Naughty or Nice Season Two

His Boy to Cherish

Rate this book
Dear Santa,

I’m going to be upfront and tell you that I feel silly doing this, but here goes nothing!

I’ve realised that I lean more towards being a Daddy, than a strict Dom. I’m kind and caring, and I want someone to spoil. I’ll always put my boy’s needs before my own. I’ll take care of him in every way he needs me to. I’ll discover what he wants, how to make him smile, laugh, and moan

As for what I’m looking for in a boy… I’d like someone who wants to feel special, and who enjoys being held by his Daddy. If I had to choose between a naughty or nice boy, I think I’d choose nice. I can put a naughty boy through boot camp, but I’d much rather praise a good boy.

What I really want, Santa, is someone to cherish this Christmas. I hope that’s not too much to ask for.

Sincerely,

ExCombatDaddy

His Boy to Cherish is an M/M winter romance with a disabled first-time Daddy, a little who loves stuffies, a twelve-year age-gap, nappies, a loud-mouth best friend, some familiar faces, hurt/comfort, and a lot of feels. Trigger warning for characters with PTSD.

His Boy to Cherish is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two multi-author series. Each book can be read as a standalone, but there are so many Daddies looking for some holiday magic to bring them their perfect boys, why not grab them all?

5 “I’d be lost without you, little bird.” stars

“I will always take care of you and cherish you with all my heart.” […] “You’re the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. You complete me. I’ll always be your Daddy, and you will always be my beautiful boy.”

----

I just wanted to update my review of this one but I just re-read this book as an audiobook and I think it was my like 8th re-read of this book. I find myself going back and reading this one every time I have a hard week because this book is just a nice and warm hug in book form.

The audiobook for this book was absolutely brilliant. It really did a good job at bringing the story to life and it was everything I wanted it to be. I feel like this audiobook was just so engaging and a lot of fun to read. It complements the book super well and it enhances the reading experience of the book, which was already pretty much perfect to me. I have always loved reading this book and somehow the audiobook makes it even nicer a reading experience for me

----

When I say I want a sweet and fluffy book that provides me with a boatload of comfort and still has some conflict and some very emotional moments even if it’s a lower angst book, I mean this book, this book is everything I have ever wanted in a book.

I couldn’t think of a book better suited for my first 5 stars of the new year. Little confession, I read this book for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely loved it. So much that I decided to re-read it a couple of days ago. I also decided to re-read it tonight. I have read this book three times in about three weeks. I think that tells you how much I love this book. I read this book for the first time after I had a bad day and I needed a pick me up, I read this book for the second time after I read a book that completely destroyed me and I needed a pick me up and I read this book for the third time when I was super stressed and needed a pick me up. And the three times it worked perfectly at improving my mood, this book is just pure comfort for me.

Brief summary
There is an event on the Cuffd website where daddies can write letters saying what they want in a boy and boys can reply to them if they are interested. Ben who is a daddy writes a letter. Jayden, a boy, replies to him and they fall in love.

First, I loved the two main characters in this book so much. Ben was one of my favourite daddy that I have ever read about in a book. He was exactly the kind of daddy I want in a book. He wasn’t perfect, he had flaws and a believable personality that made him really endearing and he was also super sweet, he was super caring, the way he always took care of Jayden and his needs made me so happy, he always praised his boy, he was super attentive and receptive to his boy’s needs and wants, but he was also firm enough to make sure that he helped his boy and guided him towards things that are good for him. He was an all-around lovely daddy and I absolutely adored his character. And I absolutely loved Jayden too. He was so precious and sweet. He was such a super lovely character to read about and I really loved him.

Second, I don’t think I have enough words in my vocabulary to say how much I loved the relationship between the two main characters. It was so romantic and definitely made my heart melt, at many occasions. I just loved how these two always listened to each other and did things to make the other feel better. I loved how they always reassured the other when it was needed. I loved how they took care of each other at any time. I loved how they showed how much they love each through their every move, it was so lovely to see. Jayden had bad relationships that made him feel bad about himself before and I loved how Ben always took the time to show and tell Jayden how lovely and worthy he is. Everything about the relationship these two had was super lovely and everything I want to read about in a book.

