"It's a miracle we've found love in a political marriage, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna let you put it in!"
Two alpha husbands, in a world where anyone can get pregnant. Marriages between those of the same type are common in order to prevent bloodlines getting too mixed up, but even among alphas, there's still someone who is top dog. And where there's a top, there's a bottom...
The venerable Tachigami family is at risk of bankruptcy and falling apart, but are saved by marriage talks with the newly-risen Isaka family. The Tachigamis want support, and the Isakas want the power in a name...
For better or worse, Takaomi and Kazumasa are to be wed. And how lucky they are, because love blossoms between the two of them. Just as you would think everything is going great, though, it's back to the unforgettable problem... They both like to be on top! Cheer on as two alphas who love each other fight for bedroom supremacy in this cute and comical Omegaverse Project BL.
It seemed like a lot of thought went into the set up of the world with all the background information we get in the beginning but the storytelling is not very good. I was looking forward to them figuring out the struggle they faced, but with third parties butting into it, jealousy, etc. the focus shifted away from them too much. They do like each other and want to make it work but they don't really get the chance to solve their problem together as a married couple.
1) It tells us a story about a domestic omegaverse newly married life ((—which is RARE!)), their struggle: that is not far from the topic of offspring and sex roles as an alpha x alpha male couple. I LOVE the extra chapter so much. Both of them are selfless though they were both alpha. Give and take in equalness is mmmh—
2) The foreshadowing of pregnant!Takaomi is everything! I already want a sequel.
3) I don't like the mother's method but with the ending and overall aspects it's still really fun to read!
4) Super pretty artwork! Kazu's hair was ✨ glorious and fabulous ✨ He's tailored to my taste 🤤 Character-design-wise he's so so so perfect 🤤
6) Also, the pace not too fast or slow, it's just right!
7) Sensei really took her time to draw the sex-scenes. It was super hot and spicy with an additional sprinkle of spices 🥵🌶🔥
8) Sensei doesn't use pov, style, or poses that is commonly used in some standard smut ((—did it even have a standard lol i'm actually raving sorry but i know you get my point!)). So even though the smut is long long long, it's not boring at all! 😊
Talk about a mix of all the good stuff. Hilarious, different, erotic, entertaining, everything. So far the stories I've been reading from TOP season 4 are pretty unique in the omegaverse franchise. Juliet no Baka with pairs straight from the beginning, Kekkonshite Kudasai with all of it's craaaziness (secret love child + amnesia + hilarious and wacky messed up drama craziness), and now this: two alphas married from the start.
Kazumasa, an alpha (tanned asf probs cuz he works outside (?) but hand clap anyways) whose family's business is about to go bust but Kazumasa takes one for the team (involuntarily) and is now married into the Isaka family - to an alpha named Takaomi. Even though Kazumasa now holds the Izaka's name, both men are hardcore alpha types and aren't willing to bend down and be the bottom in the relationship. What I love about their dynamic is although they married due to merely family obligations, they hit it off right from the beginning and they both truly care and love each other.
Except both are stubborn and aren't willing to compromise and be the bottom. Something has to give because it's going no where and the condition Kazamasa had with the Isaka family to marry their son is to give them a heir. If anything, the marriage is more like a contract as far as the Isaka family goes.
Kazumasa originally sees a sex counselor (unbeknownst to Takaomi) to increase his chances of being the top but well, let's just say he got the opposite of that. The counselor by the way is a fantastic character who deserves his own story (hnnnnfff, prays that happens in season 5).
Kazumasa and Takaomi goes through miscommunication and arguments and the typical married couple hurdles, but at the end of the day, they always got each other's back. They also have incredible support from their own family members for whenever they face a wall due to their marriage.
The art is absolutely amazing. A-fucking-mazing.
Hilarious, great story, and I actually have nothing bad to say about it. It was great!
While this had a great concept - two Alpha's who found love in a political match, trying to overcome their emotional/physical hangups - the execution left a lot to be desired. There was a lot of sexism towards women, a lot of unnecessary "sound" notions on EVERY panel, that really ruined the illustrations. The illustrations themselves were good and fitted the Yaoi genre and the style of the story, but the constant use of sounds meant that you could hardly make out what was going on in some of the smaller panels because it was so clogged and crowded. I also didn't like the hands-on therapist character or his role, or the mother's interference. Overall, the concept was the best part.
3.5 stars, mostly because I like the 2 main characters and their relationship a lot (also, SPOILER, fair warning that this is the first manga I've read with a child produced at the end from actual mpreg), but I had to take off a star because the climax of the story had a non-con element to it that really bugged me. The biggest shocker is that it wasn't the fault of either of the 2 main characters, but was instead that of one of the main characters' moms! She basically sneaks something into a visiting omega's tea to make him go off his suppressants, which causes her alpha son to immediately go into "heat", which, as all readers of a/b/o fic know, can be disastrous if they are in a room together, and she did it all to get her son-in-law to hurry up and have actual, proper sex with her son. I know that things turned out fine and the whole book was about the main couple wanting to have sex with each other, so the sex itself was pretty much consensual, and the mom explains to the omega afterward that she was monitoring the situation so it wouldn't have gotten out of hand and he wouldn't have actually been harmed, and he's not mad about it or anything (although her son was appropriately angry and explained to her why what she did was wrong), buuuuut it still bothered me. In terms of yaoi, though, it could have been much worse than slight non-con resulting from the actions of supporting characters, I suppose.
I also felt that for all the explanations the author provided at the beginning about their version of the a/b/o world and how it works, we still didn't get enough relevant information. There are charts about how society works in terms of class, marriage, etc., but considering that the 2 main characters are both alphas who can get pregnant, they could have just focused on briefly explaining the world in those terms instead (you can glean the rest of it from things that happen in the story) and left the rest of the intro pages to providing background about the 2 actual families that are involved in this arranged marriage, since we finish the story still barely knowing anything about their histories.

