From the moment I finished MANHATTAN STORM, i was desperate for Lachlan Fierro’s story, and the moment it landed on my kindle, I jumped straight in.
MANHATTAN SECRET is a forbidden love/teacher-student/older woman-younger man story and it pretty much had everything I love about that whole taboo romance genre. Lachie is a force to be reckoned with. He may be young, but he knows his own mind and when he sets his sights on Delaney, we all know there’s no getting away.
I absolutely adore those Fierro cubs, but you know what? Their parents Noah and Sena have the most intense love for each other, they truly are couple goals...and I really have to go back and read their books and find out how their story began.
V Theia is such a brilliant author, I’ve completely fallen in love with her words and characters and can’t recommend these books highly enough. I always thought that Theo would be the one to own my heart, but his brother was determined to swoop in there and take his crown!

There are just certain authors that everyone has that gives them a flutter of excitement when a new book comes out. This is one of those authors for me. I know going into any book of hers that I am going to get a ride of a lifetime. With every book, I tell myself that she cannot get any better. Except, every time she manages to up her game and knock me on my derrière. EVERY. TIME. She is able to do this because her characters are real. Even when they are arrogant or the story has taboo elements, there is something about that makes me fall in love. This was especially true about the characters in this book and the subject matter.

I enjoyed the tabooness of this story. The author did a great job of making sure that it wasn't creepy. It helped build the idea of this story as being perfectly okay because this truly was a once in a lifetime love. Just like his parents and his brother, Lachlan LOVES with every ounce of his being. He knows what he wants and he goes after it. Delaney didn't stand a chance. I liked a certain scene in particular, without giving any spoilers, where she explained this too. I had to laugh when I discovered that the person that she was talking to already knew but wanted to feel out her response to gauge how serious Laney was about Lachlan. That was literary gold.

I won't give away much with the story other than to say that everyone needs to read about this family. Even though this is technically a standalone book I would recommend starting at the beginning because Noah and Sena are life. It also helps explain how these kids love the way that they do. I will say, however, that Lachlan has one of the dirtiest talking mouths that I have read and THAT says something with how much I read. His confidence was hotter than fire and boy did he not only talk the talk but he walked the walk. Laney was a lucky girl.

As always with this author, she manages to give a little peek at the characters from previous books, or the first generation of characters that paved the way for these characters to be here, and reminds me why I fell in love with this family to begin with. All of these characters have become real in my mind. If I close my eyes, I can see them. I can hear them, and I can laugh or even hurt when they did.

Highly recommend anything by this author and in particular this book.

I am in a state of euphoria right now after finishing Manhattan Secret!

Lachlan Fierro, be still my heart.
The boy is young, but he was every inch the alpha take charge gets what he wants man.
I adored every word out of his mouth!
He's ultra smart, heading to MIT because he wants to be in the FBI.
He's a hacker, and he does it for a price and when he sees Delaney he knows what he wants and boy, does he get what he wants!!
The poor teacher didn't stand a chance.
I've read countless teacher/student stories.
Most are with the male being the older teacher.
This was not the case here. But it starts before the even know who each other is.
HOT AND DELICIOUS. I swear, this author writes frissons and chemistry and dirty dirty goodness like no other. I almost had to fan my face a few times.
The things to come out of Lachlan's mouth would make a whore blush.
I loved his assertiveness and his assurance in what he wanted and he helped his Laney to get to that point too, to realize their love wasn't wrong or seedy. It was far from cringy either.
It's a love story with an age difference with questionable morals but the love makes it all worth while.
Funny moments.
Delicious moments.
Heart hurting moments.

I love that this author twists it up, not only with the H/h being age gap, but that it's the heroine in this book ( and in the last one. Manhattan Storm ) who do the groveling, who fix their mistakes and work hard to get her man.

Simply scrumptious and I could read Lachlan Fierro all over again.
It's a standalone, but to better appreciate those amazing Fierro clan, read TABOO LOVE DUET ( for their parents. ADOPT ME!!!! ) And then Theo the older brother in Manhattan Storm.
You bloody won't regret it.
This story will stay with me forever.