Side note, I really appreciated every side character in the book and I thought that they really helped make the book lively and gave it such a good friendly vibe, the cast of characters in this book was really superb to me. Special mention to Jude, whom I really hope gets his book soon because I just love him so much.

Third, I really enjoyed the vibe of this book. I’m a big fan of hurt/comfort in books and the way it was done in this book was very delightful. This book talks a lot about heavier topics like the effects of being a soldier and the loss of an arm while being on duty, PTSD and the effects of it, assault, a parent who’s in a coma, abandonment issues and insecurities, but it was more focused on the comfort part and how people can comfort each other when living with those things. The way everything was shown really worked for me. I really enjoyed the vibe of this book, it was a nice mix of super sweet scenes and more angst-filled scenes and it really worked for me.

Special mention to how the book presented those topics too. Ben was in the military and he lost an arm during duty and I really liked how the book showed what that did to him and how his life was because of that event, that really worked for me and I loved reading about it. And also I really appreciated how PTSD was shown in this book, I really appreciated how it was represented and it felt realistic to me, I don’t have PTSD, but it felt very close to what I know about it and it really worked for me. I liked how the book didn’t shy away from showing the effects of PTSD and what it did to the characters who have it.

Fourth, this book was on the longer side and it really worked for me. I loved how we got to see everything build up over time and the relationship development was wonderful, I loved how their relationship developed and grew over the book, it was lovely to read about. Also, I really enjoyed how they met on the dating app, then met up really early in the book and had a date and then kept going on dates and learnt to get to know each other, that format really worked for me, I liked how it was straight forward but also worked very well at developing their relationship and their connection.

Fifth, I absolutely loved everything about how the kink was done in this book. Also, Jayden has a praise kink and I just loved how it was done, Ben kept praising him and telling him how lovely he is and it was just the sweetest thing. The age play was so damn sweet and I really enjoyed how it was portrayed in the book, it was all about comfort and how they can make each other feel good, loved and cared for and it really worked for me. I loved how they both were so into cuddles and how they always cuddled, it was so damn sweet. I loved Jayden’s love for his stuffed animals and how he has a lot of them, I also have tons of stuffed animals that I all love and cherish so I love seeing main characters who collect stuffed animals and who play with them, it’s just so sweet to me.

Special mention to the sex scenes in this book because god damn, those were scorching hot.

Also, special mention to Ben, who didn’t know if he was into age play before they got together but who listened to Jayden tell him what he loves and who never judged him for what he likes. I loved how Ben listened to what Jayden enjoyed and then took time to think and talk to other people who are into age play to understand it better and then he experimented with Jayden to see if he is into the same things that Jayden is, it was so sweet and it really worked for me.

Colette Davison is an author that I have only read two books of, including this one, but don’t be surprised when I go back and read her entire backlist soon, because so far her books are exactly what I love in books and I’m very much loving them.

I received an ARC of this book, and this is my honest review.

After loving Dear Daddy, Please Hold Us to pieces I wanted to read something similar sweet within the holiday setting and I thought I couldn’t go wrong with this author again.

Don’t get me wrong. This one was as heartfelt and sweet as the other was but unfortunately this book went a little too far in the Daddy/boy kink department for my liking so I couldn’t enjoy it the same way and had to skip certain parts of the story.

Ben was a wonderful Daddy but his dynamic with Jayden was set to be permanent. Like whenever they were together privately and often when they where in public Jayden went into little space. And he was a very young little, so there were also nappies involved. But be it as it may, because of the constant need of Jayden’s to be little and feel cared for I couldn’t really get into it and like Dee, who I was buddy-reading with, said, it somehow took the romantic appeal out of it for me too. I just like my characters to be in adult head space when they love.

“No one’s ever wanted to keep me before.”

