I'm a marvel lover but this just had too many marvel references. It was almost obscene. Also, the soulmate stuff when you're 17 and living in NYC is just....insanity to me. I didn't care about any of the characters and mostly skimmed this one just to have it done.

Amazing

No surprise here but this series was so good I couldn’t put it down. I feel like there are so many places they could go after this and I cannot wait.

I really enjoyed Master Mage over the first two novels in this particular series, though I feel it was because I was on the home stretch of the storyline with a much faster pace and most importantly, there was a whole lot less of those references to movies, pop culture, and YT personalities.

In the past, I have thoroughly enjoyed everything ever written by Chandelle LaVaun that I have come across so when I saw this little trilogy pop up on my radar, I figured that I was going to be in for a good time. I gave it a solid effort though I wanted to return Midnight Mage about ten pages into the book and Marvel Mage was not much better. I did give it a solid effort, I love the concept behind the universe and how it all ties together, I love the potential of future stories still to come - the dealbreaker for me just seems to be all the movie references. Every single one that I came across, I had to stop reading and think about what the authors were trying to convey to me with these referenced comments.

For someone that may not be a big Marvel fan or watches YouTube or happens to be a teenager that spends all their time on social media, I really feel like this actually detracts from the story whereas I am someone that wants to be drawn into the story and is fully absorbed into what is going on. I personally feel like it's just lazy writing because instead of taking the time to describe something and work it into what they are writing, it's essentially just adding in gifs to watch along the way.

I don't know that I will continue reading anymore of these books when Fatal Fae eventually releases. I don't particularly want to subject myself to anymore movie references, because if I wanted those, I would be watching movies instead. I'm sure there is an audience that it does appeal to and I wish them all the joy in reading these books, falling in love with the characters like I had wanted to and will cheer them on. I'm sorry that it just didn't do it for me.

Ellie and Stellan are trying their best to get the ingredients for the spell needed. Ellie finds out her mom is in labor and her friends show up. Ellie finds out her mother has covered for her. Her friends help with the riddle, but they can't shake Nickel. Ellie discovers a secret that her family has kept. Ellie and Stellan realize that they will have to find out who to kill their enemy, no matter the cost.

This just a tiny bit of what happens in this book. I am not going to say any more. There are so major twists and turns. So many secrets are revealed. The authors take you on such a rollercoaster ride through out this book, that you can't put the book down. The world and the characters are so unique and grab your attention. This book and series was so good. They created an epic ride and I can't wait to see what is next. I highly recommend reading.

Master Mage (The Night Realm: Magic Marked Book 3)

Glad that good always triumphs over evil. Love Savina and Maureen, Stellan and Elle, the Dukes and the whole gang…

Love the way Ellie and Nickel’s family were able to return to their realm. This one really kept my attention. Lots of danger and suspense...and of course.

This book had me at the edge of my seat, screaming, laughing, crying and just not able to put it down.
All I can say is I love ❤️ this book!!!!

I can’t wait to start reading another book by these authors.. I finished this book in one sitting today, couldn’t put it down

I definitely recommend this book to everyone, and also every book by these two incredible authors. 🙌♥️💙💞💜

Love these books by these incredible two ladies and every book is a must... ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ always five stars never fail to deliver.

More twists than a tornado. This has all your favorite movie quotes & nerdy fandom. It also has some of the best plot twists I've read in a long time. And I read for hours every night. I swear this has to be my favorite out of the season. I cried, so thanks for that ladies. Readers beware! This one gets deep with the soulmate stuff. That being said it was such good stuff. I love that with this series they jump back to what's happening in reality, so to speak (Earth). It kind of grounds Ellie. Glad she was able to make it home for the big event. But the name ladies, really? The Epilogue like the book hit me out of nowhere. I had never thought anything like that was going on!You ladies are plot Queens!

This story had heartpounding action and adventure that was non-stop and readers need to budget their time because it is long (over 400 pages for ebook and 500 pages in print edition) and you won't want to put it down once you get drawn into the story. It was filled with so much clever and brilliant magic and several major wow secrets are revealed about some of the characters we have known and loved since book one. Of course it also had sighworthy soulmate romances as readers have come to expect from both Chandelle and Megan. It was a satisfying ending to an amazing trilogy and hints there may be more to come - yea!!

Red flag for some readers: there was gruesome and gory violence, torture and attempted sexual assault on the page - I had to skim over some of it.

These authors have created a world and a story that just had your imagination running wild. I loved this third installment and final for the first season. The adventures we went on with Ellie and Stellan to save the second realm was fantastic. So many twists and turns. I loved the revelations we discover on the characters and the plot. I loved the fight scenes and the writing had parts that just made me laugh out loud. It's such a fun and interesting story that I know had me wanting to go back and reread the whole series again back to back. Savina was such a fierce and strong character. I wish I could be her. Magic was everywhere and I didn't want to put it down. What a ride. Bring on the second season!

Excellent narration. Though there are issues with continuity. Initially new outfits need to appear from the wardrobe but in the next two books, who cares. Outfits on demand. Generally it's good to follow rules of the World. Few other things like a smart phone that lasts days without charging or being turned off - magic ;-) And last but not least "deux ex machina" revelations on some characters that are not indicated before. A bit like "it was the butler" moment. Also the monologue from the main male protagonist at the end, but there was no struggle of this extent before. Generally it was an enjoyable read with great ideas but it missed the last proof read. A bit more planning would make the whole series 1000% better.

