I seriously couldnt put this book down once i started it. My only criticism is i was left wanting more from Adriana (FMC) and the guys because this was so good
Baby kicks off with Adriana just having lost her mother and having no idea where shes going to live after the funeral. Until her old teacher - Alaric and his grumpy fellow teacher and housemate - Declan offer her a place to stay. Which brings plenty of flirtation, teasing and then some very steamy scenarios to follow. Adriana and Declan playing games of one-upmanship had me laughing. The Amazon order especially, lol. Yes theres an age gap between Adriana and the guys but honestly i didnt notice it whilst reading it. It didnt detract from the relationship between all of them. It was a genuinely cracking.
Now im wondering if Midnight will get her own book?? Im dying to find out about her and a certain trio

Baby by Lexi K. Roman is a MFM standalone age gap romance.

Lexi did a great job pulling me into the story. I was hooked and couldn't help but binge in one sitting. I really liked the relationship that bloomed between Adriana, Alaric, and Declan. Their chemistry was off the charts!
I would recommend this book if you like MFM romance, age gap romances, or forbidden romances.

Steamy but no real romance
Adriana, aka Adri aka Baby - has definitely lived a hard life. She finds herself just of age at 18 and now orphaned. No family, no real friends and in a few hours homeless.
What she doesn't expect is her former teacher (Ric) and current ughhh math teacher (Declan) to come swooping in and save the day while offering her a place to stay to get on her feet.
While attraction is obvious on both accounts, they are 15 years older and forbidden. Adri is reluctant to get under Declan's skin as payback for being so hard on her in class. When her powerplay backfires and she is now entertaining the idea of both men in her life as more than teachers, things start to take form.
She quickly finds herself a job, not wanting to mooch off of the them and finishing high school at the same time.
This book is steam to the max! The taboo of it all is definitely worth the read. However, I know it was a short story, but their was no real romance at all. It was all steam and insta-love. No "real" connections. I felt like if the author did make it a full novel, that point could have come across better. The confrontation at the end was also a little weird how the Uncle owed them money, but they just let him go....
I did enjoy this story, I just think it could have been better. For what it was - short story, insta-love, steaminess; it was good. Do not pass this up if your looking for any of those things. I definitely want a Mr. Declan in my life. lol

This book is ABSOLUTELY jam-packed with emotion, drama, and hot as he** sex!!!
Adriana has been through so much in her short 18 years and my heart completely broke for everything she’s had to deal with. The author does a phenomenal job at detailing everything, especially Adri’s past history, so I never felt like I was missing anything or had questions.
Things start to look up for her when a former teacher swoops in to save her from homelessness after her mom’s funeral, and it sure doesn’t hurt that Alaric’s sex on a stick and as sweet as they come! The only possible hiccup is that his roommate, Declan, is a current teacher that Adri absolutely loathes…although he is enticingly sexy!!! Well, the loathing sure doesn’t last too long before things heat up to about 1000!!! And let me tell you, I couldn’t get ENOUGH of the games and teasing that went on between Adri and Declan…..HOT DAMN!!!! Everything that transpires between Alaric, Adri, and Declan is tantalizingly steamy and sweetly passionate.
There is some unexpected drama towards the end that only serves to bring our 3 characters closer together and opens the door for a possible spin off with other characters (which for anyone that reads Baby is going to be crossing their fingers and toes for!!!).
I LOVED this book and will be re-reading it multiple times while I wait for more steaminess from Lexi K. Roman.

This book is just smut under the guise of having a plot.
This book doesn't actually discuss grief in the way it tries to trick readers it does initially.
This book doesn't explore taboo relationships. This book doesn't explore a young woman coming into her own.
No. All this book explores is a girl having sex with two older men.
I find it both unrealistic and unsettling that there is absolutely ZERO discussion between Declan and Adri about what's happening between them considering he's her math teacher. They don't seem to be worried about that aspect at all.
As usual, I'm also annoyed that our FMC is in high school at all. She could easily have been a few years older, in college, and the same "story" could have worked. Her mom dies and she is kicked out of their apartment. She has no money and needs a place to stay, Alaric overhears and has her live with them. Declan is one of her professors. It's literally the same thing that happened here, except at least it wouldn't be so fucking gross. I'm tired of characters in books that are heavily erotic being made to be in high school for no reason.
Strange to throw in the weird storyline of Declan's brother being a mob boss towards the end. Not necessary. Neither was adding her uncle, Maverick, into the book. These things don't help to create a story, they just exist uncomfortably.

