This one was weaker than the first 4. Still good, but I could use a bit more progression

i didn't enjoy this one as much as the others, but im still invested in the series. mikey is probably my fav, and takemichi gets on my nerves 😭

Kazutora pisses me off so much, this boy is absolutely unhinged and not in the way I can get behind it in a way that I can't help but like them regardless of their moral compass (this is coming from a Hannibal Lecter and Will Graham fan). I don't know if there's a backstory about Kazutora but he was most definitely dropped on his head as baby one too many times. His logic and denial of killing Mikey's brother will never cease to amaze me ' I want to do something nice for Mikey + I killed Mikey's brother = Mikey's fault = I kill Mikey'. Like what!? Honestly don't understand how people like this character and maybe I'll understand as more volumes come out but for now he's one of my most disliked characters even with Kisaki and Hanma being on scene.

Mình không biết mình đã mong chờ điều gì, nhưng cảm quan chung là tương đối thất vọng. Vẫn có nhiều chi tiết xây dựng nhân vật tốt, xây dựng bối cảnh thú vị. Nhưng cốt truyện gần như đứng yên nên mình khá là ức chế khi đọc. Cộng thêm động cơ của Takemichi khá là khó hiểu. Có rất nhiều cách để cứu người bạn gái nhưng mình vẫn thấy lấn cấn khi thấy anh này chọn cách khá là khó nhằn.
- Draken ở trong tù cảnh báo Takemichi về sự nguy hiểm của Kisaki. Có quá nhiều chuyện xảy ra và mình cần phải biết Draken đã trải qua chuyện gì. Dù vậy, để đi tận cùng sự việc Takemichi muốn trở thành người đứng đầu Toman (???).
- Trong một diễn biến mới ở quá khứ thì Kisaki trở thành đội trưởng đội 3. Takemichi lập tức gây hấn và kéo bản thân vào rắc rối.
- Sự ra đi của Baji khiến Takemichi đi lùng sục tìm hiểu quá khứ của nhóm bạn này. Đây là phần mình ưng nhất vì bối cảnh các băng đảng tiếp tục được mở rộng.
- Takemichi trở thành nhân chứng cho màn gia nhập Walhalla của Baji. Plot twist của Kazutora khá hay.
- Câu chuyện quá khứ của Baji - Kazutora vs Mikey khá đau lòng. Tuy vậy mình chưa hiểu nhiều về Kazutora nên mình không có cảm nhận gì. Dù sao mình cũng cảm nhận được động cơ của các nhân vật thông qua câu chuyện đó.
- Cuộc tử chiến sắp bắt đầu. Takemichi cũng bày tỏ nguyện vọng của bản thân (dù có hơi hâm).
- Người đứng đầu "Thiên sứ không đầu" lại là Mikey - loạn ngày càng loạn. Những cái chết được Draken tiết lộ ở hiện tại khiến mọi thứ trở nên căng thẳng. Thú vị sao là trong lúc đó Takemichi lại có những hồi tưởng về quá khứ, những kí ức mà anh ấy đáng lẽ ra không nên có. Cái vụ du hành thời gian này thật dễ khiến người ta nhức đầu.
- Các nhân vật chủ chốt lên dây cót tinh thần để chuẩn bị choảng nhau.
Và như vậy cả tập kép này như một cái set-up chuẩn bị cho những căng thẳng sắp tới. Vẫn sẽ mua và hóng tập 4 thôi. Nhưng mà tập này có thể cắt ngắn bớt lại một chút ở nhiều chỗ. Hơi tiếc :>.

I really enjoyed this one. There were so many plots and the art is just (ㅅ´ ˘ `)♡ I just question Kazutora’s thought process..? But I’m really looking forward to read the next volume!

