When your heart belongs to two guys, your only choice is to split it.

Maddie Rose's heart belongs to two guys: Aaron, the football player who always makes her laugh, and Logan, the musician who makes her feel safe and comfortable. The boys are done competing for her attention. She must choose one before the school year starts or end up alone.

To help her decide, Maddie's friend drags her to a psychic, who promises she can end up with both boys. A single decision will split her heart in two. Now unknowingly living in two alternate realities, one where she chose Aaron and one where she chose Logan, Maddie's still not sure she made the right choice. But should she change her mind, there's a chance she'll lose them both.

Alicia Rades is a USA Today Bestselling Author of over forty young adult and new adult paranormal novels. Her stories follow characters in equal-dynamic romantic relationships and feature themes of discovering and claiming one's inner power. When she's not dreaming up magical stories, she's either binge-watching paranormal TV shows, meditating, or making crafts and cooking with her family. Her favorite tropes are small-town mysteries, witches, and magical academies set in the modern world. She has an unhealthy obsession with psychic characters and writes with a deck of tarot cards next to her computer.

Wow, this is a lot different than what I am used to by this particular author, but in a good way. She literally took us on a twisted Déjà vu journey that has left me a bit speechless. This is for sure one story that I have never read before. I did love the outcome and the lesson behind it, though I kind of had my suspicions about how it would end. And that is the magic behind this authors writing. Rades created a world that twisted the story that left me pondering and rethinking things that I had just read. This was a remarkable and fascinating story that kept me intrigued and entertained. The characters were awesome and the story-line was very addicting and I highly recommend this awesome read.

The author provided me with a digital ARC copy of the book for review purposes only. No remuneration was exchanged.

Alicia Rades has done it again. She's written a wonderful, wholesome story that is true to the age group represented and managed to hold my attention the entire story through.

Like most of her other books, SPLIT has some sort of psychic / paranormal element, but I'll leave that for you to discover as you read.

When I first read the blurb, I was concerned how two realities could be put into one book without it becoming a cluster of a mess. With that being said, I was totally wrong. Alicia has effortlessly found the required balance to bounce back and forth between different realities without forcing us to relive already told details, and keeping the story fresh for us, and delivering a satisfying ending.

Make sure to grab your copy to follow along as the main character goes back and forth between the two boys she just couldn't give up, and see which one she decides to choose in the end.

This time there are no ghosts, BUT there is a psychic and some magic. If you are in love with two boys and have to decide, what do you do? I would have loved to have this possibility and keep them both. Or would I? I loved that Maddie grew more during the story and became a stronger person. That she wouldn't give up herself for a boy. And even if I thought, in the beginning, that both boys would make a great boyfriend, I thought less and less of them throughout the book. "Split" is an amazing book to help everybody see, that you don't have to have a boyfriend to feel good and have a good life. It's absolutely 100% okay to take your life in your own hands and be happy. Thanks Alicia Rades for giving me the opportunity to read this book. It was a great, interesting read, that brought on some good questions for discussions at my house.

I beta read this book for the author and I am giving my honest review for the ARC of it. I really liked this book but that isn’t saying much since I REALLY LIKE all of Alicia’s books and I am even listening to her Frost Series on audiobook and will give my review on those when I finish. This book follows a girl who can’t decide and choose between two guys in school that want to date her.. Story of every girls life right? She gets help from someone in making her choice a bit easier and she goes through different scenarios on what it’s like to be dating each guy but there is a twist at the end that I won’t give away.. you’ll just have to get it on April 4th on Amazon and read it yourself. I can’t wait to read more of Alicia’s books as she writes them.. I think that she is a phenomenal author with great potential to do big things in the author world.

Split is an amazing story about a teenage girl named Maddie who is unable to decide which boy she likes more, Aaron the jock or Logan the artist. Maddie must choose one but a psychic tells her she can have both. Unbeknownst to Maddie, she is thrown into two alternate realities, one in which she chose Aaron and the other in which she chose Logan. Truth be told, at first I was team Logan but towards the end of the book, I felt like Maddie did and found it hard to decide. Of course in full Alicia Rades fashion, there was a nice little twist at the end.

If I were to summarize any more of the story I would give away too many spoilers. Alicia Rades weaves a great tale of love and life lessons in Split. I highly recommend this book to anyone who enjoys young adult books.

I was given a book in exchange for an honest review free of persuasion from the author or anyone else affiliated with this book.

Maddie has to decide between two guys. (We should all have such problems right?) Before choosing, Maddie visits a psychic who tells her that she can have both. However she is warned that she may lose both.

Another entertaining ya paranormal romance by Alicia Rades. She splits the character's world and allows two versions of Maddie's life play out. It is a very entertaining ya book with a pinch of magic, a dash of romance, and a lot of heart. The pacing is spot on. I love the friendship in the center of it all. The reader gets to take two journeys with Maddie. I recommend this book to anyone who loves clean paranormal romances. It is a fun read.

This is a cute little story in a "Sliding Doors" style.

Maddie has a difficult decision. She has to choose between two boys wanting a relationship with her. Does she choose Logan, the quiet musician or Aaron, the sporty friend that she has known since she was a kid?

Split has Alicia Rades' typical easy reading style with sweet characters that you can relate to. It is a definitely a nice addition to the contemporary fantasy genre for teen audiences.

I received this as an ARC which I voluntarily read in exchange for an honest review.

Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this book as much as the other books by Alicia Rades that I've read.

Although this book was well written and had an interesting concept, I felt the characters were a bit juvenile for their ages and it was more suited to the younger end of the YA spectrum. I think that preteens and young teenage girls would relate more to the events taking place and also see themselves and their friends in the characters.

However, I did enjoy the ending and was pleased with the message that came out of it, something that all girls (of any age) should take note of.

I enjoyed this YA read. This book is truly aimed at teenagers. I can't and won't say much because I don't want to give anything away, but there is a good life lesson in this book :-) In true Alicia form there is a slight paranormal twist to it, but it was done well! At first I was wondering how it would work but it was great! Alicia really knows what she is doing. I would recommend this for teen girls 13 and up, pretty much when they start going boy crazy LOL

I actually won this in an Amazon Giveaway. This is my first book by this author. When I read the blurb on this book I was not sure how it was going to work. Maddie is split on picking between two guys. One is a football player and one is a musician. Her friend takes her someplace to help her make her decision. She lives in two spilt realities one for each one. But if she changes her mind could she end up losing them both? There is a lot of risk going on here.

This book was amazing. Mix in a normal teenage high school student, two great guys and a psychic. What's not to love. Alicia did it again. She made me feel the emotions of the characters and made me even fall for the guys to a point. And the choices made at the end of the book change everything. But it changed it all for the good

I honestly have to say I liked this book, especially the personality of Maddie. I think the reason why I gave it a four is because it kind of drags a little with each boy (but maybe it's my own opinion 🤷🏼‍♀️). But otherwise I thought it was very good.

Well written, smooth flowing and easy to read. The author did a good job portraying the characters and their emotions.

I loved the characters. I'm sure every teen can relate to the situations in the book. The joys of high school and young love.

How many times would we all like to be able to do this?

What a fascinating idea to be given the opportunity to be able to learn from your choices to then move on to using that knowledge.
