OH LORD, this book is sexy AF!!

I really do love Lauren Blakely books. They are always entertaining no matter what kind of book they are be it a really funny RomCom or like this one which is more along the lines of Erotica but in a classy way. I’m not sure if that makes any sense but in my head it did.

I like a good smutty book but sometimes they can be a bit crude/harsh and this one is Sexy beyond belief but somehow not in a crude way.

Just read it if you like Sexy books!!!

This was a spellbinding, sultry, sexy and addictive story from beginning to end. I enjoyed the characters and the story and the writing as a whole. The attraction and chemistry sizzled through the pages, alluring and mesmerizing, exposing the emotions, binding Sage and Cole to one another perfectly. Looking forward to reading the next book in this series. A solid 4 stars read!

Sage Carmichael is used to wearing a mask in public. She is the perfectly poised and controlled Co-CEO for one of the most elegant hotels on the Las Vegas strip. This mask became more important when she suffered heartbreak publicly. But now she is using a real mask for another reason...to attend a masquerade that she hopes will end in a night with her own Prince Wicked.

Cole Donovon is the newest luxury hotel owner in town. He is intense, driven, intelligent, strives to be the best, and thrives on the chase. And he and his business partner are ready to partake in some after-hours fun as well.

Sage finds two Prince Wickeds that night who allow her to explore her desires in a safe way. But she has no idea how it will change her everyday life. And Cole never saw her coming either.

This is a witty, flirty, and dirty rivals to lovers. It is hot and steamy! They push boundaries and challenge each other. Both of them have issues that have affected their views on relationships. Their passion and needs complement each other perfectly, but they know they should be off-limits. But they just cannot seem to stop and Sage's pleasure seems to be the goal. But at the same time, the competition aspect also challenges the other to do better and go after what they want. They had both closed off their hearts, but slowly the bricks are being chipped away. It will all come down to trust, not only in each other but in themselves in order to decide if risking their hearts will be a win-win deal for both of them.

This can be read as a stand-alone and is book one in a new series of stand-alones. It introduces some new intriguing characters like his business partners, Daniel and Scarlett, her friends Eliza and Nadia, and also some other men related to football teams, Xavier and Wilder. I am sure we will be seeing some of them again. But we also get to visit a bit with Sage's twin Ivy, and more Stone and Jackson that we met in One Night Only! Yes! Stone is such a scene-stealer!

I liked getting multiple points of view. Cole is all kinds of hot, swoony, and intuitive man, and Sage is strong and knows what she wants. The character's issues and motivations are well developed so we can understand their insecurities and what drives them. And this goes not just for the main couple, but for the side characters as well. So even though it does have some deliciously naughty sexy times, it also has depth and emotion as well. There is even a bit of a bonus love story in the making and the whisper of some others.

Book 2 in The Extravagant series and can be read as a standalone. Loved this enemies to lovers romance. Cole and Sage were so hot together and when you add Daniel to the mix, explosive. Book 1 pulled me in to the Extravagant series and this book gripped me even more. Lauren has a way of creating characters and worlds that feel real every time you pick up one of her books and this was no exception. Love her work and I can’t wait to read what she has coming next. Highly recommend this story.

Holy smokes! Lauren Blakely writes a scorching and appealing story full of witty banter and hot sexiness.

In One Exquisite Touch we meet two guys, a girl, and a masquerade. Mix in undeniable attraction and a lady’s choice bet and we have all the best ingredients for a very racy love story.

Cole Donovan and his best friend Daniel Stewart are the new kids on the Las Vegas Strip and they’ve both been invited to a masquerade party for the debauched where they set sights on the most exquisite woman in the room. Without exchanging names they dance, they play and after some delicious foreplay she leaves. Will they meet again?

Sage Carmichael is a successful hotelier and business woman, but after suffering from a very public heartbreak she decides to put a mask on and slip into a persona determined to explore her desires. She meets two Princes Wickeds set on giving her what she wants, never imagining that the very next day she’d have one of them in her office introducing himself as her next door competitor. They know they should keep their relationship professional, but can they can’t resist their attraction.

