Really liked this book. The plot has ticken yet again and I am here for it. I love the whole mystery thing. Frost has wanted Indiana since the moment he saw her and it's time to make her his. Indiana needed a good man in her life and he was exactly that. Being the son of Paige and Demon, he was nothing like I expected, he has a little but of his father but not much. Loved them together and can't wait to read more of these books

Riding the Line was the second book in the Devil’s Knights 2nd Generation series by Winter Travers. Although not completely necessary, I recommend reading the series in order.

Frost was the son to Demon and Paige (book seven, original series). He had been watching Indiana for the last year. Indiana was a dancer at the strip club owned by the MC. She had come to town for a new beginning.

The previous book left a major plot open, a serial killer was on the loose and killing women connected to the MC strip club; therefore, all the women were in lockdown at the MC for protection. Travers took the opportunity to develop the friendship and relationship between Frost and Indiana during lockdown. The serial killer plot will continue throughout the series but Travers then began another plot that involved Indiana’s past, which added a bit of suspense to the overall storyline. I enjoyed getting to know both characters and ride along during their initial discoveries.

Travers also demonstrated the “crazy” from the original series by having the first generation front and center throughout the storyline. It was interesting looking at them twenty years later.

I enjoyed the overall storyline; however, so many details were skipped that were necessary and pertinent. I assumed the details were left out so that it could be told in the next book - or for a spinoff series. But I wanted those details and felt it was too much a part of the plot to be overlooked. If it wasn’t going to be the main plot, then I wanted something else as the focal point. Additionally, the book ended abruptly - as a teaser, but I needed an epilogue. Frost and Indiana are assumed a HFN versus an HEA but I needed more.

Overall, it was enjoyable and a great addition to the series, I just wanted more now before moving on to the next one! Therefore, my rating was a 3.5, which rounded to a 4 on this rating site. The story and writing were great, but just unfinished. Onward and upward to book three!

Loved Frost and Indiana!!

Indiana works the pole at the Devil's Knights MC club and Frost has had his eyes on her for two years. With a serial killer out there all the girls have been moved to the clubhouse but Indiana has another problem on her hands and Frost is just the man to help her out. Now is when they make their connection and its Frost who is there to help Indiana out in more ways than one.

This book was action packed and left me at the edge of my seat turning pages as fast as I could. Needless to say I was hooked and loved this couple. The steam was hot and the action was nonstop and the humor that was slipped in was just what I needed for a little breather. Just be prepared for the ending because it left me with my jaw hitting the floor. I highly recommend this books and I can't wait to see what comes next.

I check this authors website all the time to see when a new book is out.
This one was exactly what I needed. I loved seeing all the old faces around the clubhouse. This second generation is proving to be just as hot, sexy, funny, dramatic, eccentric, suspenseful and so much more.

Things does not seem to be settling down around the clubhouse. One mad man was captured but it seems like the serial killer is still out there.
Now another problem has arouse. Indiana's friend has gone missing and it seems like Frost and the Devils Knights are just the ones to help her out.

Definitely action right through this book. With the OG and their women hanging out its never a dull moment with this family

Riding The Line has us riding hard and fast with the Devil’s Knights MC again. As the OG’s and the second generation entertain us with the witty banter and their special kind of crazy that we love so much, Frost and Indiana finally put the staring aside and make a move. As suspense, kidnapping and murder swirl around the clubhouse these two will be drawn to each other and will find their home within each other. A story that will make you laugh, hold your breath and fall in love. Frost and Indiana’s story is action packed, unpredictable, flirty, hilarious and has an ending you won’t see coming.

I really enjoyed Indy and Frost's story. The OC's are hilarious, I couldn't stop laughing at their antics. Indy is going to fit just fine. Frost and Indy's chemistry was as strong as couples in Winter's other books. But the story was great and I can't wait to see what happens next.

Wow !

I love this series so much.
The characters are so good , funny as hell , loyal to the bone and all love each other deep. As much as I loved the story line in this book I hated the ending I'm not a reader who likes cliffhangers and this one ended on me yelling out " no freaking way " at 12.30 am in the morning I am not amused lol .. I can't wait to find out what happens next !
I love the shannigans with Meg and Cyn I had so many laugh out loud moments those to crack me up but I love how their men still think they walk on water regardless of their hilarious banter and trouble making schemes . I have to do a re read one day of the entire series I miss it .

