Never date a race car driver. They strap themselves into a death rocket over and over again and think it's normal. I found King's focus and determination alluring at first (and okay, maybe the sense of danger was exciting too.)
But a year working side by side, watching him cheat death over and over again, has taken a toll. We're not happy and I don't have the stamina to stand by and watch as someone I care about risks their life.
I want to walk away from racing and from King to save my selfish heart, but instead of flying home from the last race of the season to pack up my life and move on, I wind up stranded.

Another good read
Oh isa and king . Being at the top can be lonely even if you are either someone. Communication. You might think you are living but you really aren't. Will they get an HEA??
