sighhhhh just no

This was an annoying read. I thought it might be one of those surprise baby stories where she really didn’t know the guys name and they reconnect years later when he is her professor. But she knew who he was all along. Just because he didn’t show up to one prearranged meeting after they hooked up she becomes furious and never tells him she’s pregnant with his baby? She held all the cards. She blocked his number mad about his no-show. She never asked him why or read any of the messages before she deleted and blocked. She kept his kid from him for six years. She’s a horrible character!!! And the writing makes absolutely no sense to be honest. At one point it talks about how he dropped out of college or excuse me yeah got kicked out of college yet how did he all of a sudden become a professor even at a community college? There are standards you’d have to have at least your masters degree to teach at the collegiate level? Not just because oh look I developed an app and I’m rich. I honestly wasted a couple of hours of my life on this one it wasn’t even worth a skim much less a full read.

all over the place

There was no chemistry. She sleeps with him at the drops of a hat and the reaction to finding out he had a kid was unrealistic. He never even mentions being upset she kept it from him. There was no real conflict anywhere in this book. I had such a hard time reading this book.

The addition starts with the book cover….yeah…yeah…yeah don’t judge a book by its cover they say ….well we all do it and this one here it is the scratch to your itch or better yet the filling to your oreos! Within the first chapters you get the panoramic view of whom you’re dealing with! Sometimes the past comes back to bite you and forces you to face it…deal with it. Bella wasn’t one of the popular kids in college (a nerd more like it), head always in her books, and one night she tries to hang out ends up hanging a little too much. She is hit with a double whammy losing her innocence and ending up pregnant throwing her life off course. Sean sexy as all get out college student out partying, comes from a wealthy family and scoring with as many girls as he can (he changed the nerd’s (what she was called) course of life). After that night he never communicated with her again, Bella worked hard to provide/protect her daughter. Six years later she decides to try and finish school showing up to class to have the very man who ghosted her, fathered her child walk in as her professor. She can not /will not allow him near her baby girl but what happens when he finds out, will he want to be a part of his daughter, will she allow him to a part of their lives, what was his excuse of ghosting her so many years ago, and can they find some common ground for their daughter ..maybe happiness?

بعد شهر بتعرف انها حامل (ولانها غبية جداً ومتسرعة وسخيفة بتقرر انه ماله داعي تقول لـ سين المسكين 🤡)
القصة بتوقف هنا وبتكمل بعدها (بعد ٦ سنين) لما بترجع تلقي بسين.
بتلتقي معاه وبتكتشف انه صار بروفيسور ورئيس شركة ومليونير.
وهي بعد ماوقفت دراستها وخسرت منحتها لست سنين بتقرر ترجع تدرس في كلية المجتمع الي يعلم فيها سين صدفةً .

Bella Shaw works 3 jobs to put herself through college and doesn’t let the whole college experience with the partying and hooking up side track her from her dreams but just one time she gives in to the charms of Sean Harrington the rich playboy on campus and not only does she loose her virginity to him but she takes a little something extra away from there one night together so now pregnant Bella cannot tell Sean because she never see’s him again because he is ghosting her which breaks her heart. Leaving college to have her baby girl Ava is the best thing she has ever done and so for 6 yrs Ava has been her life but it’s time for Bella to get her college degree in night school and who is the Professor teaching her class but her baby’s Daddy Sean Harrington who broke her heart in college and has know idea that he has a child. Professor Sean Harrington who is a billionaire now and works for free in night classes to give back to the college that made him who he is today and is surprised to see Bella Shaw in his class and he remembers the hot night they spent together but hadn’t seen her since then and now wonders why she is in night school now getting her degree. Bella’s panicking about weather or not she should tell him about there daughter Ava and how he will he react when he finds out. Find out what happens between them all and what the future holds.

I really enjoyed this second chance, surprise baby, Professor romance. It was a different twist on a professor romance and it was well done. Bella and Sean were terrific characters. I loved the development that the characters went through during the course for the story, especially Sean. He becomes so much more then the partying playboy son of a billionaire. The man he becomes was swoon worthy and they way that he was with Bella’s daughter was best warming.

Bella and Sean meet in college where they hit it off mostly because they argue but also because they are able to truly see each other. They end up with a falling out that leaves them not talking to each other and with Bella pregnant. Years later they are reunited when Bella returns to school, only to have Sean be her new professor. I loved the way that the past was explained and the truth of their baby comes out. As Sean works on navigating the new waters of parenthood, your heart will skip at how sweet his feelings are. Misunderstandings aren’t just a thing of the past though, so will these two amazing characters find their HEA? The ending of this book was fantastic and I enjoyed this book very much.

Sean & Bella meet at college. Bella is there on a full sponsorship and Sean is the son of a rich business man and is a typical entitled teenager.

