This one was pretty okay some steam little drama.
Aspen and Jasper have been pinning after one another for awhile now both not making any moves because of Jaspers job and Aspen going back and forth to visit her family. But I think it was more with Jaspers job.
He works on a Oil Rig so he's gone 2 to 3 weeks form the job and comes home. But he isnt wasting any time once he's back him and Aspen get straight into their relationship its down and dirty and love between them. But like I said he has to go back.
Only drama is the danger the oil place has around it. Beside that if you have a problem with long distance.
No ow/om drama, No cheating, tiny tiny drama,Slight secondary charas, sexy times, no virgins and no manwhore

The book basically started months into the relationship they just hadn’t had sex yet. There was no meeting. No interest. No attraction. No learning about each other OR us learning about them. Just a page or two in and it’s ‘we’re having sex when I get back from work’.

Wonderful!! This was a nice quick, short read. I absolutely love it.
Jasper meets Aspen when she moves and she opens Vintage Threads in Valentine, Texas. Jasper works on an oil rig and Aspen opens her own a clothing store. Jasper’s mom works at Aspen’s store. Jasper is waiting on Aspen at the bar, but she doesn’t show. When he’s leaving she finds him, she tells him she needs to head to Virginia her mom was admitted to the hospital. Jasper offers her a ride to the airport and they exchange phone numbers. Two weeks later Aspen arrives back in Texas, Ruthie, Jaspers mom kept her store running. Jasper returns to the oil rig and they call each other whenever they can. Aspen is home and getting ready to settle in for the night when there’s a knock on her door, Jasper is home on a break and wants to see her. The next twenty four hours they stay in bed together. He gets a call the next day he needs to go back to work. Aspen drives back into work, when Jasper heads back to the oil rig. Every night Jasper FaceTimes Aspen. Jasper ask her to come to his trailer when she has a few days off, it’s an hour long drive. Rowen, Payton and Berkley head to Texas to make a girls weekend with Aspen. She is trying to talk Berkley into moving and getting a job in town. Four weeks later, Japer is knocked on his ass, a new kid made a mistake. Hank, Jasper supervisor takes him to the nearest hospital, he has a concussion and broken collarbone. Hank calls Aspen, she closes her shop and gets Ruthie and herself on the road. Jasper doctor informs them all he’ll be on bedrest for six weeks. Aspen faints in the hospital, she gets blood work done and finds out she’s pregnant. They head home and stay at Aspen’s apartment with Berkley as a room mate. Jasper and Aspen head to look at homes for sale. They find one on a long winding country road. It needs some work but they both love it, and Jasper has a few weeks off to oversee the renovations. As they look around inside, he sits on the steps and she walks to him. He pulls out a ring and puts it on her finger, telling her he didn’t ask her to be his wife. Berkley makes her long road trip to Texas and helps out at the store. Jasper show up at the store and takes Aspen to her office. Two and a half years later, their son, Stone and Aspen are waiting for Jasper to come home. They’re outside sitting under the big oak tree in the front yard. Jasper arrives and he spends the afternoon pushing his wife and son on the swing. He tells her they’re maybe some changes at work happening soon. Six and a half years later, Stone is almost eight and Forrest is almost four. They have a date night with Ruthie watching their sons. Jasper is able to come home at night, sometimes it’s late. They spend the weekend in bed together. They both decided not to have anymore kids Aspen had her tubes tied. They both like the idea of their little family.

Aspen and Jasper have been interested in each other for a while but Jasper works as an oil rigger and feels he’s not good enough for his wildflower. Aspen doesn’t care what he does, but her hands are full with her clothing store and her traveling back home because her mothers sick. Needing a ride to the airport Aspen asks Jasper, that’s when he decides he’s done with thinking he’s not good enough, he will do anything to make their relationship work, Aspen is on the same page. Once committed to each other their relationship goes from zero to 100 pretty fast, lots of phone calls, and FaceTime calls, some leading to sexy times. When Jasper returns from the oil field they are hot and steamy together. But still very sweet with each other. Loved how accepting of his work schedule Aspen was, and he was mindful of her being a strong independent business woman. A little drama when Jasper is hurt, but Aspen helps him recover. They buy a house together and get married, epilogue two and a half years later with one son and six and a half years later with a second son.
I liked Aspen’s relationship with Jasper’s mom, who worked at her store, and her girl gang.

I liked this story. It was sweet, entertaining, and enjoyable. The characters were interesting and likable. This is a standalone story, but I do feel it is better if you read it after Serviced. Aspen had a wonderful group of people to lean on when needed. Jasper was se*y (ooh la la!) and definitely all-in when it came to Aspen. Aspen was on the same page as him and it was just a matter of time and coordinating schedules for them to get together. I was impressed with Aspen and the way she took Jasper's job in stride. I'm not sure I would have been able to do the same if I was in her shoes. Their happy ever after made me smile. I recommend reading this book.

