Misterius dan pendiam. Lari daripada keluarga kerana perbezaan pendapat dan daripada cinta yang dirundung nestapa.
Aisha
Gadis polos dari kampung. Hijabnya terbuka sampai dia tak senang duduk. Selepas dibawa berubat, barulah lega.
Sanctuary Kafe menemukan Ashrafi dan Aisha, mengikat mereka dalam ikatan perkahwinan. Aisha hanya main-main. Ashrafi hanya mahu menolong. Baginya, gadis itu hanyalah pembantu. Manis dengan sikap gila-gila, buat dia tersenyum dalam rahsia.

Kelam-kabut dan tunggang terbalik hidupnya. Pencarian dan perjalanan yang penuh dengan seribu rasa menduga rasa cinta yang baru terbit. Dalam hati yang mula memekar, ada rindu yang bersembunyi.

Aku baca buku ni sebab katanya, bakal diadaptasi. hahaha..heronya Meerqeen dan heroinnya pelakon baru kot. Tak kenal. InsyaAllah tayang tahun depan. So, kita pulun la baca sekarang.

Pertama, aku suka nama Ash dan Aish ni. Ashrafi dan Aisha. Rasa macam match made from heaven gitu.

Aish bekerja di 7E. Shift malam. Dan dia diganggu oleh 2 orang kutu rayau. Ash la lelaki berhoodie yang muncul untuk selamatkan Aish. Misteri la jugak sebab tak tahu kenapa setiap kali, pagi buta, time Aish dalam bahaya, Ash akan muncul.

Sehinggalah Aish berhenti kerja di 7E sebab risaukan keselamatannya, dan dia bekerja di kafe milik Ash, Sanctuary Cafe. Mulanya, Aish menumpang tidur di bilik rehat pekerja. Tapi bangunan sebelah kafe tu terbakar. So, dorang bimbang la keselamatan Aish. So, Ash ajak Aish kahwin.

Dorang ni suka sama suka, tapi tak terluah gitu. Sehinggalah Ash koma dan terlantar di hospital. Masa nilah, baru tahu kewujudan keluarga Ash yang selama ini dirahsiakan.

Dan watak Ash ni muncul sebagai roh, dan hanya Aisha yang nampak.

Ada la part part kelakar sebab dialognya sempoi. Aku terhibur bila ada part Jimi dan juga Assad, abang Ash. Assad hot bachelor in town weh. Rasa macam nak baca kisah Assad pulak.

sedap nama. ashrafi dan aisha. jadi lagi simple, ash dan aish.
aish bekerja di kedai 24 jam. ada yang sering muncul jadi penyelamat bila ada yang mengganggu.
ash lah. siapa lagi. kemudian, lepas dihalau dari rumah sewa bukan sebab tak bayar. tapi penyewa lain tu lebih suka bergelumang dengan maksiat. dia yang baik la kena halau. ash lagi sekali jadi penyelamat sebab anak tokey kedai 24 jam tu pulak buat hal.
suka dengan dialog yang simple dan naratif yang sangat 'hidup' dari penulis Maya Adira. jadi seronok nak baca sebab pembaca diheret masuk sekali menghadap perjalanan kisah mereka.
dan paling best bila ash kemalangan dan koma. ada masuk part kisah luar alam sket. aish boleh nampak ash. berborak macam biasa, dan ash ada bertukar personaliti. dari seorang yang beku kepada roh yang sangat peramah dan lovable.
semua manusia baik. tapi manusia yang ikhlas menabur kebaikan itu yang kadang payah hendak dijumpa. contoh macam ash. pekerja di kafe miliknya majoriti bermasalah. masalah bukan bermakna tak boleh selesai. cara yang membezakan semuanya.
ikatan suami isteri juga bukan mainan. boleh berjanji dan ada syarat yang ditetapkan. tak kiralah apa jua tujuan. perkahwinan bukan permainan.
kata hati pun perlu tegas untuk nyatakan apa yang patut sah jadi hak milik. bukan setakat rasa bersalah dan menyerah.
cinta.
sentiasa ada.
rebut dengan aman dalam jiwa.