Given its nature, One Exquisite touch is in credibly hot, but from the start we know who Sage will choose. I really enjoyed the dynamic between the three characters, how they got along with each other and how open and honest they were about their wants and feelings. The story has a well-balanced combination of eroticism and romance.

One Exquisite Touch is book #2 of the Extravagant series by Lauren Blakely. It’s a standalone, erotic romance (MfM situations), told from various points of view with a happy ending.

One Exquisite Touch is book one in The Extravagant series by the incredibly talented Lauren Blakely. This series is starting off with a bang. It's hot, sexy, a little sweet, emotional and did I say sexy? Sage is looking for something extra. More. She's not even sure what she wants until she meets him at a masquerade ball. The sexy masked stranger makes her body hum and her heart race. She wants to see him again and hold him to his promises, but she doesn't expect him to walk into her office a few days later. She's shocked that her new competition is the man who played her body. Cole Donovan. Owner of the new hotel on the Strip. Her rival. This can't he happening. How is she supposed to stop wanting him? She wants more. She needs more. Is it possible to fulfill your fantasies with your rival? Cole would recognize his stranger anywhere but he can't believe his luck when she turns out to be Sage Carmichael. A woman who he'll be fighting to win business in Vegas. He won't be deterred that easily thought. Rival or not, Sage is everything he's ever wanted in a woman and he's not going to be able to stay away from her. Oh my Lord! Cole is so off the charts sexy with his dark eyes, commanding presence, love of books and thoughtful ways. He's smart, handsome, caring and hot. Sage is beautiful, smart, dedicated and has been waiting for a man like Cole. Together they are on fire! In the bedroom and in business, they are the perfect match. I’m loving all the secondary characters and can't wait for their stories!

Holy shivers … mmmmm You guy, this story between right past sexy made a u-turn at delicious and parked itself at pantie-melting hotness !!

This was such a great story. No. It was more than that. Great seems in adequate. It was a passionate story, an empowering story, a sexy as all get out story, a growth story, a captivating story, a freeing story, a love story, a friendship story, an all the things story!

Don’t get distracted by the obvious sexual nature of not only the cover but the title and the blurb because there’s an incredible story in these pages and it was magnificent!

reading m/f/m isn't my norm so it took me a bit before getting into the whole menage thing. however, i found out that while the female protagonist is involved with two guys, . it was definitely interesting to see how their dynamics worked especially since the two guys are best friends. there wasn't any jealousy involved, it was basically just sage, cole and daniel seeking pleasure with one another.

sage owns the best hotel in the area but when cole and daniel started their own hotel business across the street, they became rivals. despite that, these three can't help but be physically attracted to one another which ignited something new, sexy and kinky. that's all i'm going to say.

5 ‘Prince Wicked’ stars!

One Exquisite Touch is book #2 in The Extravagant Series by Lauren Blakely. WHEW this book was way more than I expected! It is sexy, racy, delicious but also touches on the emotional side too. I loved it. Sage Carmichael is Ivy’s twin whom we met in One Night Only. She is the co-CEO of The Extravagant, a premier Hotel on the Vegas Strip. Sage is poised to perfection all the time. She works very hard and rarely steps out of her comfort zone. She is immaculately dressed always. Her heart was recently bruised by a public heartbreak with her ex and matters of the heart are off limits to her as she never wants to feel that kind of shame again. She is however ready for some after dark fun and she and her best friend, Eliza attend a sexy Masquerade where she meets two mysterious men and has quite the tryst with them. Her time with them was far too short and she cannot get them off her mind. Cole Donovan is the newest hotelier on the Vegas Strip. He owns The Invitation and he is also the competition. He is smart, career focused, motivated, hardworking and highly successful. He is also one of the men behind the mask from the Masquerade the night before. Immediately he becomes forbidden and Sage tries hard to resist him but soon she gives in and wow these were some of those most explosive, steamiest scenes I have ever read. I loved the connection and scorching hot chemistry between Sage are her Prince Wicked. There were a few side characters in this story that I absolutely loved too. One is Sage’s best friend, Eliza. She was SO supportive and encouraging to her. I want to know more about her and her mysterious man though. Her story does not seem finished so I hope that means we will get her story at a later point in the series. This series has it all. It has all kinds of steamy and dirty scenes but is also filled with just as many sweet and tender moments too. This is a top read of 2020 for me! The story is highly addicting and I could not put it down from start to finish. Highly recommend!

