Brilliantly written story about being green with envy! Blade, who happens to be a blade of grass, rears his envious head at his cousin Augustine for having a better life than him. This cute book teaches children that the grass isn't always greener on the other side! No pun intended. A heartwarming and humorous reminder to appreciate our own patch of life.

I absolutely adore the main character Blade as this piece of grass watches its cousin bask in the sun and enjoy the bright side of life.

Blade takes a leap of faith to join its cousin and see if the grass is really greener on the other side.

The illustrations are so fitting and the message is spot on. Our kids had some giggles at the end as well and this book opened up great discussion about what envy is and how to handle those feelings.

A really fun story about jealousy and how the grass is not always greener. A great book for teaching children to be grateful for what they have and to not always compare what they have to what other people have. Things aren't always what they seem.
Gorgeous illustrations and a funny ending. Children will really enjoy this story.

❤️

My children love these little books. They thoroughly enjoy each and every story, as if they are all unique and individual without any cause for similarity among them. Even though sometimes, they might seem tedious and repetitive to me as a parent, I do enjoy being able to read short-stories to my children that are clean and respective.

Envious lesson

Green with Envy is an absolutely cute little book explaining to children why just because it looks like someone else has something better isn't always the case. It delivers the message of enjoying who you are and where you are in the moment in a light hearted way!

This book is adorable!
It’s about two blades of green grass.
One blade thinks the other blade across the yard has a better life, more sun, better view...
This wonderful story teaches kids and adults to appreciate what we already have.
The illustrations are vibrant and beautiful!

The grass is not always greener on the other side.

A unique little picture book about being thankful for what you have. Blade is literally a 'blade of grass' who lives on the edge of the garden in the shade. He is jealous of his cousin Augustine. She lives in the middle of the garden and Blade thinks her the centre of attention.

However, things are not what they seem and when Blade manages to up-root himself he is in for a rude awakening. What will the outcome be. Check it out for yourselves. Happy Reading.
