This issue was a blast!
What a great way to finish a series!
I loved June's arc in this series and I think she showed a lot of growth and character. everything that happened made a lot of sense and all the things that were revealed tied the story neatly. The artwork was spectacular as usual.

I am only sad for the destiny of the ax ;)

Please.Please.Please make a spin off.

Hill deixou que todas as pontas se juntassem nesta última edição .

Achei satisfatórias as respostas dadas (algumas bem criativas), como L.E, por exemplo.

Nota 3.8 para a série como um todo.

June finally knows all the truths now and takes matters into her own hands. Nice wrap to the story.

June somehow hulks out of her ropes and frees herself from the lake, axe in hand. This action seemed a little unrealistic to me. June is amazing, and everything a strong female character should be, but this felt a little unrealistic. Perhaps, it is because of the axe’s ability to give life after death. June was so close to death, and the axe was within her proximity. Perhaps she died, but the axe brought her back?

The proposal is almost perfect. June is out axe murdering everyone, and Liam leads the bad guys to the place where the engagement ring was. He witnessed June cut someone in half, but they are still talking as if they were alive. He decides this is the best moment for a proposal. It’s so great.

But unfortunately, the heads weren’t lying about Liam stealing the money. So June makes a surprising decision. She cuts off Liam’s head. This act made this comic one of my favourites. Suddenly June cares about standing up for this woman who could have had a better life, but law enforcement let her down. She stands up for women and takes her life and path into her own hands. She dumps the axe and heads over the bridge and escapes for a better life.

This beautiful finale is full of twists and turns. I’ll be rereading this series.

5 Stars! ★★★★★
Hands Down!! I loved it! Beginning to end, this story gave me chills and goosebumps. Issue after issue, the cliffhangers had my jaw open. Art was great! The concept of an Axe with magic powers of life was thrilling.
I almost wish June didn’t throw it away in the end.

I wish there was a continuation to this story. (Fingers crossed that Joe Hill creates more issues)

This was a total blast of a read. The story was good and moved along quickly while still having some fun and interesting characters. The violence was good and the combination of suspense and humor was on point. The ending was good and June will go down as one of the better female protagonists in a story that I have read. Very pleasant read.

The ending wasn't good. Specifically, June beheading Liam. In a moment she went from victim to psycho killer, for no good reason. Now what's the point of her 7-issue mission to rescue him? And when it reveals that Gabriella the cleaning woman was the undercover cop and not Liam kinda threw me of.

Fantastic way to end the series with a couple of signature Hill twists! Definitely was worth the wait because of the pandemic.

I missed a few issues but they were summed up enough that the plot was clear. This book was a lot of fun and has a deadpan humor as likely to come from the final girl as the villains.

I really like the end, althought it needed more development, all the mystery and besides were told at the end in a few lines, althought I recommend this comic by Joe Hill.

Finished up the last in this seven-part series today. Really enjoyed it: dark humor, strong female protagonist, women helping women, Norse mythology... I'm here for it!

Fantastico, memorabile. Un colpo di scena dietro l'altro, ogni scoperta è plausibile, nessuna forzatura, la storia è del tutto naturale nel suo essere irreale.

The twists and turns this series took was completely unexpected. By the end I felt just as gutted as most of the characters.
