I had a great time reading this box set. I gave it an overall 5* even though if you were to average out my ratings for the individual novellas it might be a 4. something. It gave me a lot of enjoyment and entertainment reading about all these different couples and their sweet kisses plus it's for a great cause!

This collection has it all; sweet kisses (of course), second chances, best friends, family, forgiveness, struggles, healing, marriage of convenience, small town story, cowboys, billionaires, mountain men, Alaskan men, trust, gamers, sea adventures, dreams, humor (lots of humor!!!), meet cutes, insta-love, years of pining, fishing, Rock stars, hidden identity, storms, chemistry, more chemistry, even more chemistry, and sweet Christian elements. It's power packed y'all!!!

The following rating is my own personal opinion. I enjoyed all of them but these ones just hit me and drew me in more than the others. I'm sure each reader is going to find different ones than my top picks which is great because there are so many fabulous reads to choose from that there's something for every reader!

The ones with 1 Star next to it are my absolute favorites in the collection-Absolutely adored and loved them! The ones with 2 stars are my next favorites-Loved it. 3 stars next favorites.

1)The Billionaire’s Practice Kiss by Tamie Dearen- 4.5* (clean)

2)Kissing the Cow King by Judith Lucci- 3* clean, some talk about being good Christian people, some drinking, Suellen’s character was hard to connect with. Several little things that weren’t accurate-her as a teacher not getting to school until it’d already started, teacher’s aid having more knowledge and acted more like the teacher. Her anger was over the top. But it was a cute story. Some embarrassing moments, especially with their first couple meetings.

***3)Kissing an Alaskan Man by Evangeline Kelly- 5*- Loved it! Sweet second chance story. Lots of great chemistry. Brock and Amelia were sweet characters.

4)Sealed with a Kiss by Lorna Hoopes- 3.5*
Layla & Max. He owns a diner and she owns a B&B. He’s loved her for years and has waited for the right time to tell her. She keeps leaving town but returns again about to get married. The townspeople were fun and all knew how max felt.

*5)Eight Second Kiss by Jo Noelle- 5+*, LOVED IT! Shannon & Cole sweet second chance. Great chemistry. Loved the play on the title and kissing/winning. Very swoony. Rhett and Skyla were such a fun and sweet addition to the story. I love this little family! And that epilogue! Absolutely darling! I loved how it tied everything together and the sweet emotions that I felt from it! Again...I love this family!

***6)Trusting His Kiss by Jean Gordon-5*- loved Kari & Eli’s story. Sweet healing and love and peace. Forgiveness and trust.

***7)Dreaming of His Kiss by Jessie Gussman-4.5*- Race and Penny meet again later in life. I loved the healing and them realizing they both could have fixed their marriage. But they don’t dwell on the pain of the past but try to fix it and allow for a second chance. Race was a heart surgeon but is a pastor now. They work towards helping others and have a sweet ending with family. Christian themes.

8)Don’t Kiss the Enemy by Donna Weaver-4* I enjoyed Caitlyn and Noah’s story. Second Chance romance. Her overcoming lies spread by someone she dated then he abused her and fighting cancer. I liked the company retreat and loved how it tied in the books of the series.

9)Kissing the Captain by Monique McDonnell-4.5*-Cam & Emily- Olympic sailing medalist and she’s a journalist. Sorry learning to trust and live and love. Cute story. Rushed ending.

**10)Don’t Kiss Me Goodbye by Melanie Snitker-5+*- LOVED IT!!! Tom and Abby had a rough start and forces pushing against their marriage. But I loved their tender story and second chance. Learning and growing and realizing what real love and marriage is. Super sweet!!!

*11)First Kiss Train Wreck by Michelle Pennington-5+* ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! My favorite in the set. Fun addition to her book A Man Worth Shaving For. Love a good best friends to love story.

12)To Kiss a Sheriff by Kit Morgan-3.5*- John & Crystal get a second chance after several hats. Lots of family moments and support and some misunderstandings after a meddling person interfered years ago. Cute.

**13)If You Want to Kiss a Billionaire by Emma St. Claire-5*-Jane & Hamilton. Cute billionaire story. Quick love story but well done. I liked the setting at the island resort as Hamilton was there at a matchmaking get away. He found love in a way he wasn’t expecting.

**14)Kissing the Mountain Man by Jeanette Lewis-5*- Kennedy & Clay. Fun mountain man story. Great chemistry. I loved their first meeting. Super funny. Lots of sweet and tender moments.

*15)A Magnolia Kiss by Anne-Marie Meyer-5+*-Ben & Scarlett. LOVED IT! Another great story in the Red Stiletto Book Club! Loved reading Scarlett’s story after having a glimpse of her in the first book. Super sweet and great chemistry between them. I loved Ben’s character. He was patient and so sweet with Scarlett.

*16)Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star by a Judy Cory-5+*- LOVED IT!!! Another favorite. Maya & Landon are the best. Loving this series! Sweet mistaken identity. Great chemistry! Best friends to love interests.

**17)A Geek Girl’s Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer by Bree Livingston-5*-Xavier & Sadie- Fun sorry idea. Gaming and Illustrating. I loved the beaver suit. Their meeting was hilarious. Both really liked each other for years without knowing. It was cute and there were some sweet kisses. Great chemistry between them. The bad guy made me mad and I wanted to smack him!

18)Never Kiss a Preacher’s Son by Juliette Duncan-3.5*-Hayden & Penny-cute story. First person POV. Christian elements. They have to learn to make choices and decide what they really want in life and their relationship.

19)Meet-Cute Kiss by Vivi Holt-3*- Edward & Karen- Two strangers meet in a shocking way then reunite during an intense storm. I had a hard time connecting with both Karen and Edward. But I think many readers will enjoy their story.

**20)Kiss and Tell by Brooke St. James-4.5* - Ezekiel & Rhonda's story. Very cute! I loved the game show idea. A little slow until right before they meet. But I loved the premise. Great chemistry. They're a fun couple. The Tanner family series sounds like a fun one that I haven't read yet and this is a part of. That first kiss...wowsers!

21)Raspberry Kisses by Joy Ohagwu-3* - Catherine & Roberto - Second chance love story. A little confusing on the background story at the beginning and a few parts throughout (which could have just been my tired brain at the time of reading it) but I liked how they both still loved each other and had to work towards fixing what went wrong even if it was hard. Christian elements, praying out loud, trusting God to lead and guide the characters, and turning to God for strength.

Content: All clean!

I received an ARC for reviewing but have also purchased my own copy! All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

Wow, what a boxset! There is a little bit of everything in this set. Definitely worth the read. I was familiar with about 2/3 of these authors before and enjoyed being introduced to the others.

The Billionaire’s Practice Kiss by Tamie Dearen- 5* Great beginning to this boxset. I loved Logan and Ellery. They both have so much to work through, but they are so great together. I loved their story and all they were able to overcome. I also enjoyed the cameo of Cole and Brooke from her other series. I love the guys from the Phantom Group.

Kissing the Cow King by Judith Lucci- 3* I had a hard time with this book. I really didn't like Suellen. She was a brat and pretty ignorant. I would hope teachers have a little more knowledge about anaphylactic shock and Epipens than she did. Blake seemed like a great guy. I wish there was more than one chapter from his point of view. I also felt there was just a lot of fluff, descriptions and a whole chapter that didn't belong. I wish there had been more of Blake and Suellen together talking. The dialogue between them was weak and the whole thing seemed superficial. I tried to like this one, but I didn't.

