So he dumps the h after 2 years, met someone else, and is getting freaking married, his sisters invites the dumpee to the wedding. Of course the wedding doesn’t happen, and voilà- the h is the love of his life. Still at the reception mind you.
I would kick his nut sack with Steele toed boots and and a chair to the face (preferably a metal one)

What a load of crap

"It’s you. It’s always been you."
This is the moment where it’s important to remind you that a book can mean different things for different people, and that’s OK. Just because I’m giving this one a 3.5 doesn’t mean I didn’t like it, or that it wouldn’t be a 5-star read for you, so don’t let my rating discourage you from reading it.
I like Natasha’s writing, and I really enjoyed the novella that precedes this (Mine to Kiss - which you should read, by the way), but the book just didn’t work for me, even though it had so many things I like, especially as second-chance and small-town romance. I’ve added spoilers below as to why.

"The man who every fairy tale is made of. The man who makes my stomach flutter. (...) The man who is my everything."
At the end of the novella, I disliked Travis, but not so much here. I can see his doubts and insecurities, and I can definitely see he’s in love with Harlow. Mostly, he knows he’s messed up, and he’ll do anything to take it back, so I can say I forgave him.
I enjoyed Harlow as well. My heart broke for her at the end of the novella but she rose above it and built her life instead of wallowing about being dumped. She’s her own woman, and I definitely appreciate that.

"My life in black and white is now littered with color, and I know it’s because of her."
Four years before, Travis broke up with Harlow. They’ve both moved on with their lives, but they weren’t really living, they were just going through the motions. However, Harlow did promise to be there on the most important day of his life, his wedding, but she thought she’d be the bride. Instead, he’s marrying someone else, and she gets invited to the wedding. A cruel twist of fate, or someone who’s trying to give them a second chance?

"Why is being with you so good?"
"Because you were made for me."

The moment they see each other, they know their love never went away. Travis’ wedding day is a disaster, and the wedding is off, but even if everything had gone smoothly, there’s not a doubt in my mind he wouldn’t have gone through with it. However, there’s a lot that needs to be worked out between them.

"For the first time in four years, I can feel my heart beating again."
They’re really sweet together – I especially liked the way she stands between his legs whenever he sits on a stool at the bar –, and they were hot as well. It’s like they need to be together to make up for all the time they wasted. I also loved that he needs to claim her publicly, and he needs to know everyone knows she’s his – again. – and that he’s not letting her go this time.
His sisters were amazing. In fact, their families were pretty great and gave me that small-town feel I love so much.

"Thank you," I say to her, kissing her lips. "For being mine."
What seeps through the pages is their love for each other, and the fact that they would never, and could never, be anyone else’s. They felt right.

“It’s you. It’s always been you.”

5 stars!

The first full-length book in Natasha Madison’s Southern Weddings series, this is a gorgeously emotional second-chance romance that is playful and sexy, with all the feels. I loved it!

Before you read this book, be sure to read the free novella Mine To Kiss, which is the beginning of Harlow and Travis’ story. Harlow is the daughter of Casey and Olivia from Southern Comfort, and she meets Travis at college where they are both studying to become veterinarians. They fall in mad love, but though they seemed destined to be together forever, it wasn’t to be.

It’s four years later when Harlow receives a wedding invitation in the mail for Travis’ upcoming wedding, and after a big ‘WTF?’ moment, she remembers the promise she made to Travis to be there for him on the happiest day of his life. At the time, she thought she’d be the one standing beside him, but she still plans to go, figuring it will give her closure if nothing else.

On the wedding day itself, things go from bad to worse for Travis when pretty much everything seems to go wrong. And then his world is rocked when Harlow enters the church. She was the girl who got away, and all it takes is one glance at her to know that he is making a horrible mistake. When, before walking down the aisle, the bride has an allergic reaction requiring a hospital visit and then promptly dumps him, all he feels is relief, and then the story really begins.

“What if I told you that I never should have let you go?”

Oh my God, Harlow and Travis together are MAGIC! It takes no time at all for them to find that easiness that always existed between them, and the chemistry and sense of for each other is beautifully emotional. I could feel everything between them as they reconnect, and the sexy time is out of this world hot. Holy hot damn, they are on fire together, and the emotion runs just as hot as Travis holds nothing back in winning back his girl.