I need to stop with my “ oh wow this Fierro is my favorite one ever.” Why? Cuz this author makes me so damn indecisive every damn time a new book comes out! I thought the last Fierro was gonna be hands down my favorite but then Lachlan came around and BOOM new favorite.

I was ready for this to be kind of cliche and kind of creepy but I LOVED IT. There was absolutely nothing creepy or wrong about this love. This is one in a life time love and gosh do I need to hit the nearest school and find a hot teacher to love.

The author, our beautiful, kind author, is a damn mastermind when it comes to love stories that are out of this world. Each new book just makes my heart do a happy dance.
The author takes the most simple words and turn them into the most wonderful sentences.

I don’t even know where to begin with this book...I just finished it a few hours ago and my mind is blown away. So, this review is going to be all over the place, which is how my mind is after reading this amazing story.

Delaney and Lachlan met in a bar and discovered later than she is his teacher and 7 years his senior. Laney is conflicted because she wants Lachie, but she is afraid to lose her job, and knew dating a student is breaking the code of conduct. But Lachie is a Fierro and we know they always get what they want--Lachlan wanted Laney so it was a lost cause for her.

Forbidden Love--Lachlan and Delaney are a match made in heaven. This book was everything from the very first page--keeping my attention until 4 in the morning. Of course, I knew the book would be amazing...duh V. Theia is the author. However, I was not prepared for the rollercoaster ride that was Manhattan Secret. This book will have you all up in your feelings...you will laugh, you will cry…sometimes at the same time. In true V fashion, she placed some “sprinkles” in the book for us to follow...Yess!! These two characters are not ones you will soon forget. That is one of the things I like about the author, she writes unforgettable characters. The chemistry between Lachlan and Delaney was magical pure fire--right from the start they heated up the pages. Again, no one writes characters like V. Theia.

I knew I would love Lachlan, but not love love love him. Well first, he is Sena and Noah’s son (Sena and Noah are one of my favorite couples--ever). He is all Alpha like his daddy. He is cocky, protective, confident, dominant, strong, love as hard as his father--and he gets the girl. I would like to know where I can find an 18-yr old like Lachie, no way an 18-yr. old should have that much swagger--his naughty mouth though...

Delaney is everything I like in a heroine, and it was great to follow her through her journey of being the little “mouse” to the fierce women that she has become--one that knows who she wants and isn’t afraid to go get her man back.

Manhattan Secret had it all, it kept my attention from the very first page and I didn’t want the book to end, the character development was amazing (specifically Lanie), at times the book was laugh out loud funny, entertaining, and the story wrapped up pretty well in a nice little bow--the epilogue was everything just seeing all the characters in the future...God I love this author.

5 MY FEELINGS ARE A MESS OF FIERRO LOVE STARS!!!!

There are no words in this world that can describe the greatness of Manhattan Secret, Seriously! This book completely blew my mind and filled my heart to the BRIM with love.
I didn't think I could love more than I did Noah Fierro ( Taboo Love Duet ) and then along came Theo Fierro ( Manhattan Storm ) I never in a million years thought I'd be all gooey over Lachlan, although he was badass in his brother's book. Teacher/Student is hit and miss for me because most authors make it slightly perverted and wrong so I can't enjoy it.
NOT THE CASE HERE! It was EVERYTHING you want in a romance.
Just because Lachie is younger, didn't mean he didn't know what he wanted or wasn't mature enough to handle that kind of love or Laney's inner struggles.

Oh, Laney struggled with her attraction and love of this guy and I felt every palpable emotion she was feeling.
The author did amazing with the heroine.
Heroines don't ever get enough praise, but I'm standing up for her right now.
She made mistakes and she FIXED them.
That was my all time favorite part.

“Have either of you slept with my boyfriend?”

I love a girl who isn't afraid to grovel for the one she loves when she knows she's fucked up and needs to fix it.
In those chapters, Laney and Lachlan were epic. A true favorite couple.

Brilliant side characters, funny lines, hot lines, chapters I gulped and read more than once just to have those feel good feelings again.
I want to live in a world where the Fierro's exist!!!!
Knowing that Lachlan was happy when we saw him in Theo's book makes me appreciate that book all the more too.
Author queen did amazing with a taboo trope, she flew these two to the moon and back.