Besides the sweet and caring relationship, this story also had very sad tunes to it that were sometimes hard to get through. Hearing what Jayden’s childhood had been like and what had caused it did break my heart and I guess it’s understandable that he tries to reclaim some of what he’d lost as a child when he gets into little space and wishes for a Daddy to hold him and care for him. In that regard I’m absolutely grateful for this character to have been granted his wish and he found Ben who was willing to give him everything he needed with all his heart. ♡

I absolutely adored Ben and Jayden.

No rating. There was nothing wrong with the book - I had difficulties with the content, but that’s on me and not on the story the author chose to tell.

4.5 stars. What a precious story! While it’s a sweet and utterly caring story there are things to keep in mind. There are characters with PTSD, at those specific moments, it’s intensely present. I found them honest, and carefully, respectfully, realistically written.

After a nice introduction about both men and we get to know a bit about their circumstances, they finally meet through the Cuff’d app. This time the Daddy put a wish to Santa in the app.
The letter from ExCombatDaddy was speaking to Jayden, so he gave a reaction.

Ben was thrilled with the sweet boy. Jayden couldn’t believe his luck with a Daddy like Ben. I’m mean he really really couldn’t believe it! Ben noticed Jayden’s insecurities and wants nothing more than to convince him of how sincere he’s about their relationship.

Ben is an awesome Daddy, Jayden is his first little and he’s a natural with caretaking.
I won’t go into both men’s lives, I don’t want to spoil. What I will tell is something about their jobs, Ben is an ex-military now counselor and Jayden is a nursery nurse.
Both men have fantastic friends, they are fun, dedicated, and supportive, they have a wonderful place in their lives, and in this narrative, I loved them hard!

Getting closer and more and more involved with each other means their past and present are revealed, which is, besides their beautiful relationship as Daddy and little, an important part of this story.

I adored this story, it’s widely written, every detail described, quite entertaining. There are thousands of endearments, they all felt genuine and were so palpable, I mean REALLY palpable.

An awesomely written, quite enjoyable age-gap Daddy/little story with some hurt/comfort, and the most lovable characters. The scenes are adorable and now and then with some delicious sexy time. The circumstances are exceptional and convincing. The story was most of the time amazingly sweet, but there are some heavy-weighted moments.

Overall a great addition to the Daddy/little collection!

The idea for His Boy to Cherish came from readers’ suggestions to the author that they wanted to hear Jayden’s story, after he made an appearance in Colette Davison’s Destination Daddies series. However, there is no requirement to read Greeking Out before picking up this wonderful holiday read. Nor do you need to read any of the other titles in this multi-author Naughty or Nice Season Two collection… but why wouldn’t you?

Ben is a retired soldier, injured in combat, who finally feels ready to date after losing half his arm in an event that ended his military career. Now that he has realised he is more of a Daddy than a Dom, he’s struggling to figure out how to look for a boy to care for. When his friend Jude creates a profile for him on Cuff’d (an online dating app for kinky singles), he writes a letter to Santa asking for a boy to cherish.

Jayden is a vulnerable little who has never been treated quite right by previous Daddies and just longs to be adored. When he reads Ben’s letter to Santa, it sounds too good to be true, but he replies with a simple “hello” anyway, figuring he has nothing to lose.

Both of these intriguing and complex men are not our typical romance story cutouts. Their backgrounds and situations are heartfelt and engaging, making this read something many people will find special and unique. I particularly enjoyed the slightly imperfect nature of the characters and I saw myself in some of the behaviours that Jayden employs to try to make others happy. And the way that Ben makes Jayden feel safe enough to truly be himself? It is simply beautiful and a true highlight of this story.

His Boy to Cherish focusses on a rich storyline with some brilliantly crafted protagonists by Colette Davison. The sweet and steamy scenes are also a lovely addition as all the elements come together beautifully to create a well-crafted story with all the feels.