This was a super steamy story in which two people who have heartbreak in their past find each other in a most unexpected way. And a night of passion and secret identities leads to a rivals to lovers revelation. Cole and Sage were both easy to like characters. And in the fashion I've come to appreciate from Lauren Blakely there were a few other characters who I got to glimpse and really like as well. While I did feel the sensual aspect was primary in this particular story, I also enjoyed the build up of the relationship along the way. The get to know you conversations. The friendships and the motivations that drove them both. The way Cole and Sage needed each other in a healthy way. They were both mature and self sufficient people even without each other. It all made for a good story overall.

First thing first, I have to make one thing clear about this book: this is not enemies to lovers, this is more like I'd like to sleep with you and share you with my friend.
Now that we got this out of the way, let's move on!
The reason why I purchased this series is the third book. When I found it was a part of a series, I was like "nice", let's get the other books too so that I can enjoy all characters, but I swear that if I knew that there were MFM scenes in them, I would've never gotten them, cause why would I spent my money and time on tropes that I don't enjoy, but I didn't know. So here I am, feeling like screaming and throwing this shit out of the window!

5 SMOOCHES!

Lauren Blakely is back with another After Dark rendezvous in Vegas with One Exquisite Touch, a breathtaking new enemies-to-lovers romance in the Extravagant series. In these uniquely conceptualized stories, Blakely moves beyond her much beloved contemporary romances and romantic comedies to push boundaries and fulfill fantasies with these titillating romances.

"There is no shame in sex unless you bring it there. There is no shame in desire. There is no shame in wanting. If everyone consents and everyone is safe, that's really all that matters."

This quote is not only solid advice from a wise friend to the heroine, it is also a spot-on depiction of the entire feel of this book, this series, this entire catalog of stories from Blakely. Desire, want and need are all natural human emotions, and it was a good reminder to the heroine—and the rest of us as we embark on this journey with these characters—that there is no shame in seeking pleasure, in a safe and consensual scenario, unless you introduce it.

One Exquisite Touch begins at a masquerade ball, with a couple of billionaires and a fiery, forbidden tryst. Hotel CEO, Sage Carmichael, is not looking for her Prince Charming—she’s looking for a wicked prince to help her quench a desire she can’t quite name. In a darkened corner, she finds just that in Cole Donovan—and his best friend and business partner, Daniel. Passion ignites, blood sings, bodies hum… until realization sets in when the masks come off at a meeting between business rivals. The thing is that this little encounter was so much more than a stolen moment, though, and I gobbled up this story as the characters came to terms with that.

Daniel and Cole were very much in sync in their pursuit of Sage, no doubt a result of their long-standing friendship, and their single-minded, laser-focused attention on Sage was positively exhilarating. But as a female reader well into adulthood, it was experiencing Sage coming into her own as she explored her sexuality that kept me glued to my Kindle. Blakely captured the essence of those passionate moments and that consuming chemistry with hair-raising intensity and mesmerizingly vivid imagery. Of course, it wouldn’t be a proper Lauren Blakely novel without a gorgeous love story, and there was a fantastic one here, too.

Blakely takes it to new heights of adventurism in One Exquisite Touch, an unputdownable story of the unabashed pursuit pleasure with the sweet surprise of discovering love in the process. This is Blakely's boldest, most daring and thrilling romance to date, and I positively inhaled it in a single sitting. This author’s work always impresses me, but when she stretches her wings and takes a chance with more risqué material, she delivers something truly special and memorable, and I am a grateful reader for her brave storytelling. Five smooches from me for One Exquisite Touch by Lauren Blakely!