“Letting you walk out of my life is the biggest regret of my whole life … Hands down, the worst day of my life. Hands down, the worst decision I ever made. Hands down, the biggest regret I’ve had.”

Travis stuffed up in the past. Big time. He knows it, Harlow knows it, and he’s on a mission to make up for the past and prove himself to Harlow again, and the man grovels like a champ! In scenes that had me madly swooning, he pours his heart out to her, and damn, I love a man who puts himself out there so honestly.

“This is everything.” I rub my thumb over her cheek, wiping the tear that is rolling down her cheek. “Seeing you again, it just … It made me see that there isn’t anyone out there for me but you.”

It’s honest and functional, and so easy for them to find their way back to each other. But they’re both older now, they have their own lives in different towns, and finding a way to move forward is going to be hard. They know that, but neither of them are prepared to let the other go, and watching them fight for their HEA is gorgeous!

I’m sitting here looking at her, talking to her, touching her, I know that there is going to be no one else for me. That she is it. She was always meant for me. We were always meant for each other.

I am a complete sucker for a second-chance-romance, and this is such a beautiful love story. Travis and Harlow have so much emotion between them, they hold nothing back in talking about their past and all that they are feeling in the present, and they move forward together functionally and honestly. There is minimal angst and drama, just a whole lot of swoon (and so, so much sex!), and I love these two together so much.

“I’m not letting you go this time.”

Their families are a big part of the story, and as much as I loved seeing Casey and Olivia, and all of the extended crew again, Travis’ family steal the show for me – particularly his three rowdy sisters, each of whom will get a book in this series. What a hilarious bunch! They tease and bicker, and have such a fun dynamic, and I’m so excited to continue on with the series and read more about them.

I absolutely loved this story. It’s beautifully swoony and romantic, and hit me right in the feels.

5 stars.

I had to stop more than once because of my stomach rolling. Hero and the heroine dated four years ago, he dumped her snd now he’s getting married to another woman. The heroine receives an invitation to his wedding and since she promised to be there for all his most important days she goes to his wedding. The hero gets dumped by his fiancee before the ceremony because she was in love with someone else, and spends his wedding night with the heroine.
The heroine is a sad pushover and she basically takes him back instantly.
His reasons to dump her were that he didn’t want long distance and he didn’t wasn’t her to give up her dreams and her family to follow him.
Utter bs.
He was getting married to another woman and he would have if she hadn’t jilted him.
I can’t care less if he was unhappy and he didn’t love ow.
I can’t care less if he sacrificed his happiness to allow her to follow her dreams and stay with her family.
To me he didn’t care enough about her.

Mine to Have: Southern Wedding Series by Natasha Madison is packed with all the feels!!

If you love a great second chance romance as much as I do, this book is definitely for you.

Madison is phenomenal at mixing in humor and depth, all at the same time.

And believe me, you’ll love Harlow and Travis.

Especially with the way this books opens, and the way Madison builds the storyline letting the truths unfold slowly.

It takes only a little while for both of these characters to realize they truly still have feelings for each other.

But in the mix is the truth of why things went so wrong before.

Madison reminds us all that communication is key, and that love prevails. No matter how much time has passed.

Meh.

Tried to like it but all I kept thinking about was the heroine just wasn’t worth the effort. I have to say though, the hero talks a good game…but at the end of the day, she wasn’t worth the effort of a long distance relationship. She, of course, turns up to his wedding that doesn’t end up happening, so again, no effort made by him to get her back. Just circumstance. And then he figured why not settle down with the heroine since he knows she’ll take him back in a heartbeat 🙄😆

Made their so-called epic romance fall flat.

Not only is the cover of Mine To Have (Southern Wedding #1) absolutely stunning and beautiful, but so is this book. Travis Baker and Harlow Barnes are such a swoon worthy and lovable couple. What a refreshing way to start the spin off to the Southern Series.

Travis and Harlow were each other’s first loves and I had high hopes for them when they initially met in veterinarian school. However, Travis makes an immature and jerk move by ending the relationship. I felt so bad for Harlow as she was devastated. Years later both of them have moved on until Harlow gets an invitation to….Travis’s wedding. I liked this plot twist which I was immediately invested in as well as the intriguing storyline. As soon as Harlow opened the invitation, I knew Natasha Madison was going to give me a fantastic book and she certainly didn’t disappoint me. Fate has a way of bringing meant to be couples together and I couldn’t have been happier with this.

