One Useless Rebirth
He Bai won the lottery, became rich, and reached the pinnacle of life. Then, he inadvertently took a picture of the Film Emperor Di Qiuhe being killed. And after reporting this case to the police, he was reborn in a midst of confusion.

So basically, this is a sweet story of a naive and cute person who goes back to the past, flaps his little butterfly wings, and helps the man who used to be last life’s big Film Emperor, but in this life, is still a miserable Great Devil King, to walk towards the pinnacle of life (while also dragging someone home)!

This will be on my Top 10 books this year, and the couple may be in the Top 5. I can't believe what an unexpected gem this was. RTC very soon, hopefully (；′⌒`).

3.5⭐ It took me sometime to get into it, but it turned out quite sweet. The plot was a bit too convenient, but the romance was very natural.

I’m in a loss of words after this ending. Oh my. So much emotion and I need to stop crying to summarize my thought and write this review. In short, I totally recommend you this novel and this author! Author! I love you! Thank you for such a nice works.
Like in other novels of this author here we have a quite an uncommon and not cliche, as for me, relationships and ML especially. Really, each time ML and MC going thought such a character grows. You can see so much change and grows that it’s just awesome. Characters shows their other sides. The whole novel seems quite real. Not sure how to explain my thoughts normally)
And here we even have some mystery. I love this plot.
The plot have a dog food, face slapping, revenge, comedy and a lot of photographer things. I love the photography, so it was quite enjoyable in this aspect. Not so much of drama, which is good for me. Not much of fluff, which I also like. Even though it is quite long I was not bored when reading it.
Really like this story. I’m hoping to read more stories from this author. It is really gold and author is talented.
Recommend you to try it for yourself.

I loved this story - it was paced perfectly and I felt we really got to see the relationship slowly develop from the first accidental photo. I thought both characters were really well thought out and had realistic personalities.
I like how strong both the characters were, and the minor drama towards the end. The time travel never gets fully explained, which I thought was a bit unfortunate (I love reading how the author justifies these fantastical elements), but I loved the nice closure in the end when He Bai travels back to the original time line.
Ultimately, this story is a fun, relaxing way to spend a day or two.
I like how strong both the characters were, and the minor drama towards the end. He Bai guardó su cámara y miró directamente a Di Qiuhe en el escenario.
"Ser tu modelo está lejos de ser suficiente". Di Qiuhe miró a He Bai con toda la dulzura en sus ojos: "Quiero ser tu modelo, tu pareja, con quien pasarás el resto de tu vida. Cachorro, ¿te gustaría darme la oportunidad de ser todo eso?"
5*... Es una novela de renacimiento muy linda, he leído bastantes de renacimiento pero esta definitivamente se puede convertir en una de mis favoritas, es gracioso porque He Bai no renace porque lo hayan traicionado o algo por el estilo sino que renace es porque a Di Qiuhe SÍ lo han traicionado y lastimado un montón de veces hasta el punto de que lo quieren muerto... En pocas palabras, He Bai renace específicamente por Di Qiuhe. Y por esta razón Di Qiuhe tiene TANTA RAZÓN al decir que He Bai es su estrella de la suerte porque SÍ, He Bai lo ayuda solo con la intención de que Di Qiuhe se mantenga sano, sea feliz y logre vivir una larga vida...
Es muy lindo todo el proceso por el que pasa Di Qiuhe para que se de cuenta que esta enamorado y digo lindo porque literalmente parece un perrito confundido sobre sus sentimientos ya que el 90% de las personas que lo rodeaban eran una mierda y aparte CRECIÓ con esa mierda... La verdad me impresiona que Di Qiuhe sea tan LINDO DIOS ES MUY TIERNO. Él hace todo lo posible por ser un mejor novio cuando comienza a salir con He Bai y lo triste es que sabe que tiene sus defectos pero quiere cambiar solo por He Bai... Por otro lado He Bai también es un amor, pensé que me iba a desesperar porque no se daba cuenta de sus sentimientos pero una vez que los notó (? Fue bastante activo con eso de seducir a Di Qiuhe... (intento fallido por ser demasiado lindo) en fin...
He Bai me dejó en el suelo cuando él literalmente compró con su propio dinero una villa y eligió desde los muebles hasta las decoraciones más pequeñas según los deseos de Di Qiuhe porque él quería que Di Qiuhe sintiera que tenía un hogar...
La relación de estos dos es tan tierna que es comer comida para perros cada capitulo, los dos se aman demasiado, se PROTEGEN y ahh es muy linda la forma en que se comunican y en la que tienen sorpresas muy tiernas para el otro...
Me encanta el hecho de que ahora no están solos... Y que He Bai no haya renacido "inútilmente" JASJA
También es reconfortante que el Di Qiuhe de 35 años completamente destruido también haya encontrado a su He Bai...

