In 1966, two children, nine-year-old Michael McCabe and his four-year-old sister, Catherine, disappear from a beachside suburb in northern New South Wales. Junior Constable Bill Kelliher has the privilege of working on the team assigned to the case, but the mystery is never solved. The file is put aside, but it's never closed. And Bill Kelliher never forgets.
Wow... What an amazing read this was. I had found this book by chance when on holiday in Tasmania at the place we were staying. In just 2 days I had already read up to 114 pages....
Then because I was so into this book my husband bought it for me n as soon as it came I was all over it just been another couple of days now and it's devoured. After a long long time this was the satisfying read. If you enjoy reading fast paced, thrilling books... Then this is it.
It took me far too long to get through this gem. It starts off cracking, and then seems to dip in the end of the first quarter, however, it really jumps back and drives on home to the end. I literally couldn't put it down once I got back into it! Such a shame there aren't anymore. A really great crime novel.
