A safe biker story is hard to come by. While I’m not wild about single parents (especially dads) I can take it easier in a situation like this where the child is an adult and the mother isn’t in the picture.
-no cheating
-no ow/om drama
-virgin heroine
-hero - not clear on how long he was celibate
-no others after meeting
-no violence of a sexual nature
-just ok epilogue that wasn’t very far into the future

Series starting again!!! This was a pretty fast pace novella with some steamy moments.
Link gets asked to babysit a brothers old lady old friend since their has been a hit on his family so he's watching Harlowe and thinking shes a youngggggg little girl. And as for Harlowe shes enjoying spending time with her old friend and getting some tiny butterflies when she was with Link. This one was better than the last one but I’m tapping out.
They’re short throwaway reads. Great for a failing book challenge but honestly not much else. This is basically the same as the last one but Harlowe wasn’t quite as wishy washy as Bridget.

Finally!
Been waiting for soooo long for this book. I loved My Father’s Rival. Here we get Link and Harlowe’s story. Insta-love with a great story line. Harlowe needs protection and her brother sends her to The Silver Saints. Link is older,but it doesn’t stop him from pursuing Harlowe. Great epilogues and HEA!

Oh I loved me some Link!!! The moment that he spotted Harlowe, he knew she was going to be his. He tried to fight his feelings when he found out who she was for a total of 2.3 seconds and then it was game over. Harlowe felt the instant attraction to Link it knew the age difference would be a problem. Instead it wasn’t and they were on fire from the beginning.
Harlowe was a strong independent sassy woman that could hold her own but melted for Link.
Link was a single dad to Larissa (h in Her Alpha). He was all alpha and would do absolutely anything to protect the ones he loved!
Now I can’t wait for the rest of the Silver Saints MC. I need Don’s story!!!

OMG ya’ll this is Link’s book, Larissa’s dad from Her Alpha, you know, her take no crap dad that treats her like a precious princess...yup, her dad. And I loved seeing him lose control...quick. I have been “patiently” *shakes head* waiting for his book, and it definitely did not disappoint right from the first chapter. Lmao, this book starts out with him thinking he has to babysit the “kid”....honestly this whole scene had me laughing so damn hard. Because his club members couldn’t wait to see his reaction after he saw her...priceless 🤣

Oh, the wait for Link's story was soooo worth it.
I absolutely loved this story. MC stories are a total hit or miss for me and I have to do a lot of research on an MC book before thinking of reading it. With this author though, I just knew I was going to love it.

Link is good read. Link is Silver Saints MC Treasurer but when everyone else is busy he gets stuck on babysitting duty. He thinks he's going be watching a kid and it's kind of funny when it's a 20 year woman named Harlowe. There is a bit of an age difference between the two. Harlowe is a year older then Link's daughter. Link is alpha and protects what's his. Harloew is sassy and sweet. They have an instant connection and it's cute. They have a great connections and some hot scenes but there is also danger lurking too.

The way I understand it is that this was a story that was never intentionally going to be written but I’m here to tell you that I have never been so glad they did. We met Link, Larrisa’s dad in a previous story and I was instantly intrigued by him and had to know more. He is a hot, alpha silver fox member of the Silver Saints MC and raised Larrisa by himself. He is more of a loner until he is stuck babysitting a friend of a friend baby sister who needs their protection. This is where things go from 0 to 60 in 2.5 seconds, when he is introduced to Harlowe and starks fly. I loved everything about this story and of course Fiona Davenport does not disappoint with all the sexy hotness!!! Buckle up ladies, this is a RIDE!

This series is getting worse. It's like some 12 year old wrote a wattpad story with breeding kink andvirgin kink, also what is with this old man and young woman thing, she is a year older than his daughter. The leads met and fell for each others cause they both are hot and slept within 24 hrs of them meeting. They don't even know a thing about each other and fell in love. I need a good book to read.

