A convenient box set, full of excitement, emotional storylines, and fantastic characters too! You'll want to read this series non-stop from one story to the next to the next, which is why this box set is so convenient!. This was the first paranormal series I ever read, and Elizabeth Kelly is responsible for my present addiction, lol. Here are the reasons why I love these books:
Red Moon
This should be a movie….in my head it already is! Red Moon by Elizabeth Kelly held me captivated and enthralled from beginning to end! Set in a future dystopian world and populated by characters and circumstances pulled from history, the plot held me entranced from the beginning to the last word! It was brilliant! Kelly has created a world where werewolves are aristocrats, humans are slaves, salvaged families thrive, and she has crafted the perfect dynamic for forbidden love, misunderstandings, and prejudices to abound. An added plus is that her love scenes are hot and appropriate and more importantly, not weird. I'm not giving away the story, read the back of the book, but you won't regret even one minute that you spend reading this fantastic story! I didn't. Put this on your reading list and set aside a day because you will not want to put it down! Seriously.
Red Moon Rising
The story continues and gets better and better! Red Moon Rising by Elizabeth Kelly continues this family saga that just keeps getting better. The new characters complement the story and build on the previous brilliance. The action scenes are thrilling, and I have to wonder how many ways there are to kill a faery, and is this a skill that I should be developing right now? I thought the book before this one was incredibly good and it was, is, but this book here makes Kelly's brilliance shine a little brighter. If I could just read about this family and how it survives and evolves, I think I would be okay until the real-world interrupts. This book is very good and if you read Red Moon you simply MUST read this next!
Dark Moon
Too good not to read twice! Sophia and Kaden get their own story finally! In Dark Moon by Elizabeth Kelly, we get to see what happens when two opposing forces get drawn together. The characters from the previous books in the series feature brilliantly in this installment of this intense family drama. Whenever I read the stories in this series, I feel like I am a part of their lives. The action moves quickly, the love scenes are hot, and the added twist of actual crazy people keep you reading with an addictive need to see just what happens next, building emotional tension and feeding your anticipation. You have to read this one!