I absolutely adore the second chance romance element of this book. It’s obvious that the chemistry and sexual aspect of Travis and Harlow’s relationship never died. They are 100% fire and they have scorching and jealous worthy sex. Also, the Baker’s family dynamics and comedic banter is hysterical and the sisters definitely give something to look forward to. Travis and Harlow are everything!

3 Travis and Harlow Stars

SPOILERS AHEAD.

This picks up four years on from the end of the novella Mine To Kiss,
Harlow and Travis have gone their separate ways after dating through College and they have had no contact since they broke up. Each of them have their own Veterinarian Practices and despite professional success , neither are really happy. Harlow is going about her business when she receives a wedding invite in the post to Travis's wedding. And here is where I began to struggle a bit with this. Travis dumped Harlow in college because he didn't want to make her choose between being with her family and starting a practice or being with him. Travis made assumptions. Then Travis was going to GET MARRIED TO SOMEONE ELSE. Huh. He makes the point that he never actually proposed and they never lived together but he definitely was going to marry Jennifer , the intended Bride. The wedding day disasters were entertaining to read. If ever there were signs that the wedding shouldn't happen , they were happening by the bucketload on the day of the nuptials.

I think what I couldn't get past was that had Jennifer not broken it off on the wedding morning , I'm pretty sure he would have married her anyway. To be fair, later in the book Travis says he wouldn't have, but for the bulk of the novel I was not convinced. Harlow walks into the wedding and old feelings come rushing to the surface.

There is a lot of sex in this book. A LOT. (Also in the novella). Now, I enjoy reading the hot shenanigans and intensely passionate scenes as much as the next romance reader but I must confess to skimming through a couple of the sexy scenes towards the end of the book. I get that Travis and Harlow have incredible sex at least three times a night (or day) anywhere and everywhere but it began to overwhelm the story a little bit I thought.

The relationships between the H/h and their siblings and friends were so well written and I loved the dynamics, chat and camaraderie that the book conveyed - it was done so effectively and was funny and heartwarming in equal measure. The pace of the story was good and the writing flowed well.

Ultimately I was convinced that Travis and Harlow were soul mates , fated to be together at some point but the whole reason for their initial break up felt a bit flimsy and I didn't like that Jennifer broke the wedding off and not Travis.

It was an enjoyable , sexy , emotional read that is tied to other books and series' by the author but works fine as a standalone. Whilst I would not re read Mine To Have, I am definitely going to try Travis's sister, Shelby's book Mine To Hold next. The synopsis looks fab.

Finally - I am totally in love with the frock the cover model wears. Stunning.

HEA? Yes - Two gorgeous epilogues.
Cheating? No
I listened on audiobook (7 hrs 56 mins) and read the ebook (Not on KU currently). Excellent 5 star narration by Savannah Peachwood and Sean Crisden (who is a firm favourite of mine).

Sorry, I can't finish this. I got to 25% and just thought 'if she hadn't had an allergic reaction...'. He would've gone ahead and married her.

Harlow? Who knows.

Actually, I didn't like the tone of this one... at all. I skimmed through the prequel novella so I may have missed why he broke up with Harlow in the first place. This just didn't make sense to me. So... DNF... soz.

I started reading this and couldn’t put it down to the point that once it ended the story and characters stuck with me so much I started reading it again. Harlow is this beautiful, strong willed, and hard working woman inside and out. She receives an invitation to her ex boyfriend’s wedding and this hurts her heart so much because no matter what she thinks she has never got over him, but he was once the most important person in her life and she made him a promise that she intended to keep. The promise was to be by his side on his happiest day of his life and even though this shatters her soul, to Harlow a promise is a promise. This isn’t what you are thinking she doesn’t go to ruin, stop, or end this ceremony from happening she just wants to see his happiness and be there for him. If there ever was a wedding that was doomed from the start it would definitely be Travis’. Travis is basically going through the motions and from the beginning it seems his heart hasn’t been in not only the wedding but this relationship. Everything that happens to this wedding is hilarious because so much goes wrong, but it all is serendipitous. When two souls are meant to be fate has them written in the stars, yet no matter how much their souls are destined to be sometimes the lives they have built in between those years apart are hard to sync up. Travis and Harlow have so much pain and hurt in the past but if they truly want their happily ever after they have to work through that pain. This story, while funny at times, was so emotional but beautiful it captured my heart. While it can be read as a standalone the prequel gives you a glimpse how these two started and ended, so you don’t have to read it, but I recommend it because you feel the pain so real it cuts deep. This series will be another amazing journey for us.

