To enjoy STAMINA you need to have first read,
where we first meet Sarah, Bruno, Rage and Carter. Two years have passed since the end of that book, some things have changed, others haven't.
I loved how determined Sarah was, she took big risks but she knew the risks, weighed the options and followed her heart. I never once felt that she was stupid, rather I felt that she was brave and daring - and a little bit crazy, lol! Her journey is fraught with difficult choices and tough decisions. There are no easy or right answers, just a long hard, perilous journey that had me on the edge of my seat.
We also got to know Rage and Carter really well, I may be more than a little in love with Rage. He's a morally grey man, hard as nails but his heart is in the right place - well as long as you don't upset him it is. Things become very complicated between him, Bruno and Sarah though there is . Carter really surprised me, I loved how his character developed. He definitely needs his own book!
The suspense elements were really well written, the book had me on the edge of my seat at times. There were some really heartbreaking moments, lots of tension and action too. I also really appreciated how the author cleverly wove backgrounds for her characters that supported various aspects of the plot. I'm really looking forward to reading book #3!

Still can't forget what the H did in book one... I'm secretly team Rage!
Sarah evolution is amazing loved the strong woman she became!!! Still think that she is not in love, its all psychological conditioned by only seeing him for 3 years!

Me gustó y no me gustó. Es decir como se dieron las cosas me frustro un poco.
Al igual que el primero te mantiene, hay tensión y sufrimiento y vemos una Sarah distinta mas fuerte, y aguerrida. Con una evolución bien marcada, Sarah es otra es ahora una mujer capaz de luchar por lo que quiere se ha transformado en alguien realmente valiente y fuerte.
Carter es un sol, protegiendola y velando por ella, pero toma decisiones algo malas por lealtad a bruno.
Rage para mi es quien se roba el show el tipo es fuerte, letal y misterioso, pero al mismo tiempo es bueno y capaz de dar todo por quienes aprecia, acá se ve como ayuda a Sarah a cambio de nada. Quiero un libro de él, ajajaja.
No me gusto fue la dirección quería mas de Rage y Sarah algo entre ellos que no pudo decir, no puedo contar. Pero yo hubiese actuado distinto siendo ella.
El viaje, los peligros, todo esta genial, la narración mejoro, las descripciones muy buenas, el contexto bien hecho. Lo único malo fue no ver tanto de Bruno pero tenia que ser así en la historia. Me gustaría decir mas, pero no puedo, tienen que ir a ciegas y disfrutar, a pesar que me recordó mucho a otros libros, esta historia tiene su cuerpo propio y una esencia bien marcada, bien emotiva y de superación.

The sequel is great. We have moved ahead two years and Sarah has tried to move on from Bruno. Bruno has left her for a secret mission. She is determined to find him and see where things stand with him and her. Sarah accidentally runs into Rage and they have a strong physical attraction. Together they devise a plan for her to get to Bruno who’s in Saudi Arabia. This plan is dangerous and Sarah has to go alone into a world where women are not allowed. Sarah has faith she can survive and find Bruno but will he be the same man or has time changed them both or will they be able to reclaim the love they had. Looking forward to the third installment of this series!

As a reviewer I was provided with an early release copy of Stamina. I made it about 15 pages into the book and had to rush to the Kindle Store to grab the first volume of this series, which I really enjoyed. When I returned to this volume I inhaled it in around two hours. When I slammed up against the ending I was so disappointed. But thanks to the miracle of the internet I now know that Marcia is going to release volume three without a cliffhanger.
The story is thrilling, there's plenty of dangers for the often growing characters to overcome, there's a very interesting bromance between two of the main secondary characters, Sara's growth, both offstage between the two volumes and in this one is marvelously appropriate, and the writing is darn near flawless. Romance and suspense take center stage.
Being very upset by cliffhangers is the only reason I can think of for a romance fan to wait for the third volume before falling in love with this series. It deserves six stars for the story to date.

