This is one of the most interesting books I read this year. I admire the glamour; I'm enthralled by the turn of events and enjoyed being kept on tenterhooks while savouring through the pages.
In the incipient part of the story, I was dumfounded by Vivian, the protagonist, who is well to do but excessively rude and cocky. Her back story opens the eyes of readers to the ordeals and prevailing circumstances that has shaped her into the woman that she is.
Through out the story, the author gives an excellent representation of the Major character, putting into consideration the factors that have shaped her and making readers to appreciate why she acts the way she does. Aside being cocky and rude, I admire Vivian because she is independent, hard working, focused and assertive....
You see, in this life, no matter how strong, defensive and concealed, nearly everyone has a soft spot; and our Iron lady Vivian, is not excluded .... as she has granted some people access to her soft-spot and they are swaying it in ways she never expected. The point I'll love to raise here is in form of a question we should all ponder on. "Who has access to your soft-spot?"
Your life will be influenced in a certain way and will drive towards a certain direction depending on the type of people you grant access to your soft-spot.
Furthermore, I was also struck by a vital message that permeated throughout the story - "in our daily encounter with people it is important we should always show love and empathy."
This story has a handful of interesting themes I will love to discuss. If you have read this book buzz me and lets hangout online. If you haven't read it, I recommend it.
I read it on bambooks and I give it 10⭐s and more. Its engaging, well written and subtly loaded with lessons.