Kissing an Alaskan Man by Evangeline Kelly- 5* I didn't realize this was a second chance romance, but I loved it. I love second chances. Being reunited with the one who got away. Amelia and Brock had such great chemistry. I'm glad they got their HEA.

Sealed with a Kiss by Lorna Hoopes- 4* Layla and Max's story is a sweet friends to lovers story. I got frustrated with both of them a little, but luckily they figured it out. The side characters were a great addition to the story.

Eight Second Kiss by Jo Noelle- 5* I love a brother's best friend to lovers trope and Cole and Shanni didn't disappoint. I loved them together and how wonderful Cole was with her kids. The ending felt a little rushed and I wish they'd had more time to hash some things out, but overall I enjoyed it.

Trusting His Kiss by Jean Gordon- 5* Kari and Eli's story was sweet. I have a tender place in my heart for our military and cried a few times during this story. This was a complicated relationship, but they handled things really well. As someone said, I could see this being a Hallmark movie.

Dreaming of His Kiss by Jessie Gussman- 4* This was a sweet second chance romance. I'm so glad Penny and Race got a do-over. They were really sweet together. I wish this story had been a little longer and hadn't jumped 10 years so soon. However, after that epilogue, I'm anxious to read Ethan's story.

Don’t Kiss the Enemy by Donna Weaver- 5* It was so fun to be back with the REKD team again. I enjoyed getting to know Noah a little better and seeing his relationship evolve with Caitlyn. They are a sweet couple. With it being a novella it didn't go as deep as I usually like, but I still really enjoyed it and can see the beginnings of a beautiful relationship. Also, use the glossary. There are some Irish, gaming and millenial terms you may not be familiar with, but Ms. Weaver has defined them all for you.

Kissing the Captain by Monique McDonnell- 4* Cam and Emily were so good together. I love how Cam worked with her on her fears. This was a fun story, but I really wish there had been an epilogue. The ending felt rushed.

Don’t Kiss Me Goodbye by Melanie Snitker- 5* Tom and Abby are so sweet together and confused. I'm glad they swallowed their pride eventually. This was a sweet second chance romance story.

First Kiss Train Wreck by Michelle Pennington- 5* I loved being back with the Shaped by Love series. If you haven't read it yet, you need to. Rian and Troy were so fun. I loved their banter and relationship. The plot didn't surprise me, but I enjoyed reading it anyway.

To Kiss a Sheriff by Kit Morgan- 4* I enjoyed John and Crystal's story, but I wish there had been a little more of just them together talking instead of so much in their heads. There were also some spots that felt rushed or not enough information maybe. Overall though it was a sweet second chance romance.

If You Want to Kiss a Billionaire by Emma St. Claire- 5* This was a sweet Cinderella story. I loved Jane and Hamilton. Both very sweet people. I love how well they complimented each other.

Kissing the Mountain Man by Jeanette Lewis- 5* I have really enjoyed the Tamarck Ridge series, but I think this might be my favorite so far. I really liked Clay. He was such a great guy and treated Kennedy well, even when he had every reason not to. I was annoyed with Kennedy a little in the beginning, but she quickly changed and I liked her. Dylan is a complete idiot and I'm glad she finally met a good guy to compare him to and kicked him to the curb. This was a fun sweet story.

A Magnolia Kiss by Anne-Marie Meyer- 3.5* I was excited to be back in the Magnolia series. This was a sweet story. I struggled a little with Scar's character. I felt she was kind of a downer and struggled with that. I wish Ben's POV had been shared. He was really sweet and I wanted more of him. I actually jumped ahead after a while and just read the conversation parts because I needed out of Scar's head. I did go back and read everything after I got to the HEA.

Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star by a Judy Cory- 5* I loved this one. Oh my, it was so good. I figured things out pretty quickly, but loved watching it all unfold. Loved the characters and their chemistry.

A Geek Girl’s Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer by Bree Livingston- Loved it! This was a fun fake relationship story. Xavier and Sadie are so fun. I loved that they crushed on each other when they were younger and get a second chance.

Never Kiss a Preacher’s Son by Juliette Duncan- 3* I struggled with this story. The way it was written was more like someone was telling me the story instead of me being a part of it. Penny and Hayden were sweet together and both had a bit to learn about themselves before they could be good together.

Meet-Cute Kiss by Vivi Holt- 3* The meet cute was definitely interesting for this story, but I didn't connect very well with either character. Ed is a good guy. Karen had a lot on her shoulders, but she ticked me off with the way she handled things. I don't know if I was just in a mood when I read these last two stories or what, but I just didn't enjoy them as much as the others.

Kiss and Tell by Brooke St. James- 5* I loved Ezekiel and Rhonda's story. The game show was a fun way to meet. Their story moved quickly after that. The chemistry was strong from the get go. This was a fun introduction to the Tanner family. I'm excited to read that series now.

Raspberry Kisses by Joy Ohagwu- 3.5* This is book 11 in a series and I definitely felt like I was missing a lot of back story. I haven't read the series so I don't know if the back story is included in other stories and if it would have made more sense reading them first or not. There were just several things hinted at, but not explained, which caused a lot of holes in the story for me. Roberto and Catherine are both good people who obviously love each other and luckily with God's help they finally figure out how to make it happen.

I received an ARC copy, but bought my own copy at release. All thoughts in this review are my own. I hope you enjoy it.

Not all favourites but worth the read and the price

Story 1: The Billionaire’s Practice Kiss A Limitless Clean Billionaire Romance
by Tamie Dearen
I loved all of her books in the billionaire Limitless series and it was fun to see some of the characters from her earlier books make an appearance here. If you haven’t read the series you would do well to read them to get an understanding of the characters before reading this one. Great story. 5*

Story 2: Kissing the Cow King
I didn’t like this one. It was too detailed and slow moving for me. I didn’t finish it. Moved onto the next one.

Story 3: Kissing an Alaskan Man

Story 4: Sealed With a Kiss

Story 5: Eight Second Kiss
A sweet story but I felt it dragged a little.

Story 6: Trusting His Kiss
Really liked this one. Very good, complete story, despite the short read it didn’t feel rushed and nothing was missing.

Story 7: Dreaming of His Kiss
Jessie Gussman always writes an original story and this one was great, although it does end on a cliffhanger. I will have to look out for the continuation of the story when it comes out.

Story 8: Don’t Kiss the Enemy

Story 9: Kissing the Captain
First time reading this author’s work and I loved this story! Loads of chemistry.

Story 10: Don’t kiss me Goodbye

Story 11: First Kiss Train Wreck
Loved, loved, loved this one! Amazing chemistry!! So hot!

Story 12: To Kiss a Sheriff
I didn’t really get into this one very much. It was too much like another story I read and I found some of it hard to follow.

Story 13: If You Want to Kiss a Billionaire
A Cinderella-like story. Very sweet.

Story 14: Kissing the Mountain Man
-Similar storyline to Diane Darcy’s “She’s Just Right”

Story 15: A Magnolia Kiss

Story 16: Stolen Kisses From a Rockstar
Ooh! So swoony! Loved this one too! Undercover rockstar! So fun!

Story 17: A Geek Girl’s Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer
This one had some great humour in it. A fun read.