I just love the premise of this book and I wish that I enjoyed this book more than I did. I really loved a lot of things about this book. The characters, mostly Harlow, who was wonderful. The setting. The plot. The storylines explored.

But I just wasn’t the biggest fan of the romance in this one and I didn’t really connect with it. Sometimes it just felt a little too one sided for me.

I still really enjoyed reading this book and I had a lot of fun reading it.

I received an arc of this book and this is my honest opinion

First things first, that cover. That dress. This is one of those books that draw you in from literally the first time you see it.

I know, you aren't supposed to judge a book by its cover, but in this case the perfection of the cover perfectly represents what you find when you open the book.

Harlow and Travis, as you know if you read the prequel (and if you didn't, start there) were a couple in college, right up until Travis decides to be an idiot (as men can) and make a decision that's better for Harlow without actually discussing it with her (as men do).

So, yeah. Your impression of Travis is that he's kind of an idiot. But you still feel a little sorry for him, as that wedding day (to the wrong woman so you don't actually want it to go well) is... Not good. At least as far as weddings go. You get an idea in the blurb, but reading it, well, it's the stuff of nightmares and every anxiety dream every bride has about things that could go wrong.

And then, right when everything really starts to fall apart at the wedding, Travis realizes the one who should be with him for his happiest day is there...but as a guest. You get the significance of this, but if you have read the prologue it really makes sense, so really, read it first. And that's the first time this book really gets you in the heart and makes you want this couple to work out, even if you are still a little annoyed with Travis.

The disaster of a wedding is also a really well done way of introducing the reader to the other players in the story, and the characters who are featured in the next books. Titles that are the 1st in a series can sometimes lose some of the focus on the main character because they are too focused on introducing everyone, but that didn't happen here.

The central characters work well together and it's a connection that you both believe and believe would still be there. The pacing is strong with the development of the new relationship balanced well between relying on the past and also forming new connections.

The only issue I have with this one is that I have to wait until JULY to read the next one. And I promise, you are going to want to read the next one immediately.

Universal

Receiving an invitation to the wedding of the ex who broke her heart years ago is a surprise, an unwelcome surprise. But Harlow made Travis a promise back then to be there with him for the best day of his life, so, that means she's going to his wedding. The wedding that isn't hers...

Seeing the ex he never got over waltz into his wedding has thrown Travis' world off its axis. Finding out his fiancée is having an allergic reaction and has left the wedding is nothing compared to seeing Harlow again, looking even more beautiful than the day he pushed her out of his life. Perhaps this is a wakeup call. Perhaps he needs to rethink his life, and realize Harlow has always been the one.

Sweet, sexy, and a bit of a gut punch - Mine to Have is a wonderful way to start off this new series. I loved reading as Harlow and Travis worked toward their second chance, having seen each other once again and realized they still loved each other. It may have been a bumpy ride, and they may have had to work through some pain left over from the past, but in the end, they made it and I loved it, loved them. I can't wait for more of this series now.

I grabbed this on audible and then felt like I needed to read the prequel first before I listened to it until I finally just jumped in and there was the prequel in the bloody audible version.

And omg the prequel was so sweet and then I was mad. But luckily it then jumped right into this book and I quickly got over my anger and got lost in the chemistry between these guys because damn I was fanning myself in the middle of winter. These guys were so hot together. I got lost in the story and the narration was perfect. I loved the voices and it was performed beautifully.

I want to rant about the way it all played out but I really don't want to ruin it for anyone and I'll be honest and say that although it's something that I personally am annoyed about it worked for the book and it didn't ruin the story for me I just wanted it to go the other way.

It took me a minute to realise that Harlow was the daughter from one of the couples in the Southern Series and since the next two books are Travis's sisters I'm hoping that the reason the thing that annoyed me happened is so we get more Travis and Harlow in the next books.

And now I'm off to preorder the next book because this series is just Natasha Madison gold.

