The Baby Bet #8

Party of Three

Rate this book
This title is the kick-off of a new follow-up miniseries to "The Baby Bet", to be called "The Baby Bet: The Next Generation". Surrounded by danger, Jessica MacAllister needed hard-boiled cop Lieutenant Dan Quinn, a new father to an orphaned girl. Dan stood by Jessica, for he had seen her fear, her passion, and her love for his little girl.

3.5 stars An easy read for an afternoon or evening. This novel tells the story of two people who carry burdens of self-inflicted guilt who come together and find love. It is part of a series about the McAllister family and I enjoy romance novels that focus on large family groups. There were a few times I wanted to shake the characters, but I have never walked in their shoes. There is a little danger tossed into the story to add to the excitement.

It's a typical lovey dovey story but I enjoyed it. Its a good novel to read over the weekend or vacation.
