After the HUGE disappointment that was Primal of Blood and Bone, I am still not sure if I want to read this one.
On one hand, I need to have the conclusion to Cas and Poppy's story, because it used to be one of my all-time favorite series. On the other hand, I am so pissed after wasting hours on the dumpster fire that was the 6th book, I feel like I need to respect myself and not waste any more money and time on this series...

Sadly, after the 4th book the serie became a repetitive. I read the previous arch with Sera and Nyktos as well, which was good to explain this arch. But I was ready for the serie to end, is just repeating itself all over again.
I will read the next book because I must, too curious of how it ends, but it could have been done sooner😓

I’m not sure if you read these Jennifer but I super hope you do!
I’ve spent the last 7 weeks reading this whole series && I’m so sad we don’t have a release date for this book- praying it’s before 5/31 🤞
I have so many questions & also a few requests lol
1. Please for the love of god to not let the fates favor be for poppy to break her bond with Cas.
2. Can we get 1000 page happily ever after? With more Kieran, Millie, Seraphena, Ires & Nyktos
3. Why in the world would Sera and Ash be upset with Cas wanting to see Poppy when Ash would literally react the same? (The last paragraph of the novella per the fates.) I don’t understand why Attes can’t just bring Cas to see her while she heals?
4. I hope in this book Keiran Cas & Poppy kiss & make up- literally! I miss & need the days of them sharing a space & cuddling together every night!
5. Let Keiran come into his powers & play a bigger role in getting rid of Kolis- which I hope for the love of god happens in the first couple of chapters! I’m sick of him.
I spent the last book completely devastated- which don’t get me wrong; I love that these characters can bring out such emotions. However I’d like to feel the warm & fuzzy for this next hoo rah!
I know hope you’re already done writing this book but on the off chance you’re not… these are my two cents!
Oh & what the heck did Cas do the Shea that he didn’t tell Poppy? When she was in stasis? && PLEASE do not let poppy be in stasis half the next books! That should end chapter 1!

So the last book I read was 4 and the little cupcake novella. I know from reviews book 5 is a recap for mmc pov. The reviews for 6 and 6.5 are bad and pretty destroys Cas character and put Kieran in the corner. I will read this one as with so much repetition I won’t feel I missed everything but want to know how it all ends.
The person who did the review of all the foreshadowing of the troupe is as spot on and how people missed that is beyond me. Do I think Kieran will have a separate love while also being included in the Cas and Poppy troupe yes these people are gods and they don’t really have normal human relationship so that is probably this wasn’t done as an outright mmf love story.

December 23, 20237 books ? Feels like stretch to me. Only first two books were good in this series rest was downhill. I lost interest after that. This writer needs to focus on her incomplete series and get this one done

April 28, 2024Ive .. I’ve only bought up to book bloody two in the series and I see this !!?? 7 !!? Oh for the love of - please do not tell me this is going to go up to 10 books .. these books are expensive on Amazon and I have bills to pay I can’t be buying these books every time a new one comes out .. I haven’t even read the books yet but not gonna lie seeing the series this long and finding out the 5th book is just the same story but from a different POV AND peoples thoughts on the series .. makes me just want to not really bother with the series .. I only feel like I have to now because I bought the two books a while back as a “treat” to myself .. I don’t need to treat myself this much if this is the length this series is going to be ..
