Dual virgins but I didn't like either characters. They waited years to get together and it was anti climatic. The heroine's reasons for pushing the H away were annoying, and the H came across as beta for staying in the friend zone for years.

Cute, short, and sweet.
Booker and Carrie have been friends ever since, and now that they're in their senior year in highschool. Booker wants to finally make Carrie his.
This is a short read and I honestly enjoyed it. I'm not a fan of friends-to-lovers but this worked out because they've been in love with each other just the same. Also, though it wasn't directly told, I think they're both v-card holders, which made this even more likeable for me. I don't like friends-to-lovers if they're going to see the dalliances of one another, even though they're so called "in love" with their best friend. Anyway, they got their HEA with an epilogue years later (married and with kids).
Overall, I had fun reading this and this is really good if readers wanted a quick read. ♥️

Very sweet indeed. It doesn't lack hot times either.
My favourite part is the male character's determination to prove his lady that her dreams and talents count. He goes to many lengths, even commiting a tiny mistake that makes for a wonderful scene of confrontation, to help and love her the only way le knows how. Unconditionally.
The grandparents are funny and adorable. The characters go from friends at high school to sweet hearts who support each other vehemently. I enjoyed all the scenes because they were cute, dynamic, and appealing.
There’s a bunch of good-natured friends, passion for art, young people with dreams who never forget their responsibilities, and a funny take on strippers. Don't miss this 😆

Disfruto con la mayoría de los héroes devotos de E. G y... adoré a Booker! Él era un alfa posesivo pero tan lindo con Carrie. Él estaba seguro de lo que quería para su futuro y que hiciera su misión en la vida hacer feliz a Carrie y que siguiera sus sueños fue lindo.
En este libro queda claro el tema de las multi-mencionadas strippers y la verdad, no pude más que reírme incrédula cuando leí lo que ellos realmente hacían con las chicas.
La historia me gustó y el epílogo solo me deja con ganas de leer más de la serie!

Wow!😍
This book was amazing! It was cute childhood best friends to hot lovers all rolled into one happily ever after. We got to see some insight into some questionable incidents from Booker’s friend Colt’s book & it cleared up so much. I’m so happy that things were explained more in this story, and we got such an amazing blooming romance between Carrie & Booker! They were both obsessed with each other and I loved all the cute couple stuff we got from their characters. Don’t let the fact that they were the cutest couple fool you though, things got hot and it was so good! I’m highly anticipating more in this series now!

This was a very sweet story, about two friends who have loved each other for years but have been too afraid to express their love for one another. There was pushing away by the heroine and her reasons for doing so were a bit weak, IMO
Howver, if you want a quick, cute read without a lot of angst or complications, then this is a good one.

Los protagonistas son Booker y Carrie, se conocen desde niños, son los únicos para cada uno, es un instalove lento, porque se la pasan siendo amigos, hasta que de repente se aman.
Me gustó como se desarrollo la amistad, el amor fue muy de golpe, aunque se esperaba desde la página uno.
Booker es un muy buen amigo, que está siempre ayudando a Carrie con lo que puede.

Booker & Carrie were adorable.
This was a really good story. I was wondering how the author was going to make a series when the 1st book made the whole team sound really bad with the strippers and nothing but parties and hooking up in locker rooms etc... The fact that it was Bookers dad who was hiring strippers to do "anything" with all these underage boys is still irredeemable to me, I'm not buying his being a good guy even after this story. Bookers mom seemed amazing though, don't know how she had such a sleazy husband. I really loved how she stood up for Carrie and was a genuinely good person. It did seem like the author was going really hard for the strippers though?? It was getting quite odd. The initial explanation was needed so that we would see Booker as a decent guy and could love him for Carrie, that was done well & could've been left at that. The continuous bringing up of the strippers after that, trying too hard to make them seem like paragons of virtue or something was a bit too much lol. They're grown getting naked and doing whatever with a bunch of young highschool boys...reverse the roles, it's not ok. And the concern over still hiring them so that they could make money was ridiculous, if anyone was that concerned his dad was in more than a position to find them great jobs with dental plans or even send them to college. I really hope this isn't a foreshadowing of how any more stories are going to be. They're all grown and moving on now, so hopefully that mess can just be left behind as something stupid they did as teenage boys.
The actual story of Booker and Carrie was really great, and the loyalty/friendships within the team was a good to see continue from the 1st story. Overall, I would recommend.

Cute little love story, no OW drama, just two ppl pining for each other. in almost all books, it's always like that, the angst of getting together and it fizzles out once they're on, similar to this one but i like that the MMC plans and gave her the life she deserves. Also loveable family characters!

We get another story in this group of crazy baseball players. Booker comes across differently in Colt's book, but we get to finally read how sweet he really is. Carrie is the love of his life, and the way he pushes to be more than friends is so cute. I loved this story, and his knuckle dragging Neanderthal ways as he says lol

Ohhhhh to be young again!!!!! Bff’s, and they kept that promise. Good thing Booker was mature for being a guy cause high school guys can make us think we are babysitting.. I loved that this couple didn’t play immature games, but they definitely played in the bedroom. The ending was super sweet
