Verfallen Asylum #1

Cute but Psycho

Rate this book
I'm certifiably insane. Just ask my amazing therapist. He's my soulmate and a vampiric serial killer. There's no one I'd rather stalk more.

Except no more late night slinking for me. I'm in The Asylum, committed as a danger to myself and others. They tell me I'm delusional, which they aren't wrong...except about what.

See, this place is made for supernaturals too dangerous to let roam free. The doctors, the staff, the family members that helped put us here are all in on it, trying to convince us magic is just another delusion. They plan to keep us here forever--sedated and docile.

Aren't we all just perfect test subjects for inhumane experiments? Well, the doctors think so at least.

Yeah... it's time to bust out of the loony bin. Unfortunately for our zookeepers we're the most dangerous supernaturals there are and we haven't been taking our medicine.

A genetically modified super alpha wolf monster. An ultra rare basilisk, so poisonous he can't leave any skin exposed. My dreamy serial killing vampire therapist.
Oh, and me. A genetic marvel, one of the few dhamphyr to ever exist and probably, just a little... more crazy than most.

Nighty, night Asylum. Don't let the nightmares bite.

Cute but Psycho, aka Insane but Good, was not what I was expecting. I wish it had more development between Nemo and Baz and a bit more of plot over smut, but overall it was an incredible read. If you’re in the mood for some insanely hot mm, pick this up. All I know is that I loved it and it left me wanting more lol

I loved this book with every fiber of my being. It was seriously insane. A wild & HUGE fucking mess and I ate it up like my last meal. I've always had a thing for legit crazy characters and this author did an exceptional job of truly making them off their rockers. I think I legit may start stalking her now because this book was the answer to my sick and twisted prayers. This book won't be for everyone. But it was all for me and easily a favorite now. The setting takes place in an insane asylum and really this is where all the characters belong. They are beyond nuts but mostly nuts about each-other. It was the perfect blend of insanity & hilarity. As the book is so long, some of the relationships are more on the slow burn side but once the heroine decides a man is hers, there's no getting away from her. Her obsessions were horrifyingly sweet and at the same time truly scary lol, I loved it. I'd also say this book is a true RH because there is love all around, the author holds nothing back so if M/M is not your thing you probably want to skip it for that alone. With that being said this book was HOTTTT. Like a bloody episode of True Blood where the blood lust rules all. I can't recommend this book enough for people who love crazy AF characters and are not afraid of getting down and dirty with these paranormal psychos, it was such an adventure and I already can't wait for a re-read of this one! And that epilogue just wrapped it altogether perfectly I couldn't have enjoyed it more.

**2023 Review**
It was time for a re-read and this book did not disappoint. Every single character is off their rocker quite literally and it made for one wild ride. I don't remember there being sooooo much graphic monster sex but I guess if I was locked up in an asylum with so few things to do, I would also find ways to occupy myself :P The heroine is an obsessive woman and if she decides your hers, that's it and damn if I didn't love her mindset. Considering she finds herself in love with a sadistic serial killer vampire, one could only assume the rest of her harem will be just as shocking as well. Though the whole mask thing kinda throws me off but to each is own!!!

This book was so, so strange. So. Strange. Criminally insane people falling in love--it’s just as messed up as you would expect, but then throw in the supernatural twist? This book is hard to explain without giving any spoilers. You either love it or you don’t. I suggest reading the free preview and seeing if this is your brand of messed up!
5 stars for me!

This was a wild ride. I honestly don’t even know what to say about this book. Just a bunch of certifiable monsters living life in a monster Asylum. There’s no deep plot or overly developed relationships, just one crazy, fun ride. It kind of read like a novella in that sense except it was 500 pages long. I really enjoyed it.