This was just an okay read for me. I am one of the few who was just not loving it. I found the plot to be boring and the main characters very like-able but, I didn't find them to be lovable, and I was waiting somewhere along the line to connect with its main characters and it just didn't happen for me. For me, the story was missing that IT factor that we all crave.

I actually think the old ladies made this entire story. I found them to be funny, and they made me laugh out loud with their camaraderie and Cyn and Meg were just a riot.

We really liked Frost overall he was a really nice guy, and we liked it when he got all possessive but, when he tried to go all alpha it just didn't work because he was just too nice of a guy.

Indy/Indiana was also a likable character, and we loved how easily she fit into the club with the men and ladies and found her shyness to be cute considering what she did for a living.

Zig and Zig and their constant teasing back and forth we found funny and the camaraderie among the members made me a smile a time or two and made things interesting.

Overall I just thought the story was lacking almost halfway through the book still no real romance no heat and where was all the suspense? Where was the chemistry between these main characters? And the ending what the heck was that?

I loved the Devil's Knights 1st generation but this 2nd series has just blown me away - it's a fast paced romance but slow burn at the same time. I alway's thought the first Devil's Knight's and their ladies were unique but this time around the kids are not only a chip of the ole block they take it to another level with their sass, the way they argue as only a group of people growing up together can but importantly the young men when they find the one as did their dad's they protector and love with everything they have.
"Whether it be having hem close by or using things to keep them safe, we would do it!"

Indiana has been a pole dancer at the Devil's Knights bar for a couple of year's moving away from her home town wasn't easy especially leaving her best friend Royal but when things broke down between Indiana's boyfriend who happens to be Royal's brother she knew she needed to start over.

Now the club is in lock down since in the last book girls from the club are being killed! From the moment Frost saw Indiana he has wanted her but has never made move. It's becoming quite a joke amongst the group. But now with Indiana's ex back on the scene and asking for Indiana's and the club's help as Royal has got herself in trouble with a bad gang Frost knows it's time to lay claim to his woman. Indiana has always been drawn to Frost but she is new to the club and a pole dancer and one day Frost is probably going to be VP of the club. But what Frost want's he gets! But when another girl dies and things heat up when trying to get Royal back you know the next book is going to be just as explosive! I can't wait! 'Riding the Line' though can be read as a stand alone!

I love the interplay between Frost and his brothers Zig and Zag the twins although a couple of years older they still act as if they are 15! I had some laugh out loud moments when Sara, King the Pres wife and Cyn Frosts mom return from a trip. Priceless! Winter Travers at her best!

I love the second gen Devil's Knights books! We get the goodness of the OGs and the freshness of their offspring in one book. Frost and Indie were hot as southern summer night! One thing about it, when a Devil's Knights member has his eye on a gal, she doesn't stand a chance. The back-and-forth banter between Frost and Indie plus the wild shenanigans of Meg & Cyn as background noise constantly kept me focused on the story. I blew through this book in a couple of hours because I wanted to get to the end so bad...Indie's ex, Grit showing up, added to the story, but he was instantly on my list of those who will not have their name spoken. He was a douche! His sister/Indie's friend Royal was in hot water and the Devil's Knights were willing to stick their neck out on the line because of Frost's feelings for Indie. Marco was also a focal point for me in this book, because I can't wait to see how the little mafia don has turned out as an adult. Two things are for certain with this author..she writes a first-class book that keeps you hanging on word by word and she can either give you a warm hug at the end of the book, or make you pull out your best funeral dress. Not a lot of in-between. I will say that the ending of this book /peek at the next installment was no exception! I cannot wait to get the next second gen book to read! Holy cheese balls! And...PUPPIES!!! Every book needs a good supporting puppy or two! I give the book five stars and the puppies five stars, too, because...PUPPIES!

So, Riding the Line is the second in the spin-off series Second Generation of the Devils Knights. I will definitely be reading the stories about their dads because the second generation is charming--if that is a word you use to describe bikers. Hmmm. Regardless this is a heck of a beginning, and I cannot wait for more.

Frost is "the quiet one," the exact opposite of his brothers. As we enter his story, we're learning he's being moved forward as one of the club's future leaders. He's best friends with Hero, who we met in Passing the Torch. We discover early on that he's fascinated with Indiana, one of the dancers from Sultry Knights, the strip bar owned by the club. We also have found from Passing the Torch; someone is murdering the club's dancers and waitresses.

