It’s time for spring cleaning, but I’m not ready to toss Logan yet…
Out with the old, in with the new… a new me, that is. Now that Charlotte’s married, I, too, have decided to be mature. So Logan isn’t Austin--that’s okay. Better than okay. That’s what I’d wanted all along, someone just as kind and loving and--okay, smoking hot--as my roommate. But a kind, loving, smoking hot someone who likes me back.
Logan has basically been all my dreams come true.
If I could stop stressing about work for five whole minutes to appreciate it, I’m sure I would be really happy. Thank God I have Austin to keep me grounded. Literally, because he makes me garden with him now. And maybe it’s just the stress talking, but it kind of seems like he wants to put down roots too. How come no one told me maturity would be this complicated?
Episode five of six in the laugh-out-loud Dating Season series.

Our girl has decided to get over her crush on Austin because he loves Lucy with the shiny hair. No date naps in her future and a new housemate to find and along comes Logan and we all know drummers have great rhythm. But…….
Austin swiffers. He makes awesome sandwiches. And hold the front door, he makes salad sexy! Did I really just say that out loud? He makes sexy salad. I don’t know what is happening in my life anymore. I do love a juicy tomato. Austin really did make salad sexy. Hmmmmmmmm the cucumber.
Also can we talk about gnomes? Garden tat is de rigour and I embrace all of the tat. Buddha, metal flowers, jingly fish, sparkly balls but I draw the line at gnomes (ok just one mermaid gnome but she’s so cute). Austin allows the gnomes. WHY ARE YOU NOT AGREEING TO HAVE AUSTIN’S BABIES AND DRESS THEM LIKE LITTLE GARDEN GNOMES AND KEEP HIM FOREVER? #justsayin
Anyway, adventures with Chloe continues. Logan with the drumsticks is still rocking it. Austin can swiffer my floor whenever he wants to. I’m still laughing my socks off and I really want some original Chloe pottery. Perhaps she could make me a gnome.
Loving this series so much. What will Chloe do next? Can Austin be any more sexy? What food can he make sexy next? I wonder if he likes Yorkshire pudding. Can he teach my husband how to swiffer?
I can’t believe I forgot about Tattoo Jesus... I’m ashamed! Also this series is KILLING me. I’m just as torn as Chloe. It’s so hard to write a review without giving away anything but I can definitely tell you to read this series. It’s so funny, sweet, sexy and just all the things that makes romance great. These two authors have mastered this genre. I need Summer Lovin’ so badly. It’s rare to be so close to the finale and not know what I truly want to happen. I mean deep down, I think I know. Butttttt gah, idk. If you haven’t started this hilarious and wonderful journey yet, you need to. Seeing all the characters growth is so awe inspiring. You won’t want to miss a second of it.
It's spring time in Chloe's dating life and wow the flowers are blooming or what..Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee have divided my heart in two clear parts, just like Chloe. I laughed. I swooned. I wondered. I screamed at Chloe for supposedly bad decisions and patted her back for being reluctantly adult. I never imagined a lighthearted series like Dating Season will make me go through so much unnerving emotions!
When the series began, I was 200% sure about what I want for Chloe's dating life. For her best friend- roommate- super chef Austin to watch her dating other men and realize that he is actually in love with her. And now that Austin has broken up with his fiance and admits his feelings...I am not sure if that's what is best for Chloe. I probably never felt so close to any heroine. Because Chloe is so real. Sweet. Cute. Kind. Vulnerable. Always with questions and doubts and trying to figure out the puzzle called life. Like a lot of us. I mean, should she leave Logan just because Austin has feelings for her now? But should she leave Logan HANGING? You will totally feel the tension and the doubts perfectly. Logan and Austin both are such great guys! Seriously, can you choose between a sexy chef and a sexy rockstar? How do you choose? And I love how Chloe has evolved over her dating adventures. She is still emotional and dreamy and romantic and has emotional outbursts all the time. But now she is trying to think with BOTH head and heart.
Spring Fever by Laurelin Paige and Kayti McGee is deep emotions dipped in light flirty and witty fun!
Love triangles. I really don't like them. Still don't. But like Chloe, I'm not sure who I'd choose if it came down to Austin or Logan.
Austin is her fantasy but Logan has stepped up. Chloe gets the job of a lifetime handed to her on a silver platter. But it's in a different state. One man begs her to stay but the other tells her to chase her dreams.
