, but this was a fun twist.
