No way out of it—Christmas 2020 was going to be different.
But Jackson Crow and Angela Hawkins are “home for Christmas.” Other agents are covering the office and they’ve just bought a home with a yard for their baby daughter and adopted son.
But their neighbor, newly widowed, hears strange noises in the yard, a rustling. She might be a little eccentric, but bodies have been found in the Potomac River. Accident or murder? The deceased couple had left behind an autistic son and fingers are pointing toward the boy.
Jackson and Angela are not on the case . . .
Until the “rustling” in the yard brings them into it, and their Christmas will be on hold as they rush to keep the consequences of the events from bringing about another death. But the spirit of the season is with them, and they will do what they can to save lives—and Christmas itself for their family.

This past year, Heather Graham has been writing little holiday-theme stories involving the Krewe. The Krewe is a specialized unit with the FBI who all have some kind of psychic gift. I have thoroughly enjoyed them and they are great for in between the full-length murder mysteries involving The Krewe. 😁👍

Apparently I checked out a variety of short Christmas reads, probably in the middle of the night recently. So...this was another very short and sweet story of love and being good neighbors as celebrated by FBI agents who see ghosts. Who knew? Since they recently purchased house close to Arlington cemetery they got a visitation and they concluded with hope. It was a good sampling of the author, so that was helpful.

A beautiful story of love and kindness
This short story is a lovely Christmas story about a tragic accident and the chance to help two lost souls. The elderly man who is a ghost wants to help a severely autistic young man be safe. Jackson and Angela help find the missing young man before he can be arrested for a crime he did not commit. Their special ability to see and talk to ghosts also allows them to connect him to his wife so he can say goodbye to her. In the time of covid, many people have passed alone but they get him the chance to say goodbye.

A lovely Christmas story
Angela and Jackson are home for Christmas with their two children and their two dogs. A neighbor hears strange sounds and she’s afraid it has something to do with two people who drowned nearby. There’s a ghost who is trying to help a boy who is a suspect in the drowning but he needs a bit of help from the living. In these pandemic times, love and hope makes us stronger.

I love these short stories!
I have been reading Krewe of Hunters since they first came out. I love them.
I also really like these short stories Heather has started doing about Angela & Jackson. Very different from Krewe novels. Softer and gentler but still fun and with her wonderful characters.

It is always nice to visit with Jackson and Angela, of the Krewe of Hunters. It is Christmas and they have moved into their new home. They are taking some time off to enjoy the holidays and their children. Of course, there are visitors and are blessed to be able to do what they do best. Merry Christmas.

Never judge a book.by its cover
I just love her her books, haven't read one I don't like. Her stories are easy to follow and have some meaning.

Wonderful
I absolutely loved this story. Made me cry at the end. Hope peace and love. I really like that Heather incorporates the world events in her stories and I just wished everyone that has lost someone during this time had the chance to say goodbye like their new friend did. Loved it!

Holiday treats
No real crime, but the ghost saved the day. A HEA and Jackson are back with Corby in a Christmas short story. The addition of their new neighbor and the autistic teenager and friendly ghost made for a quick and delightful read. I o these little novellas with Angela and Jackson as they continue to be the touching stone of the Krewe and one of my favorite couples!

A Delightful Holiday Story
Jackson Crow and his wife, Angela, are in their new home in Arlington when they meet a ghost from the nearby cemetery. He leads them to an autistic boy who local police are about to go after with guns drawn because they have been told that he may be dangerous because his parents have drowned in the Potomac. A very heartwarming story for the holidays.

I love the Krewe of Hunters series so much. And this quick holiday novella is no exception. I enjoyed it very much. I love reading that Jackson and Angela Crow have a life outside of the FBI...and that they're always happy to help their friends.

Jackson and Angela have Christmas off with their adopted son and new baby in their new home. But set in Christmas 2020 with social gatherings discouraged and vaccines still on the horizon, it doesn't exactly give me that cozy Christmas feel I need for this Christmas.

This was a heartwarming Christmas story!
Loved this story! So glad Kenneth was alright and would have a wonderful place to live. Everything that Heather Graham writes is phenomenal! Love all her ghostly/ romantic mysteries. Can't wait for more of her full length Krewe mysteries!