Stamina left my heart pounding, and I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting for Duty to come out! This romantic suspense book shows us a different side to Sarah, who's hell bent on trying to find Bruno. She'll move heaven and earth to find him, and I loved her tenacity and her inner strength. Carter and Rage lent a helping hand, and I got to see a piece of Rage that made me want him so badly! This action-packed part 2 was so thrilling! Not much sex involved, since the entire book focused on Sarah working to find her man, but she also realizes she's not alone in this world. I need to read Duty asap!

Are you ready? Are you hanging on the edge of your seat yet? I just love the evolution of Sarah such strong determine woman. This was such a great book the firt book I thought wow this ain't the same old stuff I read this has grit and teeth. You won't regret reading this !

this was a really great book in this series. he left her with no word or anything. she is lost without him so she sets up a plan to go find him. only along the way she meets a biker and feelings start. read to find out what happens.

This was a great continuation to Sarah and Bruno's story! The book was different from what I thought I was expecting, but it worked out in such a way that I loved it all the same. Great book, and awesome way to continue this series!

I didn't read the first book so it was a bit difficult for me to understand the story. Nevertheless, at about middle of reading I was curious as to how Sara's plan is going to work.
The book is well written, and I wonder how things will turn in the future for the characters.

Wow! This book was incredible! This is Book Two of the Resilience Saga. The story continues with Bruno and Sarah. Sarah is no longer the victim. She has turned into a no-nonsence fighter. She has fought to get her life back. She still hasn't stopped looking for Bruno and it's been two years. She'll go across the world to find and help him. She may just get her wish! I can hardly wait for the next book in this saga!

This book was so good! Dark and sexy and angsty, all rolled together. While I enjoy Carter, I have to say, I fell in love with Rage! I feel so conflicted and sorry for him. I'm sure she's going to end up with Bruno, but Rage would be a pretty darn good consolation prize! Lol
The book ended at the worst possible spot, I need book 3 NOW! If you enjoy dark romance that dabbles in kidnapping and hints at human trafficking, this is a must read! (But it doesn't glamorize it!)

I'm out of breath after reading this book. There's nothing better than becoming so engrossed in a book that you forget everything else. This is that book for me lately, and it blew me away with where the story was taken. Sarah continues to be a badass, but author Marcia DM continues to make her well rounded by infusing a vulnerability that humanizes her. She's been through tons of changes in the two years since Bruno left, and she's done waiting to find him. And then a plan is formed with Sarah's greatest allies: Carter and Rage.
Sarah has changed, yes, but she still has her conscience talking to her, usually when big decisions are made. "Life" is honest and straightforward, which makes me believe it's linked to her anxiety. This is undoubtedly the way Sarah deals with PTSD, and "life" refuses to let her get away with lying to herself.
"“Did you get all that? Are you sure you don’t need anyone to write it down for you? You, dumb cunt.” Life is escalating little by little. What is wrong with her today?"
"“Shakespeare? Ha! That involves reading and understanding. Thumbing through tabloids was the closest you ever got to reading something.”“I get it, Life. You wanna be part of this too.”“Like I’ve got a choice…” Life replies with a heavy tone."
The action is pulse pounding and the bromance slowly forming between Carter and Rage is written expertly. I loved their shared scenes and would love to read more about each of them. How did Rage and Carter become who they are? Warning, there is another cliffhanger, but the scenes at the end of this book were so worth it!
My favorite part of the book happens towards the beginning where Sarah has to look at herself metaphorically in the mirror and she tells herself:
"The future is uncertain, a true mystery. This time I’m not afraid. This time I’m full of hope. This time I’m in charge."
What a beautiful way to start a character on a new journey. Can't wait for book three.

