Sierra Lancaster has had an agonizingly mediocre life. She grew up in a happy home, made loyal friends, graduated college, and is now pursuing her dream of running her own bakery. Boring, right? A story like this wouldn't be one for the books. At least not until you bring a hot neighbor into the mix. A tall, brooding, shredded (like, wash your clothes on those abs shredded), and wildly successful sports agent. Interested yet? It gets better. Said neighbor isn't just a random, but Sierra's childhood nemesis that made her formerly chubby days a living hell. Now we're talking, aren't we?
Holden Rey has always been the golden boy. Holden...golden...you following? You'd think the bitchy universe would do its job and throw some karma his way but to no avail. Not only has he got it all, but he knows it too. He also still has it out for Sierra and resumes being a jack-ass of epic proportions (and his ass ain't his only epic proportion) as soon as he realizes who the new girl next door is. It's the same old story with these two except this time, there's unwilling attraction and sexual tension underneath all the hate. Is it just lust or does the bitchy universe actually have a plan?
So maybe this story is one for the books after all
I personally struggle withy body image so this book was everything for me. Sierra also struggles with body image and I love show Holden told Sierra that he loved her even when she didn’t loved herself in that moment.
I just re read this book again because I needed my Crazy Sierra back.
This definitely has sunshine/grumpy in it. Sierra is almost always happy and Holden is a scary fucker. He is grumpy and has ocd.
I loved how ocd and body image were used in this book because I don’t really read about it in other books. The author did a great job with writing it. And making it very realistic.
I can finally say that after a long time of searching, I found a good book on Wattpad. A total worth the read type of book.
It's a rom-com story, holding many meaningful messages. I got to know what BDD and OCD are exactly, which is in my advantage as a reader. Plus, the theme is really nice, the characters are great, the chapters were skillfully written. The only thing I didn't appreciate much about this book, is that it contains detailed sexual content in few chapters. I don't know about you, but it makes me uncomfortable. Like, it's okay if there's some of this and that but not in details cause it just turns disgusting. At least that's my honest opinion.
About the characters, Rey is serious, hard working, a man of his word, loyal and protective of his loved ones. I liked his character the most because I relate to people like him somehow. The thoughts he get and the reasons behind the things he does. Totally understandable.
Sierra is a ray of sunshine. She's funny, caring, kind and passionate about her job. Which is baking. I liked her character as well, her relationship with her adoring parents. And the most beautiful thing is the string that attaches her with Rey. Their past, present and future.
I had fun reading this book, I also learned many new information as I mentioned before. It's the first time I ever read a novel where the female lead isn't as perfect as most authors choose her to be. She's got many insecurities and fears, a realistic idea that others can simply relate to it because it is what we're living now.
One of my favorite lines is, "when you run, I run". It just expresses the commitment, love and attachement in Rey's opinion. And that's what I like most about him.
I totally recommend this book to people who like to read rom-com, serious mental illnesses, old friends meeting again after years..it's gonna be worth it believe me.
OMFG ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME??????????????????? THAT WAS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! really like i read this book in one day and one night. I could not put it down. and this is not the first time it happened with Amber's books, i'm talking with all of her books. Her writing is so good, i cannot even start about it and i really think she has an amazing potential as being a successful published author! really i recommend all of her books, including this rom-com with our favorite trope: childhood bestfriends to ennemies to lovers, ladies and gentlemen! plus it happened to talk about body dismorphia and how the main FMC dealt with it throughout the years, it just is so realistic. It was funny, heartbreaking, cute and real all at the same time. love you amber for another 5-stars book
I love Holden and Sierra romance so much since they were childhood friends and came from the same hometown in Minnesota but sierra parents support her while Holden parents traveled the world and left him in charge of his younger brother mason and love the spicy scenes between Holden and sierra and love the enemies to lovers Rom com so much but I love that I could relate to sierra when she was a teenager because she had body insecurities thanks to bully’s at her high school and she went to therapy because of it and then past comes back to haunt because she is dating Holden who got injured in the NFL and became a sports agent instead and I love that sierra loved baking and opened up her bakery in San Francisco and it was hard for her to make friends at the beginning but then Holden helped out with her small business and I wasn’t a fan of Holden parents in the book and this book made me cry like a baby and I just love this authors writing so much and can relate to some of the stuff happening in the book and love that Holden and sierra were so different and will be reading more of this authors work in the future
And I love that Holden and sierra get there happy ending with being married and having a daughter called Charlotte and Holden becomes a daddy’s girl and Holden snd mason open up there own sports agency for athletes and sierra makes friends from Holden work

Sierra is just the girl that you may find in every one in a ten people.
I loved how she is so open with her thoughts and even though she's been through a rough patch in life and is now in a better place, that doesn't gets to her head.
Holden Rey is absolute sweetheart. The perfect guy anyone could ask for.
The way he treats Sierra is so heartwarming.
I loved their chemistry. I loved the author's writing style. I loved how the characters have been portrayed.
THIS IS THE BEST BOOK OF MY ENTIRE YEAR PLSSS IM A SUCKER FOR THESE KINDS OF BOOKS!! 😭💖 This book is literally a safe place for me and it’s such a comfort read. I loved possibly EVERY character in this book! This book made me laugh and cry so much and I literally cannot put my love for this book into words
I absolutely loved this book. It is filled with so much tension and hilarious moments. This is the definition of a true enemies to lovers. The author is able to convay important issues like insecurities and how hard it is to overcome them. Every single detail was perfect. This is a must read!
This book was so good omgg and Sierra is honestly so funny and completely relatable. Her and Holdens humour is the exact same and I thought it was so sweet that they were best friends when they were younger. I read it in one go it was so good :)) (funniest book)
If you are looking for a book that is quick to read. This is it. This book was too funny. I couldn’t stop laughing which is why I am giving this book 4 stars. Otherwise with only the plot I would give it 2.5 stars. There was no plot but moreover a lot of bickering and arguing which was funny.
This book was freaking adorable! The female MC was so relatable and witty that I loved her! And Holden was that loveable grump who you cannot not love. I also loved the side characters including Harper & Sawyer ;) I can't wait to read more from this author!
