When all is lost, there’s only one option left. Fight back.
London burns. The Prophets are dead, and the only one left to suffer the consequences is the man they held under their thumb. Bloodied, broken and beaten, James Stone has lost it all.
Except for Sergeant Pennock. With nothing left to lose, Stone and Pennock must run. Fugitives to their country, with eyes burning into them from every direction, they have but one chance to bring some justice to the horrors that have plagued them all the way back from the graveyard of empires.
For their greatest enemy still stands, and vengeance is coming.
The Damned and The Buried is the climatic finale to The Killing Business trilogy, and thrusts journalist turned fugitive, James Stone into a world where second chances are rare, and survival will be bloody.
I have read almost all of the James Stone thrillers and I think this is the best one yet. We get an idea of why James is considered a terrorist. Well written with plenty of twists to keep you interested. I would highly recommend this book. I received this book as an ARC and this is my honest review.