I'm curious to see who she chooses, or if she decides to engage is some sort of polyamorous situation. 🤔
This series just keeps getting better and better! What is Chloe going to do? She has two decisions to make and they're not easy. Austin or Logan? Stay in Boulder or leave? I cannot wait for the next installment!! ~Andrea
"With only one book left to go I honestly don’t know how this series will end. I see the benefits in both Logan & Austin. Either would be perfect for Chloe so she has a hard decision to make. Then there’s a part of me that thinks maybe she won’t choose either of them? It’s still all up in the air for me unfortunately. What I do know is that the final book has a lot of questions to answer. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book. " ~Sharon
As this series continues I just love Chloe more and more. Sure, she can be a spicy disaster at times, but really she is just trying to figure out what to do with her life and that is something a lot of people can relate to.
I love Logan, but Austin is slowly starting to win me over more and more….I mean who else could forever change the way you look at salad!? Chloe has a great connection with Logan, but she also has tons of chemistry with Austin. Not to mention the fact that they are friends and know each other pretty well.
Now Chloe needs to make a big decision and I really can’t wait to see how everything ends for her.
If you’re looking for a laugh out loud, rom com this is one to check out!
Spring Fever (Dating Season #5) Written by: Laurelin Paige & Kayti McGee
I am not sure I will make it to book 6.
There were moments I when I couldn’t stop laughing, moments when I wanted to grab Chloe by the shoulders and shake her and moments when I was thankful I never named one of my daughters Chloe.
Just when you thought things might have settled down for Chloe, Austin and Lucy break up. Frankly this is not disastrous but it may throw Chloe a curve ball when it comes to her feelings for Logan and her attempted closure with Austin. Apparently only one of them got closure and it wasn’t Austin!
Honestly, the shenanigans this woman gets involved in are crazy, more things happen and there is nothing we can do but enjoy every single one. There were several spots where laughter was abound and it felt like it would be non-stop at one point. Never fear however, once a Dr. got involved both Charlotte and I breathed a bit easier.
Be prepared for all sorts of indoor and outdoor events!
We can only hope that when Chloe has to make a decision she makes the right one. (fingers crossed let it be the guy who makes salad) Not that I’m trying to sway Chloe, not at all!
There's no hiding it...this is one of my favorite rom-com series, EVER! Chloe returns in Spring Fever (Dating Season, #5) and is just as charming, confused, endearing, and laugh-out-loud funny as before. She got her closure and is over her roommate/crush, Austin, or is she?
With Austin newly single, her crush feelings are newly returning! What's a girl, already in "something" with another guy, Logan, supposed to do? She's surrounded by changes and is quickly becoming overwhelmed with decisions. She doesn't really want to adult, but she's doing it and going for broke. She's counting on her guru of everything, The Internet, to give her the answers she needs!
This series is not to be missed. It's smart, witty, steamy, funny, and completely captivating. You just want to reach out, hug these characters, and take them all to brunch! Chapter 7, Granny Mae, and Chapter 8, Dune...I CAN'T EVEN! That's all I'm saying!
This series has completely slayed me. I could read it and re-read it forever! I'm so excited for the next and last installment of this series, Summer Lovin (Dating Season #6). I have no idea what will happen, but I know it will be great! This is the feel-good series of the year! Don't miss it!
Things are definitely getting interesting. Chloe is finally in a relationship that she always wanted. Logan is what she has been searching for. But as soon as things start going in the right direction Austin breaks up with Lucy and makes it known to Chloe he wants to go on a date with her. How is it possible to like two guys at the same time? Just when she thought she was finally getting what she always wanted now she isn’t so sure. Chloe has come a long way since the first time we met her in the first book. I feel bad for her for what she is going through now. It is a tough decision to make, Logan or Austin. Just when she was letting Austin go so to speak things change. She also is scared to start anything now with Austin and risk their friendship. Along with making the decision of who to be with, Chloe must also make another very important decision. She has a lot of thinking to do with so much on the line. I am excited to see who she chooses and what she chooses as her decision to her other very important choice. Only time will tell. Cannot wait for the conclusion.
Chloe and Logan are together and are really making a go of having a real relationship. And, to Chloe's credit, she is all in. She is giving things with him a real chance.
The problem? Austin and the fact that Austin is now single.
So, what is Chloe to do? Well, if you have read the first 4 of these books (and if you haven't, why are you even reading this? Go read the books) then you know she is going to do a lot of the wrong things, and a lot of the right things, and even some of both of those...by accident.
