... An emotionally beautiful novella.

Wasn't that a perfect way to introduce an endless, timeless, and boundless love story that is to come?

Note: This is a friends to lovers romance.

This novella was about Lincoln and Molly who met each other at 8 and became inseparable through the years. Their journey from friends to husband and wife was everything perfect. Every word, every page, every moment that I lived through the story was filled with emotions. Alex Grayson made a fine job creating such sincere and soulful characters.

Forevermore has the vibes of A Girl Like Lilac, which was my recent read that I so much loved, and A Thousand Boy Kisses, which was one of the most beautiful book I've ever read. These stories fucked me up along the way, but in the nicest possible way.

Expecting the worst to happen is the key. Trust me, it lessens the impact. But seriously, that ending messed me up, and I have no idea what the main story, Everlast, will bring.

"What we are is so much more than best friends, or boyfriend and girlfriend. We’re two pieces of a whole. She’s the beat of my heart, just as I’m the blood that rushes through her veins. We breathe life into each other."

Molly + Lincoln = 💕4 ever(more)

These two kids met at the age of 7 and ever since were inseparable.
They were destined to be together.

Their relationship started as friends which evolved in a great love, one that you only find once in a lifetime.

“What we are is so much more than best friends, or boyfriend and girlfriend. We’re two pieces of a whole. She’s the beat of my heart, just as I’m the blood that rushes through her veins. We breathe life into each other.” Lincoln

This might have been a prequel of their love story, yet it was wonderfully written with an amazing flow and had me completely engrossed.
It was beautiful, emotional and captivating.

This novella ended with Molly and Lincoln having reached the age of 28 y.o.and thankfully Everlast is already in my hands and I can’t wait to see how their forevermore story continues... 💖

(I had a small issue but I didn’t let it influence my rating. While they were very young, sometimes the way they were thinking or talking, was not consistent with their age.)

Forevermore from Alex Grayson was my introduction to this author and I couldn’t have chosen a better book.
This novella tells the story of childhood friends Molly and Lincoln who grow to become lovers and then husband and wife. It’s executed and told with so much emotion that I couldn’t help but fall and form a connection to this couple.
Molly and Lincoln is the definition of soulmates and I enjoyed every thing about them growing up together and how they started to see each other in a different light. It was done just right.
Now the ending! Gahhh. I need Everlast. Forevermore was the perfect starter and now I’m beyond excited for the main course that is Everlast. I need more Molly and Lincoln. ASAP!

Why nobody prepared me for this cliffhanger???

This was definitely one of the cutest stories I've ever read!!! While I was reading it I constantly had a smile on my face, Lincoln and Molly are one of my favorite couples ever!

Lincoln and Molly meet at their school's playground when Lincoln saves Molly from some bullies and after that they are inseparable. In each chapter we see them at a different age and, believe me when I say they're soooo cute in every one of them.

If you want to get a glimpse of their cuteness, check my highlights. I wanted to highlight more passages, but I wanted to finish this book more... 🤭

I've been warned that the second book is really emotional, and I can't wait to read it!

(if you think you would enjoy this book it's currently free on Amazon Kindle so make sure to grab it and I suggest you do this right now 😊)

This is a super-short novella, and a prequel to the upcoming full-length novel, Everlast. It’s an absolutely gorgeous introduction to Molly and Lincoln, who meet on the playground as eight-year-olds, and become the best of friends, first loves and soulmates.

What we are is so much more than best friends, or boyfriend and girlfriend. We’re two pieces of a whole. She’s the beat of my heart, just as I’m the blood that rushes through her veins. We breathe life into each other.

This novella follows them through the years, showing us key moments in the development of their relationships, right up to marriage and babies. It’s so freaking sweet, and is dripping with love and swoon. These two are absolutely perfect together, soulmates in every way, and I love that we got to see so much of their early years. And though I’m slightly terrified of the inevitable drama that is probably coming, I can’t wait to see what’s in store for them in Everlast.

“Nothing in my life could have prepared me for you, Molly … Everything has a reason for being, and you are mine.”

Beautiful. 4 stars.

Oh my heart.......and now I'm a crying mess!!!

This is the first book I've read from this author and absolutely won't be the last! This is a novella of how Lincoln and Molly's relationship has developed from their first meeting on a playground at age 8 until years later. I don't want to give too much away because you really NEED to read this to understand. This was a beautiful journey of friends to lovers and everything in between and has made me impatient for Everlast because that ending had me in tears. Just know that Lincoln is so damn swoon-worthy....gahhhh!!!

