WOW! This was definitely the most intense volume I've read thus far in the series and definitely felt like I was reading an entirely different series because of how intense and action-packed it was! I mean, we've had intense and action-packed moments before, but this really felt like it was on a completely different level even though that's not a bad thing!
The biggest thing though…
I AM SO GLAD RYU WAS OKAY!!!
Oh my goodness, I could not read fast enough because I was so worried about him! If anything were to have happened to him, I would have been rioting!
My heart aches for him though because his fear and worry were so tangible!
And really this whole volume was PACKED with intensity! I don't think I felt myself relax until our gang was back together near the end despite how very brief it was, which I confess is the one thing I WAS bummed about.
However, I AM glad to see this arc wrapped up even though it was a very good one! I'm just ready for some fun and relaxing times with our gang, though it looks like it may be the Lilias crew, which is okay! Suzu never fails to make me laugh and appreciated the bonus stories we got at the end! Everyone is growing up and in no way do I feel ready! *cries*
After 3 years of putting off continuing this series after I read the first 4 volumes, it is surreal to know I am all caught up in English! VERY eager for the next volume and hope it will release sooner rather than later!
Another suspenseful arc finished! Komentar setelah maraton baca dari awal sampai chapter terbaru, aku sama sekali nggak ngerasa ceritanya dragging, kupikir semua arc punya peran penting masing-masing dan aku justru paling seneng liat semua tokohnya berprogress sama-sama, perjalanan mereka jadi berasa nyata dan nggak keburu-buru. Mungkin buat yang udah ngikutin dari lama nih agak capek nunggunya karena by nature manga ini publicationnya lambat banget apalagi kalau dibandingin sama shounen manga yg jadwal update chapternya tiap minggu. Sekarang aja kayaknya Akizuki-sensei rilis chapter baru di majalah LaLa tiap dua bulan sekali??? Terus denger-denger volume 26 keluarnya baru tahun depan, ya wajar sih kalau capek sama penantian panjang :") Tapi menurutku manga ini worth it ditunggu dan aku seneng aja kalau Sensei jadi punya cukup waktu untuk nulis, gambar, dan polishing cerita sesempurna mungkin. Paling nyenengin juga liat seberapa banyak art-nya improve sejak chapter awal-awal sampai sekarang, gila pokoknya AnS has the prettiest art than any shoujo manga ever😭👌
Penasaran habis ini ceritanya bakal lanjut ke mana. Aku bakal duduk manis menanti sampai zenyuki mnkh<3
This volume had a lot of action that I really liked. I’m so happy that we got to see some of my favorite characters at the end like Zen and Kiki and that Tsuruba and Tariga are still in the story as relevant characters instead of just disappearing.
I do feel that we are getting a few too many characters to keep track of at this point in the story. I like the twins and appreciate some of the Lilias crew, but I’d like to go back to the beginning characters, like her father and his group, and prince Raj Also, I REALLY want more progress with the romance side of the story. Can Zen please propose to Shirayuki? Or can Obi finally confess his feelings? Something! And please don’t let Kiki actually marry Hisame.

THIS MANGA SERIES IS THE BEST MANGA SERIES I HAVE EVER READ!! I CANNOT RECOMMEND IT ENOUGH!! THIS GEM OF A STORY CONTINUES TO KEEP ME ON THE EDGE OF MY SEAT, IMMERSED UNTIL THE END!! Yet another wonderful addition to the tale. I cannot wait for the next volume!! <3
As always, I love whenever a volume in this series has an extra helping of excitement! Maybe things wrapped up a little too quickly, but I definitely enjoyed it.
Ryo and Lady Kageya have been kidnapped by thugs who were hired to extort the perfume antidote. And this whole mess comes to a close, explaining everything.
Then everyone was saved and Shirayuki and Ryu can get back to their mission of spreading the Phostyrias.
I gave this volume a 5 star rating solely because Ryu is one of my favorite characters and I’m really glad we got some backstory to him, BUT I will say, I felt like the author forgot about the perfume arc and was like oh shit let’s go back to that. Again another storyline that felt random in the first place. I also felt the conclusion to the story was kinda rushed. Like Zen just showing up and the day is conveniently saved??
The perfume arc was my favorite! So good! I love that it kinda built off of the House of Bergat arc! I like Tsuruba and Tariga a lot, as well as lord Eisetsu a lot. Since we are moving to the Wirant side of Clarines, I am hoping these characters stay. Also, Ryu this volume filled me with a lot of emotions! Seeing how smart he was in that situation, as well as sad that he felt like he didn't do anything.

Summary: Shirayuki and company track Kageya and Ryu to their supposed whereabouts, but all they find is an empty house and signs of a scuffle. A conspicuous clue leads them to believe that Kageya has a secret greenhouse where she concocts the antidote to the menacing perfume, so that’s their next stop! It’s time to snuff out the unsettling aroma that has enthralled the northern lands!
(3.5) Once again I was able to skim this book. There is less artistic detail and the story seems rushed. The story and characters feel a bit shallow. I miss the main cast! :(
No reaction from either when a certain two characters see each other again?!
I can't wait until the main story line starts up again.
Watched the anime and knew that the story continued in the manga. It's light fluff. I know that the premise requires Shirayuki and Zen to be together but it would have been more interesting to me if along the way they realized that they are better as supportive friends and she ended up with Obi. Also, she just utters "Zen" way too often.
By this volume, I lost sight of why the gang was with these people. However, we might finally have some actual movement on the planting of the plants that light up. Can’t be bothered to remember anyone’s or anything’s name except for our main cast of characters…… ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I'm glad everyone's okay, and I'm still enjoying the series, but there are so many characters now I can barely keep track of what's happening to whom, 😵💫 and I miss the more slice of life style over all these political things. 🤷♀️
I am so sad that this is the last book while the author is on hiatus. I’m glad that I got answers to the last arc but still I need more of Zen and Shirayuki! Also the rest of the gang and their adventures. I really enjoyed this book as well and the journey that they all went on.

I had forgotten everything. Reading the summary I remembered something but I no longer associated the names. Picking up the thread again, I liked the story. They are nice even when they talk about Obi in his absence. Character design is always enjoyable.
Nice wrap up to this three ish volume arc. Enjoyed the action and mystery. It was also fun to see the character growth and the return of the twins from a previous story arc.
