This is the first Simpson comic I’ve ever read and I was surprised with how good the story was, felt just as engaging as a regular episode. Helped that my boyfriend attempted doing all the voices!

Imagine a gust of hot air swept into Springfield and during that lockdown inexplicably a political circus rolled into town. That's the episode. It's a 1996 take on election campaigns, doesn't outright name Clinton or Dole.

The pro-crime, or pro-jail, social security, etc holds true even in 2025.

The secondary story is a kid Homer Simpson short, Home Alone meets food monster Homer.