I love an FMC with no morals. She knew what she wanted and she went for it. The guys weren’t any better which was just a cocktail of disaster in the most entertaining way. For a pretty lengthy book, I got through it fairly quickly. It was just so entertaining reading about what they were going to do next. I liked the ending. It fit them perfectly as I didn’t see how else it could have went. The only thing I didn’t like was how they got to the end. It was a bit of a jump and happened too seamlessly for me.

If you’re looking for a not too serious mmmf, that’s dark and twisted about all kinds of unhinged monsters and spice, you should pick up this book.

Umm, this book was something I have no words for. Iykyk. This book was about an “asylum for unhinged, supernatural killers”, but so much more than that. I don’t think I’ve read a book with so much f**king in my life.😂 Everytime I thought I might would just stop reading I was so sucked in with the plot that I literally had to keep going. Not that I mind lots of seggs in my reads, but this was like a lot ALOT. I will have the sound of skin slapping in my ears for a few. Vampires, wolves and unspecified monsters—oh my!

I need a strong coffee asap!

girl with the tendency to lust over blood stalked her therapist, found bodies in his basement and got committed to an asylum for criminally insane killers who thought themselves monsters. or did they
🐛🐛🐛 now dicks round up

orson (the therapist) :
a vamp
licked her period blood

nemo :
thick thigh thick trunk
a werewolf shifter i think

baz :
venomous snake
cant take physical contact w breathing ppl so seek companion to the dead
the only one ive got notes for

(his pov)

’I was wearing nothing but tight boxer briefs as I swung Frank around in my room, a smooth dance between friends—nothing gay. My fingers gently grazed down his cheek, feeling the texture of his skin against mine.
He wasn’t a very lively dance partner but I was willing to forgive him, considering Frank was a corpse.’

(her pov)

“Room! Now!” Rachel screeched and I felt like throwing a temper tantrum because this was not fair. Drink the poison or be locked in your room! What the hell kind of place was this? It wasn’t like the other mental hospital I’d been to. Although really, if a place calls itself an asylum, that's one huge red flag! Then bringing up vampires ten minutes into the tour? Red flag two!
“Now, Rachel,” a male voice slithered in. Me and the nurse’s eyes rounded and our heads jerked towards the new addition to our act. It was the Venom guy. Just great. The creepiest fucker I’d ever seen was now here. He was probably going to offer to chop me in little pieces and put me in the dinner shake but not before rubbing each one of my pieces on his psycho crotch.
Nurse Rachel’s entire demeanor changed even if she was trying to act like it hadn’t. Jesus, even she was scared of this guy!
“Go back to your seat,” she said but didn’t dare even look at him. I raised a curious eyebrow and decided the hell with it, I wasn’t going to look at him either. I certainly didn’t want to attract the attention of anyone who liked wearing skin over their face. I turned my head in the opposite direction and tried to guess what Lunch Lady Carol was up to. Perhaps figuring out how to turn rusty tetanus nails into a meal.
“Look, I don’t normally like to swing my big dick around,” the guy said and my head jerked back around because fuck it, he was now speaking my language. Instead of looking at his Venom mask I eyed his crotch and tried to guess which line was fabric wrinkles and which line was dick imprint.

(his)

“I bet she likes listening to them fuck,” Harry grunted.
“Talk about throwing bricks in glass houses,” I said with a snort.
“What’s that supposed to mean?” Harry said with a heavy cockney accent. He hadn’t actually had that accent when alive but I thought it somehow suited him in death.
“It means both you and Frank are always watching me jerk off,” I said, pushing away from the table and snatching up my mask and gloves. Today was a plague doctor mask, complete with gold details attached to the leather beak and framing the black goggle eyes.
“You do realize you literally prop us up to watch you, right?” Frank said. I ignored him then shoved them both under the bed while Rachel started to knock on my door again. Funny thing about my venom, it kept corpses looking fresh. These two had been my friends for quite a while now and yet they looked the same as the day they died.