Story 18: Never Kiss a Preacher’s Son

Story 19: Meet-Cute Kiss
Great story with an original plot.

Story 20: Kiss and Tell
Didn’t really like this one. I found it old-fashioned and slow.

Story 21: Raspberry Kisses

I didn’t have time to read all the stories in this collection by release day. I did receive this early copy and chose to review it. I also purchased it (preordered) before I received the offer to review. My opinions are my own and no compensation was given to me. I definitely had my favourite stories and some I didn’t like, which is normal when you are presented with 21 different authors and styles. Overall, I would rate this 4 stars and at the price I paid I would say it was definitely worth it. The proceeds also go to a very worthy cause. I recommend this book set.

Kisses for a cause!

I loved that I could drown myself in kisses and romance all the while knowing that all the books in this anthology also benefit Pets for Vets. That combo is hard to beat. These books are by some of my favorite romance authors – my “Go To” authors for heartthrobs and sighs. This volume is packed with 21 stories so it really filled my life with romance. I give this anthology a big “thumbs up” and if there was a 6-star rating I would give it that too!

Tamie Dearen
The Billionaire’s Practice KISS
This is a heartwarming, short love story. I felt bad for what happened to Ellery and how it left her. I was so happy when Ellery met Logan. Their meeting was not conventional and neither was how they attended a wedding. Ellery was good for Logan and I loved the changes he made. I encourage you to read the book.

Judith Lucci
Kissing the Cow King
I wasn’t crazy about Suellen at first. I thought she got mad about something she shouldn’t have. I felt bad for Blake as he had lost a couple of loved ones recently. Suellen wasn’t too nice to him at first and he didn’t deserve it.

Evangeline Kelly
Kissing an Alaskan Man
This is a sweet second chance love story. Amelia and Brock were in love when they were younger, but Amelia chose duty to her parents over love. I think because she wasn’t mature enough yet, she let her parents influence her. I enjoyed how she met Brock for the second time. Amelia’s friend on the cruise was funny. There is an ex of Brock’s that is a little irritating. I enjoyed the book.

Lorena Hoopes
Sealed with a Kiss
This is another sweet, short story. I can’t imagine being in love with someone since high school and not telling them like Max. I think Layla wanted someone to love her, but never realized that someone was right in front of her. I was glad Max never gave up.

Jo Noelle
Eight Second KISS
I really liked this sweet book. Cole is a great guy that has been on the rodeo circuit, but got hurt and has to heal. Loved his ranch with the horses and kittens. I think it is funny how older brothers always try to scare their best friends off their sister. You would think because they liked their friend so much the brother would want them together. Shanni has had a crush on Cole since high school. I was glad to see her spend time with Cole. Cole is so good with her two children. This is a sweet romance that I encourage you to read.

Jean C Gordon
Trusting His KISS
This is another sweet book. I liked how strong Kari was. Even though her husband was off in the military often, she made sure she knew how to handle mist situations. Kari’s oldest son is a teenager and hasn’t taken his dad’s death well. I liked how the guidance counselor Eli handled Kari’s son. It helped that Eli had gone through a similar experience. There is a woman from Eli’s past that causes trouble for Eli and Kari. I loved Kay’s youngest daughter and the things that came out of her mouth. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it.

Jessie Gussman
Dreaming of Hiss KISS
This story really brought home how God can work in our lives if we listen. I was shocked that Race gave up his cardiologist practice to become a preacher in a small town. You can see God working in Penny and Race’s life’s when the two meet again at the church Race will pastor. There are reasons for the shock from the two. This was a heartwarming story that I encourage you to read.

Donna K Weaver
Don’t Kiss the Enemy
This was an interesting book. I loved trying to hear the Irish accent in my head. I felt bad for Noah and Caitlyn. I think they were both good for each other until a horrible ex spread lies about Caitlyn. I was upset that Noah believed the ex and not Caitlyn. Luckily they both worked at the same company where Noah was able to learn a few life lessons. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it.

Monique McDonnell
Kissing the Captain
This is a sweet romance where Cam tries to help Emily let go of some of her fears, especially the fear of sharks. I know it took a lot for Emily to get on Cam’s hatch especially since she is afraid of sharks. But she is there to write an article for a magazine about Cam’s business. I liked Cam and how easy going he was with his customers. There was one customer I wasn’t crazy about. This is a prelude to a new series and I can’t wait to start it. I encourage you to read the book.

Melanie D. Snitker
Don’t Kiss Me Goodbye
I enjoyed this book. I felt bad that Abby had such a bad example for parents. I couldn’t believe how they always put her husband Tom down and Abby didn’t stick up for him, especially after they separated. I was so glad that Tom’s grandparents had planned a cruise so they were together. It is always nice to have loving parents to look up to. I encourage you to read the book.

Michelle Pennington
First Kiss Train Wreck
This was a fun, sweet book. Rain is so funny about having bad first kisses. I liked how her best friend, Troy kidded her about her dates and the kisses. The two have been friends and business partners for ten years. Sometimes when you are so close to someone, you can’t see what is in front of your face. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it.

Kit Morgan
To Kiss a Sheriff
This is a good second chance romance. I was glad to see that John felt bad about leaving Crystal five years ago without ant other contact. Now that they are both back in the same town, I don’t think they know what to do with each other. There is a bitter old woman that tries to make trouble for the two. Most of the people in the small town are nice and helpful. I enjoyed the book and encourage you to read it.

Emma St. Clair
If You Want to KISS a Billionaire
This is an interesting romance. I felt bad for Hamilton because after an accident when he was young, he could no longer see color and stuttered. He is so smart and his company is doing well. It is interesting how he meets Jane. I loved how happy she was and how she explained different colors to Hamilton. There are some jealous women (one especially) who tries to cause trouble. I encourage you to read the book.

Jeanette Lewis
Kissing the Mountain Man
This was a cute, short romance. Poor Kennedy was heart broken when her boyfriend played an embarrassing prank on her in front of people at a college basketball game. I was glad her friend let Kennedy use her family cabin in the Montana mountains to give her time to think. It was so funny how she met Clay. Clay is just the opposite of Kennedy, but I liked him. I encourage you to read the book.

Anne-Marie Meyer
A Magnolia KISS
Why do we hold grudges for so long? I was sorry to see Scarlett so against Ben for what his family did to her grandparents years ago. Ben is back on the island and in a fishing contest next to Ben. I was glad to see her question her feelings for Ben. This is a short romance I encourage you to read.

Judy Corry
Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star
I love rock star books! This is a sweet story. It is fun to watch someone fan girl over a rock star like Maya did. Her crush wears a mask, so no one knows who he is. Her childhood friend Landon loves to kid her. He seems like such a fun guy. It was interesting when Maya’s friend bought her a ticket to her rock star’s performance in Las Vegas, and her backstage pass. I loved this book and strongly encourage you to read the book.

Bree Livingston
A Geek Girl’s Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer
This is such a cute book. It is so funny how we see ourselves compared to how others see us. Most of us have a tendency to cut ourselves down, just as Xavier and Sadie did. But when they looked at each other, they only saw good and positive things. Xavier had a crush on Sadie at one time, and I am glad he gets a chance to see if it can go anywhere. Sadie has been taken advantage of by her ex partner and Xavier is there to help her. There are some bad things going on in the background. I loved this story and strongly encourage you to read it.

