A paranormal escort service. That kind of thing can’t possibly exist, right? If you told me to imagine the sort of woman people would pay to have sex with, it wouldn’t be me. But I’ve just learned that otherkin are real, and my mage boss insists that sometimes they need a little quality time with a convenient, willing human body. My first client turns out to be an incubus with secrets. Every paranormal fangirl’s dream job, right?
This short story is 6,500 words.
Author’s Note
The Sex With Monsters collection is a series of erotic short stories. While they will flow better if read in order, they can also be enjoyed as bite-sized stand-alone stories. Each story will outline an encounter with a new paranormal creature. Have a creature you want to see featured? Feel free to visit me on social media and let me know!
*Includes explicit language (swearing, and lots of it), and graphic sex scenes.
*Stories may contain MF, FF, MM, and menage or poly situations. (Love is love!)
*Stories may contain characters of all genders/gender expressions.
*Some characters may have traumatic backstories which they may or may not discuss or think about. The story arc itself will not include on-page sexual trauma, but it is possible that such situations may be discussed. There is nothing of that sort in the first story.
Sometimes our greatest strengths come from our deepest challenges. I write magic and romance, starring a cast of creatures with feathers, fins, and teeth. My books include paranormal romance, urban fantasy, and fantasy romance--with the occasional steampunk or alien story thrown in just for kicks. My pan heart firmly believes love is love, so you'll see straight, LGBTQIA, monogamous, reverse harem, and poly relationships in my work. My favorite theme is overcoming our inner demons and the insecurities that hold us back. I also advocate for self-development and mental health and dabble in non-fiction as time allows. I love the outdoors and still hope to be abducted by fae! (I may have more in common with my characters than I care to admit.)
I love to hear from readers!

I read #2 Vampire and #3 Minotaur a few months back and enjoyed them, but for some reason #1 Incubus and #4 Gorgon weren't available in KU, which is how I read most of my books. I couldn't really justify the $4 cost of these short stories since they truly are quick half hour reads so I skipped them for the time being. This past week I saw a FB ad that #5 Dragon was just released and noticed it was in KU so I checked out the series details and saw they are all available now so I'm going to binge the series in the next couple days.
Honestly after reading Vampire I assumed I had missed some kind of intricate set-up for the series in book #1, but that really didn't happen, few additional details were given that didn't appear in the second book, which was a little bit of a let down. I guess I was hoping to get a glimpse of what Arson saw in Nerissa to approach her with his proposition.
Nevertheless I enjoyed reading the first in the series about a new down-to-earth escort and her otherkin clients and adored the interplay between Nerissa and Eder, the scarred incubus. It was a delicious spicy story that leaves you wanting more.
This was a fun little novella. Some spice, but not quite as much as I thought it was going to be. Would have liked to see it have gone a little on the heavier side considering what the story was about. Only got one real scene described in full while the other 2 or maybe 3 ? were just implied. Still was a good story for no longer than it was. Really liked the realness of Nerissa’s character and the fact that she’s encouraged to be as natural and normal as possible. Would recommend for a quick little monster-fudger fix! 🤙🏼💕
Charging £2.35 for a 23 page erotic chapter (not a book) is criminal. Calling this a book, is also criminal. Thankfully in the title it says short story, and I got it on kindle unlimited, but it's really not worth the time it takes to read it (which was 10 minutes). I think it's sheer greed that these were separated into separate 'books' for purchase and not just one book.
I have had Escort on my Monster kink TBR for a while now….tonight I was in the mood for something new and sexy. I decided to start at the beginning and now I’m on my way to next 👹. Seriously though I think Kaye just become an always click. ❤️🔥
I really enjoyed this short story. It’s definitely erotica but it’s most definitely worth reading. I liked the characters. I hope at some point we get a story with the other worker but also I want more of from this FMC.
🥵🥵🥵🥵🥵 This one was sooo good! I wasn’t sure what to expect with a novella this short, but friend if this wasn’t the one night stand I’ve been waiting for 🥵 READ THIS ONE. I’m about to go binge the series~
This book has made me wonder, would Arson take my old behind as Moster Escort. I mean satidfacti9n and getting paid...to do the 9ther thing I love...Hhhmmmm!?!?!?
Straight smut. No plot, real short. I tend to like my monsters with a bit more backstory and felt like I wanted to have a lot more than a hotel room and sex.
For the start of a VERY short story series, it's pretty good. I do wish they were longer, or at least had more information on the main character and background on the world, but for what they are I really enjoy them. They are erotica, and that's okay. I just wish there was more to it.
This was an absolutely fun introduction to the "Sex with Monsters" series. This is short and spicy, but does not skimp on the plot! Everyone is sex positive and who doesn't love a little monster romance? I already downloaded the next installment!
4.6/5 ⭐️ This was a smutty monster romance ! Definitely a quick spicy read that leaves you wanting more. I looked into more of the series but cannot justify such pricy novellas , books yes !
Goodreads doesn’t allow me to put the start date and end date as Feb 2nd, I read this in one sitting under 30 minutes!
I enjoyed this one ! Hopefully there are kindle sales soon for this author !
This was a super cute short read. I loved the relatability of the FMC, she is adorable and very inquisitive. The simplicity of the story made it really easy to sucked in and wanting more. Sometimes less is more, it was a very good balance.