Indiana and the rest of the girls are put on lockdown to protect them. In addition to this, Indiana has an unwelcome visit from her ex. A human trafficker is holding her best friend, and she's pregnant. In the midst of this, Frost and Indiana acknowledge their feelings for one another. All of this sets the stage for some tense scenes, hilarious scenes, and a doozy of a cliffhanger.

A lot is going on, mainly the serial killer is on the loose, what happened down in Florida, and who's next in the series? This book's banter, particularly between the first-generation characters, is hilarious and only adds to the fun this series is already shaping up to be. I am more than ready to read the next installment.

The second book of the second gen spin off series, and I do suggest reading the previous stories so that you are: A. caught up on all the drama that is happening, B. know who all the players are and C. not feel lost and confused. Heck, I have read the previous stories, and LOVED them and I found myself trying to figure out who certain people are. In the previous story the strippers all moved into the clubhouse to be protected from whoever is targeting them. Indiana/Indy is one of those strippers and has been working Sultry Knights for two years now, and pretty much for those two years Frost has been watching and waiting for the moment to make his move. Just so happens that Frost makes his move just as Indy's past comes back to bother her. Now the MC has to deal with the extra drama and try and help Indy with what's going on. Once Indy's drama is dealt with will she even want to stay with the Knights and with Frost or will she dip out once the trouble is done?

I'm going to say this and hope that this doesn't come off as bad, but this was not my favorite, in fact I think up to date this is my least favorite of all the stories. I really didn't get the chemistry between Frost and Indy; there was something missing between them and it was more than just the naughty bits that we really didn't get. There are so many characters that I kept trying to remember who everyone was, and with the added females the sassy moments were at an all time high which made for some funny moments. I give this 4 stars.

Fast paced, with action, drama and some funny bits this gives us the usual Winter Travers read we’ve come to know and love. I love that my favourite authors are now giving us next gen books as we get to stay in the worlds they have created and this is no different; we get the originals that dragged us into the series in the first place with the freshness of the kids all grown up. I can’t wait for the next one and give Riding the Line 4 stars.

Indiana needed a new beginning as after ending her relationship with ex the situation was complicated by the fact that his sister Royal was also her best friend. She has created a new life for herself working as a dancer at an establishment owned by the Devil’s Knights but with the dangerous threat surrounding them she finds herself staying at the clubhouse and it becomes a gamechanger.

Frost has been attracted to Indiana for a while, but it was either never the right time or the right place. Now that they find themselves in close proximity he isn’t about to let the opportunity go to waste especially when her past resurfaces and the danger surrounding the dancers isn’t the only danger she will be facing.

Witty interactions, intrigue, hot chemistry and a great cast of characters that will keep you entertained from beginning to end.

Riding the Line is book two in the Devil's Knights 2nd Generation series. While each book can be read as a standalone from a character standpoint, you will enjoy the stories more if you read in order is my opinion from a club aspect. Frost and Indiana (Indy) sure can Ride the Line with their feelings, but Frost is done waiting and it could not have happened at a better time. Of course, when the club is going well trouble blooms. It is awesome seeing how the next generation is handling this and how the OG crew is a part of the story. This club is hilarious and I don't know what is funnier in the story, the woman or the Church sessions. They truly are family though cause they did not have to do what they did. I love how a debt is now owed and how when we think all is good we see that it leads to more suspense and now have to wait to see what transpires. What a ROYAL pain! HAHA you will know what this means once you read the story. Too funny how much this generation is like their parents. I'm excited to see where the Devil is going to take us next.

Winter really knows how to tell a story and boy oh boy do I love that! In this story we get Indiana and Frost. Indiana is a dancer at the MC strip club and as we remember that the MC is on lockdown because of the person killing the girls at the strip club. This is when Frost starts to get to know Indiana better and the two of them take off from there. There is so much suspense through this story it had me flying through the pages trying to get to the end to see what was going to happen between these two and I was not disappointed.

Indiana is a stripper at the club belonging to the Devil's Knights. She and the other women end up staying at the club house because of danger. The shenanigans with the ladies and guys are just hilarious. A dangerous serial killer is lurking putting all the women in danger. Frost has been attracted to Indiana for a long time. The timing has always been wrong or something is off. The chemistry is strong between the couple. A good read.

OMG!! This story is hilarious! With a serial killer on the loose you wouldn’t think it was funny but I couldn’t stop laughing at the characters antics. With the ladies from from the strip club staying at the Devil’s Knights Clubhouse Frost can’t take his eyes off Indiana. He is slightly obsessed and they have major chemistry. They have been eyeing each other for two years now and this is the perfect opportunity for Frost to make his move. And you can’t forget the Ol’ Ladies and the shenanigans they get up to. I can’t wait for the next installment of this series!!