Juliette Duncan
Never Kiss a Preacher’s Son
It was nice to see how God worked in Penny and Hayden’s life. I am sure they never planned on meeting someone important in their life when they met at Hayden’s cousins wedding. I felt bad that Hayden’s father kept guilting him into going to college to be a preacher since he did not feel the calling. Penny’s mom had a bad taste in her month because of something happening with Penny’s grandmother and a preacher’s son. This was an interesting book that made you think what is important in your life.

Vivi Holt
Meet-Cute KISS
I admired Karen for getting her pilot’s license. I can’t imagine being on my own for so long and taking Karen of her grandmother that had the beginnings of dementia. I was glad Ed was the air traffic controller that talked her in on her first flight. That was an exciting flight. I felt bad for Ed’s ex fiancée breaking up with him just before getting out of the Air Force. I was glad though that he and Karen started dating. Things don’t always go the way you want. This is a cute book I encourage you to read.

Brooke St. James
KISS and Tell
This is sweet college romance. It was hard for me to believe in this day and age Rhonda at 20 years old had never been kissed. She has been waiting for the right man. I could understand that she was upset with her best friend who tricked her into going on a dating fame show at the college. But I think it was the best thing to happen for her. Ezekiel is a tall, good looking, outgoing, and charismatic basketball player everyone loves and he is who the date will be with. I liked that Ezekiel was impressed with Rhonda from the beginning even though she tried to blow it. It was nice watching the two grow. I encourage you to read the book.

Joy Ohagwu
Raspberry Kisses
This is a short Christian story. The book helps us to see how important our trust and belief in God is. I felt like Catherine was so confused about breaking up with Roberto she made the wrong decision. I can understand her decision to a point, but she should have discussed it with him. Maybe there is still a chance.

There are so many sweet books here that there is something for everyone. You will be glad you ordered it. I was given a copy of these book and voluntarily wrote a review.

I wrote 1 of the 21 novellas in this, but I'm not talking about Don't Kiss the Enemy. I love the story and I'm biased.

However, the other stories are so fun! It's such a great variety of clean romances. There's a little of everything. One of the things I love about collections is the opportunity to meet new authors. This is one such.

I’ve read a good portion of the stories in this book and it is well worth the money. It will provide hours of entertainment for a minimal fee. I also like that if I don’t have a lot of time I can read for a couple of hours and finish a story without feeling like so am stopping in the middle of a book. Below is a few of my thought on the stories I completed.
Sweet kisses (Corry, Meyer, etc)
Stolen Kisses from a rock star by Judy Corry is cute. It’s about two people that were once good friends growing up that have reconnected after not seeing each other in a while. The last time they did see each other they made out after she broke up with her fiancé. Maya and Landon first appeared in another book I had previously read but it had been so long that I may have to go back and read the other book again. They are both fun characters.
A Magnolia Kiss by Anne Marie Meyer is a glance into her Magnolia Red Stiletto series. It is an enemy to lovers story. Ben is a sweet guy. Scarlett is blinded by her anger which is likely misplaced on Ben. It is surprising to me that Ben is harboring feelings for Scarlett of affection when Scarlett can’t stand Ben. I felt the ending came on a bit too quickly. I think it needed another chapter. But it is hard with short stories.
Don’t kiss the enemy is Donna K Weavers contribution. I’ve read her whole REKD series and this is a short story that follows that series. It can be a stand alone but would be better in my opinion after reading the series. It is a second chance romance in which their have been some serious misunderstandings causing feelings of hatred on Noah’s part. Caitlyn had medical issues and other things she had to over come in addition to her failed relationship. The truth had to come to light for these two to have a chance.
First kiss train wreck was pretty cute. I loved the banter between Troy and Rian. It’s a best friends to overs romance with some steamy kisses and some funny awkward moments.
Eight second kiss was a super cute story. I was rooting for the cowboy, Cole and his girl Shanni. I really enjoyed the story but was slightly disappointed in the ending. It was about a divorced woman, her two kids, and her brothers best friend. They once had a thing for each other but Cole knew his friend would never approve of Cole dating his sister.
Meet - Cute Kiss was one of my favorites. What a fun cute story. I shed some tears on this one. I loved Ed. He can be my book boyfriend anytime. I was kind of disappointed in Karen through part of the story but I am glad she came around eventually. Ed meets Karen for the first time during an embarrassing fall at the grocery store. Then they meet in a potentially life altering circumstance.
Don’t Kiss Me goodbye is a make up story between newlyweds Tom and Abby. They feel in love quickly with a whirlwind marriage and then didn’t know how to resolve their differences. They had to find out how to love and support each other through the hard times. It was a sweet story of forgiveness.
Kiss and Tell is about a dating show for college students. Kind of like love connection. Rhonda got roped into by an old friend who was less than honest with her about it. Ezekiel was the bachelor who got talked into doing the show for charity. Both characters are fun. This is the introduction to the Tanner family series (the kids of Ezekiel and Rhonda). I think this sounds like a series I’d enjoy.

I like these collections because I get stories from some of my favorite authors and I can also find new authors. I haven't read all the stories in this set yet.

EIGHT SECOND KISS by Jo Noelle--5 stars
Shanni's all grown up and with two kids in tow, she moves back to Peak City to start over after her divorce. What are the chances that the new accountant for his ranch would be someone from Cole's past? Shanni and Cole get another chance to see if they'd be great together--she's all grown up and her big brother has no say it the matter this time.

I love second-chance-at-love stories and this novella about Shanni and Cole hit the spot. Shanni's kids were adorable and I especially loved the kittens. I love how Cole was with Shanni's kids, and that they liked him right away. I liked how his bull-riding ties in with the title to the story. So cute.

FIRST KISS TRAIN WRECK by Michelle Pennington--4 stars
This is a cute best friends to more story. Rian has a problem with goodnight kisses on first dates--something always happens to ruin them so she's swore off dating to concentrate on her day job at Booms and Nibbles, and her side job of flipping houses with her best friend Troy.

Friends to more is one of my favorite tropes because usually one of the friends has had feelings for the other for quite awhile, and I like to see the path to realization in the one who keeps saying "we're just friends". Troy's attraction to Rian wasn't new, but he hid it well. I liked seeing Rian's journey as she realized how Troy felt about her, and that she was developing feelings other than friendship towards Troy. There were several laugh out loud moments that made this such a fun story.

KISSING THE MOUNTAIN MAN by Jeanette Lewis--5 stars
When Kennedy is humiliated by her boyfriend on the jumbotron at a football game she flees to her friend, Jayda's family cabin in Tamarack Ridge. Unknowningly, she misses the turnoff and ends up at the cabin of loner Clay Dresden, who is not happy to find her making herself at home in his cabin when he returns from a long hunting trip.

This is a sweet and fun story with one of the funniest meet-cutes. Like a modern day Goldilocks. I loved seeing the changes Kennedy makes and Clay, who purposefully cuts himself off from everyone, makes some changes too. I was so happy when Kennedy opened her eyes and finally ditched her jerk of a boyfriend.

A MAGNOLIA KISS by Anne-Marie Meyer--3.5 stars
This is a small town enemies to lovers story. Scarlett is trying to save her the gelato shop her grandmother left her, and then she finds out that Ben is back in town. What nerve! To top it off he also enters the annual fishing competition that Scarlett enters and he's set up his fishing gear right next to hers. This leads to a bet between them and if Scarlett wins, Ben will leave town. How can she resist that?