- art is gorgeous, very detailed. - their first ‘night’, the way both were so disgusted, was funny and relatable as both are alphas. - their continuous failed attempt at sex hahaha omg their disappointment. - Kazumasa seeing a sex counsellor and realizing he was a total bottom was superb! - Takaomi is all blushing after sending Kazumasa flowers, so cute! - Takaomi’s mom pushing for a grandchild was not cool or cute. And when she gets involved with the sex counsellor, trying to know more about the situation is over the top. - She should be in jail for drugging the omega counsellor against his will and putting him and her own son in danger. She’s a fucking bitc,h and no sad story can overcome her doing this. - Takaomi is a gentle soul who is living under the pressure of his mother’s expectations and request for grandchildren. She pushed him into marriage and put his life in danger when she decided to drug the counsellor. Kazumasa is a bit wild, more open with his feelings and thoughts. He’s also more direct. - The mom ended up with a sad story, and the omega counsellor didn’t seem worried about being drugged, but still, WTF. That was her own child put in a place he didn’t want to be. - The ending with the child, omg how effing cute!
Honestly, I didn't understand what was their problem. LMAO. Now that I read the summary, apparently, they are both Alphas. I mean I know they are when I was reading it but didn't understand why they are together and why the parent of the white haired one wants heir. When my understanding of omegaverse is that they can only reproduce if Alpha x Omega. Not Alpha x Alpha.
In any case, they are cute tho. Since they are both Alphas, naturally, they are the top (in both sense). So the problem is both of them want to top each other. No one wanted to bottom. LOL. I had fun reading them anyway.
This is an odd series. Both lead characters are male alphas, which causes some clashing when it comes to the bedroom. Other than that however, they appear to get along well and truly care about each other. One tends to go more with the momentum of the moment, getting him into some rather odd situations, while the other is more analytical and tends to internalize a lot. Through a lot of trial and error, and a little bit of meddling, they do ultimately figure out how they want to come together themselves to be happy in their marriage.

3.5* Une lecture sexy (tous les personnages sont canon ^^; ) et avec un fond intéressant. J’ai l’impression que les BL omegaverse soulèvent des questions ou traitent de thèmes peu conventionnels ce qui les rend plus intéressants...
This is a cute story. I loved the fact that even tho it was arranged they still worked hard. Also omega verse with double alpha is so awsome. The idea that in this particular one both male alphas can carry a child. I love the art style also. I can't wait to read more by the author.

Un BL entre 2 alfa que es casen per conveniència i que tenen molt interioritzats uns rols de gènere nocius en una parella homosexual... La premissa podria haver donat molt més de si, però s'enreda amb una mare malvada pel mig i perd la gràcia :(
4/5 I love it! The relationship of the main couple is wonderful. They both want to understand and support each other. It's hard to find such a good omegaverse.