After a steamy night together Bella dreams of a bright future are dashed as she discovers she is pregnant and has to drop out of college.

When her daughter starts school she feels now is the time to pick up her education and her hopes for a career, unfortunately her professor is the father of her daughter. Sean is now a successful business owner and is teaching a class at the community college to give back to society but is unsure of his ability in the role. Sean has not seen Bella since that fateful night and recognises her immediately as she sneaks into his class late. The chemistry is still there between but also the anger that Bella feels towards Sean after he ghosted her. Sean is unaware of Bella's life after college and doesn't know that they have a child.

This story flowed well and the pages turned easily. I enjoyed this book and would recommend it.

Bella is working multiple jobs to put herself through college and doesn't let even her room mate side track her with parties. Then one night she gives in to Sean a rich party boy and her life changes drastically. Years later her daughter is starting school so Bella has decided to go back to college herself for a few classes. She is stunned when the one class she signed up for is being taught by the father of her daughter. Sean is stunned to find Bella in his class and tries to roll with it. However Bella doesn't respond well that first day and it sets a bad tone in class for her. Bella is trying to decide if she should tell Sean about their daughter which could complicate things between them even more. Sean is still drawn to Bella and wants to catch up with her. Will he react well to learning he has a daughter? Can they get a second chance together?

This is a great story that will hook you in the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last one. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Professor's Secret Baby gives us the story of Sean and Bella who met in college were total opposites and had a one night stand. Sean was the rich kid coasting through life while Bella cracked the books hard trying to make something of herself. Even though they're opposites they had a connection with each other. Bella goes to meet Sean one night and he never shows up leaving her with a permanent reminder of their night together which forces her to drop out of school. Fast forward six years and Bella decides to finish her degree while her daughter is in school. Imagine her surprise upon entering the classroom and seeing that her professor is Sean. Now she's really in a quandary tell him about their daughter or leave well enough alone. Would he even care that he has a daughter? I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. I will say that you definitely need to read this book it was beautifully written.

Not for Me

I dont mind a surprise baby trope if done well. The one scenario of the trope I despise, and I know this is my own personal opinion, is when the mother discovers she is pregnant and then intentionally keeps the pregnancy/child from the father for an extended period of time. A lie by omission is still a lie. Its hard to like a character who is a liar so I had a really hard time feeling any kind of empathy for Bella. She was constantly blaming Sean for losing her her education and making her life so difficult, but he doesnt even know he got her pregnant, let alone that he has missed out on the first five years of his daughter's life. It was frustrating and I found Bella annoying. By the halfway point I almost quit reading the book altogether. I probably should have because it didn't improve much. It transitioned from Bella hating Sean to an awkward, insta-love relationship in the last 25% of the book. That wasn't nearly enough time to create any kind of substance or support for the drastic change in the storyline. It just didn't work for me.

This book brings us Sean and Bella. They met in college, total opposites, but had a one night stand. Bella was very studious and Sean was a rich kid with no real direction in his life. Even though they were from different worlds, there was just some kind of a connection between the two of them. However, one night when they were supposed to meet, Sean never showed up, leaving Bella with a "secret" that she kept to herself. Now six years later, Bella and her daughter Ava are struggling, but she strives to make ends meet. She decides to go back to night school, and low and behold, her new teacher is now Sean. They are both shocked to see each other, and Sean doesn't quite understand why Bella is so standoffish. The more time they spend together, and Sean opens up about what happened in the past, Bella reveals her secret, and oh my word, I turned to mush with Sean's reaction. This was such a good story. I highly recommend it. I did receive an arc for an honest review.

Professor's Secret Baby by Layla Valentine is another addition to the Southern Beaus series. It's a second chance, mature student/ professor college romance between a nerdy girl and a playboy whom are now grown up and harbouring secrets of their own. The biggest one being a secret daughter that won't remain a secret for very long. Sean and Bella have a very complicated history and an even more complicated meeting years later. Read this book to find out if they can overcome their struggles or if history really does repeat itself. This book although a little short for my liking, allowed the author to develop the characters and plot adequately. It explores real life struggles between wealth and families. I highly recommend giving it a go and reading the others in this series as the books are standalone but are better enjoyed together.

Bella is shocked to find that the Professor teaching her first evening college class is the father of her daughter.
Bella lost her virginity to rich boy Sean found herself pregnant and had to drop out of college but now her daughter Ava has started kindergarten she plan to try for a degree again starting with evening classes at the local college.Nervous at leaving Ava with a sitter she walks into her first class and is shocked to find that Sean is the professor taking this class. Sean has taken time out from his business to teach a class at the local college and is unsure of his ability to fill that role. He just about to start the class when a late comer enters and her recognizes her as Bella who he has not seen since college.

Awesome Story . . .