This is part of the "Naughty or Nice" series. It's a sweet and intimate look into a Daddy/boy relationship. It features an age gap, hurt/ comfort. It’s low angst and high heat. Ben is an army veteran who was medically discharged after a blast took part of his arm. He’s dealt with a lot to get back to a semblance of normal. He just wants to find a boy to love and cherish. He signs up for the Cuffd app and writes his letter to Santa asking for his perfect boy. He gets a message from a sweet boy, and they instantly mesh. Jayden is the sweetest little cinnamon roll of a character that you have ever seen. He was made an orphan after a car accident left his mother in a coma. She's been like this for 19 years and Jayden has visited and sat and talked to her comatose body for 10 of those 19 years. Throughout his life, he has never felt that he was wanted or good enough. Other partners were horrible to him and always left not being able to deal with all his baggage. All he ever wanted was a "Daddy" to accept him for who he really is and to love him. He wasn’t expecting to find the perfect letter to Santa on the Cuffd app. He definitely wasn’t expecting to find a Daddy who fit so well into his life. Jayden has a hard time accepting love, but Ben has no problem proving himself to his “little bird” as Ben calls him, over and over again. Jayden and Ben make you want to crawl into the story and hug them both. They both deserve all the love and affection they can get. Love is something they have both had trouble finding... especially in the kink community. I think the way Colette Davison portrayed these kind and vulnerable men in that world was an incredible feat. There was great chemistry but also a great foundation of friendship and understanding between them. This was a wonderful story with great characters and this entire series can be read as standalones.

Northern UK. It's a fun Christmas tale where a Daddy writes about what he wants for himself and hopes the perfect boy answers his wishes.
Ben, 36, scars and a bionic prosthetic arm,

a disabled ex-military,

a man with PTSD, a great muscled body, dark eyes and brown hair, with a short beard and mustache, gets coaxed into writing the holiday letter. He's lonely and wants a sweet companion.
Jayden, 24, (on cover), is a lovely man, works

at a children's nursery, visits his Mum in a Nursing home, plus he's spent his childhood in foster care, and deserves all good things to come his way. His burden is heavy.

We learn about each guy, friends and family and each one is a lonely soul. Each man wants happiness and his needs met.

Ben is strong and a wonderful caretaker. Jayden, "little bird," has had a hard road in life, and wants someone to adult for him, so he can let go.

Our men take it slow while they learn what each one needs. Jayden feels so free when he's with Ben. Ben is happy to have found someone who likes the care and needs him.

They help Ben's friend, Jude with his PTSD, and we learn more about their pasts. Their deep relationship is growing and became even more than they expected. Happiness filled them both to be together.

This is a fantastic story of two men are in need, finally finding their "one."
Moving forward, they meet families and friends, and we learn more about their struggles and sadness. We get deeper thoughts about Jayden's Mum, and the strife Ben went through with his partial loss of his arm in combat.

This is important, profound, and relevant.
The Daddy/little relationship is explained well, while the tale is beautifully written and gripping.
It was a pure joy to read.

When the guys finally have sexy times, it is passion and pleasure filled.
Loved it ! ENJOY !

Daddy/boy (a little), light ABDL, aftercare, PTSD, prosthetic.
=====
These tales are each written by different authors, with the same "letter" theme.

After meeting Jayden in "Greeking Out", I was SO hoping he would get his own story. Jayden is the sweetest little that tries to put on a brave face to everyone else around him, while he secretly battles his feelings of insecurity and worthlessness. My heart broke for him because all he wanted was to be loved. Ben hasn't dated since he lost half of his arm while in the Army two years ago but he does miss having someone to care for. A Christmas event on Cuff'd brings these two together and it is magical! Ben is so thoughtful, caring, and protective towards Jayden from the get go and it had my heart melting! I loved seeing Jayden get the attention and affection that he so desperately desired. This story was sweet, sexy, and at times...very emotional. I loved everything about it and highly recommend it! Hopefully next year we will get to read about Ben's best friend Jude finding his love match! (fingers crossed!)

