There’s a sadistic monster inside Christopher Hayward that seeks out pain and thrives on it. Brooding over an old wound, he takes a business trip to clear his head, only to discover an intriguing exhibitionist stripping in a roadside club outside Charleston. Beautiful, young, and far too innocent for him, Christopher pushes beautiful Regan’s advances away, and he does it for her own good. An angel like her would be destroyed by a beast like him.
All Regan Duran has ever wanted to do is dance, and when a mysterious stranger called Christopher offers to help her get to her next audition in New York, she takes him up on it with minimal hesitation. The man is gorgeous, after all. But soon, things turn complicated, and despite him trying to warn her just how dangerous it would be to get close to him, their attraction only grows and grows.
When Christopher eventually cracks, inviting Regan into his secret world for one night only, it changes everything, just like he said it would, leaving neither of them with a way out that doesn’t cause the other pain.
I absolutely flew through this one, absolutely grateful for the opportunity to edit and get a first look at another one of these wonderful stories. To say I’m in love with the Club Stigmata world is a massive understatement, and I’m so, so sad that this is the last in the series. 😭
But Lou has DEFINITELY saved the best till last. Oh. My. Days.
How is she able to deliver such a hot as hell story with so much depth, reality, and heart? It’s a skill few can offer, but offering it up in spades is Lou’s speciality, and I am in awe of her talents.
Needless to say, Christopher didn’t disappoint. He was everything I wanted him to be and more, and Regan was the perfect blend of hard and soft that he needed her to be.
No spoilers from me. You know by now how I love people to go in blind. But trust me… this is not one you want to miss. And there’s an added bonus of some surprise characters along the way. Ones I absolutely squealed in delight to see.
This series is everything, and this book is the perfect way to finish it off. 🥹
OH MY DAYS, this was the Club Stigmata book that i needed and didn't even know it! Christopher tore me apart and put me back together again, just like he did with all his other ladies! Wow, i just want to wrap myself around this guy and tell him just how amazing he is! My heart broke for him when he ruly realised that his feeling towards someone else would never be returned, disappearing away on one his trips he could never imagine just how much would change by his return home. Regan is fantastic, shes open, honest, eager to learn and falls with a bang for Christopher but is unsure if she is truly what he wants. Ah this story seriously gave me ALL THE FEELS and left me with a happy heart after going full circle while reading. Sad these novellas are now over. Highly recommend reading them!
This powerful, dominant, beautiful man, so broken that he didn't even see any option for happiness in his life; no space for anything lasting, just chasing the highs that left him alone, until Regan.
This spunky, fiery, fun and brave little dot of a woman fills the cracks, and gives him something he didn't even realise he needed.
I adored this book, devoured it and did not want to leave this story behind!
What an incredible story to close this must-read series with. The Club Stigmata series is one of my favourite reads. I was devastated when I learned that You, Me and The Pain would be the last novella published in this series. However, this is Christopher’s story, and this is the one that I have been anticipating since meeting him in the very first book. This narrative has been exciting, enthralling and enlightening from start to finish. I had very high expectations going into this story and every single one of them has been met if not exceeded.
I always hoped that Christopher would find his woman. It would take someone very special to understand and meet his needs and I often feared that the way in which Christopher thought of himself would make my wish for him impossible to come true. He considers himself to be dark, broken and undeserving, and so it is imperative that the perfect woman for him would understand him and have the strength, courage and determination to show and make him understand that he is so much more. Will Regan be the one to do this? You will savour every moment of this narrative as you witness their journey and discover if she is the one to break down Christopher’s walls of steel.
You are going to love Christopher Hayward. I’ll hold my hand up and admit he has completely stolen my heart. All the characters have played an integral part in this storyline. I know I would never tire of being in the company of the Club Stigmata family, which is why I am so gutted that my time with them has come to an end. However, I absolutely love how Elle Luckett has brought the series to its conclusion.
Club Stigmata is so much more than a series about the BDSM lifestyle. Each of the narratives is as unique as the characters whose stories are being told. What I particularly love about this series is that the author touches on sides of a Dom/Sub relationship that I had never wholly considered before. Her explanations and reasonings are written with consideration and care, and I can see much research has been done before she puts pen to paper.
This series will forever be a favourite of mine. It is one that I highly recommend to you to read. I could go on and on sharing all the reasons why I adore it so much, but I won’t because I am wasting your time when you could be reading it and discovering this incredible world for yourself. Enjoy…. I know you will!!
Say it isn't over! What a series it has been. Such a rich world with amazing stories and characters. I've been waiting for Chrisopher for so long. Yearning quite frankly. Dare I say longing? With this being his book and reading his perspective, he is everything I knew he would be. Elle never once balked or diverted from who we knew he was from the previous books. Even when met Regan. There could be no one for him but her. All it took was a a look across a parking lot and they knew. True to form, the romance part of this series Elle writes so effortlessly. The more complex part of the BDSM lifestyle is written in a way that I always learn something new. It interests me why her characters are drawn to the club and need it in their lives. Elle explains the need Christopher has really well. As the reader I accepted it and didn't judge him. The way Regan reacts was very interesting and unexpected. It made me think... a lot! Admittidly I haven't read much in the romance with BDSM genre. In my opinion though, the Club Stigmata series has the perfect balance of both romance and play. It spicy AF and had me blushing! I can't wait to go back to the beginning of the series and read them all over again back to back. Highly recommend!
WOW! Where do I start to write a review about this book to do it the justice it deserves. I have loved this series from book one, talk about saving the best till last, this book was everything you wanted it to be and so much more, I couldn't put it down! I can imagine that this was the hardest book to write, the detail is amazing, and the story is perfect, I am so sad that it's the last in the series.
Christopher was the monster we knew him to be, but he was a lot more, you saw into his heart and soul and Regan was perfect for him, Sassy and wanting to know more about him and his lifestyle and wanting him regardless.
Usually, I will give a brief rundown of the book about now, but OH NO, not this book, you have to read it for yourself, feel it, put on your observer's wrist band and enter Club Stigmata.
If you have read any of Lou's books you know that they are beautifully written from the heart and the talent shines with every word written.