This book has not only a lot of charm and a lot of heart, but we see a lot of growth from Chloe who while not immature at the beginning of the series, definitely had some work to do in order to really start making her own choices for herself...and at the end of this book, we don't have a resolution, but we have the most important of first steps for Chloe.
I enjoyed and recommend this title...and I can't wait for the next one!
Oh my gosh! What is Chloe going to do??? Logan or Austin they both have their good points. And then will she take her dream job in Santa Fe and leave Boulder? And what about Charlotte and Baby Charlotte, what will they do if Chloe leaves? And I totally knew that was going to happen with Lucy, but I won’t spoil what that is. This book was funny and witty and blow and Charlotte’s conversations were the best! I can’t wait to find out what happens next!
What a difference a year makes! Now Chloe is being pursued by TWO GUYS!!! Her business is getting a lot of orders, she is being offered her dream job….. and who knew that salads could be sensual?!!
But she is definitely torn…. Who will she choose? Both guys are perfect for her, but have different things to offer. And Charlotte has her say about the situation too. And there are a few surprises :-)
This is a great series, so catch up before it ends!
Another fun edition of Chloe’s dating life. This one is the best one yet!! Logan the rock star is amazing. And so is Austin. I’m perplexed for her. And now I have to wait a month for Summer Lovin. Not sure I can wait 😕 I can not wait for Chloe to finally get her HEA!
This series just keeps getting better and I am so desperate to find out who Chloe ends up with! Her relationships keep getting more complex and I love the emotional growth we are seeing. I can’t wait for the next instalment!
I'm not sure how I feel about this one. It just gets even more complicated now for Chloe and her heart. Austin dropped the ultimate bomb just when she found Logan, the perfect man for her to move on from her crush. Then a career opportunity that might change everything. I can't wait to read the next book to see what Chloe decides to do.
Gah…This book killed me. I feel like I’m Chloe and have a huge decision to make. This series is utterly amazing! I laughed out loud several times. I think I’ve said it in my other reviews, but I want Chloe as my best friend. I can’t wait for Summer Lovin. And I’m not sure who I’m rooting for, Austin or Logan. Read this witty, sexy series now!!
Just when you think you know how the story is going to flow, the authors throw us a curveball. I am loving this series! I just can't get enough of the Adventures of Chloe! This series is sexy, romantic, heart melting, and laugh out loud funny. I am really looking forward to Book 6, and I hope the authors do spin-offs on some of the characters.
This series just gets better and better as our madcap heroine grows into an even more beautiful, wise version of herself. Choosing yourself is sometimes the hardest thing to do - and the hardest story to tell well. Laurelin and Kayti have crafted a journey full of humor and love - sometimes the tough kind - and have snuck in some sweetly told life lessons along the way. This is the perfect, joyous read we all need after a long hard winter.
I just need to know- who will she choose? We'll have to wait and see.
This series is everything I imagined it to be and more. We are now into spring and Chloe's love life is more upside down than ever. She has one guy she's crazy for and he's ready to go all-in. She has her crush, who's now ready to go all-in. She's more confused and the craziness that ensues is in true Chloe fashion. Each book in this series gets better and better and I can't wait for the final book. Who will Chloe choose? Only time will tell.
Oh, no... WHYYYYYYY!? Why must you make these books so short!? I need closure, dammit! Yes, I'm yelling as I review because what in the ever-loving-fudgsicle?!
I love Chloe. Her brand of awkward is so relatable. Her boys are swoon-worthy – just in different ways.
I loved seeing Dune again! He is hilarious. Such a contradiction. But with everything she's ever wanted at her fingertips, will she choose her dream job or her dream guy?
I’m absolutely loving Chloe’s shenanigans throughout the Dating Season series.
This was the best and worst so far, best because finally Austin and worst because oh man….Logan!!!
Now not only is she torn between her men…let’s throw the dream job into the hat. Is poor Chloe ever going to get a break. Will anything ever be straightforward. I love her story and the dilemmas thrown her way. I have no idea where this will go, I can’t chose been between them, it’s killing me!!!!! I can’t wait for Summer Loving to get the finale.
I have been hooked on the misadventures of Chloes dating since the beginning and now we are at such a crossroads I wonder what will be around the corner and what will be be her next move
All I know is that Chloe has me on the edge of my seat and she has a tough decision to make. Spring Fever (Dating Season #5) is great, so are the laugh out loud antics and with each book, I fall more in love with Chloe and the secondary characters. Although Logan is my guy, Austin is growing on me. I’m definitely looking forward to reading Summer Lovin.