Ben used to be in the army but he was discharged because of an injury. He's been trying to put his life back in order and he's doing great except he hasn't dated since he left the military. His best friend, Jude, convinces him to join a dating app and that's where he meets Jayden. The two of them start dating and getting closer and they eventually fall in love.
This is a really beautiful and festive story. It's full of sweet moments that warm your heart. It's also a story about healing and the hurt/comfort scenes are absolutely wonderful. Jayden's backstory broke my heart and the parts with his mother made me tear up. I was so happy when those two men found each other and their happily ever after.
Fantastic book. I enjoyed reading it very very much.

I received a free copy of this book and this is my honest review.

First I want to say that I really did love this book. The relationship between Jayden and Ben is impossibly sweet.

But this book isn’t the typical lightheartedness we usually get from Colette. There are heavy PTSD themes, abandonment issues, long term “illness,” and distressing situations involving one of the MC’s toward the end.

That being said, their relationship, and it’s evolution, how they learn to heal, and how supportive they are of each other, is some of the best Daddy/boy dynamic I’ve ever read. I absolutely loved reading about them, just make sure you bring all of your emotional spoons heading in for the rest.

It's probably a me-thing, but I didn't enjoyed this as much as I wanted to. It wasn't daddy enough for me? And I missed more chatting or scenes around/about the whole app thing, it was just too easy and angst free.

The characters were okay and the story was great, but nothing special this time. I'm used to more from Colette.

Finally! Thank freaking gods this book was good because I have been so disappointed in this year's Naughty or Nice books and was worried for the rest of them. But there's hope! This book was so so good. I loved every page and wouldn't happily read more.

This one has a lot going on. Jayden is 24 and works as a nursery nurse. He and his mom were in an accident when he was only 5, but it left his mom in a coma, that she's been in for 19 years. Jayden went through a slew of foster homes until he found Michelle and Myles, who he lived with until he was 18. Michelle and Myles are essentially surrogate parents to Jayden but even with them, Jayden has a lot of unresolved trauma and self esteem issues. He believes he's too much for Daddies and is scared of scaring them away. He's a little and just looking for someone to cuddle.

Ben is 36 and an army veteran. He served in the army for 18 years and only left due to medical injury. Ben is disabled and uses a prosthetic arm and hand. He hasn't had many relationships due to being closeted in the army but his best friend Jude convinces him to try out the letters to Santa feature on the Cuffd app. Ben has recently been thinking he was more of a Daddy Dom than a strict Dom and it was the perfect place to see if he could find a boy.

What I loved most about this book in comparison to the others in this season is that the two connect over cuffd but they meet fairly quickly and then start dating. It isn't a long drawn out getting to know someone anonymously online. They meet and start dating and connect and explore and figure themselves out together. Because this is the way the book is set up, it allowed for each character to have their own moments apart from each other. Jayden's arc revolves a lot around visiting his mom and sorting through his feelings and also has some scenes at his job involving a promotion. Ben doesn't get as much character development but he does take the time to learn about age play before he commits to Jaden and there are a couple comments about his job as counselor and visiting his parents.

I love that this book is over 300 pages. I actually think it's like 350 something and it needed it. It needed the growth and the little bit of angst to work through some of the emotional and physical trauma that these characters went through. Also this book features a praise kink and it was so well done. Highly recommend.

This is a book that features age play including ABDL and an age gap.

Gay MC with PTSD and anxiety, disabled gay MC, secondary gay characters, secondary character with severe PTSD, set in UK

CW: medical emergency, anxiety, physical trauma, PTSD, panic attacks, explicit sex, nonsexual age play and ABDL, severe injury of a parent, physical assault

HIS BOY TO CHERISH is part of the Naughty or Nice Season Two series, and I am over the moon to announce Jayden gets his HEA!!!!

Oh, man! I fell for Jayden in Greeking Out and my heart hurt for him because the Daddy he got was definitely NOT one on the caring scale. And it was obvious from the very beginning that THAT is what Jayden not only wants but needs.