I was so glad that I was able to read books 1 and 2, back to back. No long wait in between. Even though book three will be ready in a few months, its going to feel like forever!!
Poor Sarah has been waiting two years to find Bruno. She does those years enlisted in the military. She feels the skill set she can learn there will help her when she finally locates him. She does exactly what Bruno and his cousin Carter warned her not to. She goes to Rage for help. I have to say, Rage is mine!! That man is perfect. I get attached to characters while I'm reading a story, but Rage is going to stay in my heart and head for a very long time.
Bruno and Sarah are finally reunited in Saudi Arabia. What they have to go through next will be their hardest trial of all. I really have no idea what this author is going to do with them. If they get near his brother Dante, will he even want to go home with them? Will any of them live long enough to get home? Rage and Carter are back in the U.S. What is going to happen to them? I'm totally willing to take care of Rage!!
I've loved these books and the characters living in them to entertain us. I have a hard time concentrating enough to read for long periods of time. That hasn't been a problem with this series. Its been a page turner, for me.

Marcia DM’s sequel to Resilience take up where that book left off: Bruno is gone; Sarah doesn’t know where, but is determined to find him. She’s continuing her recovery without him and though she can be a bit in the reckless side, she’s no longer the scared, broken woman she used to be. Exotic locals, dangerous situations and a reunion awaits. The book could have used a proofreader due to some typos and duplicate sentences, but the action is great as is the chemistry between the characters. I would have rated it higher if not for the editing issues.

This is the second book in the Resilient Saga, and picks up where the first left off. You'll want to read the first, to understand what is going on.
I loved how much stronger Sarah became. You could tell she was strong in the first book, but I loved the development of her character, and how she forged ahead. I loved getting to know more about Rage and Carter as well.

Dark romance adventure - The saga continues as Bruno has left Sarah to try to rescue his brother. Sarah has no idea where hr is and has to gather her strength to cope on hier own. This is her adventure to develop her strengths and find a way to track down Bruno, She has a difficult and dangerous trip to Saudi Arabia There are twist and turns as Sarah travels with the help of her contacts back in the U.S. A great follow up book that did not disappoint and leaves me eager for book 3.

Intriguing, exciting heroine
Amazingly written. Loved how Sarah becomes a badass in the continue tale of her life without Bruno. How she learns why he left her behind and the measures she takes to find him. The story is slow in the beginning because she is learning to live without Bruno. But it definitely gets going once she sees Rafe. I recommend this book because we can all use a badass female in our life's.

Holding your breath

No les puedo decir lo mucho que amé este libro! La historia me mantuvo enganchada desde la primera línea! Los personajes son tan bien definidos que es imposible no enamorarse de ellos!!

I Loved It it was exciting and full of twists and turns and danger full of decisions. Sarah is on a mission to find Bruno and what a mission it is with running into Rage who is super yummy who knows what's going to happen.

Sabía que este libro sería potente y no me equivoqué, Sarah una mujer renovada como el ave fénix, ella demostró lo valiente y fuerte que es, como tantas veces Bruno se lo dijo.
Este libro me gustó mucho más que el primero, aquí llegué armar teorías en mi cabeza 😂 de lo que posiblemente podría suceder pero me sorprendió tanto los giros que dió la historia..
Debo admitir que por un momento deseé que tuviera algo con Rage, así tan tosco y grandote Rage demostró tener un gran Corazón, que me cautivó..
Dante, ninguna de las teorías que llegue a pensar respeto a el, se me dieron 🤔 me sorprendió la vida sumisa que llevo durante todo ese tiempo.. (me preguntó si hay historia de el).
Mucha acción y tensión disfrute mucho de este libro..

Stamina is the second book in the Resilient Saga. It features Sarah, Carter and Rage. I loved the interaction between these 3 as they find their place in a friendship of sorts. The two men help Sarah get to Bruno in a dangerous world where women are persona non grata. It is action packed and and suspense filled. This books does end in a cliffhanger. This could be a 5 star but the editing is atrocious. I realize this series is translated from the language it was originally written in. I would advise the author get some English speaking betas to help with this.