I’m not truly sure where to start with how phenomenal this story is. The story of Lachlan and Delaney will have you feeling all the emotions. I don’t think I really mentally prepared myself for how fantastic this story is. I literally could feel in my heart and soul everything these two characters were feeling and conveying to me. I unequivocally fell in love with them. One of my favorite tropes is forbidden love and this story brought it in spades. Lachlan and Delaney meet and discover she is his teacher, which we know is totally forbidden. But this story is a about a Fierro and they will stop at nothing to get what they want. But Laney is hesitant. She doesn’t want to lose her job, but she is deeply attracted to Lachie. Can Lachlan convince her that what they have is real? He is all alpha male and his words will literally make you melt. And kudos to this author for putting so many “sprinkles” throughout this book. Absolutely mind blowing! I really believe this story deserves a quadrillion stars, not just five. It’s just that incredible! Don’t hesitate, read this brilliant story, you will love it just as much as I do!

Where do I even start? I want to make this review so spectacular that everyone will want to meet Lachlan Fierro, but my words aren't my skills. I loved this confident, go after what he wants and take no prisoners man/boy. You can certainly tell he is the cocky cub of a Lion and a Kitten. He sees his woman and NOTHING will stop him from having her. His devotion to Laney was special to watch unfold. The love was powerful.

Do not let this trope fool you into thinking this is a super forbidden romance. I cannot tell you what it is, but I can tell you it is NO Mary Kay Letourneau where an adult teacher takes advantage of a very young student. It just doesn't go down that way. It does have elements of the forbidden, some secrets, hence the name Manhattan Secret, but it is a true love story.

This author has never let me down. I buy all her books and wait impatiently for the new releases. This is from her Manhattan World and while it is a complete stand alone, the experience will be richer if you know all the players. So start at the beginning or jump into the middle.... BUT.... jump! I highly recommend this book!

Can someone please tell me how and where to meet someone like these Fierros.
They love hard and long.

I didnt think Id love Lachie as much as I do. He protective of what and who is his. Loyality is huge for him. Means everything.

Mouse is adorabs. Her move to Manhatton was unusual for her, something not safe, But The way Laughlin took over.... damn. Just damn.

Looking forward to seeing if the next Fierro child knocks Laughlin outta being my fav.
Cos shockingly, Lachie did that to Theo.

This book gave me the feels on so many levels it’s difficult to count. Firstly, the hero of the book is the offspring of one of my favorite book couple of all times and we get to see my beloved Lion and his kitten (Noah and Sena from the book ‘It was love’) a fact that made my heart thump many a happy beat. Secondly, Lachlan is so much like his dad, the only difference is that his tenderness and care is hidden behind aggressiveness and lastly because it’s one of my favorite tropes - that of forbidden love and how people overcome their inhibitions to safeguard what they desire and love.
Lachlan Fierro is a prodigal genius, old beyond his years, who knows what he wants and doesn’t let anything or anyone stand in his way. He is a warrior and there is no boundary or limit he won’t cross when it comes to love. He is proud, loyal to a fault, he will do anything for his friends and loved ones and he expects the same in return, he is exacting in the standards he sets, once he crosses you off there is no going back on his friend list. Don’t cross this bad boy!
Lachlan meets Delaney in a bar and from the moment he sees her he knows that he wants her and they go on to have a hotter than words, burn your kindle, sex in the bar bathroom stalls, not knowing she is his high school teacher and seven years older than him.
Delaney starts off as a timid follow the rules to a ‘t’ and never color out of the lines character. When she finds out the Uber hot guy she had atomic sex with in a bathroom stall is her student - it’s all the more devastating to her. This girl has never even paid a bill late so imagine her dilemma when she is fiercely and uncontrollably attracted to this gorgeous alpha. Lachlan is a Fierro and once he decides what or who he wants everything else is just noise. He pursues her relentlessly and she seesaws back and forth throughout. She wants him and loves him but her personality is that of a conformist.
The theme here is that love is something that pulverizes you with its impact and right or wrong, forbidden or allowed, age difference, are all concepts that melt in the heat generated by the connection.
For me the book was as much about Delaney’s journey from a shy and timid ‘mouse’ to a fierce cougar, who learns to claim what she wants and roars fiercely to win back her lover. To see her metamorphosis was enthralling and she made me feel everything from frustration at her inability to decide one way or the other to her going balls out to get her love.
The epilogue was everything.... and the Easter eggs for the authors loyal readers were so yummy!!!
I just loved this book and it made me feel so much from frustration to tenderness to breathless heat!!! V Theia is such a talented writer who writes characters that live with you long after you have finished the book - you can’t help it you just have to go back again and again to revisit them.

