This is only a glimpse into the rest of the Cross crew, you also get to catch up bit with Daniel & Addison

Seductive è il secondo volume del duetto con protagonista Daniel Cross, e racconta una storia d’amore e di sofferenza, quella di una terribile perdita che i protagonisti hanno dovuto affrontare, ognuno a modo suo.
Daniel dopo aver osservato il “periodo di attesa” che si era imposto ha fatto la sua mossa, e facendo leva sul proprio lato possessivo ha reclamato Addison.

🖋️In questo breve romanzo i protagonisti mettono a nudo le loro fragilità allo scopo di svelare l’uno all’altro se stessi. Perché non desiderano altro che farsi amare e accettare così come sono.

Addison attraverserà un momento di disagio a causa degli ultimi avvenimenti e per alcune recenti scoperte che la manderanno in confusione.
Riuscirà Daniel a dimostrarle chi è lui veramente e quanto la ama?
Non resta che leggere il romanzo per scoprirlo.

What was the point of this book really? Just Why?




First, Addison's appearance was different than before (badically it was about her hair, okay maybe she dyed it), then information about her family that did not correspond to the first book was added.

AND UNFORTUNATELY, I had to have a glimpse of Aria and Carter's happy life. (Merciless series)

Also, a new unnecessary drama is added. (Family drama for Addison) bla bla bla... so what? The point?

Well, I thought I would be happy to read more about Daniel and Addison, but inconsistency killed it for me.

In short, I wish I hadn't read it, I liked the first book, it could have stayed that way.

Oh, and I was so glad it didn't happen in the first book. But BAM! Here it is, in this one. In the past, Carter and his siblings gave their own punishment for Addison's sexual abuser from her past. Well, they killed him basically, and in this book, Addison finally learned this and she said, THANK YOU! (My favorite most stupid cliche ever) My dear girl, ARE YOU FOR REAL? What you had been through is horrible, I can't even imagine, but weren't you a peaceful humanist? Did you really thank someone for killing someone else? This is really stupid for me. So the abuser/rapist is the criminal, I totally agree with this nothing can justify his motives, but the killer isn't? HELLO, I AM TALKING ABOUT THE KILLER, KILLER, A PERSON WHO KILLED SOMEONE? (And they do it in cold blood) Why is this situation always romanticized?

Overall: I still like Daniel (!) and Addison and I am voting 3 from 2.5 Stars because I hate giving low votes and I already gave 2 stars to only Miss Winters before.
BUT, That doesn't mean I won't change it in the future. My votes highly depend on my mood, and I am an indecisive person, my votes can differ from time to time.

Seductive by Willow Winters was originally part of the Alphas Confess All Anthology. This provides more to Daniel and Addison's story in Possessive. I loved this addition to their story.

This is an EPIC read and I highly recommend it. Seductive by Willow Winters will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ARISTOCRACY!!!

Ed eccoci all’ultimo capitolo della storia di Daniel, l’ultimo dei fratelli Cross, e Addison, la più silenziosa e “sfortunata” tra le donne di mafia di questa famiglia. Addison è stata forse quella che più si è opposta non tanto all’uomo, perché il suo amore per Daniel non è mai da mettere in discussione, quanto piuttosto allo stile di vita dei Cross. E come darle torto? La vita della compagna di un malavitoso è una vita sempre sull’orlo del baratro, sempre nell’incertezza del domani, al braccio di un uomo che potrebbe finire dietro le sbarre per chissà quanto tempo o al cimitero per sempre. Ma come affrontare certi argomenti se nemmeno sa confessare quanto amore prova o chiedere quanto amore provi lui?

E Daniel? Daniel non mette in discussione la propria lealtà e fedeltà ai fratelli, ma l’amore per Addison viene prima, sfavilla come la stella polare che in cielo indica il nord. Lui forse è un mafioso sui generis, salvo che… soltanto lui sa cosa prova, visto che è chiuso ermetico come Fort Knox!

E se, soprattutto in una coppia, non si parla di ciò che si sente e ciò che si vuole, non si va proprio da nessuna parte. Perciò questo capitolo chiarificatore era proprio la conclusione di cui questi protagonisti avevano bisogno.

Intorno al loro tango di molti sentimenti e poche parole, gira comunque tutto il circo familiare Cross e aleggia la costante minaccia del nemico.