baz nemo

’No! I didn’t, I hated him. I hated his fucking body and his fucking face and his fucking smell that was swirling in my head making me dizzy. I didn’t like his cock. I didn’t like his deep voice and muscular chest. I shook my head, trying to dislodge the confusion in my head.
“Stop caressing my cock you fucking weirdo,” Baz rasped, over his should. His gloved hand pressed into the hand that gripped his cock. Instead of trying to pull me off, he pushed against my hand and encouraged it up and down. A little breathy noise fell from his mouth and my cock was leaking again.
What the hell? He was supposed to throw me off him, kick my gut, and tell me to fuck off. Just like what happened before. But he wasn’t and it confused me. I ground my teeth.
“I hate you. Just stay still,” I said biting his shoulder. Baz went ramrod still and sucked a breath through his teeth.
“This is the strangest porn I’ve ever seen,” Bree said and I tried to look at it from her viewpoint, watching a massive beast of a man like me grind against a man in a clown mask while we both told each other how much we hated each other. “But you know, I think this is doing something for me,” she added nodding her head.’

overall

interesting for sure. the premise was not boring and the couples were pretty hot + each character has their own personality. it was also well written on top of that. which is why i cant really explain why it took me sooooooo long to finish (with the help of some skimming at that). interesting as i found this book, it didnt make me have the desire to read on / wanna know whats going to happen next like it shouldve

anyone who likes rh will def enjoy this. everyone fucks everyone. i did, just not that much. and if i didnt at least upper3starred this one then thats my cue to take a damn break from the trope coz theres sumn wrong w my brain

This book was dark, psychotic but so fascinating. It’s about Bree who has been obsessing over her therapist Orson. She stalks him to a basement one day and realises that he is a serial killer but Orson turns the table and sends her to an asylum proving that she is the one who killed the ppl. Bree there meets with Baz who everyone is scared of and Nemo who is an experiment. I dont know what to say. Seriously this book is so fucked up and i loved each second of it. Its a paranormal rh book with dark humor, these 4 are literally psycho. They want to kill each other all the time but dont cuz they love one another simultaneously... and not like killing each other in a romantic or sweet way ( idk if there is any kind of killing like that) but they legit want to kill each other cuz of fun and revenge kinda. Baz is my favourite, he is crazy. This book might be really fucked up in every way but there are some emotional scenes. It kept me hooked till the end, i dont read that much dark fucked up books like this which is why i didnt like some parts cuz they were so psychotic but overall i enjoyed reading it a lot. It was so intriguing and different from the other books and it takes place in an asylum, and the characters are not sane. Each and everyone of them are crazy.

2.5-3 stars?

This was entertaining in a cringey, gory, kinky, scary movie kind of way. Definitely OTT, nothing makes sense, but still kind of fun. My review will have some spoilers.

Cast of characters:
👩🏻‍🦰Bree - dhampyr (half-vampire), struggles with her mental health, stalker, obsessive
🧛🏼Orson - vampire, therapist, serial killer, pervert
🐍Baz/Basil - basilisk, venomous so he can't be touched, plays with corpses, has lived in the asylum since he was 10
🐺Nemo - 'werewolf', genetically modified/experimented on since before he was born, has always lived in the asylum

So going into this it seemed like Orson was going to be a huge focus of the book and after the beginning, he just really wasn't. Not only that but even as an anti-hero he's super unlikeable. He's a prolific serial killer who targets Bree for her blood which would allow him to walk in the sunlight. He's also been Bree's therapist for 3 years and she's obsessed and stalking him. When she messes up his years-long plan he frames her for his crimes, locks her up in the asylum and plans to have her essentially live as his pet there under his control and medication. Bree is crazy and not at all down with that so she forms a revenge plan while still acknowledging that Orson is her soulmate and she loves him no matter what. She befriends Baz because he's venomous and has special privileges in the asylum and basically uses him for protection and to make Orson jealous enough to snap and end up locked up like her when he exposes his secrets. In getting to know Baz though she falls for him as well because who wouldn't. Nemo is Baz's archnemesis/frenemy and Bree mostly interacts with him through forced proximity experiments and they become close reluctantly. Both Baz and Nemo, aside from being the most feared people in the asylum, are just really tender-hearted little cherubs. Neither of them enjoys killing and honestly, they both just crave love and affection. So aside from being a little unhinged they were both cute and adorable and had a whole backstory together since they've lived there so long.

