Skye MacKinnon is a USA Today & International Bestselling Author whose books are filled with strong heroines who don't have to choose.

She embraces her Scottishness with fantastical Scottish settings and a dash of mythology, no matter if she's writing about Celtic gods, cat shifters, or the streets of Edinburgh.

When she's not typing away at her favourite cafe, Skye loves dried mango, as much exotic tea as she can squeeze into her cupboards, and being covered in pet hair by her tiny black cat (who's secretly a demon).

This series started out really good, but in the last book it just started plunging, and now it's just not enjoyable.

When we last saw Kat she was in labor with a battle going on around her. This book begins right there as the guys win the battle and Kat gives birth to four very unusual babies.

She's also not doing well, still bleeding and they need to get back home, it's a long and arduous journey. Once there she finds the Mayor, Lady Lara has a surgeon waiting with ultrasound to see why Kat's still bleeding. Healing is going to take a while, and Kat also finds the reasons human mothers switch to bottle feeding.

While still reconnecting with her mates, she is already plotting revenge on Lord Delaney. She owes him a painful death for all he's done to her. Meanwhile there have been murders around the area of Lady Lara's offices. Unusual in the fact that a Fang coin has been left with the bodies. Lady Lara realizes it's a threat and she wants Kat to investigate.

One of the things that amused me are the nicknames being used for her children, Tailie the only male, who just happens to have a tail, Biter and Vamp, they have very sharp teeth and like to bite while nursing and Furrie who sports fur in human form. They need real names and a naming ceremony is planned and carried out.

I think the naming ceremony is the most peaceful scene in the whole book and it involves all of Kat's mates as well as her friends.

Things heat up even quicker after that, with plenty of action and so much more, as this book and this series reaches it's conclusion.

With plenty of love, intrigue, action, laughter, tears and sizzle this is the purrrrfect ending!

After all Kat and her mates have gone through, it's finally time to set things to right. But they still have a long way to go. In this final installment of the series, Kat gives birth to four adorable babies, and after recovering she sets off to get revenge for all she and her team have gone through. But there's a sinister plan in motion from the Fangs and she'll have her work cut out for her. The book is action-packed, full of adventure, mystery, suspense, drama and romantic moments between Kat and her mates.

And although this series is complete, I wouldn't be surprised if there were spin-offs (hint, hint!) Personally, I wouldn't mind that at all!!! I'd love to find out what happens next with Pumpkin and Kat's siblings :)

Kat goes into labor while they are on the road but they finally make it back home. Her four babies are part human and part shifter and have some pretty interesting features. Her nicknames for them were hilarious! Kat is still dealing with the trauma she went through while kidnapped but she has to trust her mates to help her get through it. Kat does get to kill some mutants and finally gets to kill the Delaney’s, the couple who kidnapped her.
The ending is a happy one but is left open for spin-offs or follow-up novellas.
I received an ARC from the author. This is my honest review.

GREAT STORY - POOR EDITING

I have absolutely LOVED reading this series! The stories and plots are intriguing, the characters are phenomenal and they have all been well written and easy to read and follow- with the exception of this last book. Details were off, there were many inconsistencies and, at one point, an entire paragraph was repeated. It made it hard to read and follow the story and was frustrating.

That said, I highly recommend the series to anyone that enjoys shifter or fantasy RH books.

It is an okay last book. There are more mutants, action, sirens, and their siren ways. Well, not Giffin or his aunt...ok, not all of them.
Kat is Kat, so stubborn, annoying sometimes but brave and strong.
There is a death in this book, but I didn't really bond with the character lost.
I enjoyed the babies and how they developed and the funny way Kat sees them. Oh, and I love the added catnip!
There are some lovely steamy scenes but loving and not at all kinky smut.
This book is good, not great but good. It doesn't inspire me to say much more.

Kat and her men are back and oh man is Kat in a mood. She has her babies and oh the descriptions of them are so cute. So as Kat juggles motherhood, she is also trying to find Delaney to exact her vengeance. It seems like there is always something that comes up that tries to keep her from what she needs to do. Will her and the guys be able to stop what is coming. All I can say is that even though Kat had her babies she is still the same. Be ready for an amazing end to this series.

This was a wonderfully well-written story of love, suspense, action and cat puns. This story is book 7 in the Catnip Assassins Series with interesting characters. These characters are very well crafted and you feel you know them and feel their feelings, frustrations, and victories. This is a must read. It is a full-length slow burn reverse harem full of action, intrigue, romance, and humor.

Roar is book seven in the Catnip Assassins series and it picks up where book six left off. The guys have won the battle and Kat just had four interesting babies. There's a lot going on in the final book of the series and I definitely recommend this book and this series to everyone who loves interesting characters, cat puns and entertaining storylines. I look forward to reading the next great series by this amazing author. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

And it's over! Kat has her babies and my god the names! Too funny! We get some cute moments with Kat and her mates as well. The ending is left open for spin-offs and additional books or novellas which is awesome because who wants to say goodbye? No one! But with FMC like Kat it's hard to put the final book down that's for sure.

This starts where the last book ended, surrounded and Kat in labour! She is not doing well after the birth of her 4 babies and they need to find out what is wrong as well as get to the bottom of all the trouble they have been facing. Packed full of drama steam and romance this is a fantastic conclusion to an amazing series and I adore the nicknames the babies get!

This is the final book in the Catnip Assassins series and let me tell you Kat has been fighting for survival since book one. The action and adventure in this series has kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. Kat and her men have been through so much but their relationship is just as strong now as it was when it first started. That ending was a total shocker to me though !

So sad this is the end! Has been a wonderful series, loved it so much. This was action packed as usual, filled with shockingly enough to Kat, emotion. Not surprising, with babies aka her litter, and her men as well as the family she's grown over time. A fitting ending.

Great overall, but there were quite a few strange errors, including a repeated paragraph in Chapter 20. A nice finish to a fun series.

This was pretty good. Loved the start of it but then it felt so rushed and ended quickly. I would have like a bit more around the ending instead of it jumping forward a year. But still really enjoyed this book.

Skye MacKinnon purrfectly concludes the Catnip Assassins Series with book seven, ROAR. Kat and the crew continue their battle for survival. They now have four unique babies. The action does not stop. There are fascinating twists. The characters continue to grow. It was a fun and entertaining read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