Ecco, l’unico neo di questa nuova serie è proprio il Nemico, che resta nell’ombra, ancora una volta non scovato né sconfitto, lasciandoci di nuovo appesi ad attendere una conclusione generale… che comincio a dubitare arriverà mai. Ma cosa importa se intanto possiamo leggere gli intrecci magici e passionali di simili potenti personaggi?

𝕊𝕖𝕕𝕦𝕔𝕥𝕚𝕧𝕖 is an extended epilogue of Addison and Daniel’s story from Possessive. You should definitely read Possessive before reading Seductive as it would make no sense if you don’t read the first book.

I have mixed feeling about this one because on the one hand, I was thrilled when I saw Possessive. I love Addison and Daniel. I wanted to see how their story progressed and I wanted them to be happy.

My issue is, while I understand life can be an endless stream of bad news and heartbreak, I felt Addison was constantly being put through the ringer with loss after loss. She does step up to the plate and takes her place in the family which I’m proud of. I just hated to see her struggle so much.

Daniel and Addison deserve to be happy and I wanted that for them. I wanted more out of this book. I was a bit confused as to the purpose of the book also.

I missed Addison and Daniel so much omg I wish this was a full length novel. When you read Carter’s book, their problems are brought up and seeing their povs finally helps understand everything so much more. I’m glad they’re able to communicate so much more and this extra was overall a great read.

WOW!! What an emotional book, so much was contained in this heart wrenchingly beautiful extension novella length continuation of Daniel and Addison’s story from Possessive.

“Our relationship started with lies, and it’s carried on with secrets. She’ll learn to trust me though. She has to. I won’t give her any reason not to.”


This book hits ALL THE FEELS and it pulled at every part of me, the emotions that pours off the page pulses to life- it’s what Willow Winters does best, time and time again. She creates characters that feel so true to life that you go on this journey with them, experiencing their every hurt and pain, highs and lows; even when it felt like it was too much, you relish the breakthrough that sings with hope that finally- it will all be okay.
Again, Incredibly well written as a short story and perfect addition as an extension to Possessive. Also we get to see a side to the Cross brothers, it’s endearing and yet still all the things that make them formidable... and a certain Detective Walsh keeps adding more and more intrigue.

FIVE EMOTIONAL and HEART WRENCHINGLY BEAUTIFUL STARS ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Man oh Man was it good to be back with Daniel and Addison. This couple may be a quiter more unassuming couple in Willow's Merciless Universe. To me they have always stood out as the star crossed lovers almost with the way they came together. We know that Addison struggles being a part of the Cross brothers world and this short novella just highlights that and brings a level of emotionality and depth to their relationship we haven't seen since Possessive was released.

Told in Dual POV we get both sides of the story as Daniel and Addison wade the waters of another one of life's stumbling blocks that has been thrown in their path. I was reminded of why I love these two characters in one quote from Daniel's perspective.

"I just don't know my place" "It's next to me. That's your place, with me"

For me this novella just added another layer to the multifaceted world Willow is creating with the Cross brothers and I devoured it.

Who doesn’t love a hot, broody alpha? Those are my favorite type of men. Possessive, dominant, filthy-mouthed, and an alpha-hole. Yes, please!

Seductive is a short novella about Daniel and Addison. If you are unfamiliar with Willow’s writing, Seductive takes place after Possessive which is where Daniel and Addison get their story.

I loved being able to dive into their lives again. Possessive left us on edge about their Daniel and Addison’s future and their story in Seductive really out my mind at ease. These characters are two broken pieces but when put together, they are whole.

I love Willow and her writing and I will always continue to support her and everything she does.

Oh wow! To be back in the world of Addison and Daniel...MMM!

The characters associated with the brothers always seem to be walking on eggshells. I can’t imagine living a life where I’d have to sleep with one eye open. There’s emotional trauma taking place and new light being shed with some unforeseen info that I did not see coming.

The Cross brothers are at a constant war with everyone. The ladies of these men have to be downright committed to a relationship with these men to get through a life filled with peace and happiness. These men are loyal to the bone, but they make a dangerous living. They love so hard and with a fire in their eyes... it’s addicting!

I’m always pulled in with each and every setting. The mystery and suspense sets the mood for each and every novel within this world. It’s a sure way to know that I’m going to drown myself in the book.

More Addison and Daniel? YES PLEASE!