I don't even know where to start right now!!! I have given myself a good few days to write this is there are just so many emotions swirling around in my brain right now, so if I go off on a tangent I'm sorry in advance!
Ok, so Vic is one of those authors that I know I am going to enjoy her words and yet somehow every time she writes a new story I am just completely blown away. She knows how to give you exactly what you need without even knowing that you needed it and Lachlan and Delaney are no exception to that. If there was a way to give this book more than 5 stars then I would. If you've read the blurb then you've read the disclaimer about this being a younger man and older woman and while most people would be reluctant I can say with my whole heart that there is nothing sleazy feeling about this at all. At no point does Vic make you feel like a slimy old lady (even if I am 31) but instead makes you truly believe that age is just a number and that when you meet the one nothing stands in your way! I can also tell you that if I found a man-child like Lachlan then I would proudly wear a badge that said "Cougar" on it because that boy gives me all the chills and feels.
While I'm sure you've got the just of the boy I will not give it all away but I will tell you to go into his book with a open heart and open mind, and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I did.
Lachlan is exactly what you would expect from these amazing Manhattan alpha men and his father is Noah, so you know that Lachlan will have you on the edge of your seat with anticipation and entertainment. Delaney is such a spunky, sassy character who you literally can't help but love and completely relate to, she kept me on my toes too and while I usually am not all that interested in the female leads she definitely had me excited and entertained. I felt like I knew Delany, like she was one of the squad and I could feel her frustration and excitement.
There is everything you need all this book, the emotions range from laughing to crying to having to fan my face because daaaaaaaaamn, can this girl write some sexy scenes and I know that I will defiantly be re-reading this book again soon because Lachlan might just be my favourite Fierro of all the kids.
This is my honest and unbiased review.

All the prince of Manhattan Stars

Just when you think you know it all about age gap and teacher student romances, here comes Lachlan and Delaney to make me fall in love all over again with these tropes. Delaney is older than Lachlan which I loved! There's something about a younger hero but who is mature and confident and he gets shit done that just does it for me. Lachlan is everything and a bag of crisps!

Those Fierro's are my all time favorite family, there, I said it.
I got all mushy seeing Noah and Sena again, they are terrific parents and added a lot to the overall building of this epic romance.
And EPIC it was.
My heart was so joyously full reading how Lachlan fell for his teacher and all the consequent issues that kind of love would bring.

It wasn't weird or gross in the slightest and I was addicted to every page, dying to know what happened next.
I've always loved when Theia adds secondary characters, mainly because it makes me want their story. It's no exception here. Ethan was a hoot. So is Kian. And I loved Delaney's girl squad, some of my fave scenes were the girls texting each other. They're my kind of friends for sure.

Another smash hit, I fangirled hard over Lachlan. Just like his brother before him, he rules the school, but not in a bully kind of way, he's a sweet boy, but never cross him! His paybacks, not gonna lie, I was a little turned on!
If you love consuming, addictive all delicious sexiness in your romances with two characters you can't help but fall for, then you need this book.

it's a standalone series, but why wouldn't you read Theo first! And you'll definitely want to know more about Noah and Sena afterwards.
I loved the sneak peek at Sage's MM book next year.
I have a feeling I know who his guy will be and I can't wait!
More Fierro's please!

Bare with me as I try to pull together the words that describe this book properly. From just about the jump my interest was intrigued. I was interested because I loved Lachlan's parent's love story. So as a fan of the Fierros I couldn't wait to see how he mustard up next to his dad. I know from reading all of V. Theia's books she is one hell of a writer and can draw you into a story as a good author should. But I was completely unprepared for the magic that was Manhattan Secret. The angsty forbidden love troupe is one of my favorites and this book was magic. I could go into more details and just gush over the book but I will save both you and myself some time and just say this get this book.