Sean Harrington and Bella Shaw had a one-night-stand in college and Sean disappeared from her life. She finds out she is pregnant and has to drop out of college. She had been struggling with multiple jobs and was exhausted. And now she was heartbroken as well since he apparently walked away.

Six years later, her daughter was in school and she decided to finish her degree. But when she entered the classroom, Sean was the professor! He is also now a billionaire. But this leaves Bella with a decision to make. Should she tell Sean that he has a daughter? Or won’t he care?

This is a very emotional story line that will pull the reader in. Sean had his issues, but he’s trying to give back to the college now. Will he also want to be part of his daughter’s life? And maybe even find a HEA for them all?

Bella and Sean met at University, she was focused on her career and he was just cruising along using his family name. After their one night together, everything changes and Bella ends up pregnant. She drops out to have the baby.
6 years later, she feels in a better place to return to her studies, but when she turns up to class Sean happens to be the guest lecturer for the class.
Sean is not aware of what happened to Bella after college and doesn't realise they have a child together and Bella still has a grudge against Sean as she feels he ghosted her after their night together.

I enjoyed this story and would recommend reading it.

Sweet and enjoyable

Professor's Secret Baby is a sweet second chance/secret baby romance. When Bella and Sean meet in college that have a night with a lot of fun. These two are very different as she is intelligent, driven and ready to succeed while he is rich, entitled and does not really care. What happens next you already know the basics of but there are a few nice details that mix things up a bit. I liked Bella but found that she was more than a little "unintelligent" when it came to life and Sean I wanted to kick in a butt as he is spoiled. When they meet again they are still quite different but that does not mean they are not brought together over something sweet and beautiful.

He's gone back to college to teach night class for Digital Marketing for a semester & Bella is there as she has a dream seeing up a non profit site to help young single mothers aid them like she did even though she could've JUST TOLD THE VERY WEALTHY student but as he stood her up she deleted his number & didn't go back UNTIL that is when He Turns out to become Her new Professor 6 yrs later & Her first feelings are *'you're ruining my educating once again'* but does he or does that first initial attraction still there????

Back in college Bella was on scholarship so she is constantly studying until the one night he gets intrigued by the wealthy software developing student Sean. Their night together turns out to be more than she ever expected when she loses her virginity to him along with her scholarship to Stanford when she ends up pregnant. Six years later she goes back to community college where she meets her new college professor Sean. While they try to ignore each other it does not take long for them to reconnect as friends and he finds out about Ava his daughter. Wonderful story and sweet little Ava was just precious.

This is another wonderful story by Layla Valentine, well-written with a sweet, steamy and entertaining storyline. Sean and Bella meet at college when he's a layabout playboy and she's a hard working student. They seem unlikely pairing however their chemistry sizzles and they have a major misunderstanding and spend the next several years on different paths until Bella ends up as Sean's student at night classes... I love how Sean easily accepts Ava into his life and tries to win Bella back as well.

Good story with the title a little bit too revealing
It's a very good romance between two characters at the antipodes of each other: Sean, an heir who has his place at the university because his family finances it and Bella for whom the university is a real life luck until it all falls apart because of Sean and then everything becomes complicated for her.
Their story is tender, but also intense between hatred, attraction, and misunderstandings.

4.5*’s. It’s amazing how those things from the past can have a huge influence on one’s s life path. Bella and Sean start their journey in college with very different priorities in mind. I was touched by just how different their lives had become when they meet six years later. The story kept me sucked in watching all the twists and turns the pair take as they try to navigate this rekindled relationship.

This book is a great read . This story is about Bella who is college nerd and all she do is school work and no play . Then comes Sean who is a bad boy not passing college and wants to have fun and not live under his father name at the university . Bella wasn't paying attend to where she was going and bumps into Sean and the rest is history .

Professor's Secret Baby...

A very cute read full of angst and drama. They meet as college students. She is a driven scholarship kid bent on succeeding. He is the rich kid without a care in the world. One crazy night changes both their lives. When fate puts them back together years later, they are no longer the same people. But a baby connects them. A newish author for me and I like it.

Nice story but meh

I liked it, I did. But the female lead was lacking some common sense to me. Or just was too overly sensitive??? She’s not horrible, in fact in some ways relatable. But some choices she made didn’t make sense to me. The guy was good, I’m fact to me he didn’t do anything to really warrant being an a**hole that wasn’t already normal. Other than that it’s a good light read to pass time.

This book was so good and I was absolutely enthralled from the beginning until the end and the storyline flowed throughout the book. What happens when you have one night with a college guy and 6 years later he is your professor and now you have a secret that could hurt several people? I absolutely fell in love with Belle and Sean story.

started out so good

Ahhhh it started out so good. But fell flat for me about mid way through.

I enjoyed the plot and the characters but would have been better character background information and not just "falling in love" within like 2 weeks and pretending they knew everything about each other.

So much drama - but wait, here's a house then they're in love. Blah.
