That was weird. I really liked the mask idea.
Actually, I like the idea of the mask in general,
whether it's a manga, a novel, a movie, or anything else.
I was really impressed with the events in the beginning.
But I started to feel that the heroine was very annoying,
and I couldn't love the hero very much. Honestly,
he was kind of cute, but he was shy in a strange way and annoying as well.
I tried to finish it, but I couldn't.😕

The book basically follows paperbag guy and Umi becoming close and the cuteness of those 2 together.

Well guys what a great way to start off the year 2021 and read this cute fluff! Its about Umi, a very laid back and "not bothered about life in general" college girl who meets a guy who wears a paperbag over his head to hide his face (hence the manga title that he's called Paperbag-Kun by Umi). Paperbag-Kun is your typical knight and shining armour that anyone needs in their daily life, especially tackling pervs who touch Umi. Paperbag Kun personality wise, is pretty much a timid clumsy guy who just loves Umi for who she is. Since I am not gonna spoil why he loved her in the first place throughout the 15 chapters of the manga, I'm just gonna say, it'll steal every single beat of your hearts lads..

Just get reading this in 2021 guys, it's just so sweeet! <3

This is such a cute story. Paperbag-kun, a shy college student who wears a paperbag on his head, confesses to his (longtime?) crush Asagi Umi, fellow college student. She doesn't quite understand him, but she gives him a chance. In this volume, Paperbag-kun goes out of his way to impress her and takes her on a real date.

Honestly, this is probably the most wholesome story, and both Paperbag-kun and Asagi Umi-san are such refreshing characters, like 10/10 recommend.

Um rapaz tão tímido que precisa cobrir seu rosto com um saco de papel para conversar com a garota que gosta. Ele possui muita dificuldade para socializar, então tudo que ele faz é aparecer fazendo algo para Umi-san, trazendo flores, carregando coisas pesadas para ela e a observando. Só que a amiga de Umi-chan confronta o comportamento incomum dele e o faz desistir de continuar atrás de Umi-chan, pelo menos por um momento. Eventualmente, eles passam a interagir e os sentimentos de ambos afloram – mas há algo que ele ainda precisa revelar a ela.
O envolvimento deles é muito doce – com eles como imaturos romanticamente – e com muita compreensão sobre as situações incomuns. Mesmo podendo desenvolver a carga dramática da história, o foco foi direcionado a tranquilidade e bom humor do casal – o que fez a história trazer muito conforto.

Fue un manga cortito y bonito
La historia de un chico con una bolsa de papel en la cabeza para ocultar su rostro, y busca formas de enamorar a su amada
Lo que me hizo ponerle 4 estrellas es que no me terminó de convencer las ilustraciones, por más bonitas que estuvieran, los tonos grises no me terminaron de convencer y los globos de diálogos a veces sentía que ocupaban más espacio del que requería, con una tipografía un poco más para un manga de acción más que shojo
Al igual, que a veces me parecía un poco excesivo las muestras de amor de Bolsa de papel, pero por lo demás un tomo bonito

Cutest thing ever. Possibly my favorite romances along with "Our Precious Conversation." I'm a sucker for fluff and nonverbal communication. It's such a cute story and I feel like a lot went on in chapter one with basically being introduced to the main characters and a stalker appearing. There is a reason why Kamibukuro covers his face and we find out later on in the series.

Both characters are adorable in their own ways and I really like their dynamics together despite the unusual nature of how it started. I’m eager to see how they become an official couple and am sad that this next volume is also the final volume.