My main problem with this book (aside from it being way too fucking long for the kind of book it is) is that since it's a reverse harem not only should everyone be distinct and interesting on their own (I feel that was done well enough), but you should also like everyone equally and Orson was definitely the odd man out aside from Bree's obsession with him. Like I said above Baz and Nemo have history and although it's complicated and contentious you believe in their bond, but they never really fully warmed to Orson, they just kind of tolerated him and referred to him as the perverted serial killer because he's obsessed with being choked and gets off on it.
Here are Baz's words on him: "I just wanted them-my pack-Bree and Baz... and sort of Orson. I grimaced at him and he smiled widely like the pervert he was."
So while Orson evolved from his evil disdain for Bree and all living beings in general I wish he had formed a deeper connection with everyone. It didn't even seem like Bree loved him as much as the others, honestly. And *spoilers* throughout the book Nemo reveals that Baz and Bree are his mates...but not Orson and he's a shifter so having mates means something. Bree claims they're all her soulmates, but kinda weird that the reverse isn't true.

Besides the RH aspect, this book was a bit ridiculous... the asylum setting was fun for obvious reasons, but literally nothing about it made sense. The patients were allowed too much freedom despite rules, the main characters were allowed to be alone together way too much, no survelliance or monitoring no matter what rules they broke. Also the main bad guy evil scientist was supposedly trying to observe Nemo's reactions to medications to sell him to some unknown person (that plotline got completely forgotten), but only got data by asking questions after that they all refused to answer...like dude, install one security camera and all of your problems would be solved. Obviously, if this setting made sense it wouldn't be any fun to read because the characters would never interact, but ya know, just gotta point it out.

This was an insanely gory and kinky book. I love the 'Content warnings/tropes & other details' at the end of the blurb for this book😂 probably the longest one I've ever seen and every single thing on that list happens, some more than once so if something on that list doesn't sound fun don't read this lol. There's also a lot of MM in this, more than any other RH book I've ever read. The period scene was hilarious and kind of nostalgic in a 'Oh, so that's how Edward would've acted during Bella's period if Twilight was a porn' kind of way😅. Overall, I had a pretty good time reading this, it was just a bit long and ridiculous.

I was riding the high of this story until it hit around the 90% mark. Then it kind of became ...I don't know...

...There is just something about someone calling themselves "bad*ss" that makes it a little less so. The storyline did well to try to pick up again, until...

Beyond that little hump that made me scratch my head, it picked up again with an amazing epilogue.

*4.5 stars. I rank this book dark on my darkness scale*

Easily the best book I’ve read all year. ✨
However, it is important to note I’m a morally questionable person.

MMMF - Dark Paranormal Romance.

Female MC is absolutely hilarious, literally I was cracking up the entire book. I liked 2 of the MCs. Orson EHHH, but hey she got him back anyway.

The plot was super good, they were in an insane asylum for supernatural creatures.

However, there was a TON of VERY detailed smut. No lie, a ton. this book was over 500 pages. But the plot and a characters are so good if you don’t like smut it’s genuinely worth paragraph hopping over the smut.

Someone tell me how I completely bypassed the blurb of this book, and the cover where it says a PARANORMAL ASYLUM REVERSE HAREM and completely missed the fact that there were vampires in this book. It’s been sitting on my kindle app for ages just waiting to be read, and I had no idea.

It’s fucking wild you guys. Oh my god. It’s not just vampires, she’s got a harem of monsters, and they’re all unique to say the least.
I don’t even know how to explain this one, but let’s try.