This book I enjoyed a lot more. I was not sure if I wanted to read this book or Her Alpha about his daughter first but in the end I was in a motorcycle club mood. I loved all the interactions with the club brothers and how they protect their own. I like how each guy is attracted to different girls for different reason. I felt the connection between these two and now I need to read the next book. Love this quick read.

While this is part of the Silver Saints series, you also see Link in Her Alpha by Fiona Davenport because Larissa is Link's daughter and you see him make an appearance in Her Alpha.
Pretty quick read. He's 38. She's 20 and needing protection. He wasn't onboard at first until he saw her and then he couldn't keep his hands to himself.

Another good read
This second book in the series is a good read. A bit predictable, insta-alpha-love and all, but enjoyable all the same.
These characters are easy to like and the pages turn themselves. I recommend this series.

The cover model definitely doesn’t match the description of a thirty-eight year old seasoned biker

Good at his job, he makes the club a lucrative income from investments and other financial opportunities. He receives a cut of all the net profits and a salary. He’s not known for his conversational skills. Unless it was his brothers and their families.
Scout’s old lady Cat received a call from an old friend, growing up, they lived next door, a family with two kids, Huntley and Harlowe. Huntley was two years older than Cat and his sister was a few years younger. They were friends, but after Huntley left for the military, she stepped in and watched out for Harlowe. She hadn’t heard much from Huntley since he joined the SEALs, but he suddenly contacted her.
His team had been deployed on a recent mission. News reports of a military raid that had taken out someone of importance in a terrorist organisation was broadcasted by the media news outlets for weeks. Receiving a call in the middle of the night from her brother, he directed her to get out of town because the identity of his unit had been compromised, and their families were at risk.
Needing protection for Harlowe (the baby sister), Cat approached Mac, the President asking if they could offer her protection.
Assigning him babysitting duty wasn’t part of his Link’s job description.
“I haven’t seen her in a few years, but she was always a good kid,” Cat piped up. “She was shy and on the quiet side. It should be pretty easy to keep her safe.”
“Good,” I grunted. “When does the kid get here?”
“Tomorrow,” Scout answered.
“And how long am I stuck with her?”
Mac gave me a hard stare. “Until the job is f……. done, Link.”
My attention shifted to the front door as some guy strode out of the clubhouse like a man on a mission. He was a good fifteen years older than me with short ash-blond hair and blue eyes that reminded me of the shade I’d picked out for the Charger. He had a chin strap that matched the color of his hair, though it was peppered with a little gray. He was tall and even under his leather vest, it was easy to see through his tight black T-shirt that he was ripped. The muscle definition in his arms made me want to see if he could do a push-up while I was on his back.
A case of instant lust, he’s disgusted with lusting after someone a year older than his daughter. Suddenly feeling like a dirty old man, especially since his body hadn’t gotten the memo. The scowl on his face matched his mood, and normally, that would be enough to have people shaking in their boots. But Harlowe didn’t seem intimidated. She smiled and winked, throwing me for a loop. “You know, all that gruffness does is make you sexier.”
“Is this the kid you were expecting, Link?” Rider asked as he ambled up next to me. I didn’t miss his teasing tone and made a mental reminder to kick his a*s later.
“My eyes were still glued on Harlowe, and they narrowed when she leaned toward Cat and stage-whispered, “Is being hot a requirement to join this MC?”
A growl rumbled in my throat, and I bent to grab Harlowe's bag from the ground, then snatched her hand and started dragging her toward the clubhouse. Even though I had no intention of claiming Harlowe, I still felt like a f…… caveman. The thought caused me to slow my pace and glance back to make sure I wasn't going too fast.
When Link discovered Harlowe’s skills with motorcycles, it turned on his lust switch, so much so, that they never made it back to his room. She couldn’t wait to see how he reacted to her handling a gun like a pro.
Huntley makes contact to relay that there’s been a hit put out on Harlowe, which is quickly dealt with by way of a rubbish bin and petrol. Once the threat is assessed and neutralised, Huntley’s “Now, are you going to tell me who the hell you are?”

