I attempted to read a copy of this story that was included in the anthology Call of Magic: A Limited Edition Collection of Fantasy, Urban Fantasy, and Paranormal Romances but had to quit in the middle. The following is a slight edit my original review there:

DNF at Ch 3 (of 10) when they failed to trap the dragon in the magical book and ended up with their car burned.

This story followed the human FMC Meghan after she accidentally released all of the magic from a book in her aunt and uncle's magic shop when audibly reading from it. Three imprisoned demons/guardians of magic were released to herd the escaped magical creatures (dragons, fae, trolls, etc) back into the book or the magic would eventually destroy all the realms. The story was an extreme insta-lust, and the random intimate scenes and general lustiness distracted from their supposely "important quest." I dislike stories that fit in random illogical smut when there is supposed to be a sense of urgency with an ongoing issue.

What if you were an average human, just loved reading - particularly magic; then discovered your reading unleashed magic on the world? Chaos ensued and you dove in with zero understanding and background. Then took a few minutes out to enjoy all the please you could with three gorgeous hunks of male guardian.

This is that story.

Brilliant read. I so hope there is more to this story.
What harm can reading book do? to Meghan a lot can happen when reading a particular book and this book becomes more important than anything else. Meghan needs to learn stuff quickly before Chaos ensues.

A fun story that did not take long to read. Interesting characters and plot, the story flowed well.