Girl obsessed with her therapist finds out there’s much more to him then meets the eye and ends up locked up in an insane asylum, where she meets two other monsters who make up her harem.
It’s spicy as hell, there’s so much spice. It’s almost more spice than anything else.

It’s also real dark. Lots of gore.

Did I mention the sword crossing? It’s there and it’s fantastic.

And Mates! Y’all there’s knotting!! I almost forgot the knotting. Oh my god.

I seriously think I need to start reading more PNR cause this one took me on a wild ride i wasn’t sure I wanted to get off of.

The only thing I was craving was a little more romance, but Im not even mad.
Definitely pick this one up if you haven’t already and love dark, gory unhinged monster p0rn. 🖤

DNF at 4%

I have to be honest and admit I didn't even finish the 1st chapter. I tried though, lord knows I tried. I have been trying for the last 4 days, but I just couldn't connect with the FMC.

What I read were mostly her inner thoughts and they were delusional and no matter how a thought started it ended in a sexual tone. I don't know how else to describe it other than ridiculous. I was expecting the psycho part to be more the character doesn't have the same moral compass and less the character has lost touch with reality.

If you like dark paranormal RH with some sword crossing, do yourself a favor and read this book (but first check TWs, there’s a loooot of blood, gore and killing).
Honestly, the whole smuttok is sleeping on this book and it’s embarrassing!! It is such a hidden gem.
So, our heroine Bree ends up in an asylum for monsters, she’s horny af but doesn’t take shit from anybody. She and her three men are insane and chaotic but it was such a delight to read their povs. Their thought process is pretty normal but its topics is what gives their insanity away. I was excited to read about people who are so unhinged that they don’t have any hard limits.
The whole book is just SPICE, the middle drags a little but there are occasional funny moments that were hilarious in their absurdity, so I was interested almost the whole time and felt like I was losing my mind too. All the characters are different and well written, and I looooved my touch starved boy Baz.
I feel like after this book nothing will surprise me anymore lol

Paranormal, Supernatural Monster, Insane Asylum, WhyC? w/MM and FM, Can Be Read as a Standalone.
Expect a lot of Hate Sex and Alpha MMC's trying to Dominate one another through Fighting/Fucking (the line is very blurry between those two F's) Also, Blood Play, Choking, and a ton of other kinky fuckery.

I'm so conflicted right now, I always root for the main character no matter how dark or morally gray they may be. This is the only time I thought "Maybe we should leave the main characters locked up and throw away the key".

I love stalker romance and obsessive crazy-level love stories, typically it's not the FMC who psycho-stalks in the books I read, and usually the other half/person stalked is the one who is calm and rational bringing some much-needed control to the relationship. Ever wonder what happens when they're all insane and nobody is the voice of reason? Well read this book and find out.

This FMC does do Ava Max's song justice. She's stalking her psychiatrist and is crazy in love with him. However, the psychiatrist ends up being just as crazy but in a more stabby way. In his attempt to have full control over her he gets her locked up in the Asylum he works at so he can have unfettered access to her. Does our FMC now hate her psychiatrist Yes, but that doesn't stop her from thinking they're still soul mates. She wants revenge but only if it means she can keep him close to her forever.

While at the Asylum she meets two more crazy monsters that she decides are her soul mates also. When all four of these psychos come together for a common goal NOBODY is safe. Granted they're killing inside an Asylum full of criminally insane supes and staff who experiment on the patients which made it hard to feel bad for anyone who died because the Four Psycho MC's went on a killing spree. But it does make you wonder who the real bad guy is, the people who created the monsters or the monsters themselves?

Naturally, the main characters put some thought into escaping this Asylum, and my honest reaction was...
Oh My God NOOOOO!!!!! They can't live in a normal society!
The most freedom I would feel comfortable giving this bunch is dropping them on a deserted island in the middle of nowhere and letting them fend for themselves.