Warning, if you haven’t read Mine To Kiss and plan to read Mine To Have…. STOP…. What you’re doing and pick up the prequel first! Give it a read and then dive in to Mine To Have! You’re not going to want to miss the beginning of Harlow and Travis’ epic whirlwind romance.

Now this is the reason behind why I became a fan of Natasha Madison. I felt this novel focused less on name brands and clothing styles and more on character depth and emotions. This is the reason why I started reading Natasha Madison novels to begin with. Brutal honestly, the past few releases of hers have just been okay, in my opinion. I’m extremely happy with the start of her Southern Wedding Series! I can’t wait for more!

But today we are focusing on Harlow and Travis’ story.

Harlow gave her heart to her college sweetheart. Four years after a heartbreaking ending to an epic romance, Harlow still feels that void in her heart that Travis broke when everything came crashing down around them.  The last thing Harlow ever expected was receiving an invitation to Travis’ wedding. She promised him all those years ago, she would show up for the biggest day of his life. And what’s bigger than a wedding…. Her friends and family are against her going, but with the support of her best friend, she finds herself replying and sending the rsvp back.

Travis broke his own heart four years ago when he chose her happiness over his own. He could have done the selfish thing and asked her to stay with him in the city. But knowing how important family is to Harlow, he did what he thought was the right thing at the time and walked away from the love of his life. Now, he finds himself staring down the barrel of a loaded gun known as his wedding day. And let me tell you all, everything that could very well go wrong on a wedding day, has went wrong! Including his bride making a confession of her very own….

And that’s where I’m going to end this portion of the review. All I’ll say from here on out is Natasha Madison brought the emotion! One minute I’m laughing so hard I can’t breathe and then the very next I’m feeling my heart start to shatter… She definitely brought her all to Harlow and Travis’ story!

Throughout this novel and with every page turned, I felt my heart cracking more and more for Harlow and her situation. This is a woman who deserves the ultimate happily ever after. So many feels where this character is concerned! I loved the old school Natasha Madison vibes!! As for Travis, I loved this character’s personality and the fact that he brought so many swoony and sweet moments to this book. My heart was invested. I also loved the slight boy next door approach!

I loved Mine To Have! However, there was a huge reasoning behind why I dropped a star on my rating and only gave this one a four star and that reasoning is the lack of communication conflict Harlow and Travis went through…. This could have all been fixed with one simple conversation! UGH! The fact that Travis decided things on his own…. Without any input from Harlow really pissed me off. It’s her life too! Does she not have a say in where she wants to work? Does she not have a say in how she wants to live her life or who she wants to live her life with? If he were to have just sat her down and explained his fears to her, they could have hashed this out and made a decision together…. Men!!! UGH!

Overall, I loved Travis and Harlow’s story… aside from that lack of communication moment. Honestly, I can’t wait to get my hands on the rest of this series. I have a feeling and a hope that each book is going to be even better than the last! I can’t wait!

Love isn’t easy, the path to forever isn’t always a smooth one! When a second chance presents itself Travis and Harlow have choices to make and they aren’t going to be easy!

This is one of the most pure romances I have read in awhile! The love, friendship and family in this book was a beautiful journey and I loved every second!!

I loved how ,ugh I hate using the word wholesome but that’s the only thing I can think of, so I love how wholesome Harloe is! She has a kind heart, gentle soul and she loves fiercely! Travis loves his family deeply and with 3 sisters he has his hands full! And I love how above and beyond they go to ensure their brothers happiness!

Overall this story is a 5 star and one that is full of spice!! I loved these two and this story took some turns I didn’t expect but overall absolutely loved!!!

Natasha is such a talented author and seems to have the most gorgeous covers out there, so I was really excited for this brand new series, buuuuut I struggled with this one a bit. Mainly because I never warmed up to Travis. Look, I loved Harlow -- seriously loved her -- but SHE was the sole reason why her and Travis were reunited. He says that he always loved her and only her, but he never put in any effort of actually loving her. And every time they tried to have an adult conversation his immediate answer was to have sex. He just didn't do it for me, but I am looking forward to Shelby's book!

After reading the novella Mine to Kiss a few months back, I couldn't wait to read the completion of Harlow and Travis's story! I enjoyed the beauty of this couple and the effortless connection they shared. Their second chance romance was truly sweet!