Aspen and Jasper's story is one I have been waiting for. They were just so freaking perfect for each other. I love Tory Baker's stories. They always, always focus on the couple. Jasper works on an oil rig so he is away for two weeks or so at a time. He didn't want to start things with Aspen with her mom so sick. She has been having to travel to Virginia to be there for her parents. That is until he sees her one night and gives her a ride to the airport. They can't stand to any longer. We get to see their courtship and how they handle the time apart. Showing us their journey, the couple growing together is what makes Ms Baker's books so very special. 5 stars for Primed!

They know they belong to each other.. but the timing has never been right , between Aspen’s moms health and Jaspers very demanding job it just hasn’t happened.... until Jasper snaps and decides the waiting is over. Claiming her as his own is not easy with the hours he works but that won’t stop him until she’s his. They can’t keep their hands off each other, but will it be enough when the nights a long and lonely? Past characters make a few cameos and helps build up to the next book in the Getting Dirty series!

Jasper and Aspen are sweet together and even though he says she is not ready for him, it soon flies out the window when he sees her. The story stands alone but I feel like you need to read Serviced first to understand some of what is going on prior to Jasper and Aspen getting together. It does get explained but even having read Serviced, I still felt as though there were things missing when the story starts. Overall, I love that it doesn't drag and it moves quickly for them. There is no drama and the steam doesn't hurt.

Aspen and Jaspers story was one that was really fun to read and experience. You can easily see that these two are perfect for one another, but haven’t quite had the best circumstances or timing to act on it. I loved it when jasper pretty just said, “to hell with it” and went after what he’s been yearning for. This book will keep you engaged in the plot and characters and give you a heartfelt romance to enjoy

I am really loving this series! Blue-collar characters seem rare these days! Jasper works at an oil rig and Aspen owns a clothing boutique. Jasper knows Aspen is meant to be his but he has to wait until it's the right time since her mom is in the hospital. When they get together fireworks explode!

I loved Jasper and Aspens story.
Especially their slow-burn chemistry because he was away a lot as a rig worker. So when they finally got the chance to be together, I chewed up this story like there was no tomorrow!
I really felt for them both when they missed each other and the nervousness Aspen had since Jaspers job was dangerous but like all of these books, they don’t drag on with unnecessary drama and there’s always a HEA

Blue collar book #2 is with Aspen and Jasper, and let me tell you this book was hit! Jasper works on a oil rig which is pretty dangerous, Aspen Owens her own store that jasper mother works at, this book will clinch at your heart, Jasper is a hard worker, lives on a simple budget, and wants to take care of the people he love. I can’t believe wait for book 3 it’s about Aspen sister moving to Texas!

This was a very sweet romance. I love how humble Jasper is, and how totally sweet and devoted he is to Aspen. Aspen is adorable as she truly cares for Jasper and tries her best for him. Their chemistry is white hot explosive and super steamy hot. This novel was very entertaining and enjoyable to read as there was no crazy drama!

Aspen and Jasper were great together. Loved seeing her sisters in this story so I could follow along in their lives from other books. The chemistry between them was great and the tension in dealing with his job was so real. A little more background or history between the two of them in the beginning would fill out the story some. I LOVED these two! I remember Aspen from another series by this author and I'm so glad we received her story. I loved Jaspers obsession with her. I loved the struggle these two had to overcome with distance and Jasper working the shifts he does for his job. They had plenty of heat and I love that they never doubted each other. Great characters, great story - be sure to check it out.

I've read several books written by Tory Baker; she has done an excellent job at writing a good short story; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

About real life and juggling , terrific story
Wow what a great story, Jasper and Aspen finding love, getting married snd having two boys, I love Jaspers Mom, and loved Aspens cousins what a fantastic support group they had, with all the struggles they had, communication, respect are the key and they love each other, this story teaches you many things that real family support, respect and love will conquer all obstacles

This is a sexy hot book with oil rig alpha male Jasper and sweet Aspen. Jasper knows that he is not the kind of guy that deserves her but there is no way that it will stop him from taking what he wants and she is not resisting in anyway shape or form. Loved the characters and she needed him as much as he needed her.

An enjoyable book two in the Getting Dirty series! It is a well written, fast pace page-turner that is believable, witty, funny, engaging, and romantic. The characters you will love; their chemistry is intense and hot. Really enjoyable and exciting! Definitely recommended!

I love Jasper and Aspen's story!
Jasper has wanted Aspen for a while. After a while he finally is tired at not getting what he wants. These two are perfect for one another. He's rough around the edges and she's a lady that likes a beer every now and then 😊 this was such a great book. I loved the chemistry between the two! Tory Baker did a great job on Primed, the story had a strong plot that was written well. Jasper and Aspen were great together. The connection between them was strong, their chemistry was off the charts, it was sexy and sweet, they were made for each other. I enjoyed their journey.

I loved Primed by Tory Baker. How could you not fall for Jasper? He was sexy, strong and would do anything for the women in his life- his mom and Aspen. Jasper has watched Aspen for a long time and he was done waiting. She may deserve better than him in his opinion, but he was going to claim her once and for all. Luckily for him, Aspen was just as addicted as he was. Great story.

This short story is the second book in the Getting dirty series. It's the story about Aspen and Jasper, told in the dual, first person point of view, which is always a deal breaker for me.