Nobody in the group has a moral compass, at least one person in the Harem needs to be the conscience that reigns in the other psychos. Without that, we have complete bedlam, which is what this book is.

Cute but shouldn't be

Wow, I think this is the strangest, most disturbing book I've read. I shouldn’t like it. I shouldn’t have been in obsessed with the character's. But I was.
I was looking for a unique, dark, fun, RH with psychos and that's exactly what i got and couldn't have been happier. My actual only complaint is there isn't more.

I am so happy to have finally dived into this book after it sitting on my TBR pile for far too long. This was so much more than I could have ever expected from Beatrix Hollow. This was so unique, quirky, H I L A R I O U S might I add, and unhinged. I absolutely had the best time!

There is so much going on in this book, it's hard to sift through it all and summarize my thoughts, without giving away any spoilers. So, I'll keep it simple. I loved every single character in this book. Literally everyone. This was another one of those books that just felt like a full series television show. that you binged the sh*t out of, because it's that addictive.

🧛🏻‍♂️Orson, he didn't win so many points with me in the beginning. But, his character arc? Chef's kiss🫴🏻💋!
🐍Baz, I loved him on sight. He was such a scene stealer. He gave me Joker/Harley Quinn vibes and he was so damn loveable.
🐺Nemo, as silly as it is to say because iykyk...but, he was so adorable! Looking at his character after you learn everything that there is to learn...I can't think of a better word to summarize him.
🩸Bree, the bad, psychotic b*itch of all psychotic b*tches! She was so insane and I loved her for it.

This book just hit the spot on exactly what I needed. My only complaint is that the ebook I own, had an increasing amount of typo's. It disrupted me a bit but, nonetheless this story deserves a lot of praise. It was so original, wild, deranged, bloody, again I have to reiterate the pure comedy in here is so well done! I snorted and cackled so much that my husband gave me multiple side eyes. I can't wait to read more of Beatrix's books and am so glad that I started with this one. It gave me a good taste of her talented mind🖤

WTF did I just read? This wasn’t a romance. This was a dark, disturbing, twisted, f*cked up monster story with an insane plot and LOTS of monster kinky times.

I’m not sure what to even say. I’ve never read anything like this. Usually my favorite part of a story is the plot but considering I couldn’t quite wrap my mind around the plot I have to say the kinky parts were the shining star.

Bree, the half-vampire. Orson, the vampire serial killer. Baz, the venomous basilisk. Nemo, the mutated wolf shifter. A crazy, supernatural asylum with reanimated corpses. Masks. Knots. Blood. Violence.

Hahahaha I feel a bit psychotic after reading this one. Let me tell you this hit all the marks for Halloween and while I can’t imagine rereading this one often, I have to admit it was unbelievably unique and gruesome. I am simply amazed by some author’s imaginations and I’m so glad I took a chance with this story.

So let me get this straight just stick every mad, bad, twisted and sadistic Paranormal/Supernatural in one Asylum to see what will happen. The sadistic ones are not just the inmates either. This book is definitely full of twists and turns. One being that stalking her Doctor (Orson) Bree (FMC) ends up becoming part of his bloody game by getting locked up at Verfallen Asylum. Only not all is what it seems there. Doctor Orson has Bree there as his own personal pet. Add to that a genetically modified wolf - Nemo and a poisonous basilisk - Baz. Yes this book is very dark with plenty of violence throughout this book and there is a level of dark humour with it. I couldnt help but laugh at some of the sheer nuttiness of it. Baz especially. His dry wit and his off of the wall humour just had me dying laughing. In reality you shouldnt really like these bloodthirsty characters but i honestly flaming loved them. Its a brilliant read

Oh okay, didn’t expect to love this but LOVED THIS! Highly dark and perverse PN RH, very naughty in a tongue in cheek way. It wasn’t even Bree who made it, though she was literally cute but psycho. Orson is wonderfully unhinged and psychotic. Very into his manic, obsessed side. Nemo, love his beastly, love his anger and brutishness. But BAZ, Basil is my favorite. Lonely, hurting, hilariously catty and witty, he made the story even more enjoyable. Very creative and sexy as SIN. A crazily fun escape that doesn’t take itself too seriously, while still being well written and enjoyable to devour.