Words really cannot explain how much I love this series!
Chloe really has some deep thinking to do because Logan is so perfect for her, and everything she has been looking for. And as she has seemingly decided to finally get over her crush for Austin, is Logan the one? Will she end up choosing sexy chef Austin, or sexy rockstar Logan?
I also loved how in this episode we got to see Chloe evolve and grow even more as a person. And how we got to dive more into her work life.
As always with this series, this episode was hilarious. It was also sexy and such a fun read/listen. I’m now waiting on bated breath for the finale!
Chloe is really moving on with her life, has gotten closure on her one-time crush on Austin. Then Charlotte's wedding happens and things are upside down. Oh, she's still seeing Logan, hot, sweet Logan, but they haven't defined things, and now Austin's acting, uh, weird. Chloe's got a few decisions to make about her life, and what's best, who's best, for her. All she knows for sure is that she actually has matured a lot since she started dating to get over Austin, so she's going to think long and hard before making those decisions. Only time will tell who she decides is the man for her, and what she wants to do with her life.
I love Chloe! She's grown a lot over the course of the series, and she's finally making decisions not based on impulse. I'm not sure who she'll choose, and won't say, but I will say that maybe the one I picked at the beginning of the series is perhaps not my choice any longer. Whoever Chloe does choose, I know he'll be the right one, because she's got her head (and heart) on straight now. Both guys are great guys and whoever loses I hope will get his own story - I'd read it in a heartbeat.

Spring Fever is full of decisions, decisions, decisions!! Lots of things happening that leave Chloe even more confused with what direction her life is taking her. I think that SF hits a more serious tone then the previous books have. Also, has Chloe really had the closure with Austin that she thinks?
Well, we were left in quite the cluster at the end of Winter Bloom when Austin announced to Chloe that he and Lucy had broken up. This leaves Chloe in an even bigger quandary over what direction her life will take. On the one hand, Logan is everything she wanted in a boyfriend, plus there was never any question that he wanted her. On the other hand, Austin has had years to make his move on Chloe and hasn’t. In fact, I never really liked the way he and Lucy flaunted their relationship in front of her. Not just that, but my heart is set on Logan now!! Even though I was cheering for Austin at first.
So, things get a little more confusing when Logan ask Chloe to move in with him. Now there is another decision for her to make!! In the interim, she’s still in the house with Austin and they start working on a garden together. Lots of time together and time to talk about things too. It was fun to see Austin get jealous of Logan when it came to cooking pancakes…you’ll laugh!! But even I have to admit that Austin made on hella hot garden salad!!
Then Austin does what he does best, confusing Chloe even more by asking her out on a date. It was sweet, romantic and he definitely pulled out all the stops but will this sway Chloe? It was also fun to see one of the character’s from earlier books, Dune!! Nice to see that although things in the dating world may not have worked out for them, they have still remained friends.
And just when you think it couldn’t get any more complicated another ember is thrown into the fire!! Bring on Summer Lovin, the suspense is driving me nuts.
"Spring Fever" picks up right where the previous installment, "Winter Bloom," left off, just after Chloe's roommate and former crush, Austin, announced that he had broken up with his girlfriend, Lucy. In the days that follow, Chloe does her best to be a good friend to Austin and help him through the breakup, but things get complicated when he finally admits his feelings for her. Austin's timing couldn't be worse: Chloe is finally happy in her new relationship with musician Logan, who recently invited her to move in with him. Besides, Chloe moved on from her feelings for Austin months ago...didn't she?
Just as the previous installments of this series have been, this story was laugh-out-loud funny. Chloe and her best friend, Charlotte, consistently crack me up. They just seem to get each other, quirks and all. I also love Chloe's continued use of romance novels as a guide for how to handle situations when she's not sure how to proceed. The fact that most of them are biker/MC romances just makes it even funnier. Finally, I enjoyed the continued evolution of the dynamic between Chloe and Austin. Unlike some of the other guys Chloe has dated, I actually like Logan, but Austin is the one who has been there for her all along. I can't help but root for her to choose him in the end.
I can't believe there's only one more episode left in this series! I highly recommend all of the episodes up to this point and can't wait to find out how Chloe's story ends.

Chloe continues her datings, things get more twisted and fun, who do you like for Chloe? A decision that is not going to be easy. Logan and Austin, and now the job. what a ride. This is series has entertained me immensely.
