I draw the line at Christian romance. This red truck book will have to be excluded from my Christmas reading challenge. No one wants me to read or review this, most notably myself.

Mrs. Claus is at it again! The Jimenez family is due to get one more visit. Pablo's turn has arrived! He has been fearful of the sparkly little package that his sister
left on his desk. Why? Portia Princeton limps into his Mechanic/Auto body shop on her Vintage Trucks last legs or do we say wheels? She knows it was a bad
idea now to try and do this trip pulling her little vintage camper along behind.
Pablo worked hard to get his shop, and fulfill his dream of being a Mechanic and Auto Body repairman. He is the best around.
Portia is a young woman who has lived in the lap of luxury and has had everything she ever wanted given to her.
They are like oil and water, but will that change with time? Can they overcome the different paths they walked growing up? Once again Danni Roan has brought
two people together and given them a path to take and left it up to them to figure out just how to do it! I truly enjoy her books and this entire series written by

Portia's trip is cut short when her classic truck breaks down literally on Pablo's garage forecourt. She leaves it there to be repaired and he tows her trailer to his family house, where they have a trailer park on the lakeside. They initially rub each other up the wrong way, however this gradually changes whilst she learns to live the area and he carries out a full refurbishment of the truck. Mrs Claus is involved in trying to bring the two together, but things don't go smoothly.
I read this as part of the Christmas in July romance series and have read and enjoyed the previous books in the Ornamental Match Makers series. Mrs Claus and her husband Santa are the common theme, with a special ornament central to the story, in this case the little red truck. A touch of humour is mixed in with the romance to give a satisfying read to lift your spirits.

From two different worlds...but they share the same love

Hmmm, Pablo had some work to do here, in Anita's book he was judgemental, rude and very hard to like. But here he seems to have learnt from his mistakes and is not quite as defensive! Don't get me wrong he can still be stubborn, short tempered and a little blinkered but he is also trying to be more patient, open to discussion and never shys from hard work...love and romance however...you won't see him for dust!
Pablo and Portia may be from opposite worlds but they share a love of old vehicles and restoration, the fireworks between them prove they also share romantic love, can they find their own world somewhere between the two?

Portia discovers very fast that going on a trip with her old beat up truck was not her smartest move, or was it...... Pablo is not really happy with Portia who comes in his garage when she turns his life up side down. But will getting to know each other changes that all with a little ornament as help?
Fun sweet story with very different characters who after a couple of misunderstandings find their HEA. I had to chuckle reading the last sentences.

This is a cute little Christmas in July pick me up. Pablo and Portia are from different worlds with some common interests. The differences could get in their way, making them miss out on something good. A little nudge from Mrs. Claus should head them in the right direction. I found the notion of Mrs. Claus matchmaking with the help of some ornaments intriguing and fun. *I was gifted a copy for my honest opinion.*

The fact that Portia, a woman who had been raised with wealth her entire life, and Pablo, a man who had to work hard his entire life, met and fell in love after experiencing many ups and downs, made this novel one of my favorites. I cherished their shared passion of vintage vehicles and other antiques. I also appreciate how grounded Portia's father is. I adore vintage anything, especially vintage trucks. Danni did a fantastic job on both this book and the entire series. I heartily urge anyone looking for excellent Christian literature to read this series.

Christmas Miracles in July!

Portia and Pablo are thrown together in their mural interest of the restoring of Portia's 1942 red Ford truck. Unbeknownst to them, Pablo's deceased parents (now know as Mr and Mrs Claus, ) are hard at work in bringing them together in a forever love.

This is a fun read!

I have been following this family since the series started. I absolutely love how Danni wrote Pablo's story! A great opposites attract love story. Also love the little hints thrown in about a certain couple and their part in this family.

Sweet and Sassy

The spoiled little rich girl knows what she likes and has the spunk to go after it. This is just a fun, clean, for action romance. I loved the twist at the very end. This is a happy story the doctor ordered to get my thoughts off my troubles.

Great Christmas Series

I'm really enjoying this series. Pablo and Portia came from two different worlds but love finds a way. It was good to catch a glimpse of Carlos and Nita from previous books. I look forward to more books in the series.

I do enjoy this series and that I don't have to read them in order to enjoy the stories. I enjoyed this story and the characters in it. I do love how Mrs. Claus works her matchmaking skills in each story. As usual entertaining and well written.

Then she sped into his life and things went south.

The Ornamental Match Maker series is a fun holiday and Christmas in July beach read. Danni Roan's short paragraphs with lots of dialog moves the plot along with a few unexpected secrets or twists. Enough of the back story is included. Some mystery - who leaves the ornaments, which hopefully leads to romance. July’s Christmas Red Truck Rendezvous is an entertaining read. As a Michigander who lived in a rural north Michigan community, Danni Roan’s description of the area and the Mighty Mac is spot on. A delightful summer read with likable characters, flowing plots, and a believable resolution, with a last page unique twist. First impressions are not always lasting impressions.