Nama dekat2 ash dan aish…mmg dari awal nampak gandingan ash dan aish memang sepadan. Aish seorg gadis yang polos. Ash pula seorang perahsia sampaikan Semua pekerja Ash tak tahu latar belakang keluarga ash sehinggalah berlakunya kemalangan yang mengakibatkan ash koma baru mereka tahu siapa sebenarnya ash. Walaupun aish seorang anak yatim tapi ramai yang sayang padanya…
Keluarga Ash pulak nampak happening dengan kehadiran along dan adik dengan karekter mereka tersendiri…adik paling sempoi boleh berjawab depan ummi dengan ex girlfriend Ash.
Cerita yang santai dan konflik yang tidak berat.

Kisah Ash dan Aish yg ditakdirkan bertemu dgn tidak sengaja akhirnya membawa kpd perkahwinan kerana perasaan simpati dan ingin melindungi Aish. Ash yg penuh misteri dan hidupnya gemar membantu org yg ada masalah.
Akhirnya kisah hidup Ash terbuka sedikit demi sedikit selepas Ash kemalangan dan koma. Aish yg terbuka hijabnya sering bertemu dgn Ash. Pelbagai kejadian lucu yg berlaku semasa itu. Itu belum lg watak Assad yg jenis kalau bercakap tu selamba badak. Mmg harmoni sungguh keluarga Ash ni sebenarnya. Cuma sebab perselisihan, membawa kpd rajuk Ash yg berpanjangan.
Novel ADA ni adalah sebuah novel yg ringan. Langau pon sekadar main cak2. Jadi kita boleh concentrate dgn cinta Ash dan Aish. Cuma part koma Ash tu saya rasa lama sgt. Smpi selalu je ckp sorg2, bila part ni nak habis? Ya, bila part koma tu terlalu lama, saya pula rasa bosan!
Tp rasanya berbaloi juga Ash tu koma. Disebabkan koma itulah Ash berazam utk menjadi ank dan suami yg lebih baik!
Ps: Ingatkan bila nampak roh ni cerita adalah juga seram2 kan.. Tp rupanya jangkaanku silap semata😅

