Another great retelling in the Sinners Fairytales universe. What I love about these books is that the stories, so far, have not been what you would expect from retellings. I like that these are new, creative and they just feel like references to the stories and the characters. There are little breadcrumbs throughout.

Like the first installment, this story captivated your attention the whole time and made you want to learn more and become more invested in the characters in this world. This retelling was dark, steamy and had a lot of drama, it was so good.

This was definitely darker than I thought it would be, in a good way. A darker twist that I really didn’t see coming. Even though it’s short, there is enough conflict and drama to keep you interested.

I am so excited about the Sinners Fairytales universe! Each author ties in one of the seven deadly sins with a different fairytale, giving them a *ahem* steamy twist.
Sloth is a Cinderella retelling. Ivy meets her Prince Charming, he proposes, she accepts, but instead of welcoming her fairytale wedding, things go south after awhile.
This story does contain dark themes. If any level of domestic violence triggers you, please take that into consideration before picking up this book. Overall, it was a quick, steamy read about a heroine growing in to herself, gaining confidence in herself, and female empowerment. The author does a great job showcasing the difference between domestic violence and bdsm, which I appreciated. Ivy learned what she needed and what she had been missing by the end of the book, and what passion in the bedroom with guys who really care for her and give attention to her really looks like!
Ready for the rest of the series!

I received this as an ARC reader for the shared world—so I’m psyched!

This is a contemporary retelling of Cinderella and it definitely hits all the marks.

As an author and reader, I was happy to see the trigger warnings and the British spelling warning (I haven’t seen that before and it’s so smart).

Ivy starts out downtrodden in true Cinders fashion, but her friend Leah is beyond supportive. I was happy to see a supportive bestie AND a supportive bestie SO.

The chance meeting of the guys at the gym was hysterical (something I totally could see myself doing). It made Ivy relatable and her struggle to disengage with a toxic relationship at home was very realistically portrayed.

The stalker coming back despite all efforts to curtail him was also spot-on (unfortunately), and her need to hide rang true.

I enjoyed the development of Ivy’s relationship with the guys and I was impressed with their handling of her entering into a BSDM relationship after being in an abusive one. Not everyone ensures true consent happens in that situation when they write it, and I appreciated that detail.

The spicy parts are hot, and the characters are well developed.

If you like fairy tale retelling with spice, you’ll enjoy this!

If you’ve ever wondered what life was like after Cinderella met her Prince Charming, Sloth is the book you’d been waiting for.

Ivy Cinders finds herself in a situation she hadn’t expected. When things escalate she has to make a decision for herself. Stay or go? The book deals with Domestic Violence and the mental and emotional turmoil that’s involved.

Ivy has to find herself again and make choices for herself. Meeting two guys at the gym opens up feelings and Ivy learns to trust again. The story you know is new again as it’s twisted with the deadly sin of sloth.

I felt empowered by Ivy and the choices she makes for herself in the end. This was a great story and retelling. Leah makes you laugh and the heat hits you in your toes!

Multi POV. Med burn. BDSM. DV.

Omg I loved it!
A.J Blackburn has done it again with this dark and twisted Cinderella story.
When Ivy finds herself with the life she never dreamed of, she knew it was time to get out but didn't know how.
When things take an even darker turn her supposed Prince charming and horrible stepsisters take it up a notch. It is all Ivy can hope that her knights in shining armour can save her from her own misery.

Holy heck, yes!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I love the characters, the plot and the sexy. 🤣 I really appreciated how this book showed the difference between DV and BDSM. Speaking of BDSM, phew, this was hot AF. Big thumbs up from me.
I can not wait to see what the rest have to offer. So far this series has been a big, hell yes, from me.

I have dying to start the Sinners Fairytales universe and let me tell you AJ did not disappoint. Sloth is the Cinderella retelling where Ivy meets Prince Charming and then thing start to go down hill after a while. I find Ivy very relatable watching her growth and the guys interactions with her making her feel comfortable and accepted. Ivy entering into BDSM after being in an abusive relationship. The author did a fantastic job in her writing being able to tell the difference in both situations. I loved all of the characters and let me tell you those spicy scenes are hot AF! Hold onto your Panties ladies!!! Definitely recommend especially if you love a spicy fairytale retelling!!! *Chefs Kiss

AJ Blackburn is an amazing writer! I loved this retelling for Cinderella! Lily Cinders was a great character and what a bonehead Darren was.. but her best friend Leah! She rocked and almost stole the whole book for me! Lolol! And August was a hoot! And Oliver and Joshua! Wowzer! Can we say smokin hot!🔥🔥🔥 AJ writes a sex scene so well! That I thought I was in the room...it was sexy and steamy but no icky gone to far parts...I was just so blown away by her style of writing. I loved it. The way she pulls you in and makes you feel apart of their story...so awesome. I hope that you pick up this book!!

I am loving the whole Siners Fairytales universe, AJ Blackburn you outdid yourself once again.

Sloth is a retelling of Cinderella, it introduces us to Ivy Cinders so-called life with a sleazy fiancé.

I loved meeting Oliver and Joshua but not only the guys but Leah is an amazing BFF.

I love the dark themes that get introduced to us in this story but let's not forget the sexy scenes ofcours.

Thank you AJ Blackburn for the great escape this book is.

AJ Blackburn all I can say is this book was freaking amazing. I loved the spin on the classic Cinderella story. Ivy was such an amazing character who was just going thru life versus living due to the relationship she was in with her fiancee Darren. Through a chance discovery she comes to realize she is missing out on living her life and the opportunity that awaits her with men who have just come into her life. I totally loved the steamy sex scenes and the way that BDSM was presented in the story. And can I say we all need a best friend like Ivy's.