Bless him, you find out about Jayden's life and he's had it rough but he keeps up appearances and leaves his mask firmly in place as no one wants a grumpy boy. It is up to Ben to prove to him that he wants him no matter what, through joy and sadness, through pain and sorrow, as well as good times. And boy, does Ben step up to the mark!

This has a light Christmas theme, as in they first meet on Boxing Day and their courtship takes place over the Christmas period. Ben and Jayden instantly click but both have questions -- which is completely understandable!

I loved how Troy and Apollo were here but didn't take over the story. I really want Jude to have his own too. Yes, I'm greedy!

A warm and fuzzy story that is absolutely recommended by me. It is heartwarming and sincere and left me with a huge smile on my face. Loved it!

His Boy to Cherish is the fifth book in the Naughty or Nice series season 2. His Boy to Cherish is written by Colette Davison.

This book is about Ben and Jayden (if you read Greeking Out you already met him!!!). Ben has been out of the army for 2 years, medical discharge, who signes up for Cuff'd after some nagging from his best friend and ex-army buddy Jude. He writes a letter to Santa to find a Boy to cherish.

I loved this story. I asked Colette if Jayden would get a book after finishing Greeking Out and I'm so glad he did. I loved it so much!! Ben and Jayden are perfect together! Their story was sweet, sexy, full of feels, fun and very well written! I loved seeing Troy and Apollo (Greeking Out). I hope Jude gets a book!

Ben and Jayden, I am so glad Jayden finds his Daddy. He needed one when we met him in earlier books.

This is a cute, Christmas themed, Daddy by read with a dom who realises he is a daddy. The age gap isnt an issue and I love all the stuffies!

Jayden and Ben's sweet romance really resonated with me, and it was wonderful to watch as they fell in love one tender moment at a time. For a man who'd never been a Daddy before, Ben took to it like a natural with Jayden. He had that perfect blend of soft praise and sternness, and the longer he and Jayden spent together the more their connection clicked into place. Jayden was heartbreakingly insecure in the beginning, but under Ben's gentle guidance and reassurance he grew into an absolutely adorable sweetheart. The two of them made my heart melt into a puddle of goo, and I never once found it odd how quickly their relationship progressed because of how deeply intimate their dynamic was. As I learned about the burdens each man carried, got to know their friends and families, and enjoyed the sweet and sexy sides of their dates, the thing I kept coming back to was how remarkably resilient and kind-hearted Ben and Jayden were. The situations they'd each endured could have easily twisted them up into bitter, jaded men, but instead they chose to press on and keep sharing positivity with those around them. Their big, beautiful hearts were what made it so easy for me to fall in love with them, and seeing Jayden and Ben find a lifelong connection with each other felt even more satisfying because of it. I couldn't be more pleased by the way their low-angst romance unfolded, and now all that's left is to wait and hope that Jude will get a story of his own someday.

This sweet Daddy/boy story is part of a multi-author series called Naughty or Nice (Season 2) in which men find each other through letters to Santa on a hook-up app. It’s also tied to the multi-author series Destination Daddies. While Jayden is a side character in Colette’s book Greeking Out from the Destination Daddies series, it isn’t necessary to read any of the other books to enjoy this one, but it sure is a bonus to have the knowledge of Jayden and other characters as well as enjoy more truly magical love stories.

Jayden, one of the Littles from Colette Davison’s “Greeking Out,” has never had a Daddy like Ben. His experiences with other men have been less than great and often times harmful to Jayden’s self-worth. In Greeking Out I felt so terrible for Jayden and how the Daddy he was with on the cruise wasn’t at all good for him. He wasn’t a very good Daddy at all. In this story, Jayden winds up being matched with Ben, an ex-soldier and amputee. Ben, a Dom, doesn’t know what he needs but he suspects he needs to take on the Daddy role and care for someone. Ben and Jayden have a 12 year age gap between them and Jayden is Ben’s first little. It’s wonderful to watch them explore and discover things about each other and themselves in and out of the bedroom and Little space. A beautiful story with lots of cuddles, stuffies, and so much patient but passionate love and understanding. I can’t wait to see what’s next