First of all, to the editors, please go through the book again, please. The copy of my book is the 3rd edition / printing, and I'm surprised that the editor didn't go through and make changes to the book as there are quite a number of typos, kesalahan tatabahasa (kata ganda, salah penggunaan kata, etc), wrong words placement, wrong punctuation placement, paragraphing, as well as blank pages. I'm honestly disappointed and I actually had to put down the book multiple times due to this.
The story entertaining, although the story did felt extremely slow by first half that I almost dropped it off, not only because of that, there are a lot of other external factors as well, and it's going to be a long rant.
First foremost, the story is about this lovable and hardworking girl, Aish that came across terrifying accidents, then she was saved and soon hired by a shining knight an armour, Ash. Due to her circumstances, he proposed to her, they got married, then Ash got into an accident, she could see his spirit, and they was able to talk more in that situation. The idea behind this is quite interesting I would say, but the execution of the storyline feels a bit of a let down for me. Too much running away and getting upset, that I don't really feel connected with their relationship? I couldn't put my finger on it, but I wished there's something more?
I really enjoyed the idea behind Sanctuary Café, and I really do love every single scenes that happened at the cafe. The relationship between the employees was absolutely lovely, their honesty touched me greatly. Aish care of them, and their acceptance of her is really beautiful to see. On top of that, I really appreciate the realistic scenarios of café operations being incorporated in the story, it was a really nice touch! I was a bit expectant on how the rest of the employees got to work at the café, since Aish and Eddy was said to be 'saved' by Ash initially, wished it was told in depth or a backstory of it, since everyone at the café did left such a great impression on me.
The premise and the idea of this kind of 'coma and spirit' theme isn't new, and I was actually excited when I head of the book. I was expecting to see something more intimate, something that would improve their relationship, something that would be a drive to open up their heart and be honest with one another, or even finally revealing each other's background stories and secrets honestly, just a heart to heart talk between them. But I've got is something quite different. They did talk a bit here and there, have thoughts about one another, but they never really had much of in depth conversation with one another. I was expecting maybe Aish will finally opened up her heart and listened to Ash's wish to meet his family, well, nothing really happened, up until the climax of the story itself.
Her first meet up and meeting with Ash's spirit was so bersahaja and I found it a bit out of character for Aish due to how caring she actually is, the Aish we knew before is a person that would ask and care for that someone if they're sick or ill. I was taken aback that she didn't asked him what happened during their early meetings, nor whether he felt okay in his spirit form the very least. Yes she's surprised, but I felt like there's something missing on the plot, and it felt like she isn't the Aish we knew before. The same bersahaja reaction when Ash came back after having minor cardiac arrest, yes Ash asked her if she's worried, but again, she never ask him how he's doing or how he's feeling.
Rather than worrying about his condition, instead, what makes me kinda dislike the story from that point on, how she suddenly continuously felt annoyed all of the time towards Ash, they banter and joke around way too much throughout the coma, and she even came up with an absolutely random nickname (mamat senget), which I myself am not sure what she meant by that when referring to Ash's new behaviour? Despite that, he reaction towards the entire situation felt very less genuine, as if how she broke down after hearing the news, and her thoughts on how Ash is going to leave her like the rest of her family never existed before.
While the story is still as interesting, and Ash is showing another part of him other people doesn't know of before, Aish's 'dead' jokes and angry remarks did left me with a bad taste. On top of that, I found it amusing how she became angry when other people didn't take Ash's state of coma seriously, yet she's doing the exact same thing like the rest of those people. Oh, not only Aish make some similar type of dead joke, even Ash's family did as well, it was so questionable to me.
The hijab mata reveal during the story felt abrupt to be honest. If it weren't for the blurb, it probably is a plot that I think came out from nowhere as it was never mentioned or touched on before. I wish it was told during the pecah masuk part, and maybe on her inner monologue should've said, 'she felt something is around, but it's not what she has went through before when her hijab mata terbuka, she's sure something off from that was something non-mystical' then she checked the room and continue on with the plot. Because during at that time, i really thought she's going to see mambang in the room (again, due to the information from the blurb), well, something different happened instead. And for some reason, by at the end, the hijab mata theme were simply dismissed and was never touched on again?
One question that have always been wandering in my mind since the beginning of the book, yet it was never answered is, why does Ash is always around the 7e area? He's always there to save the day, but it was never revealed why he's always there and come during the right time. I really thought he might be working at that time, or his office is right about the 7e, but no, not at all. It was an absolute let down that it was only a plot convenient through and through. Guess he's just a guardian angel in disguise to save the day.
While I do really love the author's style of writing, how attentive and genuine the advices and the dialogues were, the internal monologues were such a let down. When there were serious or sad moments, the author suddenly put in merapu, mengomel or joking monologues in between these moments, as a reader, the scene no longer feel heartfelt at all.
Not really a fan of the part where Ash suddenly forgot about Aish, he doesn't even bother look for her as soon as possible. He selfishly doesn't even confess to his family members because he wanted Aish to be with him, yet before that, he kept on asking Aish to confess to his family members on her own, what's up with that? What's even funnier is how none of the family members even bother to ask again about her despite how they're really sure that Aish is someone really important for Ash before. Also, it's amusing that no one from his family even went to manage Ash's accounts / bank cancellation, and wonder why it's has already been settled, like before that, they were 100% sure Ash doesn't have any friends.
Oh, and the entire plot with Ash's mother trying to marry off her son while he's in coma, I was so angry over it, and she doesn't even say anything towards Delila or ever think she's even wrong is so frustrating. It's so dumb.
Lastly, unless I've mistaken and got it wrong, but I believe there are couple plot inconsistency here and there, such as — the hospital scene with Aish and Delila, where the nurse told Ash's sister that Aish must've been the one that clean Ash up when she haven't even come in? And it was too quick, if we're thinking about application process untuk kad / dokumen hilang, Ash somehow is able to get all of his documents and cards back extremely soon? He sounded as if his wallet has always with him and he never been robbed, as is if his kad nikah have always been there? Or I'm simply getting confused over the timeline?
Nevertheless, I still had fun reading this, and it was a good effort at making such theme work.