Link (Silver Saints MC Club #2) by Fiona Davenport
HERO - Lincoln “Link” Nash. Silver Saints MC Club Treasurer. Short ash-blond hair, blue eyes. Chin strap beard peppered with gray. Tasked with "baby-sitting" young Harlowe.
HEROINE - Harlowe Reed. Wavy, honey-blonde hair with streaks of pink. Hazel eyes. Has a target on her back and seeks protection from the Silver Saints. Definitely not, however, in need of "baby-sitting".
OVERALL THOUGHTS - I think I liked this one better than My Father's Rival. Link had no dialogue in that book so I had no idea what to expect of his character. Of course, it's Fiona Davenport so he's naturally a great hero. He loves his daughter, he loves numbers, and he loves working on his bike. Once Harlowe enters the picture, he realizes he loves her, too. So much so, he’d do anything (and eventually does do anything) to keep Harlowe safe.
Harlowe loves working on cars and, thanks to her military brother, knows a thing or two about self-defense and wielding a weapon. She may be younger and less experienced than Link, but she's got enough confidence and sass to keep up with him. The two really made a great pair.
We got to meet more club members, including Dom, whose book is next. We saw some familiar faces, too, like Dax, whose story I’m particularly interested in because . I did think it was weird that Dom
I still think it’s weird that this series crosses over with their shifter series. Larissa and Kace from Her Alpha make an appearance at the end, but . I just don’t get the purpose of it.
We see a lot more of Cat in this one, but sadly, while Bridget (the heroine of book 1) is mentioned a few times, we don’t get any dialogue from her. The timeline of this book takes place before the epilogue of book 1 so there isn't any future insight to Bridget and Mac.
Oh! And this book also took a weirdly dark turn towards the end. It just seemed out of place in a story that was otherwise pretty tame.
Despite all my misgivings, the story itself was good and I'd probably read it again.

HERO - Lincoln “Link” Nash. Silver Saints MC Club Treasurer. Short ash-blond hair, blue eyes. Chin strap beard peppered with gray. Tasked with "baby-sitting" young Harlowe.
HEROINE - Harlowe Reed. Wavy, honey-blonde hair with streaks of pink. Hazel eyes. Has a target on her back and seeks protection from the Silver Saints. Definitely not, however, in need of "baby-sitting".
OVERALL THOUGHTS - I think I liked this one better than My Father's Rival. Link had no dialogue in that book so I had no idea what to expect of his character. Of course, it's Fiona Davenport so he's naturally a great hero. He loves his daughter, he loves numbers, and he loves working on his bike. Once Harlowe enters the picture, he realizes he loves her, too. So much so, he’d do anything (and eventually does do anything) to keep Harlowe safe.
Harlowe loves working on cars and, thanks to her military brother, knows a thing or two about self-defense and wielding a weapon. She may be younger and less experienced than Link, but she's got enough confidence and sass to keep up with him. The two really made a great pair.
We got to meet more club members, including Dom, whose book is next. We saw some familiar faces, too, like Dax, whose story I’m particularly interested in because . I did think it was weird that Dom
I still think it’s weird that this series crosses over with their shifter series. Larissa and Kace from Her Alpha make an appearance at the end, but . I just don’t get the purpose of it.
We see a lot more of Cat in this one, but sadly, while Bridget (the heroine of book 1) is mentioned a few times, we don’t get any dialogue from her. The timeline of this book takes place before the epilogue of book 1 so there isn't any future insight to Bridget and Mac.

