Great book for new readers. Story is easy to follow, but requires comprehension. Wasn’t a fan of the story.

The Four Winds have stolen important gems from Mount Olympus. Athena and her friends must find them before the Four Winds realize the power they hold or just how vulnerable Zeus and Mount Olympus is in the absence of these gems. Athena's goddess girl friends are looking for the other 3 while Athena and her dog Oliver look for the black pearl.

This is an adventure quest that includes the mythology about how Athena created olives and how Athens got its name. The story felt like something out of Oz with Athena wandering into a land called No Name where everyone is an animated kitchen tool of some kind. An imaginative little quest with classic Greek myth elements that young readers should find fun and entertaining.