So Takemichi wants to be the top of Toman now because he's convinced that is how he will save Hina. Then we find out Kisaki is behind everything wrong happening and that he is the reason Hina keeps dying. So now Takemichi wants to take out Kisaki, he punches him after Kisaki is declared third division captain leader (to replace Pah-chin. Then Baji is pissed and beats Takemichi up and then quits Toman to join Valhalla and declares Toman his enemy. Then Takemichi finds out the founding members of Toman and Baji is one of them, and so is Kazutora and Baji always went along with Kazutora's plans.
Baji is actually Mikey's childhood friend.
Well Kazutora's plan in the past was to break in and steal a motorbike for Mikey’s birthday and Baji did not want to go along with it. But he did and they broke into the shop and we’re ready to steal the bike and we’re headed out with it when Baji got caught by the shop owner who turned out to be Mikey’s older brother and because Mikey’s older brother saw Baji's face, Kazutora kills him and they go and get arrest arrested, and Mikey finds out that they were responsible for his brother dying, but he forgave Baji because he knew that it wasn’t his fault that Mikey’s brother was dead and Kazutora took the responsibility and was arrested.
Now jump forward, Baji leaves Toman to join Valhalla, and it turns out that one of the head leaders is Kazutora.
And Baji's test to prove his loyalty to Valhalla is to beat up his vice captain of Toman.
Because Baji before he quit was the first division, Captain of Toman.
Now he joins Valhalla and Valhalla declares a fight against Toman.
Mikey wants Baji back and sends Takemichi to do the job, but Takemichi only agrees to it if Mikey gets rid of Kisaki.
So he tries, but he knows that he won’t be able to bring him back to Toman.
And the first division vice captain enlists Takemichis help in order to find out more about Kisaki. And he believes that Baji only joined Valhalla to learn about Kisaki as well in hopes to take him down.
So we go back in time to find out that the true leader and mastermind of the whole thing that is, including the fights, the plot to get Draken killed, the responsibility for the new Toyko Manji gang is Kisaki.
Now we jump to the present and Takemichi goes and sees Draken again. And Draken tells him that the true leader of the headless angel gang, Valhalla is none other than Mikey and he explains that it’s Mikey and Kisaki who are the leaders of the new Toyko Manji gang. And the fight that Takemichi knows about in the past was the reason for the new gang because what happens is Toman loses and it was all Mikey's fault.
Kazutora kills Baji in this fight and therefore Mikey goes after and kills Kazutora. Kisaki has someone else take the blame and together him and Mikey create Toyko Manji gang. Which this gang is made up of Toman, Valhalla, and Mobeius. So all three gangs are now together into one, and it was all part of Kisakis grand plan. He uses people to get what he wants and what he wants is absolute power and control over everything so he is a mastermind and he has all these moving parts and he had his site set on Mikey from the very beginning because he knew that with him, he could literally have everything and nobody would be able to stop him.
so right now Takemichi is determined to help save Baji from dying so then Mikey would have no reason to murder Kazutora and then there wouldn't be this new gang and Hina wouldn't be killed.
I feel bad that Draken is on death row and it's all Kisakis fault. Everyone is used by him and he's the reason for all the bad and destruction. He wishes he had killed Kisaki when he had the chance. I feel for Draken.
But Mikey actually killing someone? Whoa!
I swear every time I read this series every single issue gets better and better and there are so many plot, twists, and new characters that keep getting introduced so it’s constantly entertaining and makes you want to read more and I’m just stunned by the story but also the artwork in this manga is top notch. I am absolutely obsessed with us and every time I learned something different. I literally will gas out loud because this book series has me absolutely shook. I love it and I cannot wait to read more of the series and find out all the things that need to happen to change the future and it’s just crazy because the plot keeps getting thicker and thicker.
They tried desperately to get Baji back, but he said that he wants to kill Mikey and I don’t understand. I think it’s because he thinks he owes Kazutora and I just don’t understand why he turned on them so quickly I just don’t understand and there has to be more to that story.
But now the battle has begun, and Mikey doesn’t want to fight Baji but he knows that he has to because Baji says that Toman is the enemy now and that’s how they deal with traders but they want to get him back.
So of course Draken tries to state a condition that if Toman defeats Valhalla they are going to take back Baji. But Kazutora said that there is no conditions, and there will be no overseer and that they plan to completely torture and kill them. And the worst part of all this is Kisaki is the mastermind and he is getting exactly what he wants. And now the fight has begun and all bets are off the table pretty much and that’s scary because I don’t know who's gonna die in this battle and I have a bad feeling that it's only gonna make everything worse. I just need to know why Baji laugh so easily I don’t understand like is it because he thinks he owes Kazutora for taking the prison time for him? I just hope that we get the answers because I feel like there’s more to the story. The battle has begun and I’m afraid to find out what happens.

Muy interesante.
Si bien es cierto que Takemichi puede sacar de quicio muchas veces como protagonista, el resto del elenco goza de un carisma que carga con toda la historia.
Esta misma está bien hilada, y a cada paso el entresijo de problemáticas es más complejo y por lo tanto, muestra más de la historia de estos personajes en una suerte de arqueología narrativa.
Muy fácil y entretenida de leer, y, el dibujo como siempre, encantador, la línea clara junto a ocasionales tramas le dan un toque muy especial al estilo.
¡Me encanta!

Each time we peel back the origins of the bleak future for the Tokyo Manji gang, we find out just a bit more.
Our protagonist gets more and more confident in inserting himself into the gang's operations, but I love that when he does, he still gets beat up, because he is still not a strong fighter. Instead, his drive, and passion is what seems to keep winning over people in the gang.
I can't wait for the next volume!