2.5 not safe for some groups. He saw her, felt things for her but since he sensed she wasn't ready he was with others. Some of the antics were over kill. Not a fan of paddling and that's of paddling. Just too many things that were not for me.

I really enjoyed this book. It was low angst, low drama and we got to see all our favorites from the og Devils Knights. Just like catching up with old friends.
Continuing the story from book 1 the club is in lockdown because of the mysterious murders happening. Frost has been watching Indy from afar and with her being at the clubhouse everyone is starting to notice. I enjoyed their flirting and back and forth banter.

Much as a I loved Reva and Hero, Frost and Indiana are my favorite couple in the 2nd generation! With a serial killer on the loose and two employees from the strip club have been killed, tensions are high. All the girls are living at the clubhouse to keep them safe. Indiana has felt safe with Frost from the moment they met. But he didn't do anything besides watch over her. Frost has watched and waited for the right time to approach her. That time is now. Then when a blast from Indiana's past comes rolling into town, it puts even more strain on the club and lights a fire in Frost. Indiana is his and he is going to protect her no matter the cost. This was a ninja book! You are going along, things are moving along nicely between Frost and Indiana. Even with the danger surrounding them, it is still pretty chill. Then out of nowhere, an event totally sucker punched me, like a shot of adrenaline right to the heart. Winter Travers is brilliant, that is all there is to it. She is an author that keeps you on your toes, on the edge of your seat. I can give no less than 10 stars for Riding the Line, it rocked!

First, did I miss the author saying it was going to end in a "cliffy" or "to be continued"? I don't remember this author doing this in any previous books and that is frustrating. One of my pet peeves that has turned me off of good authors and making me not return to their books is when they don't warn the reader about this. That being said, it was still a good book, but I really hope the author doesn't make this a habit. Sorry there isn't more about the book, but the ending...

*May contain spoilers, though I try not to*

I read the Devil 's Knights series and was sad when I finished then notice the start of the 2nd generation books. I loved the original series and when reading Passing the Torch (2nd generation book 1) I realized it was being written a bit differently, less intense and more joking and "craziness " to use the characters own words. But the book was still good so I didn't think much except even the older characters acted like they had some growing up to do.

Unfortunately, in this book that was reiterated to me and I would guess any other reader. The characters had changed and not Ina good way. King, who was portrayed prior as tough, intense but fair comes across as a jealous teenager (especially in Passing the torch) and a raving man who cannot control his MC or keep control who allows everyone to walk over him. The other men of the MC are not portrayed much better. In the first series the women the members of the MC fell in love with were portrayed as strong, independent women with sass but also did their best to follow the MC rules. Meg and Cyn were portrayed a little crazy but NOTHING as they were portrayed in this book. They way they were written this time around and described about in older books they sound like raving lunatics.

The new members, the 2nd generation, I understand the author trying to develop their characters to distinguish them from the elders of the MC but the ages that they were purported to be (late twenties) and the way they acted (sixteen) did not jive.

This book also seemed light on the MC way and just seemed chaotic.

The premise of this book is great and I wish this new series was as good as the previous, it is so different I wonder if it was written by the same author.

I am planning on reading book 3 to see what happens.

So I'm trying to think of what to say about this book. I will start out with I was really excited when I heard Mrs. Travers was coming out with this series. I couldn't wait to see all the Devil's Knights kid's all grown up and see how they held up to their parents. Again I'm alway's a bit weary going into a spin-off series with the kids, cause their either going to be a hit or a miss. So when I got to read the first book in this series Passing the Torch, Hero and Reva's story, I found myself to be a bit disappointed and lacking. But I wanted to try and give this series another chance.

I hope I don't spoil anything for anyone, if you haven't read the first book you might be a bit confused. But this book starts off right where the first book ended where everyone is staying at the clubhouse because there is a murder on the loose killing girl's from the strip club.

I have to admit that I really liked Indiana, aka Indy. She's a stripper for the club who finds herself in need of help from the club in finding her bestfriend Royal. I thought she was a sweet, kind and caring girl.

I actually loved Frost, if you don't know who Frost is well he's Demon and Paige's youngest son, Zig and Zag's brother. He seems to have a solid and straight head on him.

Although I enjoyed this book much better than the first book, I have to say once again it was missing the feeling of family. Although we see all the original OG's it doesn't seem as these are their kids. I don't know how to explain it, but this series is just missing the "IT" factor for me.