His Boy to Cherish is part of the multi-author Naughty or Nice Season Two series. This is a beautifully written emotional, sweet, twelve year age gap, lots of stuffies, hurt/comfort story. Have tissues handy, if you're like me you might need them. Jayden had about given up on finding a Daddy that would stick around and care for him the way he needed. Ben had never been a Daddy before, but he knew he leaned that way more than just being a Dom. After writing a letter to Santa on the Cuffd dating app Ben waited to see who would respond. I loved Jayden and Ben together from the very beginning. It took a lot for Jayden to trust Ben but after he was able to let go and be himself it was beautiful to watch. I loved that Ben's friend Jude was there to help him in the beginning and want to help Ben become a good Daddy. Jude is such a great character. I loved that Jayden still spent time with Michelle and Myles, even after he left home, as well has his Mum, even though it's difficult.
It was so good to see Jayden again, and Troy and Apollo from Geeking Out. I'm glad Jayden got his own story. He deserved to find a good Daddy to treat him right, someone to pay attention to him, and take care of him. This is a wonderful addition to the series and I definitely recommend it.

Nice slow burn story.

His Boy to Cherish is the first daddy kink book I’ve read with ABDL. I didn’t think I’d ever knowingly read a book with ABDL but I really enjoy Colette Davison’s writing, and this was described as “light ABDL,” so I thought I’d give it a try. I’m glad I decided to read it.

Jayden is really sweet and he wants someone to hold and cuddle him so bad. If Jayden seems familiar it might be because you read Greeking Out, which released back in August 2021. Fans of the book really wanted Jaden to get an HEA after he was treated so poorly by his daddy in that book and Colette delivered a great HEA for him in His Boy to Cherish.

While I’ll never be a big fan of ABDL, it truly is pretty light in this story so don’t let that aspect of the book keep you from reading it. The story is told in alternating first person POV which I enjoy. I liked the tender way that Ben cared for Jayden. Both of these characters are suffering and I was so happy for them that they found each other and that their needs meshed so perfectly.

Now Colette has done it again. 😊 She’s introduced a character that I’m sure fans will want to see get his own HEA; I’m talking about Ben’s friend, Jude. 😊

A copy of this book was provided to me at my request but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author.

Colette revisits not only the Cuffd world, but her characters from Destination Daddies – specifically Jayden (though the others make an appearance or two!), the little who had some challenges with his Daddy for the week in Crete.

Jayden is used to not being wanted beyond a night or two. He’s experienced a lot of pain in his life, carries a huge burden that wears him down, and he’s a little more clingy than others (he thinks), desiring nothing more than to be shown love and his worth.

Ben was medically discharged from the military and has finally reached the point where he’s ready to start dating again. He’s definitely a caregiver and wants someone who likes the softer side of his D-type personality.

Needless to say, the two are well matched. There’s a lot they need to learn about one another, Jayden needs to learn to trust, and Ben has to put forth the extra effort to make things work and ease the pain of Jayden’s past.

The journey the two take is beautiful. It’s emotional, soft, slow but steady, and focuses on a level of praise you don’t see in many books, showing how Ben helps heal Jayden and support him into their new lives together.

The book is sweet, poignant in spots, and simply a wonderful example of a Daddy and his perfect boy finding each other.

His Boy to Cherish is a super sweet, fun and lovely story with wonderful characters and a great storyline. It is well written, emotional, low angst, deals well with some difficult issues and I really like how well the Daddy/little aspect is portrayed. Jayden has had to deal with a lot in his life and what he really wants and needs is a caring daddy to keep him. Ben is amazing and ready to explore what it means to be a daddy. They are exactly what the other needs and I love how their relationship evolves as they spend time together and discover that they have a strong connection. The care and sensitivity that Ben has as Jayden learns to trust him and share his past with him is my favorite part of this story. Jayden blossoms with all of the positive reinforcement he gets from Ben and he also shows Ben that he can be a supportive and caring partner as well. I love the secondary characters and I really hope we get to see more of Jude in the future, the ending is great and I can't wait to see what the author has in store for us next.

