It’s almost St. Patrick’s Day, but . . . The gardener at an historic cemetery has come across strange words newly etched into a centuries-old gravestone. A real threat? Or just words to taunt the authorities? The police ask the Krewe for help. Because they are so close to D.C., and they can’t take chances. There are groups and individuals who will use any occasion or date to create havoc and mayhem. Jackson and Angela usually celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with their family, both having a wee bit of the Irish in their backgrounds. But this St. Patrick’s Day, they will be on surveillance. They will have some unexpected help through their son, Corby . . . And the arrival of a strange and unexpected visitor to the graveyard.

I like these Krewe shorts because I like Angela and Jackson so much. They are dedicated parents as well as agents and it just makes it nice to read about them and their blended family. All the characters are so interesting when they appear that you cannot help but want to interact with them. With these particular stories, they are always on their home turf and so you have familiar sites and sounds.
It's close to St. Patrick's Day, but things are never smooth as the holidays' approach. The gardener at a historic cemetery has come across strange words newly etched into a centuries-old gravestone. A real threat? Or just words to taunt? The Krewe is called in by the police to help. Jackson and Angelea generally spend St. Patrick's Day with family, both having a bit of the Irish in their backgrounds.
The story was a little slow but basically nice and wholesome as are most of these stories. Angela and Jackson are the perfect parents considering their occupation and the fact that they see ghosts as part of their job.
Sweet and short with a nice ending to make the day perfect.
Angela and Corby find writing on a tomb stone. The police take it as a threat and post people in the cemetery. But nothing happens during the night 🌙. When Angela and Corby come with donuts 🍩 and coffee ☕ in the morning Corby sees 👀 the ghost 👻. He follows the ghost 👻 to the mausoleum. Where they find a young lad 👦 that is distrusted. It turns out to be a happy St. Patrick's Day. I would recommend this novella and author to 👍 readers looking for a quick mystery read. 2023 👒😀☺🏡
Surprised it was so short. It seemed like the author was just beginning to develop the characters and setting the scene for the real story. More like a preview than a novel
My first thought was: “It’s terrorists from Northern Ireland.” Silly me!
This story starts out a bit ominously, when etched words found on a cemetery wall lead FBI analysts to declare a threat for St. Patrick’s Day. Of course, my first thought was: “Oh no! It’s terrorists from Northern Ireland.” Then I took a deep breath and shook my head (at my silly self).
Heather Graham would never write about the old or new IRA on a holiday. After all, this is one of her holiday short stories with Angela, Jackson, and their young son, Cody. Whew. I carried on reading a story featuring all three ghost-hunters and a ghost who wants to help a troubled living person. Yes, Graham sticks to formula, but it’s a fun, very short story.
Jackson and Angela have gone to help out on a case where strange words have been found etched on an old headstone in a historic graveyard.
I love Heather Graham's Krewe of Hunters series and this story is no exception. The book's well-written with wonderful characters and it pulled me in from the beginning. This is a short read featuring two of Heather's Krewe members but is a stand-alone story which I highly recommend.
This was a nice clean short story for St. Patrick’s Day. This was a supernatural tale set in a graveyard near a church on St. Patrick’s Day. It involved two FBI parents, their adopted son and an unrelated young teenage boy. The only reason that I didn’t give it 5 stars was because it was a little too short. In the kindle book version I read it didn’t even say what town or state the story was taking place in. I keep wondering about this.
I wondered how the story would work with St Patrick’s day, but Angela, Corby and Jackson have a case and figure it out in time! Great blend of history and paranormal with the current times. The family dynamic and team dichotomy is very present. Quick read and fun times while solving this 24 hour or 20 some page novella!
Strange wording is etched on a gravestone and mysterious sightings occur in a cemetery prior to St. Patrick’s Day. Detectives and spouses Jackson and Angela, along with the help of their son Corby, find more than they bargained for as they conduct an investigation in the cemetery.
Fast moving, packed with facts and very interesting!
Very cool read! Filled with some actual historical facts. Moves fast as it is less than 30 pages. No time for over embellishment or mukking about. Lol These short stories get in get to it and get you back out. They are the all around best little quick reads! Give them a try! I definitely recommend them!!!
Another great short story in the Krewe of Hunters series! It's getting close to St. Patrick's Day and a threat has been found on a tombstone. Is it a real threat or a joke? It's up to Angela and Jackson to find the truth!
Quick story, with St Patrick's ghost. Fresh etchings on a headstone, leave the local police calling in the Krewe of Hunters to investigate. Of course, it is the day before St Patrick's Day and no one is taking a chance that things might escalate.
A little Irish faith to help a hurt and lost soul. You ever wonder what is really out there or is everything black and white to you. Love how this short story has you think. My opinion only!
Very much enjoyed this story. My Grandma really loved St. Paddy's Day! Her nickname was Paddy. I'm enjoying all these short stories about the holidays. Heather Graham is a phenomenal author!!
I absolutely love Heather Graham's Krewe series. The more books I read in the series the more I want to read. Her story lines keep you guessing til the end.