Commentary: We already met Link in Her Alpha - he was Larissa's dad, and it was clear then that he needed his own story. WOW!! Fab*u*lous Absolutely love this one!! I couldn't put this one down. This was a nice quick, short read.
Link/Lincoln and Harlowe met when her brother Huntley asks Silver Saints to protect his sister while he's on a military mission. Link is asked by Mac Mac to go on babysitting duty. Link is the Sliver Saints treasurer and just finished raising his daughter Larissa Her Alpha all by himself after her mother abandoned her. When Harlowe arrives at the compound everyone gets a kick out of her since they all thought she would be just a kid instead she's twenty one. Harlowe arrives in her father's restored 1969 Dodge Charger. Harlowe found out from her brother Huntley that someone is after her after it was leaked through the military he was on a mission and things went sideways. Until the threat is eliminated Huntley wants his sister Harlowe protected, so he called the old neighbor Cat who's involved with the Sliver Saints. Link goes out in search of Harlowe but instead finds Cat talking to a woman who he finds very attracted. When Link asks about Harlowe he finds out the woman standing in front of him is her. Link takes Harlowe to his room instead of the spare room he was going to give her. While Harlowe is asleep, she is woken by Link coming into the room and climbing into bed with her. Harlowe kicks Link, and gets him good, but he blocks her and tells her to settle down. Soon Link has Harlowe pinned to the bed, and starts to kiss her, then he pleasures her. Link finds out that Harlowe is a virgin, so he tells her to get some rest he'll be there in the morning. When Link wakes in the morning Harlowe is rubbing his back and tracing his tattoos. Harlowe asks about Links wife since she knows about his daughter Larissa. Then Link claims her mouth, he pleasure Harlowe and they make love. Link takes a shower then draws Harlowe a bath he tells her not to leave is room without his cut on her. Link tells Harlowe he has club business and he should only be gone a few hours. When Harlowe realize Link is gone longer then she thought she heads downstairs to finds something to eat. Harlowe finds Cat in the kitchen making food, so she offers to help. Harlowe's stomach growls and soon they find Dom Dom who is suppose to be watching over her while Link is going. Harlowe fixes sandwiches for everyone then Dom tells her he'll be in the garage, but she insist on going with him. Harlowe helps Dom with is bike repairs and soon Link is back and jealous when he finds out what she's capable of doing. Several days pass Link and Harlowe are getting to know one another. While lying in bed, Link and Harlowe having someone knocking on his door. Scout comes to tell Link he's taking over watching Harlowe since he's the one that her brother Huntley wanted watching her. Link tells Scout he'll be watching Harlowe from now on since he's making her his old lady. Link takes Harlowe and gives her his cut and makes everyone aware she's his. Link and Scout want Harlowe to learn how to shot a gun so they take her to the gun range. Link shows Harlowe how to hold a gun and all the safety. Link and Scout start making bets on Harlowe until she bets them both she can land a shot right between the eyes on the target. Link and Scout take the bet and Harlowe shows them how she knows how to fire a gun. Scout realizes Harlowe played them. Gun shot ring out and Link pulls Harlowe to the ground, Scout finds out that there's a hit out on Harlowe. Link gets Harlowe back to the clubhouse while Scout, Mac and Dax Dax try and figure out who's took the hit and is after Harlowe. Link puts Harlowe in the safe room, with Cat and goes to find Mac, Scout and Dax. They find out who took the hit, put the police on the rival club and their compound is then raided. Link, Mac, Scout and Dax head to the rival club compound and are able to find the man who is after Harlowe. Link asks him a few questions, after he answers them he puts a bullet between his eyes. Mac tells Link to take care of everything so that he can get back to Bridget. Link gets back to the clubhouse he tells Scout to let Harlowe know he'll be with her after he calls her brother. Harlowe is headed to Links room when he finds her, they both head to their room. Link fills Harlowe in on what happened and lets her know she no longer has a hit on her. Harlowe asks Link if she can leave the clubhouse and he tells her she's not going anywhere she's staying with him forever. Harlowe tells Link she doesn't want to stay in his room forever, so he tells her he'll take her to his house. Link pleasures Harlowe then she makes love to him. Link puts a ring on Harlowe's finger and tells her they're getting married. A few months later, Harlowe is pregnant and sleeping when Link goes out and gets a tattoo for her.