This novella is a continuation of Addison and Daniel from Possessive and it can be read as a standalone, however, I do highly recommend you read Possessive first so you can get a better idea on the couple, what they've been through, what they are going through and their overall personalities.

I adored these two, so to get a glimpse into their life now was such an amazing treat and even though this book is a novella, and on the short side, it doesn't lack for anything. Ms. Winters as always delivers a masterpiece that will have you losing yourself in her words.

Addison and Daniel are anything but perfect... They are so far from perfect. Their relationship starting out with a lie and now only continuing with secrets. It's an emotional read, that will pull on your heartstrings and have your mind and your heart going in every direction all at once. I found myself tearing up a bit throughout this novella... But I expected it. Willow is known to rip readers' hearts out and stomp on them, only to piece them back together achingly slowly.

I love this world that the author has created, it's so easy to lose yourself in as it entwines with more than one other series, and this book was a perfect addition to add to this forever growing dark, intense and unpredictable world. As always, the authors' words flowed with ease and it was extremely well written, with a plot deep enough to drown in... But would I ask for it any other way? HELLO NO!

In questo ultimo libro della serie dedicata ai fratelli Cross, Addison deve fare i conti con tutto ciò che è avvenuto nella sua vita dal momento in cui ha deciso di ritornare a casa con Daniel, i ragazzi che aveva lasciato anni fa adesso sono diventati degli uomini spietati e pericolosi, e questo la fa sentire inadeguata, inoltre aver perso il bambino l'ha fatta entrare in uno stato di depressione da cui non riesce ad emergere, anche se fa di tutto per dimostrare il contrario. Finge continuamente andando sempre più alla deriva e allontanandosi da Daniel, ha paura, vive in costante tensione per ciò che ignora mettendo in dubbio la sua scelta.

Daniel si sente impotente, vorrebbe alleggerire il fardello che si porta dietro Addison ma, anche lui sta male, crede di non poterla rendere felice, di non essere l'uomo giusto per lei, gli si spezza il cuore al solo pensare di perderla per sempre. Cerca di interagire con lei, di farla parlare, di essere sincero e renderla partecipe della vita che conduce da quando è andata via, di trovare una soluzione insieme, anche quella di lasciare i suoi fratelli se questo potesse renderla felice.

“Voglio che indossi il mio anello. Voglio che tu venga a letto con me, che sia di nuovo con me, anche se vuoi sentirti sicura e aspettare per riprovare. Ho bisogno di te, Addison.”

Due protagonisti danneggiati, tormentati, vivono in uno stato di perenne angoscia, Addison ha paura, si sente vulnerabile, non sa quale sia il suo posto, Daniel sa che da quando sono tornati lei non è felice, ma è egoista è non riesce a lasciarla andare. Addison ha solo bisogno di imparare a fidarsi  anche se non sarà facile, visto che la loro storia è iniziata con delle menzogne ed è proseguita con dei segreti, ma ci riuscirà, deve farlo, non si arrenderà finché non sarà di nuovo sua.

Non amo particolarmente la scelta di pubblicare storie dove si rileggono fatti accaduti nei libri precedenti, nonostante ciò, pur conoscendo la storia di Daniel e Addison questa dilogia dedicata a loro ha dato una chiusura ai tormenti dei due protagonisti, scopriremo perché si circondavano di questa aura fatta di disperazione e sensi di colpa, certo mi sarebbe piaciuto leggere qualcosa in più di non letto, ho avuto come la sensazione che mancasse qualche pagina per arrivare alla fine, ma ahimè per quanto mi sforzarsi di sfogliare, le pagine erano comunque finite. 😝😝😝

SEDUCTIVE is an extension of Addison and Daniel's story after POSSESSIVE. That book could be read as a standalone. But after meeting Daniel Cross and Addison Fawn, you are going to want to read more of their story. When I saw the release of the Novella SEDUCTIVE and it was just that, a continuation of their story. Then I started reading and I finished in one sitting.

Addison's first love of a Cross Brother was Daniel's younger brother Tyler. When he was murdered, she ran away from their life. Daniel waited a decent time for her to grieve and live a self-imposed lonely existence. When he was done waiting, he made his move, and brought her back home. She had been forbidden before, but he was “possessive” and it was past time to make her his own. He had been forbidden to her before, but she agreed to go back and in doing so chose him. Their life together would not be easy. Addison knew men like Daniel needed to be loved or the damage would consume them. Their one constant was an everlasting love for each other.