One question that have always been wandering in my mind since the beginning of the book, yet it was never answered is, why does Ash is always around the 7e area? He's always there to save the day, but it was never revealed why he's always there and come during the right time. I really thought he might be working at that time, or his office is right about the 7e, but no, not at all. It was an absolute let down that it was only a plot convenient through and through. Guess he's just a guardian angel in disguise to save the day.
While I do really love the author's style of writing, how attentive and genuine the advices and the dialogues were, the internal monologues were such a let down. When there were serious or sad moments, the author suddenly put in merapu, mengomel or joking monologues in between these moments, as a reader, the scene no longer feel heartfelt at all.
Not really a fan of the part where Ash suddenly forgot about Aish, he doesn't even bother look for her as soon as possible. He selfishly doesn't even confess to his family members because he wanted Aish to be with him, yet before that, he kept on asking Aish to confess to his family members on her own, what's up with that? What's even funnier is how none of the family members even bother to ask again about her despite how they're really sure that Aish is someone really important for Ash before. Also, it's amusing that no one from his family even went to manage Ash's accounts / bank cancellation, and wonder why it's has already been settled, like before that, they were 100% sure Ash doesn't have any friends.
Oh, and the entire plot with Ash's mother trying to marry off her son while he's in coma, I was so angry over it, and she doesn't even say anything towards Delila or ever think she's even wrong is so frustrating. It's so dumb.
Lastly, unless I've mistaken and got it wrong, but I believe there are couple plot inconsistency here and there, such as — the hospital scene with Aish and Delila, where the nurse told Ash's sister that Aish must've been the one that clean Ash up when she haven't even come in? And it was too quick, if we're thinking about application process untuk kad / dokumen hilang, Ash somehow is able to get all of his documents and cards back extremely soon? He sounded as if his wallet has always with him and he never been robbed, as is if his kad nikah have always been there? Or I'm simply getting confused over the timeline?
Nevertheless, I still had fun reading this, and it was a good effort at making such theme work.

Heroin yatim piatu yg mmg alone and kerja part time kat 7e..jumpa si hero ni yg ntah muncul dr mane selalu jadi penyelamat.. hero offer heroin utk keje dgn dia..and sebab keadaan, hero ajak heroin kain…because it benefit each other.. heroin need tempat teduh..and hero nak org jaga makan minum die…
1day hero koma and only heroin blh nampak roh die.. and time tu terbongkar la hero ni ade family rupenye..bila dah berpisah mcm ni..baru la masing2 rase cinta..rindu..
Aq kureng sikit bila bab blh nampak roh and what not tu..it just not my forte sbb tu bintang kureng 1.. but jalan cerita atill best..still kelakor…cara diorg gurau laki bini..and watak2 sampingan mmg comel doh..

Ash... Kenapa perangai sengal2 ni??? Suka sangat mengusik Aisha. Aisha ni boleh tahan garang.
Disebabkan Ashrafi ni yang suka sangat menolong orang yg dlm kesusahan. Dia offer kerja di cafe pada Aisha. Then offer untuk berkahwin dengan Aisha tu pun sebagai salah satu pertolongan jugak tu. Hidup macam roomate je diorang berdua ni. Misteri sikit siapa si Ash ni. Tak pernah sebut siapa keluarga dia. Aisha pun takdelah sibuk nak tahu.
Then, Ash koma disebabkan kemalangan. Dari situ dapat tahu siapa sebenarnya Ash. Aish pulak boleh nampak roh Ash. Sikap Ash juga banyak berubah. Suka muncul tiba2 depan Aisha. Setiap kali tu la Aisha mesti terkejut. Suka mengusik, rajin senyum dan banyak cakap. Hubungan mereka makin rapat. Ash mula sedar dia tak sepatutnya layan Aish macam tu. Aish pulak rasa rendah diri sangat bila tahu siapa sebenarnya Ash.
Saya suka betul dialog dan naratif dalam cerita ni. Dekat je rasa. Selesa dan happy. Konflik pun okey. Si anak yang merajuk dengan ayahnya. Keluarga Ashrafi bukan lah tipikal orang kaya yang berlagak sombong tu. Family bonding mereka sangat baik.
Kisah si along, Assad tak ada ke????

Starting yang agak slow. Forgive me, maybe sebab saya baca buku cik reen & en ngok ngek tu dulu which is full of cabaran & dugaan and that book is kinda interesting and funny. Even this book is little cliche but still i do enjoy the book. Thank you 💜

The storyline is great. It really make me sobbing. I feel like, i am watching them instead of reading. I just could not stop. The character grow is fantastic. How can it be not. I mean the storyline is a bit predictable, but the writer manage to make it looks smooth. Overall, i love it so much!!!

Awal awal seronok baca tapi bila makin lama rasa bit bosan sikit penulisan ni, tak dapat menjiwai watak watak sangat. Penulisan romantik pun cringe.