Oh that Lauren Blakely. I do believe she has written her most deliciously filthy one-handed read ever! Talk about heat. Talk about passion. Talk about decadence. It is all there for the taking as Sage Carmichael and Cole Donovan take it to heights that this reader devoured happily.

Sage and Cole are rivals in the fast-paced world of hotel ownership in Las Vegas and find each other as willing participants in some heady trysts as they meet first as potential lovers before they meet as friendly opponents. The use of a masquerade party is brilliant as Blakely takes her characters for a most intense spin around the dance floor and beyond, with the addition of Cole's business partner and good friend in Daniel as the 3rd in their newly-found rhythm.

As per usual, I love that this story is more than just a few very wild romps featuring two extremely sexy men and the woman who would ultimately chase the high she never thought she even needed. They are all very successful and can still find a new kind of thrill in each other that rivals claiming deals for their stellar hotels. With Daniel and he and Cole's other counterpart in Scarlett pulling some much-needed strings, Cole ultimately finds the woman of his dreams while Sage is slowly finding hers. Sure, Daniel provides a taste of what Sage secretly craves and let's just say she and her sister Ivy have very similar appetites for the naughty, but what she and Cole have together only gets stronger as he satiates her needs while also claiming her heart.

I've always said that Lauren Blakely writes sex with heart like no other and never was that more apparent than in One Exquisite Touch. It is gloriously dirty while at the same time it is touching and sweet. These characters are sensitive to each other not only in the bedroom but in the boardroom as well. AND the images burned into my mind as the terms public sex and 'wanting to be caught' were never more enticing, I'm simply a goner for this entire story-line.

I'm thrilled there is more to come with secondary characters getting their time in the sun as this stellar crew deserves nothing but a bit of happiness to soothe some of the sad they have all experienced in one way or another. Yes, the Blakely family tree continues to grow with some of her best work imo with these After Dark adventures I can't seem to get enough of.

You want this book. It will thrust you into a wanton spell that is nothing short of wonderful as well as giving you a chance to sigh at the beautiful romance between Sage and Cole that is full of promise and a real and true love.

*****Audiobook AND E-book Review*****
5 HAF Finding What She Truly Desires Stars!!!

One of the things I love about reading a Lauren Blakely book is that she writes books that are sexy, hot, provocative, and they keep me transfixed from beginning to end. But what I really love about her books is not only are her Heroes everything I want in a book boyfriend, but her Heroines are strong, independent women that a lot of the time comes into her own whether it’s finding her HEA or fulfilling her sexual desires however those play out.

One Exquisite Touch is one such book! Sage is a woman that runs a multi-million international set of hotels with her twin sister with their flagship hotel being The Exquisite on the Las Vegas strip. And one night she encounters Cole and Daniel at a masquerade ball and everything she thought she knew about her desires is put to the test and sets in motion a sequence of events that are out of this world explosive!!

I loved how these men are friends and partners and know what they want and when they see a woman they both desire there is a single-mindedness about their pursuit of her. In this case, it’s Sage Carmichael who has captivated these men and their few moments in an alcove alter the direction of each of their lives without them even realizing it!

I loved how Sage is open to discovering what she desires, she’s giving in every sense of the word and isn’t afraid to ask for what she wants. The only roadblock that could put a damper on her exploring and satisfying her wants and desires is Cole and Daniel are her hotel rivals and it’s a complicated dance to get around but this is a waltz they’re all willing to learn!

I can honestly say that there were moments in this book that caused heart palpitations and a quiver in my body unlike I’d experienced before with a Lauren Blakely book… and I loved each and every minute of it!! This book is intoxicating in both writing and audio. I switched back and forth because , yeah this is a book that is definitely NOT approved for listening around others. Emma Wilder, Joe Arden and Shane East are commanding in their performances. They embody these characters and brought so much pleasure to my ears that at times I had to pause the book just to gather myself!