I'm giving this book 3.5 Stars out of 5!!!

*I received an ARC of this book for my honest review*

As always it was great being back with the Devil's Knights. This story was entertaining, easy to read, and the plot was well crafted and progressed naturally.

This book was a little different then previous books. Usually in the story something happens directly to one of the main characters and that didn't really happen in this book. There was no real action. The book felt more about everyone else rather then being mostly about Indiana and Frost, it was just told in their point of views.

I think this book was more about building up the story lines that are to come and helped us get to know all the 2nd gen characters better, as well as seeing what the OG's are up to. And we definitely get to know more about Indiana and Frost.

They are a sexy couple and are really sweet together. Indiana really comes out of her shell, with the help of Frost. Also, the OG ol' ladies really take a liking to her and pretty much take her under their wing. Frost is responsible and serious, more then his older twin brothers. He seems wise behind his years and will no doubt be an officer in the club one day.

I can't wait to see what happens in the next book!

Loving this series even more! I somehow missed the first generation of this series (I will be going back and reading at some point) but I’m loving how easy I have fallen into becoming obsessed with the second generation! Indiana has relocated to town after finally getting out of the bad situation she was in while living in Florida. Working as a stripper, she’s under the club’s protection as a serial killer is targeting all the girls at the club. While Frost has had his eye on Indiana (and her eye on him as well), they haven’t made a move until now, and things progress quickly. When Indiana’s past comes to town letting her know that her best friend is pregnant and kidnapped, Frost takes this as his time to prove to her how he feels and goes after rescuing her best friend. I loved getting to know these characters as well as see them grow and their chemistry continue to flourish. The cliffhanger at the end of this story though! I am so dang excited to see what happens next, especially with the tables turning and something explosive happening!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Can I just say that this 2nd generation is sure giving the originals a room for there money!

In this installment of the 2nd gen you get to see Frost (who is Demon and Paige's soon just an f. Y. I) and Indiana finally make good on those secret looks. You see the friendship kind of bloom in the first book. Also in the first book Winter left the Devil's Knights world wide open for a serial killer. Come on girl like 2020 isn't bad enough my people have to work about that. Now Indiana come to town for a fresh start bit when an ex tries to come and uproot that nice new beginning Frost is there to help her anyway he can. It just so happens that the club is 100% behind him also.

I loved this book. Not only did it kind of open another storyline but it also included the originals throughout the whole book instead of just here and there. I do wish I had a bit of some information but hey that's what series are made for too contrinue on the storyline where one book left off. So I can dig the way this book was written. But that ending tho was something else.
I'm trying to patiently wait for book three.

I have always loved 2nd generation books and Ms. Winters is giving us an awesome series with the Devil Knights 2nd Generation. Riding the Line is book 2 of this series and if you haven’t read book 1 - Passing the Torch - I highly recommend reading it first. Why? Because book 2 starts off where book 1 left off. The club is still on Lockdown and there is still a murderer on the loose. For Frost, the quiet guy in the MC, what better way to eyeball a girl he fancies (Indy) than to be in lock down with her. The trouble is everyone else is in a close proximity and sees Everything, and with the craziness of the Devil Knights 1st generation ol ladies - their seeing everything turns into - well you’ll see (don’t do spoilers).

Ms. Traver’s writing style is one I truly enjoy. The book is very well written with romance, suspense and laughs thrown too. Getting to see both generations in the book was fantastic as well as watching the young guys settling in and trying to live up to life that their parents created for them.

Highly recommend the Devil Knights series (both original and 2nd Gen.). Grab

This is the 2nd book in this 2nd generation series and is Frost and Indiana’s story. Indiana left her home-town after she broke if off with her ex, which also meant leaving her best friend Royal behind as she is the sister of the ex. Frost has wanted Indiana who is a pole dancer at the Devil’s bar, he knows that she is the one for him. When some of the girls are murdered the club goes into lockdown, and Indiana is in the club house as well, and when her ex shows up looking for Royal who has disappeared, he asks the club to help find her. Add in the crazy shenanigans from the old ladies who now are making plans for Indiana to give them pole dancing lessons, and their long-suffering partners, this story is hilarious from the very beginning. This is a beautifully written story which is fast paced, entertaining, humorous, and with secrets, danger, and witty banter, and I was totally captivated throughout this addictive page turner, and I look forward to reading more in this fascinating series, which I highly recommend for all MC lovers.
