That's me, Deib Lohr Enrile. Oo, isa akong bully, pero nag-promise ako na magbabago na sa huling taon ko sa high school para sa babaeng nagugustuhan ko. Pero mahirap palang magbago kapag may babaeng tumingin sa 'yo nang masama, kaya 'ayun pasimple ko siyang pinatid.

Bad trip naman kasi talaga ang Maxpein del Valle na iyon, transferee sa school namin. I hate her guts. Siya lang kasi ang lumaban sa lahat ng binully ko, kaya siyempre, hindi ako magpapatalo. Iyon nga lang, hindi ko maintindihan kung bakit parang unti-unti, nagagawa niyang baguhin ang pananaw ko sa buhay dahil sa makatwiran niyang prinsipyo. Teka, ibig bang sabihin, nagugustuhan ko na si Maxpein?

Hindi! Hindi puwede!

Okay so here's the thing: SA MISMONG WATTPAD KO ITO BINASA.

3 stars dahil sa mismong kalidad ng kwento. Yung characters, phases, and how it gave me the "realistically fictitious" feel here in this story.

The characters' roles were emphasized. Hindi sila yung dinagdag lang for the sake na si bida may best friend, si bida may ex. Lahat sila nagkaroon ng involvement sa kwento para umusad ito ng hindi pilit sa pakiramdam. Individually maganda silang subaybayan. Kumbaga pag may hindi ka kinilala na isa sa kanila, hindi mo maiintindihan kung paanong "He's Into Her" ang takbo ng kwento. Ganun ginawang importante ng manunulat yung mga characters niya. So kudos to the characterization part. 🙌

Next naman natin yung phase. Maganda para sa ganitong klaseng kwento yung matagal na usad. Hindi ako pinakilig neto dahil lang sa yun talaga ang isusulat sa libro. Kinilig ako dahil nasaksihan ko talaga yung galitan, sutilan, hanggang sa tanggihan na ng nararamdaman sa isa't-isa. Ang cute! 😂💞

Pangatlo. Realistically fictitious. Wew! Paano ko ba ipapaliwanag to, eh pumasok lang din sa isip ko? Pero sisikapin ko, sana makuha ang punto. Maganda at pangit at the same time yung pagiging realistic ng charaters at ang fictitious na rin na napapailing nalang ako pag nababasa ko na. May mga bagay dito na hindi naspecify at pag hinayaan mong maglayag ang utak mo habang nagbabasa, para ka na ring gumawa ng napaka-imposibleng character. (For example - yung kakayahan ni Maxpein na lumaban sa mga "gangsters", hindi specified kung anong klaseng martial arts ang alam niya, so ang ending nagmumukha na tuloy siyang sobrang fictional na nagmimismatch na sa talagang tema ng kwento na hindi naman fantasy). Mga ganung bagay ba.

Yung nawawalang 2 stars? Ayun nandun sa mga committed errors. Medyo sumakit talaga mata ko sa mga salitang " yinakap", "linayuan", " linoko" at marami pang iba. Bumagal pagbabasa ko dahil dun. Well sana nga pag nagkaroon na ako ng physical copy nito at basahin tong muli, mawala na yung mga rason at maging 5 stars kasi, maganda talagang kwento ito.

Binasa ko to sa dahilang gusto ko ng entertainment. Though hindi ibig sabihin na hindi na natin papansinin yung writing style kasi nakakabagal talaga yun sa pagbabasa.


At ayan na po ang tatlong bituin.

This is my second time re-reading this book this year. It's one of my favorite stories, so I ended up buying a physical copy of the series. Some parts weren't in the physical copy, but I like it more that way. No unnecessary thing mentioned.

Max and Deib's story is one of the few love stories, with a very long paced relationship, that I love!!!

Ps. The books are better than the series, but the actors in the series actually gave the characters justice.

From seasons 1–3, isahang review ko na rito (lol). First of all, naisip ko talaga gawing 2 stars 'yong rating, but pag naaalala ko kung paano ako pinasaya ng libro and all, I added 1 star.
 
In the book (from S1–3), the characters are toxic (and the cheating🥹) Nakaka-frustrate siya na nakakasakit sa puso. (Pag naaalala ko talaga moments niya with the other girl, hindi ko kinakaya) Alam mo 'yong mapapapikit ka nalang, hihinga, bago muling magbabasa? Actually, pag gusto ko mag reread, piling parte nalang ang binabasa ko dahil dyan. I have to admit that the books have a lot of flaws but are enjoyable, even though there are many errors. The writing style is not that good, but that's understandable since I think ang tagal na nito?
 
Despite that, it is still worth reading. So if you are into long stories, you can read this! I actually love the fact that they didn't immediately fall in love with each other. Sa sobrang tagal, umabot pa ng season 2. Pero hindi ka mababagot since every chapter, mag aabang ka ano susunod na mangyayari kasi nadadala ka na sa lahat ng eksena since hindi naman siya naka sentro sa romance talaga. ‘Yong pagiging strong ng characters, especially Max, nakaka-hook sa story, and that's what makes it enjoyable too. If you want to be entertained, this will really entertain you, especially since the characters are witty! That's also the one that I love about it, lahat ng characters sa kwento, mapapansin mo.

the story is over all good, just not really my cup of tea.

the story is written well, and the author made the whole thing interesting kaya kahit na hindi ko gaano ka gusto ang writing style niya eh nabasa ko pa rin ito. nakakahilo para sa akin ang writing style.

can't say anything else kasi medyo matagal na din nu g nabasa ko ito, 2 years ago to be exact kaya lahat po ng nababasa niyo rito sa review ko ay opinions ko as someone who re-read this and has different likings na.

Ang daming na edit, like yung mga emoticons noon like this (-__-) yung mga expressions ni Max hahaha!!! anim na beses ko ng reread to pero grabe parin iyak ko sa last part, at grabe parin ang pagkamangha ko kay Maxpein! 4 stars ang rating ko kasi ang ganda ng flow nung storya nakakamangha and very realistic sya. yung 1 star na nawawala sa writing style ni Author, medyo hilo parin ako hahaha!

One of my favorites. Just a mix of teenage and school life, coolness, and a lot more. You'll feel very powerful throughout the whole story, and you'll feel empowered irl because of the lessons you'll get from this book. Deib is a walking 🚩 while Maxpein is a mix of both 🚩🟢 HAHA

Still a four stars for me. The build up of the characters was good to me, I love the plot (BELIEVE ME). But every chapter of the story from Book 1 to 3 was too long, it bores me sometimes but I have to keep going because I’m curious of the plot.