Where do I start with this book. Lachie is a man who knows what he wants and it just so happens to be Delaney. He is very much like his father in that respect.

Loyalty oozes through Lachlan who you go against his loyalty hell hath no fury...

This couple is pure fire as Lachlan describes them and boy yes they are.

You will laugh, you will cry and there will be a few surprises. As always with V’s books, you will not be disappointed I am now awaiting the next Manhattan book because I am a greedy lady the boys will always have a place in my heart.

Lachlan Fierro, I think you beat your big brother Theo in dirty talking. Lachlan has the dirtiest mouth. When he loves, he loves hard. When he trust you, he will be your protector. But if the trust is broken, it's broken forever. No forgivness. Lachlan is intense. He is ruthless, cocky, confident, protective, determined, hot and a genius. His love for Laney made him a little reckless. Delaney stood no chance, and If I'm being honest, neither did I. Laney was older, but Lachie was very mature. Laney is the perfect heroine. She really grew as a character. From a little mouse, she became stronger, more fierce.

I loved their story. I loved how real everything was. How realistic the author made their love story. Lachlan and Laney's love is forbidden. They are not supposed to love each other. But they do. Nothing about their journey is easy. They both have to fight for their love, for each other. It wasn't enough for one of them to fight, they both needed to prove their love. This story brought up the hardships their type of romance could create. I loved that Sena was supportive, but still wanted to protect her little cub. But most of all. I loved that the author gave us another unforgettable love story. Their story was so intense. I could not stop reading. And the epilogue. It gave me all the feels. It was perfect for them. For their family. For their story. For their love.

P.S. Laney you lucky girl!!

There's some authors I digitally stalk online because I just can't wait to get another of their books in my life. This is such author. I've adored every Fierro we've had so far. In fact, noah and sena are a frequent re read for me. I love that the author tackles subjects that might be shied away from, but trust me readers, there's nothing cringy in this teacher student romance. I promise!!!
Every book I'm sure it can't get any better, but it does and Lachlan knocked my heart for six.
I WAS NOT PREPARED FOR THIS MAN AT ALL!
He should come with a health warning - WILL MAKE YOU GUSH!
I loved that he was younger but he was mature af and did all the chasing. the chasing was GLORIOUS.
I have to mention the bathroom scene because boy done his girl right! I would have been outside that door listening too like Sandy was.
Can I have Ethan's book? and Kians? And Thatcher's? I was sooooo happy to see the sprinkling of series goodies throughout. V. Theia is good at doing that for the hardcore fans to get a kick out of but it doesn't take away from new readers enjoying too.
All i can say, amid my gushing is amazing and brilliant.
When you need a Fierro to go after something.... call lachlan, he's the man for the job!
and now he owns me.

She's outdone herself!🌟

To put it quite simply I love V. Theia's work. All of it. Now with that said I say also as a lover of a good story that includes laughter, heat and heart this love story has it ALL!! Lachlan Fierro is a powerhouse of a man. The love and passion he brings out of Delaney and shows her in return will heat your insides, warm your heart and bring you to tears with the purity and realness of it all. I just finished it and I'm ready to dive back into their love story again! I think that's the equivalent of an astronomical amount of well deserved stars!!🌠

4.5 rounded up to 5 stars! This book was good. It had a similar vibe to Lessons in corruption by Giana Darling. It's 4.5 and not 5 stars because I needed more at times. The H was badass, but why? He just grew up that way? Idk. The push and pull between the H and h was tedious and drug out, but overall it was a hea.

I fall in love with this romantic story every time I re-read them which is about 6 times since last summer. I wish they had a full series, I just love Lachie's assertiveness and Laney's ability to take a chance on something she thinks might fail and then fights for their love. I love how it's alllll about the romance and not shining a light on their age difference. Lachlan is hands down one of my favorite alpha, possessive heroes. I love how he talks to her.
A must read!!!

It’s never been about intimidation after all.
The leader of the wolf pack wanting to excerpt his dominance over the lowly teacher.