This dark contemporary retelling of Cinderella is unique and spicy! It deals with domestic violence and has BDSM components. Merging the deadly sin of sloth and the classic fairytale brings a new story. Ivy is stuck in a relationship and convinces herself that things will change until something makes her see she has to be the one to change it. She ventures on a journey of self-discovery with the help of her best friend and two love interests. Steamy and captivating, this book will take you on a ride.

I loved this take on Cinderella. I highly recommend reading this next book in the Sinners Fairytale series. Ivy has 2 horrible stepsister that take bitch to a different level, a ex who is a douche. But don't worry she gets her hotties in the end and they are yummy.

I loved this OH SOOOO SEXY retelling of Cinderella!

Ivy is in a terribly soul-sucking and dead-end relationship with her sloth of a fiancé, Darren. Luckily, her best friend Leah, is able to convince her to have some fun and they head off to a club where 2 totally drool-worthy guys have their eyes locked on her. It’s not until days later after Darren wigs out yet again, that Ivy finds herself at The Godmother gym, and surprise, surprise, the guys from the club happen to be there as well! Oliver and Josh are exactly what she needs in her life and boy do they bring the sexiness along with them and Ivy can hardly believe her luck!! There’s some ensuing drama with Darren and of course a couple of evil step sisters to round everything out.

This was such a sexy, fast-paced, and fun read from AJ Blackburn and I can’t wait to read more of her books!

I received an Advanced Reader Copy for an honest and voluntary review

WOW 🤭 This is an amazing and steamy retelling of Cinderella ❤️‍🔥🔥🔥 AJ Blackburn did a fantastic job ♥️ I loved this book and definitely couldn’t put it down!! I think every woman would love to have an Oliver and Josh 😍 They teach Ivy the right way to treat a lady ♥️ This book definitely has some dark themes, one of them being Domestic Violence, so please proceed with that in mind!!
Poor Ivy thought she met the love of her life, and decided to marry him. Unfortunately she discovers this isn’t so!! Her life is dedicated to making her Sloth of a husband, Darren, happy, while also dealing with her terrible step sisters. Her only happiness is her friend, Leah ♥️
One night, Ivy decides she needs a break, much to the wrath of Darren. She goes to a club with Leah. It is there, she meets the hot and steamy, Oliver and Josh 😍🔥
After another one of Darren’s episodes, Ivy decides to go to The Godmother Gym. It is there, Ivy runs into her two knights in shining armor ♥️ When Ivy, Josh and Oliver get together…..It is steamy ❤️‍🔥🔥
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK 💙🌷

Sloth, by AJ Blackburn, is a most delicious retelling of the classic Cinderella story. The author does a great job introducing Ivy Cinders' crappy life, stuck with a good for nothing fiancé who is becoming more emotionally unstable. Finally unable to take it anymore, Ivy leaves and quickly finds out that the world has a lot more to offer than life with her ex. Enter Oliver and Joshua and suddenly Ivy's world is turned upside down. She is now free to experience everything they have to offer, and soon learns that what they want is beyond her wildest dreams.

The storyline is fast-paced and well written, filled with romance, light but hot BDSM, intrigue, subterfuge, and danger. The characters are well developed and engaging. Oliver and Joshua compliment each other well to form a perfect pair. Overall, if you like romance, drama and fairy tales this is one book not to be missed!

I absolutely loved this Sinner’s fairytale retelling of Cinderella. It was fantastic and so hot!

Ivy is stuck in a dead end relationship. Her fiancé is lazy and she’s had enough of her crappy life. A chance meeting with two sexy men at the gym gives Ivy the boost she needs to move on with her life. Oliver and James are alpha to the core and one look at Ivy has them saying “Ours.”

Gah, I loved Oliver and James. Their need to control Ivy was so HOT! I adored Leah as a BFF, everyone should have a friend who tells it like it is.

AJ Blackburn does an amazing job and if you like a fast pace MFM story with a ton of steaminess, then Sloth is your book.

I am loving these books so much! I have been on a 7 Deadly Sins kick recently so these books are coming at the right time.
Ivy Cinders is a strong woman on the inside but has settled in her life. She will take the guy she has been with for years just cause it easy and she doesn’t know how to push herself. It’s a good thing she has a best friend that gives her the push she needs!
Enter the sexy men who think the WORLD of Ivy. They treat her like the goddess she has always deserved to be.
I’m so ready for the next book in the series!!!

This is a dark and gritty version of Cinderella. I absolutely love Ivy. She’s in a funk of monotony and let’s the vicious cycle called toxic relationship continue. Oliver and Joshua are the perfect balance they bring the submissive out of her. These dominate hunks are sin worthy. I can’t wait to read more. I hope Zel gets a story because she seems to be a sassy badass. I can feel it. Such a great read. Well done.

Cinderella Levels Up 🔥
What happens when Prince Charming turns out to be a dud? You level up and trade him in for two hot AF KINGS that treat you like a QUEEN. You know, sometimes you don’t get the happily ever after you thought you wanted, you get something better. This was such a great read and the spice was delicious.

Check for trigger warnings!

I loved this retelling of Cinderella! Ivy needed to grow to develop confidence, but also learn to trust others. I liked Ivy, but truly enjoyed her best friend Leah. Her personality was amazing, she pushed Ivy to rebel, but was always there for her. This book is short with a lot of darkness and drama, keeping you engaged. It has a few steamy moments, the guys are so understanding of her. I recommend this book, especially if you like dark fairy tale retellings. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I love retellings and this one was awesome, its a short read, but a really unique take on the original Cinderella story. I love Ivy and the way she meets the guys at the gym is so relatable, because the clumsiness is reeeaaaalll. This story did not go where I thought it would and I loved it sooooo much. I'm so excited to see what the other authors do with their retellings.