"We're already as close as two people our age could be. What we are is so much more than bestfriends, or boyfriend and girlfriend. We're two pieces of a whole. She's the best of my heart, just as I'm the blood that rushes through her veins. We breathe love into each other."

REVIEW: I might die before the sequel comes out.....
"She can't hide forever. I'll find her. I always will."

My FIRST book - well, novella, by Alex Grayson and I am literally hanging on by a very thin thread!!! Forevermore is a prequel novella that leads up to Everlast (full length book) and is Lincoln and Molly's beginning. While I'm desperately awaiting this next book, I would be remiss if I didn't explain why reading this novella is a must - especially if you are a first-timer to Ms Grayson like myself. My biggest joy is finding a new voice to read. One I can follow easily and recommend excitedly. Ms. Grayson's writing was very chill - very descriptive and enticing, which made it very easy to immerse myself into a created world full of fantastic love between two undeniable hearts. Falling in love with Lincoln and Molly couldn't have been any more natural than it was and that's exactly what I love to read. However, I can say that I might be dying a slow and very painful death from that cliffhanger....

I would like to ask, what did I just read? But I know that would be a stupid question, because I know exactly what I just read. I read a beautiful love story filled with joy and ease, one with laughter and naiveté, one full of smiles and beauty. I met two amazing characters that fell in love as elementary school best friends who meandered through the most perfect and natural growth of a friendship that had no other option but to deliver a love so deep and inspiring that I couldn't turn away from it. But, I am sad now because I was also left on a massive cliffhanger....

The slow and organic growth of not only Lincoln and Molly maturing in a world surrounded by love and innocence, but also the love that developed and flourished in this story, was probably one of the easiest ones I've ever read. I wasn't tripping over the words or getting caught up with minor details because there was no fluff. It was honest, pure, emotion driven storytelling that had me turning the pages eagerly anticipating what was going to happen next. It possessed a love that grew exponentially over minimal pages - which I find very fascinating because a lot of the time, novellas are too short and hard to get into with actual emotional depth. But, for someone that loves the angst and buildup of a book, the wait for Everlast may feel like the longest month ever because of that devastating cliffhanger....

I am very excited about finding a new author to stalk, which leaves me with a slight problem because while my damaged little angst-seeking heart was literally scared to turn each page for the dreaded ohmygosh moment, I wouldn't give up that little bit of anxiety I got as I read this one. I loved clinging to the words that carried me throughout this story - but I hated anticipating it. HA! I know....pot/kettle. But, the biggest fear is the wait for Everlast because I'm not sure I will survive being left on a massive cliffhanger....

The magnitude of the desperation I'm feeling about needing Everlast should tell you either a.) I'm a wimp or b.) I don't do cliffhangers very well or c.) All of the above. Yeah, if you picked C, we may know each other very well. If you didn't pick it, well you can guess based on your options just how comfortably I'm handling this heartbreaking cliffhanger....

You guys!!! I am yelling, emphatically suggesting:
Read
This
Novella

But just remember, there is a massive cliffhanger...

Now, I realize that I might sound like I'm obsessing over a cliffhanger but that's because I am. Because I was left on a cliffhanger and I might be dying...

Did I mention there was a cliffhanger? No? Let me remind you: I'm dangling. Because there is a massive cliffhanger...

"Already as close as two people our age could be. What we are is so much more than best friends, or boyfriend and girlfriend. We're two pieces of a whole."

Forevermore is a phenomenal, uniquely written prequel to a beautiful, emotional love story spanning over 20 years.

Lincoln and Molly meet at 7 years old when Lincoln comes to Molly's rescue from being bullied at school. After that moment the two were inseparable best friends. Lincoln and Molly share a FOREVER love that began from a young age. It developed into a beautiful friendship and then a strong, unbreakable love.

These characters stole my heart from the first to last page and I was left reeling after that massive cliff-hanger. My heart is in shambles as I await the conclusion in Everlast. 5 stars is not enough.

Molly and Lincoln met when they were children when he showed from their first meeting that he was the White Knight that she could always count on. As teenagers their friendship evolved into love and they have always been each other’s everything. We get to see them marry, start a family and are invested in their future.

This is a prequel that leaves us wondering what their future holds when their story continues in Everlast.

So for me this was just a prequel. In fact, I would have liked this all as one book with Everlast. I think you have to read it, it sets the stage, you see Lincoln and Molly when they first meet at eight years old. It is this beautiful heartfelt glimpse into their childhood through high school. But it isn't a complete story without the next book so keep that in mind.