4 1/2 stars

This collection has many different stories to choose from. The rating I gave them varies from 3 - 4.5 stars. As with any collection, especially one with so many different stories, I would inevitably like some more than others. I do confess to skimming through a couple of them due to their predictability.

So here’s a little about some of the stories I especially enjoyed.

Don't Kiss Me Goodbye was about a young couple struggling in their marriage. There was a great depth of emotion in this heartwarming novella and I cared about the couple very much.

Kissing the Captain was fun! Cam, the captain, was super protective when he discovered his passenger was so terrified of the ocean. It was a great story of overcoming grief and fear.

Though each story is clean, the degree to which the kissing was described varies between them. A couple of them described the kissing in more detail than I prefer and some were super innocent and sweet.

With so many to choose from, if you enjoy sweet romances, there is bound to be at least one to your liking. And you just might find a new author!

I was given a copy of this book. I was not required to give a favorable review nor was any money received for this review. All comments and opinions are my own.

It was so much fun to be able to collaborate with such an amazing group of authors! There are so many great love stories to fit whatever mood you're in.
I loved writing Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star. I've been dying to write Maya and Landon's story ever since I wrote Protect My Heart (Landon also shows up in Her Football Star Ex). They were so much fun to hang out with for a while and I'm so pleased with how their story turned out.
I hope you love it too!

(4.5 stars) - Sweet Introductions!

Kiss and Tell by Brooke St James

This is a sweet introduction to the Tanner Family. It's fun to see Ezekiel & Rhonda as slightly awkward young adults & funny to see how they got together.

Rhonda gets tricked into participating in a dating game show for charity. Ezekiel is the star basketball player at the University & the eligible bachelor. As Rhonda tries to avoid catching E's interest, she ends up piquing it instead.

E ends up catching her interest, too, & it's a happily-ever-after match - and the beginning of the Tanner dynasty! You'll want to read the whole series!

*Clean romance level: passionate kisses, but nothing graphic

Huge collection of sweetness

Overall, this collection is an enjoyable round of inspirational novellas. I’ve read many of the authors before and was happy to find new stories from them in this set. Of the new-to-me ones, stories ranged from one 2-star that painfully needed an editor to mostly 3- and 4- star stories. Some I’ll definitely be checking out again!

Lots of great sories.

I really liked the stories whose characters relied on God for help and direction for their lives. I enjoyed reading how with God's help they walked through their difficulties into the happiness He had for them.

The Billionaire’s Practice Kiss – Tamie Dearen (4 stars)

This story pulled me in immediately. Logan and Ellery are interesting, flawed, and relatable characters. I love their connection. I didn’t want to put the book down. There is a tinge of a Christian theme, but it’s almost an afterthought. This is the first Tamie Dearen I’ve read. I totally recommend this book, and look forward to reading more of her books. It is a sweet/clean read.

Kissing the Cow King – Judith Lucci (2 stars)

I had a hard time getting through this book. I probably wouldn’t have finished it if it hadn’t been part of the boxed set. I felt obligated to finish, so that I could include a review. There was a lot of repetition. There was telling not showing. The conversations between the characters were not natural. They would repeat what each other said. They also told each other things that as relatives or friends they would already know. It was like it was for the readers benefit to fill in the background story.

The main character was an unlikeable brat. The book is 11 chapters long, and she didn’t change her attitude until around chapter 10, and literally in 24 hours she decided she liked him. He liked her too, but I have no idea why. She didn’t have any redeeming qualities. There is a tinge of a Christian theme, but it’s an afterthought. This is a sweet/clean story.

Kissing an Alaskan Man – Evangeline Kelly (4 stars)

This was a fun second chance story. I always enjoy Evangeline’s books. The characters, Amelia and Brock, are likable and relatable. I like how Amelia’s friend, Tori, gives her the push she needs to move forward. I also like that Brock was up front and firm with Carlie, and didn’t let her push him into a relationship he didn’t want. There is a tinge of a Christian theme, but I would like to have seen more of Brock’s relationship with God. I also would have liked to have seen them praying, and asking God what his will is, and relying on Him for their decisions. This is a sweet/clean story. I definitely recommend this book.

Sealed With a Kiss – Lorana Hoopes (4 stars)

Layla and Max have been friends for years. Max has always wanted more, but it was never the right time to tell Layla, until now. Layla and Max are a great couple who are the best of friends. Layla is a bit flakey, and Max is steady and reliable. He’s always there for Layla. I enjoyed their story, and I recommend it. This is a sweet/clean book.

Eight Second Kiss – Jo Noelle (3 stars)

Shanni, divorced with two kids, moved back to her hometown. Cole is a bull rider with a ranch. Shanni is his best friend’s little sister. She has always been off limits. There is a bit of a plot hole for me surrounding this. At the beginning of the book Shanni’s brother, Drew, keeps telling Cole that he needs to leave Shanni alone. Then as they begin to spend more time together and date, nothing more is said by Drew. **Possible spoilers following.**Also, there is a stipulation in Cole’s father’s will that he must marry within two years, or lose the ranch. He briefly mentions it to Shanni, but they never have a conversation about it. He never explains it fully, nor does he tell her how he feels, and that he doesn’t just want to marry her to keep the ranch. I’m also a traditionalist, so I wasn’t a fan of Shanni’s proposal. It just didn’t seem to fit with the story since Shanni and Cole hadn’t even expressed their feelings to each other. It was a noisy public place, and they hadn’t even had some conversations that would be important when planning to marry someone. This is a sweet/clean book.

Trusting His Kiss – Jean C. Gordon (4 stars)

Kari is a widow with three kids. Her husband was in the military, and didn’t come back. Kari’s son, Myles, is 14 and going off the rails. Eli is the high school guidance counselor, and is trying to help him get back on track. Kari and Eli are likeable characters. They have a bit of a rough start, but then they start to get along.

The conflict with Eli’s ex, Charlotte (Charlie), and her lies could have been developed/explained a little more as far as her sudden change of heart. The situation with her son, Brett, going to Eli for help was strange too. I would have liked to know Brett’s perspective on that. The ending was a bit abrupt. I wasn’t expecting it to end so suddenly. This is a sweet/clean book.

Dreaming of His Kiss – Jessie Gussman (4 stars)

This is a great second chance love story. Penny and Race are likeable. I liked that Penny and Race are older (middle aged). I wish there had been more development of re-establishment of their relationship after so long apart. Things moved a little quick for me. I also would have liked to see more of the kids’ story. I loved the epilogue and seeing how everything turned out. However, there is a big cliffhanger, of which I’m not a fan, leading into the next book in the series. They next book looks great though.

Don’t Kiss the Enemy – Donna K. Weaver (3 stars)

Noah and Caitlyn used to date. Then Noah ghosted her when his friend accused Caitlyn of being a liar. Now they must work together. Caitlyn still cares for Noah, but he dumped her without a word. She isn’t interested in getting hurt again. Noah still likes Caitlyn, but she’s the bad guy, so he can’t go there again.

This story was a little difficult for me to get through. It’s a cute story, but I think it’s geared for a younger audience (20’s). The slang was too much even with the glossary. It detracted from the flow of the story. It didn’t seem natural. Also, whenever Noah called Caitlyn “Darling” he sounded like her grandmother, and not a young man in his 20’s.