¡Me está encantando esta historia! En este tomo conocemos a nuevos personajes y descubrimos más sobre el pasado de Mikey y la creación de la ToMan. Además, van abriéndose nuevos frentes y Takemichi lo tiene cada vez más difícil para cambiar el pasado. Sinceramente no esperaba que una historia de pandilleros me fuera a gustado de esta manera.

O serie de top, cu personaje interesante și intrigă pe măsură! 🫶
Ador manga omnibus, fiindcă NU mi se pare destul de lung un singur volum și nu îmi place delooooc să aștept atât de mult după următorul. Mai ales când fiecare final vine cu cel mai chinuitor cliffhanger. 😩
Volumul anterior s-a terminat furtunos: deși Takemichi este convins că a reparat linia timpului prin salvarea lui Draken, se dovedește că moartea lui Hineda în viitor a fost doar amânată...
Că doar nu se putea ca Takemichi să rezolve atât de ușor problemele din trecut și să elimine tragedia, lucrurile iau o întorsătură neașteptată și astfel descoperim cine este personaj negativ.
Aflăm de asemenea evenimente traumatice din trecutul lui Mikey, un personaj complex care pare a fi blând, dar care ascunde un întuneric bine păzit.
Îmi place tare mult psihologia pe care se bazează caracterul lui. Ca lider al grupului Tokio Manji, Mikey dă dovadă de maturitate și autoritate, dar câteodată el este doar un adolescent glumeț care se bucură de viață. A fost foarte dureros să aflu de povara care îi umbrește trecutul.
Takemichi m-a enervat mai mult decât în celelalte volume. Mi-a plăcut totuși că nu a devenit ca prin magie un luptător deosebit și că încă ia bătaie. Totuși, ce trece prin capul lui e greu de explicat. Mikey se comportă mai bine decât el în unele situații, și nu are de fapt 26 de ani. Am simțit diferența de mentalitate și carismă, deși cei doi au două lucruri în comun: determinarea și reziliența.
Cu fiecare călătorie în timp Takemichi își depășește fricile și se avântă din ce în ce mai profund în lumea periculoasă a delicvenților din Tokio.
Din păcate, mi s-a părut puțin mai slăbuț decât primele două volume și a primit 4 steluțe. Poate s-au complicat lucrurile cam mult.
Sper ca în volumul următor să se mai descâlcească firele narative care m-au băgat în confuzie și să progresăm cu mai mult avânt.
Sunt foarte investită în poveste și încă o consider cea mai bună serie manga tradusă la @nezumi_bynemira 👑

En este tomo entramos de lleno al arco de Walhalla, se presentan oficialmente a Baji, Chifuyu y Kisaki.
Podemos ver como la trágica historia de la Toman es orquestada por Kisaki.
Creo que hay un error en esta parte de la historia o algo particular, esto es que en algunos diálogos Naoto actúa como si hubiera vivido las líneas temporales anteriores. Quizá fue a propósito para no tener que explicar cada vez algún dato importante, como también pudo ser un desliz ¿Quién sabe?
Me gustó que la investigación tomara más peso en este volumen, tanto en el pasado como en el presente. Haciendo posible que Takemichi tenga un aliado para proteger a todos e ir en contra de Kisaki.
En este volumen comienzas a sumergirte en la historia a un punto de leer sin control ni pausa.
Podemos ver como la trágica historia de la Toman es orquestada por Kisaki.

Reseña Manga: Tokyo Revengers, de Ken Wakui (Parte 1- Tomo 1-4)
⛩️Hoy os traigo un post de estos mangas que están causando furor, y no son otros que los de Tokyo Revengers!
⛩️En esta ocasión os analizaré los primeros cuatro tomos, ya que considero que es un arco argumental ya cerrado que equivale a la primera temporada del anime!
A partir del quinto tomo empieza otra dinámica con lo cual esos los dejaré para más adelante!
⛩️Lo primero que debéis saber es que Tokyo Revengers engancha, y engancha mucho! A mi me los recomendó @unpandaentrelibros__ una y otra vez pero no me animaba, no creí que fuera una temática para mí, hasta que me dijo que iba de viajes en el tiempo. Ahí se me cayeron los calzones al suelo.
⛩️Y no os preocupéis que esto no es spoiler, aparece en sinopsis, trailers de anime, veintemil post, osea que no os preocupéis, al contrario puede que esta sea la razón por la que os llame la atención, como me pasó a mí.
⛩️Por otro lado no solamente va de esto, también gira en torno a chavales problemáticos, bandas organizadas, infancias duras,... Toca muchos palos que no solo nos sorprenderán sino que hace que la serie sea de las más completas que existen.
⛩️Metiéndonos en temas más técnicos, los tomos en español se componen del equivalente a dos tomos japoneses, con lo cual son libros tochitos. Además la edición de @normaedmanga es inmejorable, incluso tiene portadas reversibles!
⛩️Como os decía es una serie que te atrapa, al leerla terminas amando a los personajes, sientes tensión o miedo por ellos, ríes, lloras, tiene plot twist increíbles... es una montaña rusa de principio a fin. A mi se me ha llegado a saltar algunas muchas lagrimitas al leerlo, con eso os lo digo todo.
⛩️En resumidas cuentas, es una serie manga que recomiendo, que seguiré recomendando y dando por saco con ella durante muucho tiempo!
⛩️También quiero aclarar que el símbolo que aparece en los mangas es el Manji, no tiene que ver con los nazis, por si las dudas
⛩️Por cierto tenéis en el carrusel las portadas, las portadas secundarias en versión japo, el formato sin sobrecubierta, un par de escenas para que veáis el dibujo... Y si necesitáis más info solo tenéis que pedirlo!