This is absolutely a must read and listen from Lauren Blakely. But be prepared with a fan and tissues to dab at the sweat that will be trickling down your body from the commanding passion found on each page and with every word spoken!

Sage Carmichael has an image to uphold; she is a successful businesswoman who keeps her private life very private. A masquerade is the perfect opportunity for her to let down her guard a little bit.

Cole Donavan is a rival hotel owner. Had they met first without the masks, they would have been rivals only. The morning after their masked tryst, both are still thinking about their encounter and when they realize who they are without their masks, their attraction becomes even harder to ignore.

This was a sexy, competitive rivals to lovers story with a whole lot of heat. They have great banter, and their chemistry as a duo is fiery. Add in a third and it’s downright explosive. I loved how Sage gave herself permission to try out new things with Cole, and the support she got from a few trusted confidants gave a great perspective to her trepidations. Both characters are strong personalities and their motivations drive the competitive spirit that plays between them as well.

As they have the added player in their relationship, there is a lot going on in the background, and I loved the little teases of future stories that happened in the background. Blakely does a fantastic job of spinning side characters in a way that we don’t lose touch with them once they have found their match, and new characters are introduced seamlessly into the mix. If I am counting correctly there are three, maybe 4 stories brewing in the background of this one and I cannot wait for more!

Just so you know, when the synopsis says, a sexy rivals to lovers standalone, they are understating the word sexy. The story is sex personified. Hot, hot, hot! Scorching. Sizzling. Burning. Even now, having finished the book, I could combust just thinking about it. Rival Vegas casino/hotel owners Cole Donavon and Sage Carmichael meet during a masquerade ball and share a sexy tryst with Cole’s best friend and business associate sexy Englishman Daniel Stewart. Both Sage and Cole have been hurt before, yet when they come together the past is forgotten. No mind games (there are plenty of bedroom games), a lot of kink, but just bear in mind the advice given to Sage from her best friend. There is no shame in sex unless you bring it there. No shame in desire or wanting, as long as it’s all consensual, and just so you know Sage had all the power, all the time. I loved her. Let me also add that Cole is one hell of a dirty talker, something that lends itself extremely well to audio and Joe Arden’s sexy as sin voice. Add in Emma Wilder and Shane East and I was in audiobook heaven. Emma Wilder narrates Cole and Daniel’s comments in Sage’s POV perfectly, I love her male drawl, it is soooo good. A super sexy, fun read.

Grab a fan, read in front of your open freezer, or have an ice pack handy because you will need it to cool off while reading this HEAT filled, PASSION filled, EMPOWERING romance.

Sage CEO of The Extravagant Hotel with her twin sister, Ivy. At a Masquerade party she meets two men who will forever change her life. The only issue, those two men are her rivals. Cole is new to Vegas and the owner of the newest hotel on the strip, The Invitation. He is drawn to Sage the moment he see’s her, along with his best friend and his business partner, Daniel.

The chemistry!!! From the moment Sage, Cole and Daniel all meet sparks are flying off the pages and the continue to fly! The three of them have LOADS of chemistry together, but even individually they have tons of chemistry. Sage and Cole are perfect for each other, even though they are rivals they work well together and balance each other.

While there is plenty of heat and passion in this story, there is also so much more to it. It is empowering, it is beautiful and I love Sage’s journey of discovering her wants and needs and not being afraid to go after it, even if it may be different from the norm. She learned to embrace it and Cole support it.

A MUST READ and I can’t wait to get Daniel’s story!

Sage Carmichael and Cole Donovan are both hoteliers in Vegas and both want their respective hotels to be the best and beat the competition, but when one tryst at a masquerade turns a fierce competitor into a potential lover, things can be become extremely complicated.
This was one book I could not put down and was read literally in one sitting. It is scorching hot, like sun temperature hot, and it should come with a warning, but it also tells the story of two powerful people who have issues as to how they see themselves, how they expect to be publicly perceived and how all this translates into their personal lives and deepest feelings.
It was a truly powerful read and though I’m not a fan of ménages, Ms. Blakely has proven to know her craft and is capable to make my mouth water for pages on end time and again. One Exquisite Touch didn’t disappoint and is an enticing and sensual rollercoaster that allows the reader to escape into the world of indulgence of Sin City.