These Fierros are addictive reading! I always anticipated a new Theia book and I wanted my greedy hands on Lachlan so badly after meeting him in Theo's story ( which I flipped out over too )

I love the message that love doesn't come easy and it sometimes comes at the wrong time, a time to test morals and strength but love comes when it needs to.

I love that by the last page, these two are still so obsessed and committed to each other.
There's nothing I love more than a good epi and the author mady delivers in spades.
It's that last little piece of happiness before the obok finishes and leaves me deplete but satisfied.
I love that the epi also takes place at the same event ( it was featured in Theo Fierro's book too )
I loved this book, through frustrated moments and heartfelt moments and so much heat to burn your eyebrows off, it left me wholly in love with Lachlan Fierro and the whole Fierro clan.
Can't wait for more!

The old adage age is just a number could never be more correct.. This book Manhattan Secrets by V. Theia is absolutely fantastic. In it we meet Lachlan, man-boy extraordinaire. Never have I ever been so turned on by an 18 year old. He is all that with a cherry on top. The man-boy knows what he wants and it is refreshing to see someone that young with such a good head on his shoulders. He meets the woman of his dreams at a nightclub and they have a hot and heavy one night bathroom stall stand! Delaney is completely and totally taken by him, she has no idea how young he is because there is nothing boyish about him except the YOB on his driver’s license. Imagine her shock and surprise when she walks into class and he’s one of her senior students!! Ladies and gentlemen cue the fireworks! From this point on Lachlan is a man on a mission, he knows what he wants and he’s not about to let anyone or anything stand in his way. He pursues Delaney with a single minded intensity that has you turning the pages faster than you thought possible. Once I started this book I could not put it down. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Stars aren't even close to enough.

This book can’t be described in words, there is just not enough time. This book makes you feel everything that these two are feeling, it is the best feelings but also sad feelings because there is no love story without some hard times thrown in there. If you are worried about the teacher/student part don’t be. That is a small part of this epic love. It isn’t weird because it’s written so amazingly well that, that will be the last thing on your mind, you will be consumed with this book and not want to stop until you see how this book turns out, you might want to read this on a weekend because it is definitely a binge worthy book!

This was a hot naughty forbidden read about Lachlan and Lanie. Loved their interaction and banter. The sexy times were super hot and so deliciously naughty. I couldn't stop reading until I finished this wonderful sexy beautiful love story. This was a great addition to this awesome series and I can't wait to read more by V. Theia.

I loved Lachlan Fierro! These Fierro men certainly know how to go after what they want! Laney drove me a little crazy with her always being scared but I loved her when she finally makes her decision!

Manhattan Secret, Lachlan and Delaney, is enthralling. I didn't want to put this book down. This is an older woman/younger man story which is not usually my style, however Lachlan and Delaney are amazing. The chemistry, the struggles, the mistakes and the ending....Lachlan might be Sena and Noah's child, however you wouldn't know how young he was based on this story. You get to see Noah and Sena again and catch up with them 20 years later!
I can't wait for more stories by Ms. Theia!

Manhattan Secret is as incredible as all the From Manhattan series by the author have been.

The story is one that deals with a taboo subject, but the author makes Manhattan Secret so much more than that. It’s about the one thing I think everyone hopes for - finding that one person you may get to fall in love with who is your soulmate. And, like in life, you never know just where and when that person will enter your life.

That’s certainly true for Delaney and her vulnerability and amazement to find herself in a situation she could never have foreseen is what made me love her. She’s the very definition of good girl. Yes she’s not infallible but no one is and this is something the author creates with her characters in all of the novels - every single character is so vivid, so real that as a reader? You are there with them every step of the way and you are left feeling when the story ends that you know these characters as well as you do your friends.

To me it is a rare talent and it’s what I love when reading a new story by the author.

But back to the two with a Secret.

As with all members of the Fierro family, Lachlan is used to the philosophy of ‘If I want something, then it will be mine’ and Delaney is something or rather, someone he wants.

No matter what.

I loved how determined and fierce he is in his love for her, he doesn’t for one moment waver over everything that in truth he should. This to me is what makes the balance between our two lovers work so well, that whilst he is solely focused on his love for her? Delaney has perhaps the maturity to see the wider picture, even if she doesn’t want to.