First of all I would like to make it clear that I read the translation of this book on the flying lines app and although, grammatically and for other reasons the book isn't solid, I still thought it was okay. Reason being that I was looking for a light reading with humor and fun just to take my mind of the things around me. So yeah I recommend it for light reading without much of seriousness.
I genuinely didn't expect such a wholesome and respectful romance from this book. At all. But it surprised me and hence the 4 stars.
The characters take their own sweet time falling in love and it is very natural, because they fall in love due to mutual admiration for their characters and amusements at each other's quirks.
Characters are pretty 3 dimensional especially He Bai the protagonist and the lead whose pov we follow the most. He has genuine interest in his craft and spends a lot of time to perfect it. He is understanding and pretty mature and doesn't cling onto his love interest or really depend on him to further his career.
Di Quihe (his love interest and other main lead) is clingy but his circumstance were such that it is understandable why he is like that. But thankfully his entire universe doesn't revolve around He Bai(although it does a lot) he has his own agendas and own career and he also supports his man's career. He is not the typical sugar daddy love interest, in fact it couldn't be way farther than that.
This novel follows typical rebirth or transmigration trope seen in Chinese novels and gives it fresh take.
As a romance despite having gotten together, readers don't tire of the main leads interaction, they are still so fun to follow. Their romance is healthy and they both stand in equal footing in the relationship. Usual trope like cheating, abuse and miscommunication are not used. There is no excessive feminisation of one main lead, something so often seen in boys love genre. This seems like a regular romance between too respectful gay partners in normal life, just a little more cute I guess. Every body in the story doesn't end up falling for each other or anybody which is natural. As a person who doesn't usually enjoy romance, I liked it
Although there are plot holes and all the fact that this book managed to portray such a good romance made me like it a lot. As an international reader I liked the book quite a lot and recommend it to people tired of toxic mainstream romance books

Couldn't deal with the main characters... the actual main character was decently written for the most part, but the male lead? If the story was written in a different way, perhaps such a low EQ, quick to make assumption character would be cute, but the way it was written, the romance felt ridiculously forced (speaking as someone who is usually ok with some degree of plot holes... this..... ><). I see absolutely no reason why the main character conceded to the male lead again and again. Each to their own though! If you can stand the way they get together, it can be pretty cute and engaging at times.

É bom gente, mas é bem romance mesmo, eu esperava um pouco mais de foco na indústria do entretenimento e tudo mais, mas realmente é 100% romance com todo o resto apenas de plano de fundo. Os personagens são bons, nada demais, o enredo te deixa bem entretido, não é nada entediante, achei que foi tudo muito light, faltou mais conflito. Mas se você estiver procurando um romance legal, com casal desenvolvido e super tranquilo sem ser entediante, pode ler numa boa.
*Quase morri de medo naquele último extra, estava achando desnecessário aquilo, mas no final acabei amando o que a autora fez nele, os extras valem a leitura.

Al principio el gong no me caía bien y estuve a nada de abandonar la novela, pero como me gustaba el protagonista y la historia seguía leyendo Y no me arrepiento de mí decisión de seguirla.
Me ha gustado, no encantado. Pero ha estado bien, si es cierto que para mi gusto la pareja se estancó un poco a mitad novela.
Y luego había el típico drama de la familia del gong...
Y el gong no es nada profesional, no entiendo cómo fue el emperador de la película...
Se me ha caído un.poco la novela.
Luego el scan inglés tenía muchas faltas de ortografía y me costaba seguir la historia.
Tampoco ayudaba que partieran tanto los capítulos.

It was...okay. the plot is not original. But i love how healthy their relationship is. It's not really my favorite because there's almost nothing special about the story. I skipped the side stories at the end.

pros: honestly a great one, probably one of the most healthy relationships. their dynamic is great. the story itself is also good. i rly liked both mcs. the side characters are also great and memorable

It is definitely a light read for a transmigration BL theme. The cliches are expected and not all consuming. The playfulness between the main couple kept me reading to the end without regret.
