She doesn't bite. Not always, anyway.
DNF at Ch 15 of 21 when it was revealed that the new friend the witch Kiera had made was actually a magic thief that fatally stole witch's powers.
This was a story from the Stone Witches of London series and followed Kiera and her boyfriend vampire Drayce. The story started off with them at odds because Drayce was trying to resist drinking from Kiera, and Kiera wanted to get rid of her magic after an accident that occurred prior to the start of the story. The world building was lacking, the characters were shallow, the plot was predictable, and both individuals seemed like they weren't really committed to each other with the lack of communication.
A vampire and a witch walk into a story. All they do is fight. Neither one is willing to give an inch. Predictably, bad things happen. You can see bad things happening from a long ways away. Why didn't the characters see it?
A pleasant enough story, but certainly didn't draw me in.