I loved how it was so easy for them to dive back into a relationship together after their years apart. They both learned from the past and realized the chance they get to have a love that powerful. Their biggest problems were distance and miscommunication, but it was clear that Travis was playing for keeps and wouldn't let Harlow go a second time. They shared emotional, but also steamy moments together.

It was so nice to get more of Harlow's family, which I met in the Southern Series. Travis's sisters were also interesting to meet and they are the stars of the next novels in the Southern Wedding Series, which I'm so excited about.

I loved this book so much.

I’m a huge fan of second chance romance and this one hits all the marks for me.

Right from the first chapter, I got invested and couldn’t let go. I had tears of laughter on my face because the sisters are definitely something else and while trying their best to plan and stick to their brother’s wedding, everything went askew and let’s be honest, I never thought that funeral flowers could be used for a wedding ceremony!

The heart wants what it wants in the end and the chemistry and love are something none of them can deny, no matter what happened in the past. They both work hard to deserve that happily ever after, and I loved how everything evolves in this novel.

Looking forward to read more in the series as this one definitely made for an unmissable read.

I loved the majority of this book. I read the prequel so I knew the circumstances behind Travis breaking up with Harlow. I had a feeling this book would be all about misscommunication/lack of communication and it was. They literally needed one conversation and none of this would've happened.

I really didn't like that Travis was about to get married and that same night is having sex with Harlow. He's supposed to be an intelligent man, so it's hard to understand why he is clearly marrying someone he didn't really love.

However, their story had a good ending and I'm happy for them.

Mine to Have

Second chance of love. When Harlow receives an invitation to her ex-boyfriend, the one who dumped her and broke her heart, she faces a dilemma. Does she throw the invite in the bin or does she keep her promise to him to be with him the on every important day of his life.

This book had my heart breaking for Harlow many times. I did love Travis but that four year separation, his engagement to another woman was hard to take. But persevere, Harlow was strong and classy the whole way through. Even better, she is a Pink Lady and has impeccable taste in movies, I defy anyone who does not rate Grease 2 soundtrack!

Great to catch up with previous characters and to be introduced to the next generation of new characters and not so patiently wait for their own books.

HEA guaranteed but lots of feels to get there.

I be been not so patiently waiting for this book and it did not disappoint! This This always floors me with her books and I was blown away with this one. Travis and Harlow were definitely meant to be. I loved their story and I was so happy to get to read about more characters from the Southern series. This book has buried itself within my heart.

A beautiful second chance romance. My heart broke when I read Mine to Kiss and I couldn’t wait to read this book. When it's meant to be, the universe knows the right time. Harlow and Travis are perfect for each other. I am so glad they got their HEA!

However, the spice was spicing and I’m definitely interested in reading the rest of the series

A second-chance at rekindling a romance. Travis and Harlow were college sweethearts both headed to becoming veterinarians. He preemptively broke up with her because he knew he couldn’t do the long-distance relationship and didn’t want her to choose between her two worlds. Harlow had hoped that one day they might get married.

It’s four years later when Harlow receives a wedding invitation for Travis’ upcoming nuptials, she remembers the promise she made to him to be there on the happiest day of his life. At the time, she thought she’d might be the one standing beside him, but nevertheless she still goes, hoping it will bring her closure.

On the wedding day, things go from bad to worse for Travis when pretty much everything seems to go wrong.

Four years have passed and the universe seems to be giving them a push in the right direction. He sees his ex, Harlow, looking even more beautiful than the day he pushed her out of his life.

The main characters Harlow (daughter of Casey & Olivia of Southern Comfort) and Travis.

After the fiasco of the wedding that never was, they spend his wedding night together, with his sisters witnessing her discomfort the next morning.

Travis’s sisters essentially runs the show (in their element) and then there’s Harlow’s family who makes him anxious as he works to get back into their good graces. A wonderfully supportive family.

The sham of a wedding.
Finding out his fiancée is having an allergic reaction and has left by ambulance, is nothing compared to her confessing that she doesn’t want to marry him and might be in love with her roommate.

Jennifer obviously wasn’t for him.
Maybe the right one was at the wrong time. Or maybe Harlow was the right one all along, but he wasn’t able to grasp his chance of her not choosing him.

Amidst recriminations of lost years they finally find their way back to one another.

The past is important because of lessons learnt. Who we are because of it. Some people learn bad lessons, and some people learn valuable ones.