Kissing the Captain – Monique McDonnell (4 stars)

This was a fun story. Emily is a journalist. Cam is a former Olympic sailor with a yachting business that caters to high end clients. Emily is supposed to spend a weekend on his yacht with some other couples, and do a write up in a travel magazine on his business. Unfortunately, Emily can’t swim and has a shark phobia. Cam really needs the article to be a success to give his business a boost.

I enjoyed this story. It held my interest, and Emily and Cam had great chemistry. It’s an instalove relationship, so it’s a bit quick. The wife of one of the other couples was annoying and inappropriate. She was constantly going after Cam right in front of her husband. Her husband apparently didn’t have a problem with it. It was played off as flirting, but it wasn’t playful and meaningless. There seemed to be real feelings and jealousy behind it. Maybe she wasn’t getting attention from her husband because this “flirting” is supposedly normal for her. I’m not into cheating, and her behavior came across as blatant disrespect and disregard for her husband and marriage. So, that part of the story didn’t really work for me. Other than that, I liked the story.

Don’t Kiss Me Goodbye – Melanie D. Snitker (3 stars)

Abby and Tom have been married for 6 months, and separated for 1 month. Tom’s grandparents have paid for a family cruise to celebrate their anniversary. He asks Abby to go with him because he hasn’t told his family about their separation. Can this be a new start for them?

I like the story, but the lack of communication was hard for me. Neither one was willing to be vulnerable and share their true feelings. They who thing got out of hand because of stubbornness and lack of communication. It could have been resolved right away if they’d just sat down and had a conversation, and not avoided it. This is a sweet/clean story.

First Kiss Trainwreck – Michelle Pennington (4 stars)

Rian and Troy are best friends, and have a house flipping business together. She’s been dating, but is in a slump because her first kisses have recently been a disaster. Troy offers to kiss her to break “the curse of the first kiss”. Rian agrees because she is desperate. Besides what could go wrong? The result isn’t at all what she expected.

I love the banter between Rian and Troy. This was a fun story to read. This is a sweet/clean book.

To Kiss a Sheriff – Kit Morgan (3 stars)

Crystal and John used to date. She thought they were going to get married, but he left instead. She moved away, and tried to write, but never heard from him. 5 years later she is back in town to start new. She’ll be working with her best friend. The first thing she does is run into John, the sheriff.

There is some conflict between Crystal and John caused by someone else. At one point the story jumps from not knowing what happened to suddenly, they know what happened and who caused it. This seemed abrupt to me. I thought there was a missing chapter or something where we find out how things went from point A to point B. This is a sweet/clean second chance story.

If You Want to Kiss a Billionaire – Emma St. Clair (3 stars)

Jane had to quit college because she couldn’t afford tuition anymore. She and her best friend get jobs at a high-end resort that caters to matching wealthy people with each other.

Hamilton is a billionaire looking for a wife. He isn’t looking for love, but a companion and a relationship where love can grow. All the women have their own money, so he doesn’t have to worry that they are after his money.
Hamilton doesn’t strike me as very confident although we are told that he is very confident and decisive in business. He and Jane seem to connect in a way he hasn’t with other women. She looks at him differently and treats him differently.

This is an insta-love story. They met, spent a few hours together, then stayed apart for a few days, then they were talking forever. I just didn’t feel the connection/sparks with them.

Kissing the Mountain Man – Jeanette Lewis (4 stars)

Kennedy was humiliated by her boyfriend. She runs away to her friend’s family cabin to get over it. Clay is into self-sufficiency. He’s a loner, and he’s fine with that.

He comes home from a hunting trip, and finds a stranger in his bed. It turns out the cabin Kennedy settled in didn’t belong to her friend’s family. Oops!

Kennedy and Clay have an immediate connection despite the misunderstanding. They like each other, but their lives are completely different. She lives in WA and he lives in MT. It’s a dilemma. Now Dylan, the ex-boyfriend jumps in to pick up where He and Kennedy left off. Is he still the man Kennedy wants, or will she choose Clay? If she chooses Clay, how will they work through all of the obstacles?

A Magnolia Kiss – Anne-Marie Meyer (3 stars)

Ben and Scarlett are competing in a fishing competition to win $5000. Scarlett badly wants to win to keep her grandmother’s legacy, a gelato shop, in business. Ben’s family opened a competing ice cream shop in their small town almost driving the gelato shop out of business. Scarlett sees Ben as her enemy.

This story was a bit hard for me to get into because it seemed as if it jumped in part way through. The background relationship between Ben and Scarlett was lacking. I didn’t know if they had formerly been friends, acquaintances, or what. There seemed to be some sort of connection between them, but I just wasn’t feeling it. Scarlett just seemed angry with Ben, and confused by her conflicting feelings for him.

Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star – Judy Corry (3.5 stars)

Maya has a huge crush on her favorite singer, Incognito. He wears a mask, and no one knows his real identity. Her best friend bought her tickets to see him in concert for her birthday. She also got herself in a sticky situation with Landon, her next-door neighbor and friend growing up. Two months ago, she backed out of her wedding, and into the arms of Landon. There was some kissing and a lot of fireworks, but she hadn’t seen him since. He shows up of all places at the trampoline park to rescue her during an embarrassing moment.
After the concert and personal meet and greet with Incognito, Maya is conflicted. She had great chemistry with him, but she’s also attracted to Landon.

This was a cute story, even though I guessed the twist right away.

A Geek Girl's Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer – Bree Livingston (3 stars)

This was a fun story about Sadie and Xavier. Sadie is a former gamer and Xavier is a video game developer/gamer. Xavier is getting over a breakup from his girlfriend who never loved him, and was just using him for his money. Sadie is also getting over a breakup for the same reason.

This is a fun story. It’s a quick read and is sweet/clean. Although the characters are 40/41 it reads (to me) as though they are in their 20’s. I still enjoyed it.

Never Kiss a Preacher's Son – Juliette Duncan (3 stars)

Penny is a lawyer on track to becoming chief prosecutor. She lives in the city and loves her job. She longs for true love though. Hayden is a builder with plans to go back to college on the other side of the country to become a preacher. They meet at a wedding and have an instant connection. Neither expected the whirlwind of feelings.

This is a sweet story with some conflict and obstacles to overcome. It’s a short read, but I enjoyed it. This is a sweet/clean book.

Meet Cute Kiss – Vivi Holt (3 stars)

Karen and Ed run into each other literally at the grocery store. She is a pilot and he is an air traffic controller. He’s handsome, but irresponsible with his dog, which got away from him and caused the collision. Karen is a Pilot and Ed is an air traffic controller. She has an emergency during her first flight at her new job, and Ed’s calm voice and help get her through.

They date for a month, and just when things are getting serious, there is a misunderstanding that breaks them up. Will they have a second chance at a happy ending? This is a sweet/clean story.

Kiss & Tell – Brooke St. James (3 stars)

Rhonda’s college friend convinces her to be on a game show. What she failed to mention is that it’s a dating show, not like The Price Is Right. Rhonda is angry and blindsided, but feels obligated to follow through because the show is about to go on. She doesn’t want to leave them in a bind.

Ezekiel is the bachelor on a dating show that’s expected to raise $10,000 for a local food pantry. He’s the star of his college basketball team, and is sure to draw in fans and donations. Plus, it sounds like fun.

Rhonda’s friend agrees to tell Ezekiel not to choose Rhonda. Rhonda tries to answer the questions in a way that will turn off Ezekiel but not look as though she is throwing the game. Ezekiel is intrigued by Rhonda and her answers and chooses her as one of his dates.