Good book

I enjoyed this book, I've read "The Coven" by Chandelle LaVaun and that's why I chose to read this one. I liked the coven series better but I can really see how these two books came from the same writer. Because Megan Montero wrote this as well I will say it does seem to be a bit different then when Chancellor writes on her own. This book was unique and full of love, adventure, mystery and magic! The fantasy world really develops over the trilogy and I thought it to be magnificently creative! A charmed ending to the trilogy... But I can't wait for the next books in the series to come out!

The quest for the Astral Stone

The final book in this trilogy is action packed, so much going on, battles with the rebellion and The Royal Guard or Lardarious's men. Trying to find the ingredients for the potion and staying alive at the same time. It gets a bit difficult at times with so many different POV in this book that I find it hard to immerse myself in the story as the characters are all in different places in he same story. One minute I am reading about Ellie in New York and the next chapter Melanie is in 2nd Realm and then Stellan is in a different realm again. Overall it was a fun series to read, light hearted, no real sex or swearing and plenty of adventure.

Great ending for the first season!

Action packed from beginning to end. Plot twists at every turn. The end to the first season did not disappoint. I can't say any more without revealing spoilers, so I'll just say this; This Book Was Phenomenal!! Megan and Chandelle have created an amazing new world, and I can not wait to see what surprises they have in store for the next seasons. When these two evil masterminds put their minds together, there is no doubt we have a crazy and thrilling ride ahead. Well done ladies! Thank you for bringing this world to life.

Master Mage is a well written book that ties up the first trilogy in this world with a real sense of completion. There are no questions left unanswered about this aspect of the story with regards to Stellan, Ellie, Savina and Co. yet there were just enough teasers to allow eager anticipation for the next series in the Night Realm.
I particularly enjoyed the character reveals in this book, the development of secondary characters and the growth of the main characters especially Ellie and Savina.

Great series, horrible editing

I love anything by Chandelle and this series is great, but I struggled with the amount of spelling, grammar and punctuation errors. I gave up on submitting the errors as I'm not paid to be their editor. Its a shame, because it took away from the experience of getting lost in a book. Hopefully they can find a new editor and go through and update the errors after the fact.

Loved it!

Another amazing book from Chandelle and Megan and a great ending to the trilogy! I loved this world and it’s characters from the very first book and it’s safe to say the third was just as good. I can’t wait to read more books within this world and I would highly recommend this series to everyone looking for a fun, YA, fantasy read

Excellent as always!

Chandelle and Megan are evil geniuses and I LOVE the bada$$ women they bring to life.

I enjoyed Ellie and Stellan’s story and everything wrapped up nicely for them, but definitely left it open to see them in future Night Realm stories. I can’t wait to meet the next strong female they dream up!

Terrific Conclusion!!

This was such a great ending to the first trilogy of this series! I absolutely loved every moment! Some of the revelations in this one I did not see coming whatsoever. I loved how I was always kept guessing at how things were going to go. The ending was so good, but I'm also excited for the next trilogy!!

The besties have done it again. This, the final book in this season will leave you breathless and glued to your seat as you are taken for a wild ride. Questions are answered, trips are taken, and action is non-stop.
So grab a drink and some tacos and buckle up for the ride, because as always these two amazing authors do not disappoint

Epic ending or a brilliant set up for more...?

Ellie and all are back to finish what they have started, save the realm and do it with sass and enough pop culture references to make even the grumpiest internet troll smill like he was given a free goat!!!! No spoilers, because this is just too good to ruin!!!!

Great finish, bugger wait time.

Loved the finish, perplexed at the same time though! The trouble with great stories is they leave you feeling famished with all the closure you'd been looking for, but then so hungry for the next instalment in true duplicitous form. The stories of the Stone Keepers was obviously going to come, it's all the waiting that gets up my bum.

This might be the end of the Stone Mage. however the author left a teaser to latch onto for another book in possibly another stone keeper in another realm. The story of Ellie, Stellen and the mage realm are for all intents and purposes over. The villains have been dealt with new royalty crowned and the realm healed. Happily ever after? I doubt it!

World Peace

Good and enjoyable I haven't stopped reading. I love the story and I enjoyed each of the people. I wish I had magic and could some of the things that they could do.
Right now our world is so bad that we need somebody or a group of them to bring peace and order to it.

Ding dong, the monster's dead

Ellie and Stellan must get the Astral Stone remade to save all the realms. Who and what show up to help is a whole lot of surprises, a dead princess and three Nephillum that they both have known for years, but not as those. Wonderful read, plenty of action, betrayal, and a bit of love. Looking forward to more from these authors!

Excellent Ending

This was such a satisfying end to Ellie and Stellan's story. As much as I'm never ready to let go of characters I love, everything was wrapped up nicely for them in this last installment of their story. I absolutely loved how the authors continued to sprinkle pop culture and geeky Easter eggs through the story, they all made me smile.

😻

When I first started this I was unsure if I’d like it or not. But the more I unraveled the secrets the more intriguing it became. Now I want to read about the other stone keepers. I also want to know more about the voodoo lady. Seriously who is she. And why did she want what she asked for!!!

This was an astonishing end to a wonderful and fun series. I have enjoyed this trilogy so much. I hope Chandelle LaVaun will write more about these wonderful characters later. I was surprised and so happy with each book in this series. This story is one that everyone who likes magic should read. A very fun read.