Spoilers! Oh, I loved this! I wanted to hug Jayden in Greeking Out, not I want to hug Ben for protecting him.
Ben is strong, bitch mentality and physically. That’s not to say he’s invulnerable. He’d be the first to admit he’s not. His life changed dramatically and he adapted and thrived.
Jayden has been left behind by so many. His last foster parents saved him from a rather grim outlook and gave him purpose. He’s a nurturer himself. He needs more, though. Someone to let him let go of his troubles and get outside his own mind. Little space is as necessary to him as breathing. Too bad so many Daddies aren’t cut out for it.
Ben wasn’t sure of what he needed. His suspicions were spot on, though. He needed to give what Jayden needed. Jayden needed every bit of Ben’s caring.
His Boy to Cherish is a wonderful story. It’s warm and caring. It has it’s share of heartbreak, but it’s part of life. Jayden’s PTSD is finally recognized and addressed.
It’s a lovely story, very satisfying. The characters are real and understandable, as you would expect from Colette. Well done!

This story is so full of love. Ben and Jayden each have tragedy in their pasts, and Jayden in particular breaks my heart. This deeply wounded young man needs a kind and loving daddy dom, and Ben is the perfect man to fill that role. I adore these two together!
The supporting characters are caring and wonderful. I am glad Ben and Jayden have such a strong support system. Ben's mother is hilarious, Jayden's former foster mother is protective, and Jude is a true friend who supports them while also needing their support. I hope Jude finds the boy meant for him soon!
There are depictions here of PTSD, anxiety, grief and despair; but there is also healing, laughter, and hope. The romance is sweet and sexy, and Ben and Jayden are so easy to care about. I love these men and hope to hear more from them in the future.

I loved Jayden and Ben so much!
Jayden is the sweetest and more precious little boy there can ever be. He’s so insecure and afraid of not being loved and not being enough he always puts on a brave face. Always smiling too hard because if he lets the veneer of positivity slip he may just crumble to pieces and succumb to sadness.
Ben has never dated when he was in the army and now that he has been medically discharged after losing his left arm he’s wary to date because he’s not sure how his physical limitations will be received. Also, he’s starting to discover that he’s much more a Daddy than a Dom. When he meets Jayden on the Cuffd app, he is not really sure what being a Daddy to a Little entails, but the surge of protectiveness he feels make it simple for him to slip into the role.
A sweet, sometimes bittersweet story with a cute boy and his forever Daddy finding their HEA.

Another great Cuff'd story by Colette. We first met Jayden in Greeking out and I'm so pleased he got his own story. He meets ex-army veteran Ben. After getting injured and losing half of one of his arms and being medically discharged from the army, his friend jude gets him into kink clubs but he realises that he's leaning more towards being a daddy as he enjoys caring for someone. Jayden certainly needs caring for and they are a perfect match for each other. They do both have their issues but they help each other. My heart broke for Jayden every time he visits his mum. This book was full of sweetness, chemistry and humour. I loved Ben's mum and I really want jude to get his own story so he can meet his porn star. I loved reading this story 💜

**ARC Review**

OMG...this was so good. So this is my first book in the series and if all are as good as this one I will definitely have to get cracking. Colette Davison did an awesome job with this Daddy/boy romance. Certain aspects throughout made this realistic...not really all fluff and sugary goodness but a romance that pulls you in and relatable. Not a lot of angst... some heat that keeps it spicy good and a lot of heart and love. Jayden and Ben was a good fit. Fate and Ben's Santa letter brought these two wonderful people together and as a reader I was delighted that this was a gradual build of getting to know each other...nothing to fast...absolutely the right pace that made everything turn out wonderful. Loved this and I think others will too. 5 STARS!!!