I have no idea what the story is. It seemed more like a porn in an asylum

(3.5) Damn! So Bree has this dark and lustful fascination with Dr. Orson who is secretly the Bloodless Butcher and a Vampire. Bree’s family is over her antics and commits her to Verfallen Asylum for the Criminally Insane for believing she’s
a Dhamphyr. Once there she finds out Dr. Orson is a therapist at the Asylum and every patient there is “different” and by different I mean supernatural in some way. Our little Dhamphyr not only falls for Dr. Vampire but for Nemo who is a werewolf and Baz a Basilisk 😜. Not only that but there is a crazy doctor who has been experimenting on everyone, Nemo the longest. After several foursomes and crazy sex they come together to take down Dr. Stein and rule over Verfallen Asylum

Let me see. . .hmmm. What exactly won me over to this crazy, blood-drenched, erotically twisted story. Maybe it was the very first few pages starting off by Dr. Orson's murder cooler being found by his patient and apparently long-time stalker, Bree. You kind of expect it to go off the rails from here, right?!?

"He stepped in the room looking like an assassin porn star."

So flagrantly wild statements like this, quickly have been intrigued. I smirk as I'm listening to this at work (hey, I'm a multitasker). Then comes the real cray-cray.

"I licked my lips, envisioning him flipping me around, yanking down my leggings, and plunging his psycho d!ck in my wet crazy-girl pu$$y, taking me right here against the wall of his murder cooler. . ."

I was so taken in by the story (mind you that this is still only like 10 pages in) at this point and the blatant boldness of these characters that I burst out loud when I heard that statement. Imagine trying to explain to coworkers why you are suddenly laughing and finding hard to stop. I couldn't tell them. Even now I'm still smiling.

This book just gets better. Go into knowing that everyone is psychotic or crazy as a loon and expect the unexpected. It won't disappoint. It's wild and disjointed, at times physical passion means more than anything else (even freedom) to these chaotic characters.

These characters are often base, not seeing beyond what's in front of them, and think only of their own selfish desires. But that is what often is real mental disease for some people, living in your own world, with your own wants and desires. This may be a very simplistic version of it, but the author does get some of the more manic or extreme symptoms down. So keep that in mind

It is really just a fun book with lots of MF times and some MM. It's a 'Why Choose?' thing and 'Can I Watch?' with this girl so expect her to be up for the view. After reading this book. I'll be reading more from the author.

Wow, so I finally finished this! I'm unsure how to rate this, maybe 3.75? It's a bit of a tricky one.

First things first: this book is completely ridiculous. Don't go into it thinking you're going to get something serious and meaningful, because that is clearly not what it is going for. It is basically a book about completely depraved characters who are all murderers and who have a ton of sex in a mental asylum.

However, there was a lot I liked about it and I think this book's saving grace, for me, was that it didn't take itself too seriously.

Bree was a little annoying as a character, but she got better as the book went on. Baz is by far the best character, and Nemo and Orson got better as the book went on.

I did almost DNF this by about 35%. This is a 500+ book set in one place, with characters who repeat their actions quite a lot. I got bored and picked another book up, but I found myself wanting to come back to this, and I'm glad I did. The last third was much stronger that the rest, mainly because more actually happens.

If you like your characters villains who don't give a crap about being redeemed and a ton of smut, and your like RH, then give this a go!

This is a book you don't want to like, but you do anyway. The characters are insane and not in a little bit freaky kind of way, they are clinically insane but you can't help but like them because they are nuts. The story is cute in a messed up way. I liked the ending