This is a cute story with a happy ending. Neither is looking for a relationship, and they both kind of get roped into the game show by friends. Things work out better than either expected. This is a sweet/clean book.

Raspberry Kisses – Joy Ohagwu (3 stars)

Catherine is an art restorer and Roberto is a managing director at an art museum. He is hired to restore a 150 year old mansion. He knows the perfect person to help him. There’s just one problem. It’s his ex-girlfriend Catherine. Just when he

I have read the books in this box set and all are sweet, clean romantic stories.

Tamie Dearen - The Billionaire's Practice Kiss: Two broken people find healing from scars, both seen and unseen. Hiring Ellery as his date to a wedding he doesn't want to attend, Logan discovers a woman who faces up to life in spite of the wounds of the past, forcing him to make concessions that ultimately result in him recognising the truth about his own hang-ups.

Judith Lucci - Kissing the Cow King: Their initial meeting didn't go at all well, although Suellen did have to eat her words later when she met up with the arrogant farmer at her best friend's wedding. Both Suellen and Blake have had their share of heartache and pain, and although their friends throw them together, it takes more than good looks to win either of them over.

Evangeline Kelly - Kissing an Alaskan Man: Challenged by her best friend to kiss an Alaskan mountain man, Amelia is shocked to find that it brings her face to face with the one man she could never forget. When Brock asked her to marry him when they finished college, Amelia was torn between choosing him or the demands being placed on her by her parents. Whilst family history and loyalty are important components in life when it interferes with the matters of the heart, it brings pain and suffering those under its burden. Making important life choices when one is a little older has its own challenges and Amelia's decisions impact both of them.

Lorana Hoopes - Sealed with a Kiss: Max had carried a torch for Layla ever since high school and despite the whole town being aware of his feelings, Layla has been totally oblivious. Finally, after yet another dismal failure, Max gets his chance to tell her how feels. This sweet friends to lovers' romance set in a small town where one's privacy is not an option, makes one smile.

Jo Noelle - Eight Second Kiss: Shanni Davis has returned home, but with two sweet children in tow. Cole Burke has been attracted to Shanni since they were young, but her brother Drew had put the kybosh on any chance of a relationship with her. Re-establishing their friendship allows both Cole and Shanni to explore possibilities, one which includes her children.

Jean C. Gordon - Trusting His Kiss: A military widow has a hard enough time putting her life back together again without being confronted by her errant son's ex-military guidance counsellor. Whilst there is a strong attraction between Kari and Eli, her fear of loss makes Kari cautious. This sweet story encompasses the difficulties experienced by families as a result of loss as well as admitting a new person to their inner circle.

Jessie Gussman - Dreaming of His Kiss: Race and Penny have both loved, lost, and regret their broken past. When opportunity and chance seem to throw them together once again, they re-examine their past choices and possibilities for going forward. Their story is one that sounds very familiar as most couples have times where their focus has been on their careers and goals, resulting in neglect and taking those they love for granted.

Donna K. Weaver - Don't Kiss the Enemy: Noah had all but forgotten about Caitlyn and her betrayal until he is faced with the fact that she is to be a co-leader in a program being run by their company. Caitlyn has faced death and is ready once again to pick up the threads of her life and to start living again. Coming face to face with Noah Kelly in the boardroom was not what she expected and learning that she is to work in cooperation with him, makes it all the more difficult, given the fact that he is best friends with her despicable ex. Noah's first hint that the world is not as black and white as he had assumed comes when he realises that there are people who are intensely protective of Caitlyn and he may be missing some important information.

Melanie D. Snitker - Don't Kiss Me Goodbye: Every marriage goes through rough patches, but when one has a parent stirring the pot, it makes it that much more difficult to sort out the differences in a relationship. It takes the intervention of a family celebration to bring Abby and Tom back together in the same place at the same time, giving them an opportunity to explore their possibilities once more.

Monique McDonell - Kissing the Captain: Sometimes when life springs an unexpected surprise, it actually takes one in a new direction, as Emily discovered when she was sent on assignment to cover a weekend sailing getaway. With her fear of water and the creatures that live in the ocean, she felt she was taking her life in her hands. However, champion sailor Cam finds a way to break through her nervousness and show her a different way to live.

Michelle Pennington - First Kiss Train Wreck - An accident waiting to happen, Rian has a disastrous history of first dates. If that were not bad enough, catastrophes are following her into her workplace. In this hilarious short story, Rian finds herself becoming more and more frazzled, but stirring the pot is her best friend and business partner Troy, who always seems to be at the right place at the right time.

Kit Morgan - To Kiss a Sheriff - Inheriting her aunt's house, Crystal is returning home for the first time in years. There are unexpected surprises awaiting and unfinished business to take care of, despite doing her level best to avoid Sheriff John Turner. If only John and Crystal had spoken very much earlier, so much pain and disappointment could have been avoided, but with a malicious trouble maker in the works, they both have to exert all their courage to overcome the barriers that have been erected.

Emma St. Clair - If You Want to Kiss a Billionaire - Jane comes upon Hamilton struggling to find matching clothes to wear. I've personally worked for a man with Hamilton's exact condition, and the difficulties experienced by him are well depicted. Jane's matter-of-fact response to his plea break through his barriers and bring him to a place where he feels he can finally have a normal relationship. Unfortunately, there is someone else who feels that she would be a better match for him, bringing heartache and pain.

Jeanette Lewis - Kissing the Mountain Man - Running from a fiasco, Kennedy takes time out to lick her wounds in a mountain cabin, away from the media and the public humiliation. Inadvertently landing in a mountain man's bed, Kennedy experiences further humiliation by her error. Clay has lived life in the fast lane but has found peace living off the land, however that peace is invaded by the city girl and he is strangely fascinated by her. Learning from Clay brings a new level of fulfilment into Kennedy's life, but when her ex arrives unexpectedly, Kennedy has choices to make.

Anne-Marie Meyer - A Magnolia Kiss - The Williams' had been the downfall of Scarlett's family so when she finds that Ben Williams has set up his fishing reel next to hers in a fishing competition that may just earn her the prize money she needs to stay in business, Scarlett takes the bet he offers her. Being in close proximity, Scarlett comes to realise that she has much bigger fish to fry than winning a competition.

Judy Corry - Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star - He's her neighbour and best friend, and because he is so familiar, it never enters Maya's mind that there could be more to their relationship, apart from that rebound kiss. Landon has been in love with Maya for years and he suffers through her revolving-door relationships, but when a man in a mask attracts her interest, Landon realises that it's time to up his game.

Bree Livingston - A Geek Girl's Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer - In the world of gaming, awkward characters find themselves thrown together by circumstance and chance. Caught in the cross-fire of exes pouncing on them at an expo, Xavier, and Sadie pull together to thwart the efforts of those who would gladly see them fail. A cute story where justice is served and the geeks win the day.

Juliette Duncan - Never Kiss a Preacher's Son - With parents' expectations hanging of their heads, Hayden and Penny follow their hearts and begin dating after meeting at a wedding. Whilst Penny is upfront about her job and aspirations, Hayden is more reserved and consequently, it comes as a shock when he announces that he has to follow his father's plan for his life and attend Bible College. It takes the intervention of a stranger to give Hayden the courage to stand up for what he believes in.