One Exquisite Touch by Lauren Blakely

I love a good masquerade and One Exquisite Touch kicks off with quite a scene indeed. Sage is co-CEO of The Extravagant hotel in Las Vegas: she’s a boss lady who relishes the idea of giving up control. She attends a masquerade with her bestie and meets not one, but two Prince Wickeds - Cole and Daniel. This night starts off an Exquisite affair with two, no three! people who are business adversaries by day and so much more at night.

Yes, this book was kink at its sexiest but it was also friendships and relationships built on trust and respect. Cole and Sage have both had their hearts broken previously and they needed to work their way towards something special. This book got me all hot and bothered (my husband thanks you!) but also got me in the feels. I am so excited to get my hands on Daniel’s story soon!

*I voluntarily read an early copy of this book.

At a masquerade ball, hotelier Sage Carmichael (owner of Las Vegas hotel The Extravagant) finds herself in a romantic tryst with not one, but two sexy men. She'd like to get to know both of them better -- until she finds out that they're the owners of The Invitation, the newest Vegas hotel and her hotel's main rival. She never mixes business with pleasure, but Cole and Daniel might make her change her mind.

Lauren Blakely always writes a wonderful, sexy romance. Though this one gets less than 5 stars because she's beginning to repeat herself in her wording, and because the character development could be deeper. I don't feel like I've gotten to know Sage in this book as well as I got to know Ivy in the first Extravagantbook.

Still, it's a very good romance with a lot of steamy sex and some internal turmoil about balancing work and a personal life. It's fun and very readable.

One Exquisite Touch is the hottest book that I've ever experienced, and while I'm not normally down for the menage kind of heat, I had no issues with the scenes in this one. Sage is a public figure as co-CEO of the family hotel, so she's never really been able to explore a more out of her comfort zone sexy side, until she shows up to a masquerade where she comes across Cole & his buddy.  The next morning, she learns that Cole is her competition on the strip, but while they're supposed to be enemies/competitors, he's not willing to allow her to get away.  So off on a leveled up HOT sexy journey they go, but it's not long before some feelings are being caught.  And that's all from me because it's better to read it for yourselves but have a fan & ice water close by!  HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I struggled with this book not because the storyline or the characters weren’t great because they were. I feel like sometimes I am a mood reader and I wasn’t in the mood for the erotic romance this book had.

BUT… Once I got going I feel in love with these characters. The delicious meeting in the beginning of the book, fanning myself just thinking about it.

The fact that they are competitors in the same field I loved that! The ménage parts of the book were done so well. Sage is almost awoken by her desires and Cole shows her that its 100% ok to be whoever she wants to be. I think this is what made me really get into the book. The way Cole and Daniel effortlessly show Sage she can have and act on her desires without judgement it just clinched my heart.

The narration ohhhwee I am sunk I loved it. LOVED it! More SebYo please!!!

One Equisite Touch
Arc Review
Another great book by Lauren Blakely.
There is fire, it’s sexy.
There are some mfm moments, but the story focuses more on the story of Sage and Cole.
I loved that Sage was portrayed as a strong character who stands her ground.
I love enemies to lovers stories and this one is one of my favourites.
It was a good read. The chemistry between them was on fire. With every page, I got more and more into the book and couldn’t put it down. I liked the way both characters developed and fought with their insecurities.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

*ARC Review*

This has got to be one of Lauren Blakely’s steamiest books to date!! The sexual chemistry between Cole and Sage was off the charts hot to begin with and then you add the fact that they are rivals and it gets even hotter!!! I love how Sage explores her sexual side in this story and isn’t made to feel ashamed and dirty. I can’t wait to read the rest of the books in this series!