Un volum duríssim, carregat d'escenes punyents i devastadores amb un ambient de calma tensa abans de la tempesta del tot sufocant. Narració addictiva, il·lustracions espectacularment expressives i una trama sorprenent que es va enredant més i més... M'encanta! ♥ Ara bé, no descarto fer-me un croquis amb els personatges perquè començo a tenir cert embolic ^^'

Cu fiecare nou volum, seria Justițiarii din Tokio (trad. Alexandra Baranyi și Andrei Perciun) devine din ce în ce mai faină 💥 Zilele astea am devorat dintr-o ședere și cel de-al treilea Omnibus, care ne aruncă în mijlocul unei lupte pentru supremația străzilor 🥇
Takemichi trebuie să ajungă în fruntea bandei Tokio Manji dacă vrea să o poată salva pe Hinata. Însă, totul se complică atunci când își dă seama că cineva trage sforile din umbră 👀
Mi-a plăcut și acest volum, a fost o lectură antrenantă și explozivă, ce își adâncește tot mai mult aria de explorare în ceea ce privesc personajele seriei ✍️
Nu pot decât să vă recomand și vouă seria, are ritm alert, are personaje captivante și are și multe lupte, atât în stradă, cât și pe plan psihologic 🤗

⭐️4,5⭐️ Buah, cada vez se pone más interesante.
Es increíble como sobreponen tramas, como enlazan acontecimientos, a la vez que aparecen nuevos personajes.
Una de las maravillas de esta saga, es que todo personaje que aparece tiene importancia en el transcurso de los tomos.
Me ha gustado mucho y además de que se a quedado en una parte increíble.

Este tomo revela cosas vividas del pasado y nos presenta mejor a un personaje muy carismático como es Baji. Aunque también se enfoca más en presentar las trifulcas entre las pandillas y sigue un guión más de pelea también desarrolla un poco más la historia del jefe de la Tokyo Maji, Makie. Una lectura rápida y entretenida.

Como es posible que un manga enganche tanto ?!Es decir , que pequeño no es pero me lo he leído en tiempo récord 😶.Simplemente impresionante ,toca temas un poquito sensibles pero la historia te mantiene pegada a él hasta que lo acabes 😌maravilla .

Mi favorito hasta ahora. Hay unos cuántos plot twits que me dejaron flipando. Me gustó mucho poder saber más de los personajes principales y de la creación de la ToMan. Todo el rato me mantuvo enganchada con ganas de saber que iba a pasar. Necesito saber cómo evoluciona toda la historia.
Mi favorito hasta ahora. Hay unos cuántos plot twits que me dejaron flipando. Me gustó mucho poder saber más de los personajes principales y de la creación de la ToMan. Todo el rato me mantuvo enganchada con ganas de saber que iba a pasar. Necesito saber cómo evoluciona toda la historia.

Genial avance de trama, he echado de menos que los capitulos empiecen con R todos de nuevo pero no imoorta, el final es tan cliffhanger que compensa todo. No se cuanto aguantaré sin ir a comorar el 4. Cada vez me gusta mas Mikey el invencible y ahota quiero conducir una bubba *. *

I don't think Wakui knows anymore the timeline for the things that are going on, and he also goes over the top with some of the characters, but it's still so much fun that it is difficult not to like it.

Esto se ha puesto MUY bueno. Baji y Chifuyu captan la atención desde el instante en el que aparecen y Kazutora me parece tremendo personaje. Hay una página que él tiene predominancia, donde se muestra un proceso acelerado de disonancia cognitiva que lo define a la perfección. Es brutal.

Sigue con buen ritmo pero tampoco tiene momentazos, se ve que lo bueno viene en el siguiente tomo.
Las buenas partes son ver a Mickey tanto en las aguas termales como en la pelea mostrando abdominales.

4 stars! Liked this a lot, I was happy we got more background history on the gang. But I kinda began feeling bored towards the end, but either way it was good. Liked it a little better than 3-4! But that’s my opinion!