V. Theia has done it again! I didn’t think I would love this boy as much as I do. Lachie is confident, loyal, protective of the people he loves and super smart. He sees Delaney and all bets are off. After the bar scene, I went into full cougar mode! Delaney is a good girl, timid and stays in her comfort zone. She surprised herself by moving to Manhattan for a teaching job. She is beyond devastated when she finds out the guy she had hot sex with in a bathroom stall is her student.

“I’m a man, I was a man when I was railing you hard. That’s the only time you get to call me a boy, Delaney.”

Lachlan knows right away that Delaney is “the one” for him. Delaney goes back and forth with her feelings on Lachlan. At the end of the semester, Lachie is leaving for MIT. Delaney believes she would only hold him back from experiencing college life. As Lachie is getting ready to leave for MIT Delaney breaks up with him. This starts Delaney’s journey from a timid mouse to a roaring cougar. I loved watching her claim Lachie.

" Admit you want me." " Goddammit, Lachlan"... "Say it Laney. Just for me. Just for you. Admit you feel it too."

I loved the epilogue! The brothers Fierro always trying to one-up each other. I absolutely loved visiting again with Sena and Noah aka Kitten and Lion.

What a great gave me all the feels story written by my favorite author. V. Theia is a talented writer. Her words and the characters she creates stay with me long after I’ve finished the book. If you haven’t read any of her books you are missing out.

You can’t put this book down. At all! I loved every single second of it, because just like all of the other reads I’ve had from V. Theia, they have been amazingly wonderful.

Lachlan and Laney are just super adorable from the minute you meet them. Their chemistry is off the charts and sex appeal is just as delicious. Let me tell you, Lachlan has a mouth on him!! ;-) We know already that the love they share would be frowned upon because of Laney being his teacher, but that will not stop a determined Fierro! Thankfully V Theia is a HEA author, so I wasn’t too worried we wouldn’t get that happy ending. But she HAD to drag our emotions through the gutter because we couldn’t stand Lachlan and Laney being apart. Not a single bit. I loved every single second of this book, and can’t wait to do my second read just to experience it all again!

Other reads? Not necessary for this book, but why would you not? I would recommend starting at the beginning of the Fierro clan, but it’s not a do or die situation, and I do believe you will regret it if you don’t. I simply cannot wait for the next installment of this family.

If Theo Fierro didn't know your socks off, Lachlan Fierro definitely will! We meet Lachlan when he's a cocky 18-year-old high school senior well on his way to becoming an FBI hacker extraordinaire and Laney, the older woman who falls hard and fast. The way they meet is comical and hot all at the same time...and their story only gets hotter and better. Lachlan is an alpha to every extent but he also treats Laney like she's worth all the gold, jewels, and money in the world put together. When it's time to face reality of adulthood, Laney does what she thinks is best for Lachlan, only to have it ultimately blow up in everyone's faces. You'll have to read it to see what happens...and trust me, you WANT to see what happens! There is nothing like the Fierro family, and we get a little bit more of a glimpse into the backstory of Mama and Papa Fierro, which is also absolutely swoon-worthy. The author has done such a fantastic job creating the main characters of this story and intertwining them with the characters from other series, and the realness of her writing, the fact that you can really relate to her characters, is one of my favorite things about reading a V. Theia novel. Honestly...this deserves way more than 5 stars. Go! Read this book! Fall in love with a Fierro TODAY!

Holy Hell and Hot Damn this book was AMAZING! This book is more than just an older woman/younger man, forbidden romance teacher/student instant chemistry read. Yes it is all of those but right from page one you are drawn in and captivated by the story. The character are rich and charismatic. And the writing is totally engrossing. You are so invested in the words that you totally forget to breathe. I knew I'd enjoy this book going in but I was blown away with how invested I became with Lachlan & Delaney. Their chemistry was off the charts HOT but their love was epic. I struggled with how to write a review that could convey how much I loved this book, how much everyone else would love this, how convinced I am that everyone must read this book. I promise that no one will regret reading this story. Another great book from V. Theia.