Vivi Holt - Meet-Cute Kiss - Karen crashed into Edward resulting in an accidental kiss. Sometime later pilot Karen is caught in a serious situation with a full flight of passengers, and control tower staffer ends up talking her down to a safe landing. They are beyond surprised when they realise that they had previously encountered each other. Despite the attraction between them, misunderstandings abound and it takes time and patience to work through them.

Brooke St. James - Kiss & Tell - Rhonda reluctantly finds herself on a dating show after being misfed information. The star of the show, basketball star Ezekiel Tanner, is almost as reluctant to be on the show as Rhonda. However, he discovers her reticence enticing and as he comes to know her better, her innocence and lack of experience increase his interest.

Joy Ohagwu - Raspberry Kisses - Caught in the cross-hairs of a vendetta between her family and the man she loves, Cathrine breaks Roberto's heart by terminating their relationship without telling him why. Unfortunately, when the truth does come out, it is almost too late to repair the damage.

I received a copy of this box set as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

A great collection

I thoroughly enjoyed this collection of stories! I laughed and cried through them all! About half way into this I realized most of these authors wrote the books that my grandmother and I shared before she passed away. Those memories made this collection even more special. I got it free on kindle but now I'm going to purchase it! Thank you!

Collection lives up to its promise of lots of sweet kisses

This collection lives up to its promise of 21 kisses (or more) with various heat levels and all had happy endings. There wasn't any swearing/profanity which I appreciated very much. A few stories (Don't Kiss the Enemy, To Kiss a Sheriff, Raspberry Kisses) had reference to past violence.

My favorite stories were:

The Billionaire's Practice Kiss - Ellery and Logan both have significant trauma from their past to overcome before they have a hope of a relationship.  The story is funny and sweet as Tamie's writing is in general.

Dreaming of His Kiss by Jessie Gussman - I laughed a number of times during this story (very usual with Jessie's stories).  The Christmas tree scene was just one example.  I really liked that this story was about a couple in their late 40s/early 50s reconnecting as well as the importance the couple had learned to give God in their lives as they matured in their faith.

Don't Kiss Me Goodbye - What an amazing story!  A couple splits up (but doesn't divorce) and then ends up forced back together on a cruise.  Will they be able to work things out and save their marriage?  Is it worth the effort?  I loved the strong statement for marriage and family even though this story had no religious references.

If You Want to Kiss a Billionaire - Billionaire Hamilton goes to a resort to meet a wife and falls in love with the supposedly wrong person.  A very sweet tale of seeing past things that often distract be they traits, wealth, etc.

A Geek Girl's Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer - I loved how gallant Xavier was.  He was a billionaire but didn't flaunt his money other than when using his money to help others.  He didn't intimidate Sadie much and they made an adorable couple whether it was fake or real.  The mystery element was a nice touch as well.

Raspberry Kisses - Roberto and Catherine were in love but Catherine left without explaining why.  Now they have a chance to get back together but will their relationship rekindle or will it stay purely professional?  I really enjoyed the strong emphasis on God's working in this story and the choices that Catherine made although they were very difficult.

Two stories that left me with some disappointment at the end were Never Kiss A Preacher's Son and Kiss and Tell. I was still uncertain where the characters stood in their faith at the end of Never Kiss a Preacher's Son and since they had been searching the whole book that eclipsed the romance for me. I would have liked to see the gospel clearly presented at least since this was a story about faith. Kiss and Tell was very nice that Rhonda had been saving her first kiss but I never could tell why she had been saving it. Was God involved? I couldn't tell if it really was a big deal or not.

Eight Second Kiss, Kissing the Captain, First Kiss Train Wreck, Kissing the Mountain Man and Stolen Kisses From a Rock Star were higher on the heat level than I prefer to read even though I did like many of the characters.

I reviewed an ARC copy although I also purchased a copy.  My comments are my own and freely and honestly given.

Loved all of them and found it hard to stop reading. I would find it difficult to choose a favorite because they are all good. I will read them again!

Wonderful stories

I’ve had a wonderful time reading these stories and found some new authors who’s books I’m going to check out. This series is a list of romance stories set in very different circumstances but with one central theme. Everyone of them is shorter than I would have liked but they were still really good reading. Pick it up and read it, you’ll have days of enjoyment.

The Billionaire’s Practice Kiss-Tamie Dearen: 4 1/2* Such a sweet, heartwarming and inspirational romance story. They accompaniment one another very well.
Kissing the Cow King-Judith Lucci: 1* This clean story didn’t work for me, female protagonist was too immature and forlorn. Blake seems like a great guy but this story is too short and seems incomplete more like a snippet.
Kissing an Alaskan Man-Evangeline Kelly: 4* Pretty good second chance romance. Their indecisiveness was enough back and forth so that the additional drama with the ex was a bit tedious.
Sealed with a Kiss-Lorana Hoopes: 5* Excellent best friends become more, clean romance with hilarious “supportive” town folk.
Eight Second Kiss-Jo Noelle: 5* This short story gets the job done. These two have waited a long time and their second chance is emotional and sweet.
Trusting His Kiss-Jean C. Gordon: 5* Aww this is so sweet; Eli is such a big strong patient man with a big heart especially when it comes to helping kids. Kari is a cause of her own with the weight of the world on her shoulders. I love how he handles his attraction to her.
Dream of His Kiss-Jessie Gussman: 4* Inspirational romance come full circle, enjoyed reading how they each have matured on a personal and spiritual level.
Don’t Kiss the Enemy-Donna K. Weaver: 5+* Excellent! Such a heartwarming, tear-jerker, second chance romance. I will be looking for more from this author.
Kissing the Captain-Monique McDonell: 3* I like this but I prefer HEA instead of HFN and being left wondering and have to read another book makes this love story seem incomplete.
Don’t Kiss Me Goodbye: 2* Just not what I am looking for when reading romance, I prefer the feel good part instead of after that appears to have faded because it causes the story to be too sad and dramatic.
First Kiss Train Wreck-Michelle Pennington:4* Aww, enjoyed this friends become more story.
To Kiss a Sheriff-Kit Morgan: 3* It’s pretty good, second chance romance.
If You Want to Kiss a Billionaire-Emma St. Clair: 5* Very heartwarming story.
Kissing the Mountain Man-Jeanette Lewis: 5+* Wow! Love both characters and really enjoyed how they work things out.
A Magnolia Kiss-Anne-Marie Meyer: 3* Unrequited love story, he was very sweet but I didn’t like her false blame animosity.
Stolen Kisses from a Rock Star-Judy Corry: 5+* Excellent, this is just so good. Love the mystery twist and the revelation is very well written. Very interested in reading more books written by this author.
A Geek’s Girl Guide to Kissing a Video Gamer-Bree Livingston: 5* Very entertaining romantic suspense.
Never Kiss a Preacher’s Son-Juliette Duncan: 3* I usually love her books this was just too down-trodden, he's a great catch and I love his demeanor but I didn’t really warm up to her.
Meet-Cute Kiss-Vivi Holt: 5+* Very well written, love it and can’t wait to read more of this author’s books.
Kiss and Tell-Brooke St. James: 5+* Very captivating, drama-free new love interest, love it!!
Raspberry Kisses-Joy Ohagwu: 3* This is the most spiritual but everything else was just not exciting, I’m just burnt out with the second chance with family drama/secrets story line.