SEDUCTIVE starts with Daniel and Addison once again grieving and heartbroken. This time it is over the loss of their unborn baby. The large Cross family is gathered at the mansion. Two of the family women are with child, and though happy for them, it makes her loss so much more difficult to bare. Since her return, she was shocked to learn that the Cross brothers now rule this merciless world. The power Daniel and his brothers now have comes with violence she'd never seen before.

When she had made the decision to stay, it was with the knowledge that she didn't want to live without him. He was her home. He is her person. Beside him is where she belonged. It might not be easy, but she was determined to do whatever it takes to stay there with him. I hope we hear more of their story and they have the baby they so both want.

Eccoci alla conclusione della breve dilogia sulla coppia della famiglia Cross.
Ammetto che speravo fosse più lungo perché mi ha lasciata con il desiderio di scoprire di più soprattutto per quanto riguarda il passato e la famiglia della protagonista (anche se deduco verranno scoperti negli altri libri).
Mi è piaciuto il fatto che finalmente abbiamo una protagonista realistica che ha dei dubbi e preoccupazioni nei confronti del business della famiglia Cross rispetto alle altre protagoniste dei Dark che sembrano sempre sorvolare sul vero lavoro dei propri partner.
Mi è dispiaciuto un sacco leggere del suo trauma nel libro precedente e in questo avviene un altro avvenimento che la scombussola parecchio ma sono felice che al suo fianco abbia il sostegno e l'amore incondizionato di Daniel e della sua famiglia.
Sicuramente leggerò i libri del resto dei fratelli Cross perché secondo me hanno tutti storie molto interessanti!
Quindi il prossimo da leggere è Merciless di Willow Winters (per chi desidera continuare)!

This is the next part of Daniel and Addison’s story from Possessive - part of the Merciless world. Addison and Daniel are trying to overcome the loss of their baby and their struggle and how they find a way to move forward together is part of their beautiful journey. When Officer Walsh decides to ambush Addison in the grocery store it sends her spinning as he shares information with her that makes him seem to be creepy and a bad guy. Daniel is not happy and wants to deal with it his way but with the information he holds over Jase the Cross Brothers know they need to tread easily. There is pain, understanding, support given freely, and learning to trust and love with all the brothers and their women. This is a quick read where you feel the pain and struggles of Addison and how she realizes what she needs to do to move forward. I look forward to the next story in this series! I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Feels Unfinished

I was hoping this would answer some of the questions I had after reading Possessive but instead this takes the reader into another tragic story line involving Daniel and Addison. Can these two catch a break already? Then it seems like I am going to get the full story about what they do and who these people are but instead it’s merely hinted at and there are more questions I have and then the ending is a bit strange. It’s obvious to get the answers I want, I will have to read Merciless and the rest of the Cross brothers series but I’m not sure I’m interested in Carter’s story. The blurb reads like he is being given a woman to use and abuse but they somehow fall in love? I thankfully got Possessive and Seductive for free because had I bought them, I would have felt ripped off so I am not sure I am ready to shell out money for more books that could be like these…On the other hand I want to know what goes on between Daniel & Addison. We’ll see.

Very emotional....

This is an extension of Daniel and Addison's story. I would recommend that you read Possessive first.

I was more than thrilled to pick up on Daniel and Addison's lives as I was left wondering about what happened with these two after reading Possessive. Although a short novella, Willow Winters has jampacked a lot of emotions into it. Addison is so in love with Daniel that she makes the decision to return to the darkness that is his life with his brothers, the Cross Brothers. She knows that when she returns, it is to the ruthless and dangerous lifestyle that goes hand in hand with Daniel. She still does not feel that she fits in with this family, but she does want to be a part of a family unit. She knows that Daniel would die to protect her and his love for her is what draws her back to an unsure future.

A Must Read Cross World novella

A follow-up novella to the book 'Possessive', this book picks up Daniel's and Addison's story.

This novella is a must read in the Cross World, and it's much more than a extended epilogue. A few more layers of the Cross World are unpeeled in this book. A new connection is revealed and an old connection is casting a shadow. We also find that Daniel and Addison are at a romantic crossroad, it's all so suspenseful and intriguing.

I really enjoy reading this series of books W Winters has written, and this one is definitely another important piece in the jigsaw. I would definitely recommend this novella to contemporary romance readers and lovers of suspenseful books.