OMG I devoured this book! It was amazing I LOVED it sooo much! This book is a short but definitely steamy MFM romance stand-alone! This book is written by the same author who wrote 𝐴 𝑇𝑜𝑢𝑐ℎ 𝑜𝑓 𝑉𝑖𝑜𝑙𝑒𝑡 under the name Kira Roman and I adored that book also!
I loved Adriana, she was an amazing and so strong! She’d just recently lost her mother and had found herself with no place to stay. In walks in a man from her past and her math teacher who invited her to stay with them and we begin to watch the story unfold! The story was fairly short but well written, I definitely would have liked more from the characters but the way the author wrote this book I don’t feel like anything major really needed to be added! This book is a really good short read and I loved every minute of it!
I loved the storyline, I do usually like my books to be a bit on the longer side, but I personally found this book really well written and I actually didn’t mind that it was short read! But.... I really do hope that the author writes stand-alone books about the other side characters we met in this book! Especially Midnight because OMG there is deffo a story that needs telling there and I need ALL the details on her lil one night stand!

Baby is the story of a young woman named Adriana who just lost her mother. No family to speak of and suddenly faced with homelessness, her former teacher extends an invitation to live in his house with his friend, a man who happens to be Adriana’s current teacher. The age-gap, somewhat forbidden nature drew me to this book.
Adri is not the meek and mild type though she crawls into herself a couple times but with good reason. This book was a good fast burn ménage but still gave good character development and pretty much drove home exactly why it’s called a smutty story. There was some drama and it helped move the story along. I felt it was maybe a bit too fast in some places. But it was meant to be a short and smexy story. Overall, I quite enjoyed it!
Here’s to hoping there’s a story on her friend Midnight.

I absolutely loved Baby. Baby is a short novel about Adrianna, a just turned 18 year old struggling with school, and dealing with the death of her mom. She’s kicked out of her apartment, and subsequently taken in by a former mentor and his best friend, Adrianna’s current teacher. Adri starts flirting, and ends up getting a waitress job at the strip club down the street. Things get steamy REAL fast!
Overall, this story is really good. Sensationalized, but that’s what fiction is. I enjoyed the fast burn, mostly light hearted background of this shorter story. The steamy scenes(and there were many) ranged from over the top flirting, to lots of hands on experiences, to full blown sauna. I even liked the bit of conflict at the end, and I hope that we see more of the side characters introduced in this book.

If you love your books quick and steamy, this baby is for you! This book is by Kira Roman only under another pen name, so if you are a fan of her RH books, you're sure to enjoy this short menage story. It touches on grief, the lure of the forbidden and the taboo in relationships with age gap and student/teacher dynamics, and a touch of enemies to lovers as well.
Because this book is on the short side, expect things to pick up relatively quickly but in some of the best ways. I'm sure many readers will enjoy the push and pull relationship between Adriana and Declan that forms in the way of teasing and payback as well as the caring daddy vibes from Alaric. Both together were a nice blend and perfect for Adriana. She's had a lot of heartache and struggle throughout her life and these guys were just what she needed.
I'm hoping to read Midnight's story next!

I think I just died and went to book heaven! Scuse me if I don’t want to come back to reality after this one! This book was everything I could want in one wrapped up glorious steamy package. If I could have picked a fantasy that I would have wanted for myself when I was that age I def would have wanted to live Adria’s life. Maybe not the parents aspect but oh myyyyyy. This book is STEAM and sweetness and forbidden taboo love and I just want to roll up in it. I loved it, can you tell? I want my own Alaric and Declan stat, is there a website I can order them from?? Maybe I’ll try TikTok 🤔🤣 In all seriousness I absolutely adored this book and I will be rereading on the regular Judy because I can!

When her 3rd grade teacher shows up at the funeral, he offers her a place to stay… she has no idea that he is also best friends and lives with her current math teacher that she can’t stand. She can’t deny how attracted she is to them.. but she can’t get attached. She’ll be leaving as soon as she graduates. But what happens when they can’t deny their attraction towards each other any longer?
This was a cute fast passed read. I love how well Declan and Alaric fit with Adriana. The spice scenes were 🔥 and I did not expect to see Alaric all alpha like in that one scene. So good. Oh and the fact that Alaric is daddy 😮💨😮💨

This book was a first for me by this author. There weren't any annoying grammer or punctuation errors to distract from the story which was awesome. It was a great story and the sex scenes were hot. I'm not keen on the whole "Daddy" kink, but you can't detract from the rating just because a story contains something that isn't your kink. My issue was with the resolution against the antagonist and the epilogue. Both just felt rushed and could've been fleshed out more. On the plus side, I'm hopeful that there's going to be or already is a story about Midnight. I would definitely recommend this story to anyone looking for a quick, hot read.

