This enchanting story takes place in the Arctic. Saving endangered species is a lifelong journey for Lisa Barker and her husband Chet. It seems to have spilled over onto their 10 year old son Jamie as well.
Jamie loves his parents and after 3 years of Lisa living in the Arctic and working to save Polar Bears, and Chet living in Nebraska working from there, He has finally had enough and is rebelling. His rebelling is to vanish hoping it will bring his parents together. He really didn't think it through totally though. He ends up in trouble as any 10 year old would..
It brings his father to the Arctic though and through the search and rescue of Jamie and a young polar bear his parents are finally thinking about what they have lost and just maybe what they hope to regain? A few monkey wrenches are thrown in, namely a woman named Judy and some angry poachers. A special Christmas ornament and there you have the makings of a beautiful Christmas story. This book is a must read to bring some Christmas Magic your way!

Experiencing the darkness of Alaska at Christmas with a naughty and nice ten year old. Can Jamie bring his parents together? Or will Mrs. Claus and a magical ornament reconcile Lisa and Chet? As a person, who cherishes Christmas ornaments, I enjoy the premise of this delightful series - match making revealed with a mysterious ornament. Part romance, part mystery; but in keeping with the holiday season of hope and love. A Polar Bear for Christmas gives Lisa and Chet a second chance at love. Intriguing characters, twist and turn plot, with a HEA resolution. As readers, we can relate to a bizarre year, but will our holidays be magical?

A Polar Bear Christmas is book #29 in the Ornamental Match Maker series. When a magical polar bear ornament is sent to Chet Barker from Mrs. Claus to his home in Nebraska, he thinks it is from his wife who has been living and working in the furthest part of Alaska for the last three years. This year his son Jamie had went to visit his mom Lisa for Christmas. Who would think that the pushy Judy that is trying to get Chet to like her would cause so much trouble that Chet would have to go to Alaska and have a car wreck before he finally sees clearly what he really wants from life. A short but very good Christmas story.

A Polar Bear Christmas
Lisa and Chet have lived apart for three years. When their son Jamie goes to stay with his mother for Christmas an argument takes place and he runs off. Chet flies in after his son went missing. Seems they all need to be honest with one another.
Enjoyed the book.

A must read!
I really liked how Marlene pulled a twist on the couple. Not the usual chance meeting. You go through all the feels rooting for this family as they try to make the best choices to make everything work out.

An emotional but good read
Chet and Lisa married with son Jamie. They have been Separated for 3 yrs sharing their son.
I enjoyed reading this intriguing story and their story has a good HEA .

Sweet
Marlene Bierworth did an excellent job portraying the child Jamie's reaction to parents being separated. I enjoy this series and the whimsical portion about Santa and Mrs. Claus. I could easily visualize the bears from her discription.

Alaska
A young boy whose wish is for his parents to reconcile, helps them to see where they truly belong. Miracles and polar bears are a big part of their Christmas.

Still married, with a child, yet can't agree how to make it work. Mrs. Claus really has a challenge with this situation. Characters are interesting and the story moves along. Good quick read.