It really made me wish I had met my husband when we were kids. There is just something so awesome about childhood friends that grow up into lovers and never look back. They never regret, they never wish they had dated someone else, they feel like they found their soulmate early but it's perfect. I mean who wouldn't want that!!! Even at eight years old, Lincoln is a dream. He is the sweetest most protective, perceptive kid and he only gets better as he ages.

Trust what you see in reviews and have read, pick this up before Everlast but really just get them together and settle in for a nice long emotional journey.

Forevermore by Alex Grayson is just the beginning of what I feel will be an epic love story. I absolutely love reading stories those span across decades so that I can go on the ride with the couple. Lincon and Molly's love story promises to be exactly that.

This story begins at the early age of 8. And we follow Lincoln and Molly as they become best friends and then lovers and then married couple. Lincoln is the man every girl dreams of having in her life. The protector. The loyal friend. The generous lover. The epitome of a caring and loving man. Molly is so sweet and adorable. They have this intense connection. Unbreakable. Undeniable. Unreal. You can feel the strength and depth of their love so easily. But life is so uncertain and the author leaves us on a dark note.

Forevermore by Alex Grayson has prepared the perfect stage for the next part of Lincoln and Molly's life. And I am equally excited and terrified.

I get the feeling I'm going to need tissues for the follow up to this....lots and lots of tissues. This was such a good introduction to Molly and Lincolns romance. Starting from the first meeting at the age of 8 we follow the couple as they move from friends to lovers to husband and wife. This has set up the next book beautifully and I think that going into Everlast the background this book provides will help the reader get a better depth of understanding of their love. I want to read the next one now so badly.

Alex Grayson's Forevermore is a sweet coming of age story about a young boy Lincoln who saves Molly from two bullies on the school playground. The story evolves from there becoming friends to best friends, to a kiss, to dating, to lovers and beyond. " Everything has a reason for being, and you are mind. Without you, there is no me. Our love has no ending, it's forevermore and everlasting. Molly & Lincoln story will continue in Everlast!

Two kids, who were destined to be with each other forever. Kismet. It’s what dreams are made of and where love lives. No matter your age, sometimes love finds you and never lets up. That string tugging on your heart, forever and ever.

Forevermore has captured my heart and I’m so sad that I don’t know what happens between Lincoln and Molly .... yet. Their love story must go on. As anticipating as this novella was for me, the anticipation for Everlast is 10 fold. What an amazing love story, that will live on, Forevermore.

Forevermore is my first from Alex Grayson and will certainly not be my last. This prequel of sorts is full of happy and very little angst. The story of two childhood friends who grow up and marry and start to raise a family together. Lincoln and Molly are surely meant to be, never allowing the world around them to sever the forever kind of bond they have. Coming from good families, there is no 'wrong side of the tracks' vs. the well-to-do kind of drama. Instead they are lifelong neighbors and have a love that is pure and full of hope.

I really liked both characters and enjoyed the simplicity of their romance but did wonder where this story was headed. Surely it couldn't be that perfect and that easy.

And it's not. We get a huge shift as the pages come to an end, not knowing how this will all turn out for our couple and their seemingly idyllic life. One of those epic cliffhangers that has me begging for more.

Everlast can't come soon enough as I let thoughts of a less than HEA happening to Molly and her beloved Lincoln seep into my mind. Fingers crossed I'm proven wrong.

Forevermore is a phenomenal prequel to what is to come. After reading this and reading several of Alex Grayson books I know we are in for a bang when it comes to Everlast. You will get so much out of Lincoln and Molly. They will just give you such feels as they start their journey together as friends from a young age. You get such feels that will want you grabbing Everlast as soon as you're done. I for one need Everlast right now because that cliffhanger makes me want it now. I'm falling in love with Lincoln and Molly and I can't wait to see where they go from here. Such a beautiful start. Go one click this one.

Hooked! A quick read that will introduce you to the most amazing people. Can friendship stand the greatest test of all...time?

Forevermore took me on a journey spanning over 10 years and I truly felt connected to Lincoln and Molly. It’s all in Alex’s words. She breathed life onto her pages!

It’s a great lead into Everlast and I strongly urge you to read them both.

While the prequel is pretty mild for an Alex Grayson story, I KNOW, I KNOW the next book is going to tear my ever loving heart out. Lincoln and Molly seem to have been meant to be from the ripe old age of 8. This prequel takes us through their formative years and it is truly a beautiful love story. That cliffy though...it's a humdinger and I very much look forward to Everlast.
