Every book I have read by this author I have enjoyed, including this one. Young Widower Brutus decides to move closer to his daughters and their families, Agents for the Pinkerton Agency. He meets Tamara Floyd, and is eventually shocked as to why she looks familiar. She is the daughter of a former friend. Sparks fly and finally secrets are revealed, and what happens at the end is a surprise.

This is a short, but very good and entertaining read. I truly did not want the story to end. This author is definitely in my auto buy rotation.

Brutus Bradford, now widowed, moves to Denver, Colorado, to be closer to his daughters and their families. He meets Tamera Floyd and feels he has seen her before, finally realizing she is the daughter of his old friend-turned-enemy.

Tamera Floyd, a Pinkerton agent, goes to the Denver office, unfairly coerced by her father in his plot to seek revenge on Brutus. In return for money for her life-saving surgery, she will have to lure Brutus back to her father’s Oregon ranch. She doesn’t know why her father hates him so much. And as she gets to know him, will she be willing to endanger Brutus’ life in order to save her own?

This is an intriguing story with good characters and a curious mystery to keep the reader interested. Grab your copy and find out the secrets that have driven Tamera’s father to such cruel lengths to get his revenge!

I really like this series. This one does not go into the life of a Pinkerton agent very much but the relationships are fascinating. This one delves not only into the romantic relationship between Brutus and Tam but also between Tam & both of her parents and Brutus & White Ceaser (Tam's father). Very interesting time period too.

Will there be another Mrs Bradford?

We have met Brutus in the four previous books where his daughters become Agents, he has finally moved to Denver to be with them but his past catches up with him....he struggles to do the right thing, he struggles to even know what the right thing is. Cam Tam thaw his frozen heart?
I am a little sad that this is the last of the Bradfords, but did enjoy the book. I read this on Kindle Unlimited.

I’ve learned to expect the unexpected from Parker J. Cole and this book fulfills that expectation in a good way. Brutus is a familiar character and the plot is worthy of our previous encounters with him and his family. I recommend this book.

Enjoyed this Pinkerton Matchmaker romance with Brutus and Tam. He is much older and she has always been attracted to him but he has never noticed her even thought they have met. There is some suspense along with the romance that will keep you turning the pages.

Brutus

As always intriguing with a couple of blindsided moments. It certainly explained why Ceasar was so mad at Brutus, Celine's rejection of Tam and Tam's obsession with Brutus.

Good

I enjoyed this story. There was a bit of intrigue surrounding the why of Brutus, White Caesar and Roseline. Not much history in this one.

Brutus' daughters (#12, 20, 54, 55) are all Pinkerton agents. He's happy to be around his family after his dear wife's death years ago.
Tam's Father is out for revenge. She's always had a troubled relationship with her Father but he offers to help her only if she brings his enemy back. Meanwhile, Tam has always talked to a picture of Brutus and she grew up having a crush on him. Now, she's got to marry him and drag him back home in order to get help.
This is a clean romance. I didn't like the daughters' stories but this was better than a couple of them. But I didn't really care to learn any more about this family. It just didn't interest me. I realize authors have artistic license but it drives me crazy that it is an agent for BRUTUS, instead of fitting the rest of the series and being an agent for Tam. I also wasn't super thrilled that the story was more about tying up lose ends for Brutus than being an actual case...
