A short story (apprx. 10,000 words) in which Angela Hawkins and Jackson Crow are called upon to help a friend in need . . .
Strange baskets are arriving on Eliza Andrews' doorstep and a strange face is appearing in her window. Is she being haunted by ghosts of long ago, or is there someone living and well taunting her with malice and deadly intent? Angela and Jackson must find the truth--and bring about the goodness and peace of the Easter Season.

This is a well-written, entertaining, fast paced short story. Ms. Graham never disappoints her readers! I highly recommend her Krewe series, as well as her romance and suspense novels and short stories.
I have always loved the Krewe Series and always look forward to each new book. This short story features two of my favorite characters from the very beginning, Jackson Crowe and Angela Hawkins. As always, an entertaining read. ;)
The Krewe is together in Virginia looking at all the strange things that are happening. Ghost 👻 are everywhere from back a long time ago to the present. The team helps where and when it can. I would recommend this novella and author to 👍 readers of horror novels 👍🔰. 2023 😀👒👻😡
I have really got into these short stories that feature Angela, Jackson and their family. I am not reading them in order and so know things that have happened but it does not matter because it does not take away from whatever story is being told. I have not read a long form novel yet but feel that I will enjoy them because I have come to like the characters so much.
Angela gets a call from an old familyy friend who is in trouble. Strange baskets are arriving on Eliza Andrews' doorstep and a strange face is appearing in her window. Is she being haunted by ghosts of long ago, or is there someone living and well taunting her withmalice and deadly intent? Angelea and Jackson must find the truth, and bring about the goodness and peace of the Easter season.
These are some very wholesome stories which are being told in the midst of the pandemic, this makes them even better because they are happening in what would have been in real time.
Easter, the Krewe and Another Large White Rabbit is book 32.6 in the Krewe of Hunters series by Heather Graham. Angela and her husband, Jackson Crow, were looking forward to the birth of their second child when Angela received an SOS from a family friend. Angela and Jackson must find out who is tormenting Eliza Andrews. The readers will continue to follow Angela and Jackson to discover what happens.
The Easter, The Krewe and Another Large White Rabbit is an enjoyable short story by Heather Graham. I engaged with the story and the characters from the first page. I enjoy Heather Graham's writing style and how she incorporates paranormal plots in her books. I love Heather Graham's writing style and how characters interact throughout this book. I like Heather Graham's description of the settings of Easter, the Krewe and Another Large White Rabbit that complement the book's plot.
I normally really like Heather Graham's Kreme of Hunters books, but these short stories are horrendous. Let's start with the fact that the writing is rushed and editing was nearly non existent. The amount of grammatical and spelling errors was beyond annoying. Add to that every other paragraph was about Covid and social distancing. I chose to read your books during lock down to escape from Covid and politics, if I wanted to hear the same thing repeated over and over again I would turn on the news or open social media.
If you eliminated everything Covid related this book could easily be cut in half. I honestly found the writing to be extremely lazy and filled with forced propaganda. There was a very quick story that wasn't even that good thrown in. The author should be ashamed of this crap. Sadly I read her next 2 "short stories" hoping she maybe got it out of her system and actually wrote something good, but instead it just became further diluted with politics and covid. We get it, social distance, wear a mask, but here's a tip for you- people don't read your books to get up to date on the news, they don't look to you to be an enforcer, your only job as a fiction/romance writter is to entertain the masses, if you want to write medical or political books by all means go ahead but don't try to force feed it to people just looking for something to take their minds off things.
Fun short story & light, happy read for pandemic times.
This enjoyable Easter story is skillfully set during the COVID-19 pandemic, and it features Civil War specters and a newly made ghost. The date for Easter is always a bit of a surprise, because it’s a “moveable feast”calculated on the lunar calendar and the Vernal Equinox. I fervently hope this’ll be a story I pick up in a few years and marvel at how bad COVID-19 once was. Crossing my fingers.
This is a sweet short story featuring Jackson Crowe and Angela Hawkins. Angela's friend, Eliza Andrews, is seeing faces in her window and a large Easter Bunny is leaving baskets on her porch. She's frightened and calls Angela for help. Set in 2020 during the COVID 19 pandemic, this story captures the mood of the times. A fun short in the Krewe world.
Angela and Jackson are back and off to help a family friend. It has been a while since Angela was out in the field so I loved that she was present in more then a research capacity.
I was not aware of these Novellas so I am not sure what order to read them in, but they are a perfect Krewe fix!
Another short story starring Angela and Jackson. It's Easter time and Angela's friend is seeing a face in her windows and Easter baskets are being left in her porch. Oh, did mention the large white rabbit?
A very current short story of an old friend of Angela living alone during the current pandemic. Also gives an update of what's happened in the lives of the original Krewe couple Jackson and Angela.
I enjoy the "Krewe" books. I own all of them . This one reads as if written for children. Also, I have listened to enough paranoia about covid-19 in the news without having to read it in books.
as always I love Heathers stories of The Krewe of Hunters......this was a great story to give a smile to all during this virus con 19. and show The love we should have at Any time of this Year.. Great Work.
Despite the pandemic Angela and Jackson have come to a small Virginia town to help a friend. In the end they not only help her but some ghosts too. An Easter story to remember.
I finding myself enjoying these quick short stories that included th E kids most of the time. I love all of Heather's books even these. They are always worth the time reading. Yea, for some good time Heather!!!
The purpose for Easter is for all people to accept each other with peace, hope and love. In a small Virginian town, the dead and the living meet to celebrate Easter and Passover.
I would highly recommend this author and this book! Despite the short length she still manages to keep you enthralled, and her characters are a joy to spend time with. I have lost count of the number of her books I have read, but she has yet to disappoint me.