I'm in the minority on this one - this book did not resonate with me. Baby, aka Adriana, a senior in HS, is looking at being homeless after her mother dies. Magically her old 3rd grade teacher shows up at the cemetery and invites her to stay with him and his roommate, her current math teacher. Ok, that stretches a bit of the believability but here we go. I get that Adri is grieving and looking to her future supporting herself, however, she has no qualms (and neither does her math teacher) sleeping together. Too cliched with her taking a job at a strip club and over angsty drama with her and Ric, the 3rd grade teacher.

This was a steamy quick read that I could not put down u til I finished it! I absolutely loved Adri aka “baby” she knew what she wanted and was not afraid to take it. At the beginning of the e book she looses her mother and becomes and adult at the same time. With nowhere to go Ric and Declan step in and oh my are they yummy. Now if you are not ok with an age gap then you might not enjoy this but I thought it was beautifully executed. This book had a bit of mystery, some action , and of course steamy scenes with very sexy men. I absolutely loved it!

She also shows how much strength she has to just keep going on. She doesn't want to be a mooch and wants to live her best life. It was ok
It had some good scenes but basically from the point of the kidnapping the story felt rushed and then you are bombarded with characters that will more than likely be in book two. Nothing wrong with that but honestly it just kind of felt like they were an after thought. Not to mention there wasn't even a single mention of the twin brother of one of the MC's until he is miraculously the one to save them. TBH the book just kind of feels unfinished and would have benefitted from maybe a couple extra scenes to kind of flesh out the ending and not make it feel so abrupt.

Hot and steamy with a splash of action and suspense!
I really enjoyed this steamy age gap stand-alone. Alaric is a sweet and caring man with a beautiful heart. Declan is more of the hot brooding a-hole, so I enjoyed seeing both relationships develop into more. In the beginning, I loved the way Adrianna teased and taunted Declan, pushing his buttons until he snapped and owned her. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a fast and steamy read with a tastefully done age gap! I’m hoping there might be a book for Midnight and her guys next!

Short, sweet and full of, um, action. The story was really fast but the author did give us a plot, actual action/conflict and a sweet ending.
The characters really balanced each other out, and I liked reading about them. I’m especially interested in some of the side characters, and I hope there is a spin off with Midnight. Especially a Midnight spin off.
Overall, this was a quick read with lots of steam and gave us a sweet HEA.

Ohhh!! I absolutely loved this book. One complaint I have for it is I wish there was more. After reading so many series I wished for a good standalone and now that I found it, I wish it was more than just one book.
I don’t think I know how to be fully happy with a book 😂
I’m not sure if there going to be a book for Midnight but I have my fingers crossed for it because that is another story I desperately need now.

I really enjoyed this book, it was on the shorter side but I still got to know the characters and fell in love with them. I loved Adri and her ability to preserve and look on the bright side of things even when life keeps trying to bring her down. I loved her relationship with the guys and their whole dynamic. Also I seriously can't wait to see what happens with Midnight and her potential love interests.

I need MORE!! I finished this book in one sitting and immediately pulled up the author to buy more books! This book was drama filled, extremely steamy and I love the bada** heroine! She’s not afraid to speak her mind.
Baby was a fantastic age gap romance that sucks you in and spits you out feeling like you are in a dream state! This book is quick dirty fun even when dealing with sensitive issues. I just need more of Adri, Alaric and Declan in my life!

Short, sexy and with enough of a storyline to keep me engaged!
A touch of sadness, a boat load of heat AND two alpha males 🥵🥵
I loved the forbidden element, the age gap and just the relationships they all have!
The only downside for me is the length, I could of carried on reading about Adriana, Declan and Alaric forever, it ended all too soon for my liking 😉
Also I'm now keeping everything crossed that we get to see Midnight's story in the near future 😍🤞🏻😍

Great read
This was such a gripping read. I had cried, laughed, awed, and oh no... all through out the book. It was well worth the read, some say that the uncle and brother later on in the story was random but I feel like it added to the plot and gave us a bit of drama in an otherwise plain and simple storyline.
Well done Lexi on an amazing book. I would love to read midnights story next.

So hot!!! Adriana has just lost her mom, and is struggling and adrift. Declan and Alaric are her teachers and you can see there’s some sexual tension. This is a fast burn ménage, and it’s sooo good. The plot is good, it’s a fast read, and she may have a stalker.

This book is a great quick read. I loved the ending and it is set up to have different characters have their story told which I love! I think that the story line could have been lengthened and I feel like the book could have been even more steamy. But I loved the characters and as a first book for this writer is was good. I will definitely be on the lookout for more of her works!

Super Steamy!
Adriana works so hard to keep her head above water after the loss of her mother. Adriana gets a bit of help from two very unexpected and incredibly smexy men to help her overcome the challenges that she faces. Super quick read that I could not put down but would recommend a towel be handy when reading.
